I was never a fish and chips person in my life, as the ones I tasted were never that good. But I went to Newfoundland for vacation and tried so local ones and they were amazing! So I started going all around the Orlando area trying to find something close. After many restaurants either served an eh version, or even AWFUL versions, I am VERY happy to say this place was really good. It's about a 30 minute drive from my house, but it's totally worth it to get my fix.

This is the real-deal local restaurant, a true Clermont favorite, they have been here for years and the food is always excellent! Pictures speak for themselves, whether you're getting a sandwich or classic fish & chips, the portions are huge and the flavor is unbeatable. Gotta load up on the tarter and malt vinegar! Love the atmosphere and decor inside the shop, it's like you're stepping into the UK on the other side of the door. Hugely recommend for take out lunch or a big family dinner. Cheers!

New to the area. Tried Clermont Fish House..OMG! They did not disappoint... absolutely loved the haddock and chips. Christina was an amazing server .. charming .. very attentive and the atmosphere was inviting..been there twice now and I'll keep going back..soon they will know me as a regular! I order the grouper and chips which was the special .the grouper was way over cooked and portion was on the one small piece of fish had more fries than fish.the fish was the size of my palm of my hand and very thin. Needless to say my meal was 18.99 and drink was 3.00 plus tax and I left hungry..I will not return not worth eating here plus no service. They also didn't want to listen to my concerns..

Purchased take away for 4 , fish and chip and battered sausage and chips. Unfortunately not the best and definitely not traditional chippy style. Chips were deep fried frozen chips not chippy style with real potatoes and pretty dry and over cooked. Fish was ok but again was like frozen fish, was not fresh haddock . Sausage supper over cooked , batter was dark and again dry , very disappointing. Using sachets of salt and vinegar must be costly too just put it on the food like you’d get in chip shop guys! Have had take away from here few times over the years which has been ok not a patch on uk chippy but quality of food seems to have dropped. Really nice place inside too . Staff pleasant but do not understand uk accents, kept having to repeat myself which was annoying, considering owner is from uk.

My husband is a fan of the okra, while I particularly appreciate their UK beans, a taste of home from my six years living in the UK. It’s been wonderful to see Clermont Fish House grow and expand into the neighboring buildings, a testament to their success and popularity. The service remains fast and efficient, and despite a recent increase in prices and the removal of extras like hush puppies, the food quality has never faltered. Clermont Fish House continues to be a favorite for my family and me. The consistent quality and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout choice, even as we wish for more frequent opening hours. It’s a place that never disappoints and remains a cherished spot for delicious, authentic fish and chips.

Fish (cod) was excellent and reminded me of fish and chips I would get while living in London. The Scotch Egg was good but would skip next time. Service started great but the waitress disappeared for quite a while. Wasn’t able to get drink refills and waited a while for the check. Others around us sat for a while without being waited on after being seated. Will definitely try again just for the food. Hopefully the service was a glitch.

First, the people are the best kind of people. Welcoming, helpful, kind and friendly. Really appreciated that. The food was absolutely delicious. Hot, crispy magic! Had the Fried Mahi with hush puppies and a beef and onion pie with onion rings. Ohhh, the perfection of all of it made me so happy. The Sticky Toffee Pudding.. we took one home to have with some coffee and it was sublime. This is a fantastic place to eat, I am so glad they are here!

The food was good.. the batter of the fish was a little too hard for my liking the prices crazy 👀😳🤦🏾for the amount of food we got we got the fish and chips which consist of one foot-long fish real skinny that came with a fist full of fries, $14.00 and two fish tacos With some throw lettuce on it cut up two pieces of fish about 3-4 inches long about the same price 12 or $14 for the amount of food we received the price was a little too high. i’m gonna to give this place a second try I believe in giving it two chances. I will give an update…

Top 5 fish and chips I've ever had. Lots of interesting options for fish, too! The beer selection for British imports was pretty good to boot. Would recommend.

This was absolutely the best food I have had in a long while. The fried pickles had the right amount of crunch. Then the fried clam & chips were just as good. But the dessert sticky toffee pudding 🍮 just melts in your mouth it is absolutely delectable and everyone should try it.

Ok this spot! We have driven by this for so many years , saying we will pull over one day and check out this "hole in the wall." But THIS PLACE is NOT a hole in the wall. It's huge inside. They have so much UK sports memorabilia on the walls. They have the red telephone booths inside and outside for photos. They have a separate section for to go only and open seating for dine in. But most importantly, the fried fish here is WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!! EVERY PENNY!!! RUN DONT WALK HERE!!!

They have the BEST fish and chips on the planet!!! It's perfectly breaded crispy yet has real fresh fish that's tender on the inside. It's perfect. Their other menu items are great too. We tried the egg appetizer and it was actually really good! Definitely one of our favorite spots in town.

Cod and chips is fantastic as well as the sticky toffee dessert. Cod is extremely crispy and the French fries are some of the best I’ve had in the US. If you ask for well done fries they’ll actually make you well done French fries! They have a great selection of beers and the walls are decorated with soccer scarves and jerseys. Cannot recommend highly enough. 5 stars+

We had to park our camper right in front of the building. It wasn't that bad at all. We would go here again.

The food standards have slipped. The chips (fries) were like warmed up oven chips and the bread and butter used margarine and not butter. This hasn’t been the case on previous visits. The chips need to resemble British chip shop chips, not fries. This is a shame!

Arguably the best British pub food I've had in Central Florida. They actually have malt vinegar for fries, the fish is perfectly fried, and they have a good selection of British beers. The meat pies are great but fish and chips are the best around.

I had very good fried cod fish&chips from here. Fresh, not too salty (witch I appreciate because I shared it with kids). Ladies there was nice, I recognize half of the soccer teams from decorations 😂 . I had fish& chips in London and this was actually better. So, yeah, I recommend this nice place if you want to try a little bit from UK kitchen. (Didn't have time to took pictures, we ate it too fast😂)

Drove a long way, excited to get British fish and chips - as I’m British . Very disappointed , no flavour, rubbish and bland for both. The was fish cooked in oil that you could taste . Would not go again, if you are British give it a miss…. Went two years ago and was good . Not the case now 🙃🙁

Best fish and chips and the best soup in Orlando

Son and myself went for a late lunch. Not crowded,service was excellent as well as the food. Only drawback for me was the noise from the tvs and music which is hard on me wearing hearing aids.

Love this place!! They are always busy which tells me they are doing things right!! The food is authentic English recipes and tastes great. The staff are friendly and attentive. We travel 45 minutes to this establishment for an amazing and completely satisfying meal. You won’t be disappointed!!

These people know or order by now! Food is delicious, atmosphere is great and very laid back. Reasonably priced. My husband is from the UK and we were thrilled to move here & immediately find a fish n chips spot. Clam chowder: 10/10 Fried pickles: 10/10 Grouper sandwich and any of the fish n chip combos: 10/10

Friendly service. I ordered the fried cod sandwich, shrimp, fries, and keylime pie. The fish was a bit fishy for my taste but the shrimp and pie were pretty tasty.

My server was kind and attentive, atmosphere could use a little more comfort and definitely some actual dishware and utensils instead of throwaway. Having frequented many pubs in England and Scotland, I know what to look for. The food quality is pretty good, especially to be accommodated with my gluten allergy. My meal included the mushy peas I substituted for chips. Those were fine but such a tiny portion. And the fish portion was One piece, and so very small. This was an extreme disappointment as it was the “star” of the show. The experience could have been so much better.

Great hole in the wall place for fried fish and simple British fare. Can't wait for their pub in downtown Clermont to open in mid-May.

The food was awesome 👌 the waitress very kind. When I move there to Clermont we probably go one a week.

I absolutely salivate over the cod or grouper with chips. This is the best English style pub in the area, hands down. I've also tried the chef specials and the key lime pie which have never disappointed. My pup quickly mastered the art of begging with the aroma of fish and chips wafting about. My only complaint is that you're never open when I drive by or attempt to place an order online for delivery.

Best place! Ny hubby and I we are from Miami.... we doesn't have Fish&Chips :( Guys.... what ever you are doing... keep doing... everything taste amazing! And our waitress Brianna was super! For the whole experience..... 10 out of 10!

Accidentally found this place and what a great find! We used to think Epcot World Showcase has the best fish and chips but this little British pub style restaurant will have us going there from now on. A large menu selection for food and drinks. We chose the traditional cod fish and chips and toffee pudding with custard as dessert. They are fantastic and good portions size. Food came out fast, hot and delicious. Waitress is fast and friendly. Definitely recommend and will go back.

First visit. Very basic restaurant, no frills, plastic silverware, styrofoam cups. Food was good, but expensive for the amount you receive. Fish & chips (cod), one piece of fish, chips (fries), and two small hushpuppies for $15.99. Server was friendly. Another piece of fish and a couple more hushpuppies and it would be worth the price. This is a $12 meal, but not worth $16.

Fish and shrimp were great! Sides seemed greasy. Busy, busy place.

Didn't expect Styrofoam containers and plastic utensils, that's when I should have left as it was a sign. Mashed potatoes were lame, Mahi a local fish was tepid a tiny filet. Arnold palmer was mostly lemonade. Kimmie was nice and the table was clean. It's more of a sports bar than a seafood spot from my observations. Go for beer and games.

Had the special of the day and it made both my wife and I very ill.

Since this place has opened we have always made a point to get it as the food is typically very good and they have haddock. In addition I appreciate the fact that they are accommodating to my husband’s celiac disease and he is still able to enjoy the food there. However, I can no longer ethically support this restaurant as they won’t move towards sustainable take out containers and we always get take out. Every to go container is styrofoam. Until this is changed we will, and I urge you to, choose another dining establishment.

I’m from England, but have lived in the States for over thirty years. This is the ONLY authentic fish and chips I’ve ever eaten in this country. The fish batter is amazing, and the chips are perfect! The bangers are also spot on. Can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for REAL English fish and chips run, don't walk to this establishment.

Ordered through DoorDash 3 cod and chips with a side of coleslaw for $4. At $4 we thought it would be a cup of coleslaw and only got a tiny container about 3 tablespoons if I could guess. Fish was great I just wouldn’t order any sides again.

They served the largest piece of fish I have seen. Hot and crunch and was amazing after adding a little malt vinegar. Ashley was our server and she was super nice and brought our food within 5 minutes after ordering GE. This is not your ordinary fish and chips place, this is better! The food is good but if you place an order for delivery, your odds are extremely low the order will be right. After more than 2 years of giving this restaurant multiple chances, we’re giving up. 😞

I loved this place before the expansion but now I love it even MORE with the gorgeous new dining room. The fish and chips is still absolutely awesome and the fried fish sandwich is absolutely banger. The Key Lime Pie and the sides are great too. Parking lot is usually full and that's for a reason. Update: Cod and chips still awesome, hushpuppies are sweet and carby and wonderful. Not a huge fan of the fried shrimp, I'd just go with cod and chips. Pickup was speedy and covid safety is top notch with a barrier. Edit: Apparently it's been like 3 years since I updated this review. The fried shrimp actually rules. Don't listen to past me.

Always great food. We get the fish and chips (cod). The portionis so big that you could split it and add an extra side. The staff is exceptionally nice. Service is quick.

This fish house is great! Ordered take out and the chips was thick cut as it should! Fish was fully cooked and batter tasted like butter! Highly recommend the best fish house! All it needs now is some peas on my fish and chips!

My wife is British and she recommends coming here. I got the chicken curry pie and it tasted fantastic. It tasted fresh and housemade. Pineapple rings were for dessert and Had some canned vimto and football [soccer] was in the background. I am coming here again and I am from Orlando.
