I came across the place by accident -- stopped inside to and tried the hash browns, potatoes, eggs, grits, mac n cheese, and fruit punch. Everything tasted good and was priced well -- the service was friendly and the space is very simple. It is more of a takeout place as it is located in the flea market plaza. A nice spot to get well seasoned food!

Ordered through doordash and never received nothing due to this restaurants bad timing smh one min its ready in 10min next its 20min smh advertise that your food takes longer than usual..

Was going to order here but after reading the reviews and the owners lack of accountability I rather not to.. how do you get multiple reviews saying customer service was bad and yet you say it’s not your team fault…

Walking into the restaurant there was no one present to say hi, hello, welcome or anything. I had to say hellooo only to be encountered with a female whose demeanor is horrible. I did NOT order anything, I was there to pickup an order. I watched how another customer came in and asked her what all was on their menu and she spoke with attitude. The dude turned around and walked out. Black owned businesses have to do better with their customer service skills.

Philly Burger was good, but the amount of fries was lacking in relation to the price... CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AF!!! I don't know the lady's name, but her demeanor is not welcoming at all... Idk how they stay in business & keep the lights on in this place with her attitude... I love to support black-owned businesses, but I also will call them out if there is room for improvement & THERE IS MUCH NEEDED! It's really a shame 'cause they could make MUCH MORE PROFIT w/a few small changes in their business practices... #BeBetterDoBetter Response to owner: NEVER said I ordered food TODAY (3/26/2024), so Idk how you thought you saw me in the lobby of your establishment! The food is so good here and the price is reasonable!

I order through DoorDash the Food was salty and over cooked I called in to TY she told me to bring the food back and they will fix my problem when I got to the restaurant the owner was very rude and disrespectful in my face telling me nothing wrong with his food and he will not be giving me my money back as I was explained to them over and over what’s the problem the got angry and hostile towards me TY as a woman she sat there and allowed this over 6ft man get in my face about food I paid for and didn’t like and this what happen when you support black owned business not to forget I have no transportation I had to take public transportation to get there waste more money and time if you eat here you support man disrespecting women and a woman who comfortable with it

Today, I was in the area and decided to give Chef Yank a try. It did not disappoint. I was able to get a meal and drink for only $9 because of the lunch specials they do which I thought was a great deal. The food took a little while to be cooked, but this an be expected when everything is perfectly cooked to order. The lemonade I ordered was also some of the best I’ve had. From start to finish the service was great. I’ll definitely be ordering more from here to support this incredible small business

There's not enough good things to say about Chef yank. I literally order here weekly and the food always hits differently. This spot is no joke! In my humble opinion, this has to be a must visit on any Miami itinerary. From the fried fish to the mouthwatering chicken, everything at Chef Yank is stellar. My favorite is the fried chicken wing special. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of crunch. Service is fast and the staff were very friendly. My food was prepared quickly, and accurately. If you're trying to get some well seasoned food this is the place to visit.

I use to love coming here but the service kept getting worse everytime i dont understand how they have a had a business for so long. The lady who is always attending in the front honestly hater her job and should not be working in customer service

The fried ribs here are delicious... without a doubt!! However be prepared to WAIT! The wait here was absolutely ridiculous. I with 2 friends order fried ribs, wings and shrimp... we waited almost an hour and there were no other customers. Was the food great? Yes! But being on vacation, I dont have an hour to waste waiting on food.

Customer service and first impressions are a MUST for me, homegirl TY at the counter must've had a bad day, her cust. ser sucked!!! If the food is good, she make me not want to come again!! You NEVER KNOW WHO YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE, treat EVERYBODY with respect💯💯💪💪

Chef Tank's is the place to go! Their conch and fries, Chicken wings with "Loaded Fries" (I recommend the Hood Wings) are on point. In fact, all the things that I have tried was on point! Hats off to you Chef Yank's!

The food is OK . I REALLY wanted this to be my spot but it was just OK. The Fish & Chips and mac n cheese was 16$ but it was flavorful. Not worth going out your way, but If your in the hood this is a good spot. Maybe I ordered wrong thing. Its buried in the back of a alot of hallways ... you gotta really look for it

Customer service great food is to fresh and grits need to be more season.

The food is decent and of good quality. The area outside and around the restaurant is questionable. The wait time for your food can also be excessive. Overall its a good place.

Visit place twice for breakfast grits not season at all but stay friendly. I wish they had smoked link sausages.

Someone brought me food from here once and it's ok to me. The fries were basic and my wings weren't fried hard. They were very soggy. The fried conch was ok. The sauce that it came with helped the flavor of it. It wasn't seasoned enough to me. I would like to give this place another try and go and order myself.

Its okay i had the chicken and hambuger. But drinks is pure liquid diabetes. And the customer service is not that good.

Best food in town i love their conch and fries and the hamburger is awesome i come in here and buy food from them all the time and the chicken wings is to die for. I want to try their oxtails but i can never catch them when they be making that but i will catch them one day. Everything that's on his menu is the truth especially his salads. When you come in there to eat the food is goi g to stick to your ribs and have you full and satisfied when you leave. I will be going there in the morning

Great little restaurant on the rise.

Waited an hour for wings and loaded fries. There was only 2 people in front of me. They also take orders through doordash, postmate and uber eats. 1 chef was in the kitchen on a Saturday. Suggestion: Don't come as a walk in , call and order 30 min before. Other than that wings and fries were good. Can't complain about the food , everything was fresh and satisfied my appetite.
