Great reasonably priced food, and free fire pit while you eat and drink. The hot dogs are made of pork, chicken and beef. The mussels are good, potato salad is just okay and the blueberry pie is delicious!

Average experience. This was our first stop in Bar Harbor. We were recommended this place on social media. It was extremely expensive and just meh. We ordered a hard shell medium lobster and a lobster roll. We loved the lobster roll. It was cold with mayo style. I’ve only ever had lobster roll once before and this was a lot better. The lobster was yummy. They paired it with Cape Cod beans potato chips which I thought was cheap. We ordered blueberry pie and whoopie pie. Both were meh. The blueberry pie lacked flavor and the whoopie pie just isn’t my thing. The atmosphere is nice. It’s all outdoors and you all up to the shack to order. You have to throw out your trash, but they do serve you the food. They call out your number and you raise ur hand and they come over. They have a fire pit and Adirondack chairs which is nice. I loved their old soaker blueberry soda. Restroom outside porta potty

Best Lobster Roll that I can remember having any time in recent years!! Large portion size, great value, and the lobster was so fresh. Don't go anywhere else if you are near Bar Harbor / Acadia area. Or dang, even drive up from Boston or NH if you are up for it hah! You won't regret, so delicious!!

Recommended to us by one of the locals C-Ray Lobster did not disappoint. Most excellent food. We had whole hard shell lobster, clam chowder, crab melt and the blueberry pie. All amazingly delicious, and at very good price! Highly recommend.

Went to 5 different lobster. Restaurants on Mount Desert island and tried the clam chowder at each one. This was by far the best might be the best clam chowder i ever had. A must try

We were heading home to New Hampshire and realized we had forgotten to buy a blueberry pie. Luckily, we passed by C-Ray and saw they sold homemade blueberry pies. Although they were closed, the owner was kind enough to sell me one. I'm so glad he did because it was the best blueberry pie I've ever had. It was made by his 15-year-old daughter using an old family recipe with real butter for the crust. It was amazing. I highly recommend their pies, especially if the daughter made them.

We tried going to “Happy Clam Shack” after seeing reviews of the large lobster rolls. We were recommended this place after they said they ran out of lobster meat. Giving it 4 stars because the lobster rolls here have a lot less meat for the same price as the place down the road. However, we did still enjoy our lobster rolls and blueberry pie on our way out from Bar Harbor. Just wish there was more meat like Happy Clam.

Its pricier than others. I got the lobster roll after a short discussion with the lady at window. $33 later I was sad, not much flavor (maybe its just me..). My sisters chicken sandwich was great with blueberry jelly!. I'd go back for the chicken sandwich, but not the lob roll. Pie was good too but no option to warm it :-(

Yo!! It’s a restaurant, and a working shipyard! Do not be fooled by the initial turn when you turn in to see this huge warehouse with three large doors and a few dry docked boats. Keep going around the building, you’ll see the restaurant and the shore. This little gem has been here for decades apparently, and is a local favorite and I can see why! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. All in all just a great place! Gotta love Lobsta!

Looking for a place not so jammed up in Bar Harbor and we stopped at this spot. Service was fast and friendly, casual atmosphere, great food, excellent chowder, cold local beer!

My family and I stopped here to grab something to eat and it was great! I had the Chloe Panini with blueberry sauce and it was delicious! Super friendly and welcoming!

Clam chowder, lobster rolls, mussels, beer, kids menu, and don’t forget the blueberry pie!! Great, peaceful, outdoorsy atmosphere with our family. Nice and helpful staff. Prices seemed fair for market items. Would recommend!

We enjoyed a Crab Roll and a chowder clams, it was delicious and fresh. The staff was very courteous and the prices reasonable. I recommend it .

One of the best places we had lobster. This place is quick with the service even though they were busy. The staff was very nice and catered to our needs. They had a nice warm seating area for dining in. The food tasted wonderful! That lobster tasted great! The blueberry pie was excellent! We would definitely come back here if we were in the area again!

There are a lot of lobster joints in bar harbor, but this is the real deal. Forget the tourist traps. Fisherman owned and run, they have a different understanding of and respect for the food. Warm boiled lobster cooked in seawater or the chilled lobster roll, either way it's the best in town. Crab roll is also legit. You can order online and just drive over and pick it up. Super nice staff and efficiently run too. No frills and no fuss. Just amazing food from the experts. Puts the main street joints to shame!

Do not miss out on this wonderful place. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the lobster is as fresh as it gets, and it was our favorite dining experience of our trip. Thank you for creating a great experience for my wife and I. Keep it up, you all are awesome. Eat here and support local.

This place is great! Naked Lobster Rolls + the Blueberry pie were delicious. The people were really friendly, covered heated seating or outdoor seating available. Would highly recommend!

Must eat Maine lobster! I know there's a ton of restaurants that serve Maine lobster but this one we went to was also a great one! Their chowder was pretty good. The boiled whole lobster tasted incredibly fresh and wonderful. There was a sweetness to the tender meat, you just can't get enough! Definitely recommend! 5 stars and 5 thumbs up!

The lobster dinner is so good. There are port-a-potties instead of regular bathrooms.

The lobsters are amazing, exquisite flavor especially when you pour butter and some lemon on it. Corn on the cob and clam chowder are great as well.

Trust the reviews and just go! I meant to get pictures of the food but we ate it too quickly. Hands down some of the best food we’ve had on our 14 day trip. We had a lobster roll, crab melt, clam chowder and of course the blueberry pie/blueberry ice cream. My only recommendation is to get your own pie as splitting one wasn’t enough 😂 everyone working was so nice as well. We also took our pups which is always a plus! Highly recommend!

Out of the 10 places we went to up and down the Maine coast for lobster, this one took the top mark. Hands down the most flavorful, the best no frills atmosphere, and the freshest lobster of the trip. Worth the very short drive out of Bar Harbor for a real treat.

The lobster rolls were amazing. We had a traditional roll and their most popular. All of their seating is outside which we love. They have a covered dining area and a lot of seating in the yard. They were helpfull and very friendly. The pie was very good but we have had better.

My husband, adult kids and I went for dinner tonight. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional: naked lobster rolls, crab roll, clam chowder, salad, steamed class & mussels, corn on the cob, cole slaw. Nice selection of adult beverages! Delicious!! Efficient & friendly service. Nice outdoor seating. We will certainly be back!!! Chef's kiss!

Great lobster roll and fire pit with ample seating.

I had the lobster roll, and my partner had the lobster cheese melts. Both were very good and a decent quantity of lobster meat per sandwich. Fun atmosphere however, they did have a bug and bee problem near the picnic tables. Also got a slice of the blueberry pie in my opinion it was just OK. It was not amazing. Would not order that again however, definitely would go back and order sandwiches.

Had crab melt which was superb! Must try their blueberry pie . Lobster roll was good but wished they had bit more butter on top would nice nevertheless it was tasty! Staff was very friendly and atmosphere was lovely. Ample parking and pet friendly! Place is kept well clean

I really like this place it's definitely not upscale as it's run out of their home, but they have an amazing lobster roll which includes chips and a pickle. They also sell beer and have an nice yard to hang out in while you eat your food.

It's not Red's (nothing is) but reliable if a little charmless spot. Keep looking! Naked roll was great with a panini press on the bun... Nice touch.

Great meal and layout with friendly people running the place. The clams and corn were the best I've had in a while. The lobster roll was great, very massive (not made with mayo) dip the lobster in some butter yum yumm. I shared a lobster roll with my dad we each had corn and our own clams. Potato salad was good too. Blueberry pie was great! Go watch sunset at Hadleys point after.

The food, the pies and the vibe are great! The only reason I marked service 4/5 is because you do clean up after yourself after the food is br to you.

Good place to eat. Love love love the lobster I had. The line is long and I would say they should have 2 lines or speed things up in some manner. On our second visit I waited in line for nearly a half hour to buy a blueberry pie! The pie is absolutely fantastic otherwise I would never have waited that long

The food was good. This was the first time I tried a lobster roll. It was good, but I don't think I am a fan of cold lobster. The mixture the lobster was mixed with had a good flavor. I recommend trying it. That is the only reason I gave a 4. The bread roll was very delicious. The homemade blueberry pie was very good. It was really sweet, the crust was very good & flaky. The lady that took our order was very nice & made sure everything was OK and that we had what we needed. Very nice people. Great place to sit outside and eat. Area is kept clean, plenty of wash stations to wash your hands.

The lobster roll was very very good. Great taste and served in almost all paper… everything but the potato chips was biodegradable… the details do matter. I save 5 stars for the places that actually serve food but the walk up was pleasant and they have a good setup for what looks like a small shed that serves great food. Lastly… why don’t you guys sell a plain bottle of water for a Buck??… I just can’t make myself pay 3 bucks for a a soda… C-Ray has a great menu except they need a a family option of the plain bottle of water. All the drinks were at least 3 bucks… ridiculously expensive for drinks when the rest of the menu seems reasonable.

The lobster meal is very reasonably priced and the mussels were some of the best my wife has had.
