BEST LATIN FOOD (Dominican and PR) place in town!

Decided to try this little place, I was surprised how good this place actually is. I ordered the yellow rice and ground beef. It was very good and I wanted to try everything else.

Just left them got a amazing breakfast sandwich quality and service and flavor very good met the owner who took time to talk to me and keep me company while I waited very professional a great experience you don’t see owners a lot on the ground in front speaks volumes of his work ethic and pride will be stopping back here again when in the area this sandwich was great can’t wait to try some other things I saw on that menu

THE BEST MONDONGO IN THE UNITED STATES!!! Think I'm kidding? I've tried Mondongo everywhere, this is the place to go. Try it for yourself, my wife and I come every Saturday, I get the Mondongo and she gets the chicken soup. The owners and staff treat you like family, i can't say enough great things, food and customer service Top Notch! See you guys next Saturday!!

If you want to feel like you’re at a funeral go and visit this place ! The staff looks so wanting to be anywhere but their, they look at you standing around like your a bother and why are you their, all they do is look on and off at the clock and when someone enters at 6pm they all start hissing like leaking car tires. The food is not anything to rave about. If you want bad service, an attitude and food that’s been sitting in a window all day then this place is for you!

I love this place so much, I had to come back and add to my original review. The food is amazing! So flavorful and delicious. The queso flan tastes like heaven 🤤. And they have great, reasonable prices. I’ve been ordering from El Cerro for years already (takeout and delivery) and I will keep ordering as long as they’re here ♥️

Get the mango milkshake WITHOUT milk or cream! Its like heaven. Soooooo good! Of course their buffet is ALWAYS awesome. My favorite is the pork and platanos maduros.

I currently reside in Austin , Tx where there is unfortunately no food like this out there . Every time I visit Florida the first thing on my mind is el Cerro . It’s a must that we have to stop by before going back home . El Cerro is more than a meal , it’s an experience to cherish. Food has a way of bringing people together, this place will always remind me of a million words. This food speaks to the soul, & tells you a story of Latin American heritage . You can taste the love put into each dish they cook.The things I would recommend are mangu , tres golpes , ribs , the sandwiches are delicious ( THE FAT BOY ) . If you get lucky enough the lechon crackling is out of this world . Ohhhhh & dont forget to get a cafe con leche . Gracias por todo 🤍 Lastly thank you to Henry for making you feel like family .

I went for lunch with no clue as to what to expect. It was a surprise for sure to find a cafeteria style set up with lots of great looking choices. Only down side was that the dishes weren't labeled. So somethings I knew and others were a mystery. Also slightly bummed about one meat per entree rule because the ribs and the pork looked amazing.

Had a fantastic lunch at El Cerro's. The roast pork was flavorful and tender, paired perfectly with the rice & black beans. The yucca was a delightful addition. Staff were friendly, and the prices were great for the generous portions. Highly recommended!

They have an excellent spread on the cafeteria style line, but also have a large selection of made to order dishes. I enjoy the "spanish" breakfast sandwhich which is one of their made to order sandwhiches. Its large enough to split. Their coffee is fantastic as well. This is a go to breakfast spot for me.

The food here is awesome. Really enjoyed what feels to me like authentic Spanish food. Lunch specials at $10.50 and ample portions. A friendly staff and house made hot sauce. Not a big dining area but open 7am to 7pm. Great spot on 50 in Clermont. I understand they opened a second location off Hancock rd. Go!
