Great restaurant! However, I used takeout.

I got the steak and rice and fries. I didn't get a steak knife, but those in my group who were having seafood had a steak knife. I hope if I travel from Poconos again to Newark, I will be hooked up on the visit. If you park across the street, remember that you are on a one-way street so make a left when you exit and look out for drivers going the wrong way on purpose and by accident.

Excellent Portuguese cuisine! I had the steak and it was fantastic. Topped with an egg and ham it was so juicy and seasoned just right!

Just came here for a quick bite with my mom. Love this company and have been to many of their restaurants and supermarkets. Always good to have food from home. Viva Portugal!

We were greeted as soon as we entered. The waiter were friendly and professional. The food was delicious and amazing flavor. We had Calde Verde soup 🍲 and seafood pasta in wine sauce.

Every time I come here to eat, it's always a good time, but last week I had an event, an important celebration. I worried I would have to plan every single thing on my own, but that wasn't the case, I was assured all would be taken care of and they did not disappoint. From day one to the day of, they were there to assist me in every way possible. The staff was the best group of people I've ever dealt with- Mela, Isabel, Juliana, Santiago and the rest of the group went above and beyond all expectations, and I honestly can't thank them enough. Everything went as planned, the food was amazing, and we all had such a great time. Recommend booking your event here 100%

Coming from a Portuguese home, it is quite disappointing. I don't know why Alentejana meat is dipped in sauce, you can almost make a soup with the amount of sauce it has, in addition to contaminating the entire food because not even the potatoes are worth eating after being dipped, they look like porridge (1/ 2 inches of sauce is no joke). I ate it a lot in Portugal and not once did it have 1% of the amount of sauce that this has, it's not even normal to have sauce (and just look for images on the internet, not even one has sauce). Change the name to soup because this cannot be done with the food or the customers! In addition to the fact that the meat is not good because it can be seen that it is super tough. Conclusion I'm going to feel sick because of the sauce because if you think it's too much, eat it and after a few hours tell me how you feel for the love of God. However, not everything is bad, packaging 5*

Excellent experience! The cuisine and drinks are of high quality, but the real difference is the impeccable service. Isabely, Erica and Isabel were remarkable, recommending the dishes and drinks that best suited my taste. Furthermore, they offered exceptional support throughout the visit. I highly recommend it!

Excelente lugar y comida deliciosa

The food was delicious, well pleased with this choice. The food is also large portions so be prepared to bring leftovers home. The atmosphere is nice. There was a live band playing. I could still talk with my friends and have a good conversation. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. Anything we needed, they help with. I am not overly familiar with Portuguese Cuisine. This was a good place for me to start.

The bartender dont belong there, she ignored our presence, we have to asked her 3 times for a pitcher of sangría

Before the renovations they had a good atmosphere and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We decided to go see the renovations and see if they had anything new on the menu. We got there and the restaurant was very slow, didn’t have many people, and the staff weren’t very welcoming. We went to sit and the guy asked if anyone wanted wine (only four out of nine of us drank wine). The guy didn’t ask if anyone wanted any other drinks. There were a lot of mosquitoes around our table and we left all bitten. Then we got the food and it was okay nothing out of this world, the staff rarely check in with us. We then got the check and for the food that we got and the atmosphere it was too expensive. About 2 minutes of us leaving and going to the parking lot across the street the guy waves us down staying they gave us the wrong check. We go back inside and the server grabbed the cash that he had threw it on the bar top and starts yelling “you guys gave us less money then the check. I counted and it was wrong, you count the money” I told him to count again because we made sure to put the correct amount. He counts again and I see that he didn't count one of the $20, so I told him to count again. He recounts the money and then looks at us and says “oh you did give the right amount, my fault”. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family.

Excellent food and service. The chicken was tender and the flavor out of this world. I could cut my chicken with a fork. The black beans were seasoned to perfection. The veggies was awesome Rice was great. Not to mention the bread and olives we could not get enough. The shrimp's were also excellent my brother ate all of his shrimp which he seldom does. The gave a lot of shrimp it was deveined. The best part was the waiter Carlos if you get him you will be blessed. He has such a good spirit he will make you smile. He did not make one mistake. I never had a waiter that was so attentive. He deserves a raise. I can't say enough about that Waiter. He sets a high mark for this restaurant having someone like him. He alone besides the food will make you come back.

This was not a good lunch , the fire alarm ruined the whole lunch , the meat was super salty and there was way too much food for 1 person , in my opinion they should charge a more reasonable price and give smaller portions , or let you know before you ordered, no pictures on the menu either 😕 On the positive side the black beans where great 👍

Haven’t been here in a while and it’s not the same. The meat came out way too salty, and no flavor in the rice. They will have to definitely increase the quality like how it was before for me to come back.

Service is friendly and the flavors are delicious. But as a Portuguese-American raised in this neighborhood, I find portions are an exaggeration of what an individual can or should eat and the prices have risen to the point that I can't eat a meal without shelling out lots of cash. I think portions should be smaller and prices should be more accessible and I'm sure no one agrees so go ahead and enjoy, I just see how this could be better.

The daily specials are absolutely delicious. I have never run out of delicious options. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I always ask for Marcela, who is very attentive. Pricing is incredibly affordable, and it feels like a family place at lunch. Highly recommended.

This place is always so consistent. And to have such a large lunch and wine for 13 bucks just doesn't feel right lol.

I booked this restaurant together with my goddaughter for her mother’s retirement party because it’s very well located specially for those who work at the international liberty Newark airport in Newark, nj . Well at the beginning everything was very slow and I even got up and asked for the waiter/ waitress assistance but once the amazing appetizers started coming out I was very delighted. The package we chose included the appetizers ( garlic shrimps, Portuguese sausage, calamari and clams.) Then the choice of the main course was amazing ( paella, paella valenciana, chicken Marsala, steak, salmon) even the dessert choice ( flan, creme brûlée, chocolate mouse, rice pudding) they were all delicious options and great portions. So if you are in Newark, NJ please go and eat there.

A wonderful Portuguese restaurant in downtown Newark. Anything from the sea comes highly recommended, and very freshly sourced. A classic, old-school institution in the neighborhood.

If you want authentic Portugese food in an elegant but inclusive atmosphere this is your place. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. Try any of the chef's specials, they are fresh and marvellous.

Excellent food, dessert, and service. My Rotarian friends and I from Rotary Club of Newark, NJ, go there sometimes for a meeting or just to get together for libation. We have always been well taken care of.

Reservé este restaurante junto con mi ahijada para la fiesta de jubilación de su madre porque está muy bien ubicado especialmente para aquellos que trabajan en el aeropuerto internacional de Newark en Newark, nj. Bueno, al principio todo fue muy lento y hasta me levanté y pedí ayuda al camarero / camarera, pero una vez que empezaron a salir los increíbles aperitivos, me quedé encantado.  El paquete que elegimos incluía los aperitivos (camarones con ajo, salchicha portuguesa, calamares y almejas). Luego, la elección del plato principal fue increíble (paella, paella valenciana, pollo Marsala, bistec, salmón), incluso la opción de postre (flan, crema br Le, mouse de chocolate, arroz con leche) todas eran opciones deliciosas y raciones excelentes. Así que si estás en Newark, NJ, por favor ve y come allí.

Siempre he sido un gran fan de este restaurante. Llevo muchos amigos y familiares aquí a lo largo de los años. He estado viniendo aquí desde 2001, y siempre espero comer en Casa Seabra. Siempre me gusta el servicio, y los vinos son geniales. Las comidas son muy sabrosas, y he tenido de todo, desde los platos de marisco hasta el pollo asado. Hay tantos platos buenos, como papas fritas, arroz y verduras. El pan también es genial. Los precios son geniales, y las porciones son grandes. El único problema es el estacionamiento, porque el estacionamiento se llena rápidamente. Deberías estar preparado para estacionar gratis en una calle cercana.

Authentic Portuguese food and fantastic wines. Excellent seafood, meats, and rice dishes Bring your appetite because the portions are quite large. In fact, we took a doggie bag home and had lunch for 2 days. We highly recommend Casa Seabra.

Pollo asado no tenía sabor, la presentación fue agradable. Aperitivo de pulpo tenía principalmente cabezas y termina. El servicio fue tan lento que pensamos que habían olvidado nuestro pedido.

Casa Seabra has been in existence for many years. Also known as Mediterranean Manor it has several rooms including the restaurant with a large bar. The largest space hosts a number of community events and today was packed with one of those events. The service was efficient and the food ok and plentiful

After dropping my son and his family off at Newark Airport for their flight home, I darted into Newark to get some things at a CVS and noticed this place across the street just as I realized it was time for Lunch. Seems there are a number of Portuguese eateries in the area so there must be a Portuguese community much like the one in the Providence, RI area. Regulars -- all men in their 30s or 40s -- belly up to the bar: active conversation up and down while no one seems to be watching the sports screens churning everywhere overhead. Lunch specials with soup, a drink and an enormous entree (at least four times what I could comfortably eat) were just $14. Tasty and fresh, although my cod was a bit too salty. The place feels. Comfortable and inviting and service is prompt and attentive.

My wife we’re near Newark and did a quick search on restaurants near the area. We found Casa Seabra and since we love European cuisine decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise everything was delicious from the Octopus we pick as appetizer to the mouth melting seafood Paella . Service was very good as well . For dessert we decided to share chocolate mousse...wow...so good ! I highly recommend you to give this pace a try. We will come back again for sure

My wife and I were near Newark during lunch time and decided to eat in the area. I did a quick search of near by restaurant and found Casa Seabra. What a great choice this was , everything was delicious from the bread , the octopus we chose for appetizer and the seafood paella which was unbelievable. For dessert we decided to share a chocolate mousse...OMG, it was a great choice , flavorful , not too sweet, perfect! So next time you are in the area , stop by Casa Seabra...we will, for sure come back again
