Excellent ribs. Great service.

I come here whenever I'm in the area. The food is delicious and I really like there sides, not to many restaurants serve lima beans which are great. The sweet T is truly sweet and great. The servers are so nice and always checking up on you.

We were there for lunch and had a great time. Between five of us we had ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken, shrimp, slaw and fries. Joannie was our server and was a delight. She recommended several combo options to ensure we got the best bang for our buck. The service was fantastic as was the food. Thanks Joannie. Not bad for a New Yorker. 😁🤣

Ribs are good, reasonable prices, nice setting

Oakwood is our go to restaurant for consistently good food, awesome service and reasonably priced choices. Most of the sides do need to improve. The Lima beans, collard greens, baked beans and other choices seem to be right out of can. However, we go there for the ribs, salads and fish choices. The restaurant is clean but the carpet needs to be replaced. Although I am sure they have the carpet cleaned regularly it always looks dirty.

Went for lunch. Gave a lot of food and prices were good. Took leftover home and had next day for dinner. Will be my go to place for Bbq.

The food was delicious grilled chicken and fried shrimp. My sides were collard greens and french fries. Didnt even have to ask for a to go drink as the waitress did before me. 10/10

The food was great. The service was great. Very fast service, very attentive to your needs. Plenty of parking. The restaurant is clean. The bathrooms are clean, and most importantly, the food was great.

Our second time back and becoming one of our favorites. We had ribs, bbq chicken, grilled chicken and sliced beef. Sides of texas toast, corn fritters, corn salad, sweet potato, baked beans and onion rings. Food was all flavorful and delicious. Meats had a great smoke taste throughout with smoke rings on the meats. Bbq chicken skin was cooked crisp and coated nicely and you can taste the smoke flavor throughout. Grilled chicken wonderful grill marks. Ribs fall off the bone totally. Three sauces to choose on the table, mustard, bbq and hot (i mix the hot and bbq yum) Sides were also very tasty, baked beans nice and thick, fat tasty sweet potato comes with a side of honey butter and cinnamon shake on table, corn fritters with actual corn in them, corn salad a nice mix of veggies good flavor, onion rings very light and tasted good. Texas toast also very tasty and good to make a sandwich with. Our Seater/Waiter Bailey was pleasant and prompt with everything. He also was always smiling and talking with all the diners. We had a waitress our previous visit and she was the same. Very welcoming place and staff. Well worth the visit anytime and probably in our top five places to eat. Consistent quality and service. Also plenty to eat for the modest prices. Applause all around.

A huge blue cheese crumbles salad with mild fried chicken and blue cheese dressing to top off the salad. DELICIOUS!! I was so full, but I couldn't stop eating it! We love ❤️ Oakwood Smokehouse!

The Full Rack of Ribs Special for $16.00 did not disappoint. The Ribs were sauced and tender and were a large portion. The sides were delicious, especially the sweet potato fries. Our Server Kristy B was very good and her interactions with all of her customers were personable.

Great food - that's what got my attention. Really good quality and fresh ingredients, including the lettuce and the other ingredients in our salad. Our waiter, a young man, was also great and very polite. Nice to have such a great restaurant close to our home. Edit: was there again 4 weeks later, and everything was perfect again. Kudos!

Hands down the best ribs I have ever had!!

The food and price were great, super short wait, my only complaint was the bathroom, it smelled like a terrible truck stop in there, Glad I did not let that determine if we stayed. Would definitely eat there again just go to the bathroom before you get there.

When the whole rack of ribs is on special it's a great deal. But..... The chopped pork is very fatty. I've been to many BBQ places and usually the pulled pork is really lean.

Truly disappointing especially given how excited I was reading all of the positive reviews. Here from Vegas and wanted to try a different barbecue place than the one we normally visit. The only thing that was edible and good were the fried green beans. The coleslaw and regular green beans were under seasoned and completely tasteless. The okra had the consistency and taste of a dirty dish sponge….Ate two pieces and tossed in trash. The pulled pork was overcooked and had way too much barbecue sauce. What I really was looking forward to was the barbecue chicken. I ordered a quarter chicken with leg and it was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. It looked more like a Cornish hen the portion was so small and there was not an ounce of moisture anywhere in that meat. No amount of sauce or ranch dressing was going to make it worth eating. What a shame and a waste. For dark meat to be that dry takes quite a bit of effort. Aside from the ribs which were mediocre at best, everything was thrown in the trash… Oh, and except for the fried green beans. Very disappointed and will most definitely not be going back to this place….. The employees were very nice and polite just as a sidenote and to be fair.

It happened to be busier this time.. Food is always good.. I usually get the grilled sausage... I love their corn fritters.. Best I have found and they give you plenty. On this visit they were accidentally covered in syrup...

Since moving to the area 6 years ago Oakwood Smokehouse is our go to restaurant for smoked ribs and chicken. The staff is great, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and the food is always good. In 6 years we’ve never a bad meal. Now what’s really important to us is that the food is consistent in 6 years the food quality has not changed that’s why we love eating here whether dining in or takeout the food is great thank you Oakwood Smokehouse.

The service and the ribs are a solid 5! The fried shrimp were not edible and more panko than what was supposed to be shrimp. The prices are unbelievable and really good! The onion rings and sweet potato fries are straight out of a bag. The collards are okay. Who doesn’t love Texas Toast!

Food was served quickly and hot. Meat was vet tender and tasted awesome. Extra napkins on table with extra sauces all tasting wonderful. I tried each one. Service was excellent. Server came around actually checking if you needed anything else with smiles on their faces!!

A large motorcycle group, the Prowlers, gathered for a welcome back Ride To Eat (RTE). The food was good, the service great and management support superb! Highly reccommend!

Had lunch with my family today. My hubby and brother enjoy the ribs. .my son ordered the blackened ahi tuna sandwich and I enjoyed the pulled pork ...the sides were just as tasty...blackeyed peas, fried okra, collared greens. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be back.

It's average BBQ with little to remember that you would ever say you want to return.

I really enjoyed stopping in here and will definitely be back! It a has home town tavern feel. I got smoked turkey with corn fritters and a side salad. He got ribs, fries, and mac and cheese. The ribs were literally fall off the bone, and they were amazing! Highly recommend this place!

Oakwood may be the best place in Florida for baby back ribs and one of the best in the country. Quality of food is always on point and service is excellent. Atmosphere is basic, but you're not coming here for the ambience. It is all about the ribs.

The food is always great. Onion Rings are our favorite. The rack of ribs specials are always the best. The three meat platter is always my preference. This the only place in the area where I can get my two old time favorite sides, lima beans & collard greens. Oakwood is a hidden gem and one of the hose places you always clean your plate.

First time visit even though I'm from this area. Was underwhelmed by it, it wasn't busy which was nice but we found odd as it was 6pm on a Saturday. The food was ok, nothing to write home about, I got the pulled pork and it was dry and plenty of gristle or fat, which makes for an unpleasant meal. Doused it in sauces and ate it anyways haha. Overall food was ok, staff was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was constantly checking on us and very polite. Pricing seemed fairly high, 2 people, $58. 2 sweet teas, 2 orders of pulled pork, and corn Nuggets for an app. While I'd likely recommend it, I won't likely be back.

Amount of pork on the sandwich was enormous, enough for 3 sandwichs but NO FLAVOR. Mac/cheese was gross. Collards were OK. Large drinks.

Staff was amazing food was good To clarify we do ALOT of barbecuing on our own so I still gave 5 stars because everything was hot juicy and not over cooked 7 of us seated right away and waitress was great even though she was super busy never had an empty cup

My family placed an order here and they completely forgot my meal, instead of eating with my family I had to drive back 30 minutes to get my food and they still charge me full price. That’s some nerve. Would not recommend and we won’t be coming back.

Husband went to get us dinner. He got the flounder dinner and I wanted the baby back rib special. Both were $16 each. We're very disappointed. They usually do much better. The Texas toast was not toasted. My sweet potato was tiny. My ribs were not even hot, like they had been left over from lunch. We will opt to go elsewhere from now on. Just not worth the money.

Unfortunately not so good this time cold ribs and raw apple cobblers .no one seemed too concerned. Possibly because I didn't want to upset our guests by complaining at the table .turned out they didn't want to upset us and didn't say anything.

The waitress was disrespectful and rude who in there right mind would throw straws at customers? She’s lucky I was having a good day cause if not I would have spoken to her manager, I ordered green beans and she brought baked beans and when I told her I wanted green beans she replied with " you ordered baked beans “ and all my family members said no she ordered green beans she went and got the green beans , then I asked for a water to go and my spouse asked for unsweetened tea and she complain “ you guys are changing everything on me now your changing drinks ?” And I told her yes because we have to watch our sugar levels due to health issues and she brought the drinks with and annoyed face , my husband paid with the QR code and went left and why the heck she came running out the door once we were outside saying we were leaving without paying the bill and we’re short from the bill and started aggressively waving the tip money in the air my husband explained we paid with the mobile phone system and that was her tip … that was our first time here and the first impression was very bad .. SHE NEEDS TO FIND A NEW JOB … waitressing isn’t for her

This was my first time coming to Oakwood smokehouse. I just happened to see it passing by while working. I came in for lunch, got the half rack of ribs with chicken combo special with fries and baked beans. the food is absolutely delicious through and through. Nicole greeted ne as soon as I walked in the door and Emily took my order. everything was phenomenal, service, food, attitudes, drinks. and it just so happens they have an amazing view outside the front of the restaurant. I sat outside on their outside patio area and Joanie one of the waitresses came out and asked me how everything was going and said if I needed anything just let her know. A must visit for any BBQ lovers .

We never ate at this place, we waited no one greeted us for about 5 minutes, when the person came up she had an attitude…not a great first time impression. I am from the South where my folk cooked pigs, this food was disgusting. I had ribs with a plain sweet potato (no butter or brown sugar- nothing… I had to ask for condiments). The sauces weren’t even good. We will have to pass on this establishment not for us!

I just discovered Oakwood Smokehouse a couple weeks ago when I had lunch with a friend. Portions were generous, sweet tea was perfect and service was on pointe. Took my husband there 2 days ago and it was amazing as well! It is a new favorite!

Been a regular customer for awhile. Ordered grilled chicken dinner, which chicken was pink inside. Employees talking outloud about there relationships. Very unprofessional and Manager on duty allows this. Have to drive back to have them cook the chicken the correct way. I had asked a new employee to speak the Manager on duty Justin, which she had forgotten. Second employee said he was not going to offer anything for my troubles. Very disappointed in the Customer service from this place.

First time here and food was delicious. Would like the beef sliced thinner but it was still great. The Au Jus for the sandwich was perfection. Ribs were so tender. Would recommend.
