Being a chilango from Mexico City I was gladly surprised with the quality and atmosphere of the place, I highly recommend huaraches sopes and gorditas they are so tasty, Memo the owner is a great cooker and businessman looking forward to see his restaurant grow!

My GO-TO spot when I want mom and pop type style Mexican food!!! Cannot beat the $5 chimichanga every Thursday!!! Insane deal!!!! And soooo delicious!!!!

We eat here regularly but I totally forgot about $1.25 taco tuesday... heads up..tacos are mini tacos but yummy

Easy to find; good prices; very friendly owners. 1st time here for the 3 of us & it was excellent! The salsa was ok, but the guacamole was perfect! We had the Alambre-3 tacos, Asada Chimi, & the Asada Quesadilla. Portions were very large & we all got to take home leftovers. Thank you & we’ll be back!

Food was as authentic as it gets for Mexican eating. Reminds me like in the south west region of the USA where Mexican culture is most popular. Service was great and food was ready in about 15-20 mins. So you know orders are made fresh and not express. House made corn tortilla chips and salsa was extremely delicious. Store bought salsa taste nothing like Chilangos salsa. Offer all the Jarritos soda flavors and american a few American coke sodas, and of course the classic Mexican Coke. The restaurant features a variety of Mexican historic photos around the walls. Just wish the location was larger to have more customers to enjoy the dine in experience. Will definitely come again.

Amazing authentic Mexican food!!

Been eating here for more than 7 years. Food is always great, but the service is outstanding. I usually get the milanesa or carne asada meals. Only drawback is that they really don’t use enough salt for my liking, but most of the clientele is older, so I get it. Very inexpensive and worth it every time.

We stumbled upon this restaurant tonight and had such a great experience. The man at the front was very kind, and the food was delicious. Fresh and warm chips, salsa and queso. The Mexican tacos and quesadillas were DELICIOUS! We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food experience, this is the place to go!

Very reasonable and food is good

We usually do carry out. They have a small eating area in front that’s clean. The jalapeños poppers are great. I also like the chorizo tacos.

I tried their asada taco and asada burrito it was horrible. I was very disappointed. The steak tasted like it was boiled in water, no grill marks, or flavor. I'm from Texas I've tried tacos that aren't the best in florida but this one was the worst. They need to step it up.

Great place to get authentic Mexican food.

My wife and I dined in and ate here for the first time today, and it was a stellar experience! Service was on point, and we both loved the self-serve fountain option. I got the carnitas Mexican style combo while my wife got the Al Pastor combo Mexican style, soooo good. Both tacos were big and full potions, the plate with rice and beans was heaping and there was plenty of sauce options provided to kick up the heat. We finished with a flan, and my wife said it was literally the best flan she’d ever had. So happy we drove by and saw the banner for this place, we both work from home on alternating days so I expect this spot to be a regular lunchtime staple for us!

Most of these reviews have to be fake. This is BLAND food. We had the sopas (store bought "shell"), flautas (unseasoned chicken and soggy) and Mexican taco (unflavored, dead looking carne asada). The rice tasted like the metal container they held it in and the beans were soupy. We ordered online to go. Would not recommend this place unless you like no flavor food. At least nothing was spoiled.

I'm a huge fan of checking out hole in the wall place but this place was THE WORST tacos I have ever had. Food had no flavor and steak was dry and rubbery. The waiter disappeared and forgot what we ordered!.I would not suggest this place to ANYONE! Taco bells would have been better!

A lot of the stuff is frozen or from a can. If you cook at home often you can tell. There’s almost no spice or flavor on anything. It the kind of food you give to your grandparents, to not offend their taste buds.

I think it’s “good enough” for people who clearly don’t know authentic Mexican food in the Winter Springs area. Perhaps they’re saying that it’s authentic because it’s family owned but the meat is so dry, the shrimp is tiny and rubbery. These dishes would not be acceptable in Mexico.

I love everything about this place, the food was great and the people were so nice A friend of mine kinda broke the soda machine (again, we are so sorry about that) and they were so nice and understanding throughout the whole ordeal

Chilangos had been around for quite some time now. Their food is fresh everyday so flavorful. Everything made from scratch I've tried so many things on the menu and want disappointed in not one of them. They owners are so polite and amazing. I had a bad experience there not too long ago. They put signs out advertising 1/2 price burritos so I order a burrito when I went to pay she charged me full price saying it was the day before, when I informed her the signs were still there she told the guy working with her to remove them. I thought that was very poor customer service. I should have left everything but I was in a rush so I wound up paying. I will never go there again. And I tell everyone I know not to go there That was just terrible how she argued with me and would not give the price when the signs were still out. And as you can see, they do not answer any of their reviews good or bad, they just don’t care. Will never spend money there again. They lost me and everyone I know as a customer. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I ordered the shrimp fajitas and a quesadilla along with rice and I am extremely disappointed. Food had no taste at all, didn’t taste like they even put salt on it. Zero flavor at all. $36 wasted.

Food was okay at best. There’s definitely better authentic restaurants around. Also after waiting 20 mins for an order it was wrong the portions are small think mini tacos . Again the food isn’t bad but it isn’t the best i probably won’t eat here again.

This is a great restaurant. My whole family was visiting from out of town, and the restaurant is not large, but they were so kind and helpful, and the food was excellent. I had been there priviously as well, and have always had a great experience. Highly recommended!

Ive been to mexican spots all over Florida throughout my life just moved up to orlando area and after a quick search i found chilangos with 4.8 stars. I thought id try it......do mexicans even work here??? the most tasteless mexican food ive ever had, the flautas were powder dry, the chimichanga was 90% rice and beans and soggy, the best thing was the jalapeño poppers which were obviously the same ones you can get frozen from walmart, the food came with a variety of sauces that all tasted simlar..watered down and not to mention nothing was even spicy, they are 100% paying peaple to give them 5 star reviews because theres no way anything here is authentic..

Possibly the worst mexican food in all of Florida. Food and sauces were bland, chicken was dry, jalapeno poppers were definantly frozen as they were watery inside. The flautas were nice and crispy. But again, dry chicken and bland. I hate leaving a bad review but this place was not worth ordering from and I wasted $45 on it. I was so surprised to see this place has high ratings and then was so extremely disappointing. We are use to delicious authentic mexican food. This was NOT it.

As someone who was born and raised in Mexico, these were hands down the most authentic tasting tacos ive ever had since moving to Florida, definitely going to be coming here whenever I crave tacos!!

Just ordered via doordash, wanted to try something new! Read the reviews as I waiting for it to arrive, salsa was fresh and wonderful, queso was perfection but I did have a few concerns regarding freshness of the 1.) Chips & 2.) The taco shells, both were stale unfortunately, would've been pretty good if they were fresh. My next point was the seasoning, the beans were seasoned good but were almost a soup consistency, the rice and the steak on the Mexican street tacos were both underseasoned too, but still edible. 4 stars because they tried, but def some room to improve.

The best authentic Mexican place in the area! It’s more like Mexican street food, with very fair prices. Their tacos are $1 on Tuesday’s, their burritos and chimichangas are 50% off Thursdays! Excellent prices, amazing taste, and extremely authentic. If you’re looking to eat a lot of authentic, cheap, and delicious Mexican food then this is a must. I need more stars for this place. The food is the best Mexican I've ever had, and I've been to Mexico! You gotta go! pastole that I'd run you over for, tortas the size of footballs, and this incredible concoction of cheese and Mexican chorizo. Everything is homemade on the premises. It's so good I want to marry the owner, just for a weekend of fantastic Mexican home cooking!

My mother and I have an array of mexican restaurants under our belt that we have tried. Some bad ans some good. This place thought was amazing! It is definitely one of our favorites now. The horchata is delicious and the salsa verde is to die for! I ordered a quesadilla and my mom got two carne asada tacos Mexican style. This will be my go to place for mexican food from now on!

I had THE BEST customer service today when ordering takeout! And yes, those chicken tacos were delicious! This is only my second time ordering from Chilangos, but both times the food was delicious and there was a handwritten note of appreciation each time because they truly appreciate your patronage during these virus months. Back story: I was sad (SAD) when my old mexican place closed up years ago, and have not found another favorite. Barely even tried, like a widow honoring her dead husband. My co-workers and I, and my daughter and I, we all have missed our mexican meals together. Now I can't wait to bring all of them regularly to our new favorite. I know they will love it too! I highly recommend you try this family owned gem. I'm so glad I did. Please do all you can to support small businesses. They need it right now, more than ever. Shelly :)
