The jerk chicken with coconut rice is AMAAAAAZING not too spicy but just the right amount of spice and flavor!

Jerk chicken was tender, I asked for the coconut rice, but honestly could not taste the coconut 😞 at all.

It's ok. As a Carib, this food will suffice-ish. The man that serves and manages over it is friendly and efficient.

Seriously so good!! Had the jerk chicken, nice spicy heat without being overwhelming. Tender, well seasoned. Great mac and cheese, and cabbage. No complaints at all. And the server was so friendly. Wholesome experience, great food, not terribly expensive and well worth the money. Already excited to try everything else on the menu!

If you're looking for anything close to a Caribbean dish, you have to try this place. It has a drive thru, or you can walk up to the window. We had curry chicken, jerk salmon, and goat. Everyone enjoyed their meal

The food is flavorful. Oxtail could have been more tender. Would recommend!

Great roadside to-go stand with fantastic Caribbean food. I’ve tried everything on the menu and recommend everything, but my go-to is the jerked half & half; favorite sides are the beans and the fried plantains.

Hit or miss. I would definitely avoid going on Friday. Sometimes it's freshly off the grill sometimes it has been sitting in the crock pot too long. They use a microwave to heat up rice and cabbage

I asked for lamb curry over rice but ended up getting jerk chicken and honestly I’m not even mad, that chicken was so seasoned and juicy I’m glad they messed my order up. Also go for the mac and cheese, I’d say before this place Orlando’s or hales chicken had the best Mac but nah this place hits it out of the park. 10/10 would recommend

Arriving in Oak Harbor and looking for takeout lunch. Wow did we score! We had a chicken curry and a vegetarian platter. Both were uniquely seasoned, paired wonderfully with our coconut rice, the black beans were deliciously spicy and the overall taste fit our love of medium spiced food. Friendly service. We’ll Be back!

If you are looking for a spicy trip to flavor town look no further! The portions are good and the service is always great I've tried the jerk chicken and ribs and they are both melt in your mouth tender and delicious if you are wanting something a little milder the curry is fabulous with not quite as much kick.

Friendly server. Great food with sizeable portions. I loved the vegetarian options and my friend loved her food as well. Certain items are only served on particular days like the oxtails (Tuesday and Thursday). Make sure you check the menu if you want something specific.

I was pretty disappointed in the food quality it was my first time and probably my last. We got the jerk chicken and coconut rice... well the chicken was very dry the rub Over powered each bite and left a bad after taste. Not sure I'f it had been sitting to long or not (was about 1235 when i went to get my husband and i food.. It was sooo dry.. the rice was just bland there was no juices for the rice to have any flavor.. we got home pulled out the chicken and used the rice for rice and beams for dinner. Spending $13 for it was disappointing .

The food is amazing, a lot of depth and flavor, we had the lamb curry over rice, curry chicken rice bowl, Mac and cheese, and fried ripe plantains. I would come here again in a heartbeat, plus the service was good as well.

We have never had Caribbean food. What a wonderful introduction and a breath of fresh food choice to the Oak Harbor area. We had the Tuesday special of oxtail, coconut rice and plantains. The oxtail was tender and had a great flavor. We've never had plantains and now understand why chefs like cooking with them. They are absolutely delicious. We are anxious to try the goat stew next.

Pros: The people here were very friendly. The portions were good. The food was spicy. It's something different on the island. Cons: It is Caribbean dishes cooked a different way. Judging by the spices, the people who cook the food are from Eastern Africa, which is okay. It's just not from the Caribbean. If you are from the islands I will warn you now, tell yourself it is not Caribbean food. You might like it.

I unfortunately did not like their food at all! The jerk chicken's taste was sooo not good at all,rice was undercooked vegees tasted really bad! I don't know if they just didn't have someone who knows how to cook Jamaican good that day, but it was bad! My mother; my brother and I all bought the food that day, and it was horrible!
