I recently moved to this area and only order Chinese food when I’m craving it, as a general rule. When I do get it, I usually order about $50 worth to last me a week so my craving is sated. I typically don’t order again for another few months- you know, when another craving hits. This place makes me crave it all the time. Seriously! I had the veggie fried rice and the first thing I noticed is the veggies are manageable. There aren’t entire “trees” of broccoli that take 4 bites to consume. And the best part about the rice is that it’s not greasy! I got the chicken with mixed veggies and the chicken with mushrooms and both were delicious. The spring rolls were perfectly fried- they weren’t too dark and crispy on the outside and weren’t mushy on the inside. This place makes me crave their food more often, especially considering it is very clean and the staff always have a smile and make you feel welcome. This is my new go to for Chinese.

Old school Chinese takeout run by the family. They had everything you would expect including the ubiquitous sign above the counter with pictures of the food. Reminds me of eating Long Island takeout with the family on a Sunday night in 1989. They were attentive & efficient. I really enjoy places like this. There are so few restaurants left that are run by the family.

Maggots in the food! Used to be good but its soooo unsanitary now. We had maggots literally IN our wings from this place. I'm traumatized.

I have tried almost every Chinese restaurant in Kissimmee before finding China Gourmet and the wonderful family behind the counter. From the best fried scallops and dumplings to the extremely generous portions of fresh meats and vegetables. I recently asked if I could get 2 roasted ducks. A week later I received a call. My roasted ducks were ready for pickup.! The restaurant my appear to be a hole-in-the-wall, but, the food and service is most assuredly Five Star.

Hard to find good Chinese food in Florida, but they exceeded in delivering this. Great egg rolls and fried dumplings, and love the friendly staff. My go-to spot.

Love this place!! Excellent food! Customers' service always goes above and beyond. Family Restaurant, they all treat you nice and warm welcoming.

Would give zero stars if that was physically possible. Overpriced. Dumplings tasted like a grease filled bag, chicken lo mein was cross contaminated with fish. When we called to discuss the issue and request a refund they argued that there was 100% no way there could be any cross contamination. My husband is only allergic to fish/shellfish and immediately upon taking his first bite he said it tasted fishy and his throat started itching. He spit it out and said something was wrong. The only thing “ok” about this place were the stale prepackaged fortune cookies. The fortune we got was “Don’t scrap everything! See what you can salvage” which must be what they do with their food. Go spend your money elsewhere.

Really fast service. The food is super delicious. They don't speak Spanish. Attention and customer service is excellent.

I've been a customer for over 10 years. I've moved to three different central florida cities and always come back for the food. It's consistent, delicious and reasonably priced. I always get either broccoli in garlic sauce or chicken wings with Pork fried rice, extra onions and it's always delicious. My husband loves the boneless ribs. The family (owners) are always happy to see you and the small restaurant is always clean. I give it 5 stars!

China Gourmet is located in kissimmee ,Orlando, Fl,an average Chinese buffet restaurant. You can eat everything in just $10 to $15. Which includes soups 🍲, fruits, lots of Chinese food, and a variety of sushi 🍣 ice cream 🍦. The ambience is okay,food is just good, but overall, it is a good experience.

We ordered take-out on our way back from Universal. The owner was friendly, warm and very helpful. The food (egg rolls, crab rangoon, Hunan chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken) was hot, fresh, cooked perfectly and perfectly seasoned. All of the ingredients were very high quality. If we lived closer, we'd definitely be regulars. Very highly recommend!

This place is scrumptiously good! 😋The egg rolls are like NY style! The food was off the chain! This is so far the BEST Chinese food you’ll ever get! It’s hidden in the loop. But once you eat here your gonna keep coming back!!

We had the honey chicken, boneless spare ribs, and fried dumplings. Food looked fresh & appetizing & tasted even better... not greasy & stinking of old oil like other places. The staff was super nice. The joint was clean & didn't smell like old food.

Came home really late from the gym on Monday and they still took my order even though it was 10 minutes after its closing time :) The family was cleaning up and even helped me get in because the floor was wet (P.S. the place was REALLY clean compared to other Chinese restaurants I've been to, like they actually mop and wipe thoroughly and everything). Plus it was late and I didn't expect much, but the food came out amazing and was such a big portion for the price! I would be coming back :)

I love this place. My boyfriend and I have been getting takeout from here for 2 years. I've never had an issue unline other reviews. It seems they have their roach issue under control according to their last health inspection. Still not super comforting that people have gotten food poisoning and found roaches in their food, but it's one of the better places compared to what's in the area.

The food was so nasty pepper steak wasn’t done right and the bbq boneless spear ribs to chewy,too thick and dry.

Sign said they close at 8 pm. I got there at 15-20 till 8pm and girl behind counter asked if I was picking up to go order. When I said no she told me they were closed.

Do not eat here. I was eating my food with my toddler and found a roach! I called them and they well do you want us to make you a new one? I said NOOO they didn’t even wanna give me my full refund. This is just horrible and disgusting.

I found this place by accident one Monday because my normal Chinese restaurant where I'd get delivery from was closed. So now I've ordered here a couple times. Used to go to China wok for many years. But I've now decided I'm changing my family to this Place . The food is a little more expensive. Than china works. But it's so worth it. The food is so flavorful and always taste fresh. The delivery guy is a sweet heart. And delivery is fast. You gotta try this place. You won't be disappointed.

Racist cooks. We came in for some lunch specials and my husband knows other languages and when we were waiting on our food her heard the one women who takes the orders very young looking with a older skinny cook have a order ready which happened to be chicken wing dinner I guess the cook said tell them we have watermelon. We didn't say anything we just walked out and didn't even get the food we ordered. I was so disgusted I think they knew that my husband understood his comment cause he they gave my husband a shock looked as he greeted them a goodbye in thier language and we left.

I wish I can reverse my selection of going here. We got extremely sick from the food. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE 4 STARS AND GOOD COMMENTS the food is tasteless and trashy.

I order from them frequently, was always happy with them. Well I made a pretty big order, over $100.00 I was unpacking the food that was packed in a box. A cockroach was on top of my food. I called them up to complain and the manager says to me ....how do I know that the roach 🪳🪳🪳 didn't come from my house? Instead of apologizing, they insult me. All I wanted was accountability and apologize or I wouldn't be writing this negative review. However she did tell me she would document this so the next time I order I would get a discount. Imagine finding a roach in your food, and order from there again....they need a new manager.

Consistently and easily the best Chinese food around. I drive a distance just to order from here because the quality never fails to disappoint. All local spots are nowhere near the quality of taste with this place. Will continue to make the drive for some great Chinese food.

It will fill your belly for a cheap price. They only do take out now. But, as small as it is I don't see how you could ever sit down and eat in there! I also felt horrible for the staff it was 93 that day and the AC wasn't working. Still trying to find good Chinese after Mi Sushi didn't survive COVID 😔

I appreciate a family ran restaurant 1st of all! Mom is the man of women! This mom can cook and she does it right! It is the best of many Chinese places I have had. It's now the ONLY place I go!

The food was meh and I got sick after eating it and I still feel a bit sick 2 days later The lady misquoted me the price by forgetting to add the delivery fee and tax which is no big deal, except the delivery driver had a BIG attitude when he told me the price was 31 and I told him.she said it was 26. He kind of showed me the receipt than pulled it away. Didn't apologize about the confusion. I am way too nice because I still tipped him 5+ dollars. Won't happen again....if I give this place another try. Doubt it. The flavor just was off on the beef and veggies. The dumplings had a really weird flavor too. The seasoning didn't taste good at all. The chicken wings were pretty good though. I only ate a third of the food and trashed the rest. A waste of 37$.

China Gourmet has been a staple in our family home for twelve years. We love ordering China Gourmet for lunches and dinner. I am usually the #1 fan, and I am always happy to suggest us order delivery or to pick-up. We have tried many of China Gourmet’s dishes, but my absolute favorite is Honey Chicken with White Rice. I always ask for my Honey Chicken to be extra crispy, and it makes such a difference - I also add in some salt. Our family favorite is Pepper Steak with Onion with Pork Fried Rice - we have ordered this dish so many times, even to share with our visiting family members and friends. Even my grandmother who has come to see us from Cartagena, Colombia has had it, and was very impressed, and she is not easy to please. To those reading, whether you’re looking for a new authentic Chinese take-out experience or you’re a regular customer, I highly recommend China Gourmet due to its consistency, its dependability, its commitment to fresh and delicious food in a reasonable time frame, but also it is run by a wonderful, kind, loving, and welcoming family. The Lunch Menu is a great way to try China Gourmet for a cheap price, along with a side or a drink. Sometimes, it’s just nice to see the same faces. I know them, and they know me and they’re always happy to see me: Jessica, Honey Chicken!, the Disney employee who comes by after a long day of work in her uniform. I must also mention (and applaud) that China Gourmet set up an efficient system during the pandemic to keep their customers, as well as themselves, safe and healthy. I am always glad to come by and see them busy, and I’m always excited to sit and wait in my car, as well as seeing many other customers parked in their cars too. I can’t help myself, and start eating when I get my order. There will be a day where I will be moving on: quitting Disney, applying to graduate school, and being on my way, leaving Orlando behind. One thing that I will most certainly look back and miss, and that is China Gourmet.

Delicious Chinese food takeout. Easy menu to look up online. I was a bit snackish and just went for appetizers and they did not disappoint. Pork egg roll was delicious, shrimp roll was also very good but a touch greasy. The beef on the stick was excellent. So tender and flavorful. Definitely recommend, although I did not explore the entrées

As for their prices, you most definitely get more bang for the buck than our local Chinese restaurant -- but here, you have to spend over a certain dollar amount for delivery therefore I found myself ordering extra food & drinks I didn't really want or need. 3 STARS
