My wife and I like that she can order dishes with cashews instead of peanuts. When you eat in they have other dishes posted on the walls you can order which is beyond the menu. You can order different degrees of spiciness.

In term of food, there is no other Chinese restaurant in Albuquerque that is anywhere near as authentic and good as this place. Yes, I've been to all of them. Neo Szechuan is a good alternative if you live on the other side.

Usually my GoTo place but today it has fallen short to say the least. Egg drop soup is flavorless (hot thick water). Mushroom chicken was all Mushroom no veggies and little chicken (also very light on flavor). Shrimp/Lobster entree... FLAVORLESS, BUT had a lot of shrimp. Pork lo mean I'd say 2.5-star but still pretty light on flavor and little to no pork. Waited all day to be disappointed

Very pricey. Not my usual stop but I was hoping to enjoy some dinner with my kids. At first glance at the menu I see that every item is sold separately even when you buy a dinner entree (Dine in). You don't get any soup unless you pay for it and if you want fried rice, it's $2 more than the plain white rice which is also a small amount. Other Chinese restaurants serve soup with their entrees along with a either a spring roll, egg roll, or wontons at no additional cost. Drinks were $2 a soda CAN! Had we stayed, it would've costed me an arm and a leg and no room for tip.

Sadly the server yelled at us while taking the order. It wasn't the fact of a language barrier, because even I understand that, and that is perfectly okay. It was the fact she didn't like substitutions, replacing meat items as vegetarian instead.

I tried this restaurant based on radio ads. What a disappointment! The food at Panda Express tastes better! I had to ask 3 different people for a glass of ice water before I got it! I will not return!

The place doesn't look great, but that's how you know it's going to be good. American Chinese, as well as true authentic. Order from the little signs on the wall for the real deal.

The food wasn’t bad but it was so hyped up to me that I expected it to be amazing. After the first couple of bites the food went from good to mid.

So glad we finally found a Chinese restaurant that we love in ABQ! We both prefer to eat vegetarian, and hadn't found a place that really hit the spot until Chopstix...it is some of the best Chinese food we've had stateside. They have a good deal of selection for tofu dishes and cook it so very well - perfectly crispy without being overdone. We spent a couple weeks in China some years back and both agree that there is a flavor in these dishes that remind us of some of our favorite meals there, which isn't common, at all.

The hostess is very attentive & courteous. The food is delightful too

It was alright, the menu was a bit limited and the egg rolls were tiny.

The main dish was delicious, but my low review comes from being lied to... I ordered a hot tea and noticed the spout had dried black stuff on it that ended up in my tea cup. After pointing it out, I was told it was just dried tea from a broken bag and they got me a "new" teapot. It was definitely the same one, just scraped out, and it was definitely not dried tea. It looked like mold. I understand not having something clean and offering something else but to lie and try to cover things up is not acceptable. The main dish was delicious but I did not drink the tea since more black chunks fell out into my tea cup. Definitely not going here again.

Walked in 40 minutes before close, server was extremely rude, making it clear she was not happy we came to the retraunt at that time. She was rude enough that we left.

The best traditional Chinese in town. Order off the the wall, and not the menu.

Best egg foo young that I've tasted in ABQ. Eat in is pleasant, clean & easy. Take out is polite also.

Really enjoyed our lunch of Cashew Chicken and Twice cooked Pork and it was a very good value. Even the egg drop soup seemed rich in flavor. I am sure dinner menu will be just as good and look forward to trying more in the future. Service was pleasant. Atmosphere, not fancy, but comfortable.

My husband and I come here at least once a week. I am good friends with one of the waitresses. I highly recommend ordering from the authentic Chinese dishes on the wall. Twice cooked pork (Chinese style with fatty pork belly) is a favorite. Definitely get the green beans. I lived in China for two years and their green beans remind me of my days there. Also the griddled cabbage dish is superb. Sour fish soup is another favorite. Love this place!

This restaurant does not serve Chinese food. Its dishes are highly breaded. I am Chinese and have lived and traveled all over China. Chinese dishes are not breaded, except perhaps some dim sum. Comments by Jackie Chan were written for the previous owners of Chopstix. This restaurant serves fakes!!!

I've chosen this place randomly while watching Breaking Bad. I hope that one day I'll visit your beautiful country and eat in this restaurant. Darya, Russia, Odintsovo.

I ordered the Dan Dan noodles, pork belly in soy sauce with fried rice. I'm not a big noodle guy but the Dan Dan noodles were really good. The soup broth was very flavorful. If you like noodles with a tiny bit of spice, this is the bowl for you! If I order this again, I will add a protein. I thought the prok belly was really good. I only like a little but of fat so I found myself cutting off some from the pork. But let me tell you, the pork is very tender!!! Fried rice was good, had that grilled/smokiness flavor. Went great with the pork belly. I wanted to order the pot stickers but I had so much food that I passed on them. Gives me a reason to go back. If you order what I had, you will have enough for left overs. Price for what I ordered was $32 Would highly recommend. I'm normally a broccoli beef guy was I wanted to order something I usually would not.

Delayed Reaction Syndrome best describes this place, and I wouldn't eat here if it was free. I picked up for someone else and waited over 30 minutes on an online order.. I won't do anyone any more favors anymore, they can get it themselves. Rude staff, and fake pleasantries

An extensive menu including rare items like chicken feet soup. The food was tasty and served hot. Friendly and accommodating waitress.

Not the same as I remember pre covid. Food has no flair. Cold in winter time. Rude waitress.

I'm always satisfied with this restaurant and I've been told it's one of the better places for dim sum and apparently it has Jackie Chans stamp of approval so there's that.

Chopstix is so great. The quality is reliably high, and I love that when you order their vegetable dishes, you aren't getting a little bit of what you ordered plus filler vegetables like carrot, onion, and bell pepper. Case in point: the eggplant in garlic sauce is just ALL EGGPLANT. So many wonderful vegetarian options, too. I love this place, and dining in to order the "special dishes" on the wall is a treat.

Excellent Chinese food!! Chopstix never disappoints, and doesn't fall into the trap, that Chinese food often does, of being all the same overcooked and over sauced. Our favorite dish here is the Mustard greens with tofu called the "Jackie Chan special". Yes it is named for the action star who loved to eat here while in Albuquerque shooting a movie! We have tried most of the menu and everything is delicious! The staff is friendly and service is quick. The food is consistently good time and time again!

Excellent food. Lunch specials are a good deal, with soup and egg roll. Chrysanthemum tea-yum! Nice staff. Back area could use cleaning up or another screen.

A true blessing for this city. The food was absolutely fantastic. Packed with flavor and piled onto the plates, every dish we ordered was finger licking good. The service was wonderful, everyone was attentive and kind especially to my three year old. Finally, an authentic Chinese restaurant I can visit regularly. The prices were fair and I couldn't find fault in the quality. As I walked to the bathroom I passed the kitchen and saw mounds of fresh, healthy produce being prepared as well as a gentleman filling and making dumplings by hand. No frozen veggies or frozen dumplings here for sure. Will definitely be coming back and I will make sure to suggest this restaurant to everyone I know. I wish they had a spot on Coors closer to Rio Rancho. But as it stands, it's worth driving 20-30 min to have my taste buds pampered. Stay awesome Chopstix family!

The food is beyond bland and greasy.

The food was absolutely delicious!! We had the Tao's chicken, Sesame chicken, and potstickers. Even my picky kid that doesn't like most foods ate the Lo Mein, Rice, and Egg Drop soup! So much delicious food for a good price!

Asked for extra rice, a bit stingy but I understand it’s all about the sales, noodles ok, rice is superb, overall good flavor.

The food here is very good. But the people who answers the phone are very rude. And the minute you walk in the door right away they ask for pickup. And when they're checking you out they don't tell you nothing like have a good day or have a good night just basically grab your card in do what they have to do with it. Specialty older lady she cannot be working here if you cannot treat the customer's right

Amazing hole in the wall traditional Chinese food.

I’ve been ordering delivery or take out from this restaurant almost every week for a few months now, and it’s great! I’ve tried several dishes, all very good. The soups are tasty, and everything tastes fresh and has lots of flavor. Most of the negative reviews seem to be about the unfriendliness of staff, but I don’t see it. I’ve always been welcomed and promptly acknowledged.

The worst place, the cashier lady don’t know what she doing! Just keep charging me after I paid for my meal she forgot to add this and that👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I've been coming here for years! What I love the most is that the food is authentic Chinese. Most Chinese restaurants just have Americanized Chinese food and that's it but not Chopstix! I recommend this establishment for everyone.

BEST. EGG. FU. YOUNG. EVER. That's all that matters. Everything else is amazing but I could live off the egg fu young. I usually get an extra container of the gravy just because it's the ambrosia of the gods. There is a reason why Jackie Chan eats here. It's not a rumor.

The food was just ok. However, the bathroom was downright NASTY. If I had seen the bathroom before I ordered I'd have left. To get to the bathroom you walk by where some of the food is in covered pots but you can also see the kitchen. Meat was in bags on the work surface. Shouldn't that stuff be stored in the fridge until you are going to use it?

Happy New Year of the Rabbit. For those of us who have traveled to New York, San Francisco, Honolulu, we understand that there is NO Chinese food in New Mexico. But just for kicks and giggles we went to this restaurant to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit. Shame there was no rabbit on the menu. Hahaha. From the many dishes on their extensive menu, our broth was full of mostly pepper taste and not much else. The mussels were not fresh, and rubbery and stale. Too bad. Four tiny shrimp and a few squid and a few fake fish dime sized circles with the bok choy. A real pitiful dish. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

After two visits, will find another Chinese restaurant. Sweet and sour chicken was tough and overcooked.

If i could give them zero stars i would. We are a family of 4. When we got there they were 2 tables free for groups of 6 or more people. And the waitress siad we couldent sit in the tables and we had to wait 45 min. and in the next 45 no one came to those tables .. we did not eat in that place because of the attitude of the waitress.

The General Tao Tofu is delicious. Great service too. Not busy on new years eve for lunch. Great lunch special! Please add more vegan options!

I shoulda read the reviews before coming. Rude all the way around. Went in 1 hour before closing for pick up, waited 45 Mins before I got my order. I saw my food sitting there thinking they were going to bag it. They kept avoiding it and acted like they needed to wait tables when there was only 2 tables sat. The food I ordered was dry even the rice, the potstickers barely had anything inside. And of course food was cold. Never again. Santa Fe location better and less expensive.

Food was way too salty and the dish I had and the one my father had, tasted the same?! Price wasn't bad but the food was!

There are several glowing reviews framed one the wall of the restaurant. Look carefully at the dates. They are from 2006. I had the lunch special with twice cooked mystery meat (supposedly pork). There was a lot of it and a lot of rice too. And at a tenner it was reasonably priced. However the taste was bland and the quality of the ingredients were poor. The egg drop soup tasted of salt to the max. Also, the waitress was rude and got offended when I asked for brown rice (which they don't serve). She clearly was not happy for whatever reason and was making sure everyone knew it. People claim that this is the best Chinese food in ABQ were born without taste buds. If you are looking for a quick, workman's lunch and don't care about taste, just want to fill your pie hole it is a decent value. Otherwise void it.

Ordered the combination Lo Mein, Jalapeno Chicken, and Eggs rolls. All of it was delicious! Reminds me of a place i would find in California. And the staff was very Friendly.Definitely gonna be our new spot!

The food is good. We love to eat at chopstick, but we don't like the woman server she's so mean. She doesn't know how to treat the customer's well.

Great Chinese food and even better staff. The gentleman remembered my order (modified to fit keto diet) from my first in person dining visit when I called for carryout a couple weeks later. I'm very impressed and the whole family loves this place!

Brought my mother here for her birthday today. She ordered the chicken and mushroom with steam rice me the beef noodle soup. When I received my meal it was very bland, no flavor at all. I asked to order something else for that reason and I was given attitude. I was going to just order what my mother got since I tried it and it was very good, but because of the attitude I decided against it.

The employees here are SO RUDE that it made me super upset. I was picking up and order and they shooed me away and a lady put her hand in my face and told me to go away. I haven’t ever experienced a restaurant so rude in my life. I was just asking for an ETA on a doordash. Never coming here again.

Food is great. Customer service is very poor, waitress slams plates, utensils, cups on table. Rudely and impatiently takes order and does not ask if food is ok or need anything else. Will not come here again.

Worst place ever!! Horrible service very very rude. Fist visit the Mongolian beef was dried out and food was cold, it was 30 minutes before close so I shrugged it off. Second time I decided to try again asked for some egg rolls and they told me the order total was not high enough very rudely. They’re only nice if your spending big money big family I guess. You want service and quality food? Go to Chens. Chens has way better food and you can order some egg rolls and not get turned away bc your total wasn’t high enough. Greedy

I got here at 3:50 for a To go order, the server said 'no lunch' but lunch ends at 4pm. She barely spoke English, I showed her the time on my phone and she walked away. Then another worker walked in and she spoke better English. She said lunch ended at 4, but I was there already 13 minutes. I was on my lunch break so I left.

We went in last night and had a great time! The food was incredible. They are very understaffed right now, which meant that service was a little slow, but the workers were still helpful and kind.

The sesame chicken was flavorful anddelicious, but the appetizers were a mixed review and that is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. The beef bon boa was too salty and heavily flavored like soy sauce. The chicken egg rolls were delicious! The potstickers had salty and sour meat inside thatbI did not enjoy.

Great place to eat authentic Chinese food. Not a big menu. Just very delicious good food. They do not fool around when they cook. Amazing dumplings and spring rolls. Sauce unbelievable! Medium size place with booths. Very nice a clean. Surprisingly located in a strip mall. Soups are wonderfully delicioso!!!!!! We had the beef, green bean and jalapeño dish with a great sauce going along with the dish. Prices were reasonable and well worth it. 👌

Staff was very friendly and eager to help. The food was made fast, and tastes delicious. This is absolutely the place to go if you’re looking for authentic Chinese food. The prices were excellent as well. You just can’t go wrong.

5 of us came in today! We all picked one entree to try and some appetizers. We loved everything. There was so many choices! Our favorite were the beef & glass noodles. The fried bread was a good dessert. Two of my kids are picky eaters and tried and loved each dish. The service was really fast and friendly. We loved the atmosphere and spinning table center which was perfect for sharing. Definitely recommend for a couple, family with kids or group of friends. The prices were fair for the massive amounts of food you get. 10/10 recommend.

Great, genuine-feeling menu with familiar favorites and true authentic options for the adventurous! Wonderful, kind staff and clean, bright space. I was excited for the neat menu items, and loved walking in to the smells of delicious cooking food - but next time I am asking for actual chopsticks! 😁
