Great ice cream nice employees!

Has anyone visited Laurel Cold Stone on Baltimore Ave lately? Well I attempted to on Sun. 7/14/24 around noon. They only have 4 flavors, note on the ice cream case (not the front door) technical issues freezers aren't working properly...yet they're open selling semi-melted ice cream...I inquired further and was told this has been the case since Thurs! smh. They need to CLOSE the store until it's fixed and stop attempting to sell customers half-frozen ice-cream and novelty frozen desserts. MANY pre-packaged freezer items, including ice cream sandwiches have melted and refroze! Just FYI. I left w/o purchasing! No apology was given they just looked confused as why I didn't want to purchase! Lackluster attitude...not ideal service at all. #meltedstone in more than one way.

I don't know what was going on. They only had like 4 flavors of ice-cream. Maybe next time it will be better.

The ice cream to me will always be good! But the costumer service is not the best I don’t know if it’s because they are hiring younger people or what it is but it was not the best !

Manager is never around.Ice cream portion is too small yet too expensive employees look like they dont want to be there.They never pick up the phone.The employees dont use gloves and when i asked them they said the manager doesnt let them wear gloves anymore.I believe there is a new manager and thats why these problems the previous manager never had any of this happen management needs to be changed!!! never coming back again!

loved the female who did my order ! but their where these other two males with caps who was giving me mean looks and I don’t appreciate that as an employee you should always smile when customers are around !

Ordered a cake batter batter only to find apple and banana bits mixed in went to call to get an explication except nobody picked up.

I’ve been here twice. The first time I asked for a Love It size and was given the Gotta Have It size and charged $10 filpping dollars for it. The second time I asked for a Like It size in a waffle cone. Was giving a Love It size in a waffle bowl and charged $11 for something I didn’t even ask for! The whole order was wrong! Both times I was OVER CHARGED especially for something I didn’t even order. Never going back to this location. Save your money and go somewhere else. These people are MONEY HUNGRY and they will do whatever to over charge you. So make sure you’re getting what you ordered and not being cheated out of your money!

On maps and various websites it states they close at 10pm. I drove there and arrived at at 9:52. I wasn’t offered an apology instead the person who told me they were closed was rude about it and closed the door in my face. There was people in the lobby, seems like friends of workers. It’s misleading to say you close at 10 when you really close 30 minutes prior. That should be fixed considering the time and gas I wasted driving there.

This is my go to Cold Stone but tonight was a different story. We walked in the door at 9pm and it was a long line which is no problem. When we get to the counter 25 minutes later we were told that they weren't mixing ingredients into the ice cream. We could only have ice cream. Now the customer right before use got full service. We asked why and they said that they were closed. Now again we were in the store at 9pm and waited to be told at 9:25 pm that they were closed and we could only get ice cream without the topping. There were at least 5 workers and it just didn't make sense. Along with that a young lady who worked for Cold Stone was yelling very rudely at a customer who walked in at 9:30 and advised he was picking up a order and wanted to order. She yelled that we are closed and he asked a simple question and it turned Ugly. It was extremely unprofessional how she yelled and made a Spectacle with all those customers in the store. I come to Cold Stone for the ingredients and ice cream mixed not just for plane ice cream and we just couldn't understand if we waited for 25 minutes why someone couldn't complete our order and mix the ingredients. Very bad business. I understand if you close at a Particular time and we got there at closing but we wait a whole 25 minutes and didn't get full service. Some of the Attitudes Displayed was very Unbecoming and one of the employees was extremely Rude and nasty. The door wasn't locked and the sign was still lit and it said open and it was after 930pm. No sign on the door saying that they were closing early. They said they were closing early because of Easter which is cool but we were there well before closing and still didn't get full service. If we got in the store at 9pm and waited they should have mixed the ingredients. Cold stone isn't cold stone without the ingredients mixed in the ice cream.

The lady working came off a little rude. I assumed it was because she thought I was in a hurry. Which I wasn't, I even sat down. Anyway, I ordered the buy one get one free deal online. I ordered the "like it" size for both. And when I got them they were different sizes or so I thought. The lady actually went out of her way to put a smaller sized bowl into a larger sized bowl to make it appear to be a "like it" size. Very deceptive! I don't know if shes gotten away with doing this before. She shouldn't be allowed to get over on anyone. Especially if we paid for a specific size. I'm getting a refund.

Almost every time I come here it is a bad experience. They are always closed early because the employee’s don’t feel like working and just decide to close randomly. Their customer service is bad the place is run by high school kids. Also, depending on how close you come to closing time (even 1hour to 30minutes to 15minutes early) they will refuse certain services and say “we don’t do that at this time of night”. Like are you open or not.. I try to keep giving them the benefit of doubt considering when made right the ice cream is good but every time I come back I am reminded on why I don’t like to come to this location. To whoever the managers are (because they are never around.. and if they are they are hiding in the back room) do better.

Tito and a lady that works with him are sooo nice. I would come back on how good the ice cream is and and how well there service is. Give that man a raise.!:)

The staff are lovely but this Coldstone is not a pleasant hang. The outdoor temperature is in the high 50s this evening, but the thermostat at this place is set to 80°. The ice cream is melting in the display case. The staff are valiantly trying to swap in new ice cream containers from the deep freeze, but no one is talking about closing for the evening or calling the owner. There's no way I can eat ice cream in 80° with my winter clothes on, so we ordered and ate in the car. (If I'd been alone, I'd have just left, but I had my kids with me, and no child has ever been persuaded to leave an ice cream shop without some.) It was melty and pretty unappetizing.

Not impressed with their cakes. Poor customer service. Not premium service and quality for a premium price.

Not even deserving of one star. We arrived at 9:15 (they close at 10) and immediately were greeted with “do you know what you want?” Before we even walked in the door with very rude aggressive tone and constantly cut us off when trying to order. Then as we left the workers said “these white people come in and now everyone else wants to come here”. We left at 9:30 and they immediately turned the “open” sign off although they close at 10. RUDE, and unprofessional. Don’t go here.

Cold Stone Creamery on US1 is the best ice cream shop to enjoy a yummy summer desert! The Manager Tito is delightful and fun. I wanted a very special flavor that I've imagined and had been craving. So, when I told him, he created a fantastic ice cream which combined all of the flavors that I asked for; the result was simply DELICIOUS and I was super happy! Thank you for the fun, cool and joyful experience!

The ice cream soup was fantastic! All jokes aside I came out for ice cream for July 4th…come to the store and the girl helped us with our order. Not sure if the cold plate was not working or if the room is too hot. The moment she handed my waffle bowl the ice cream looked like soup. But boy…she smile at me with confidence. The cashier rang us up and ran away quickly…I think the drip of the ice cream scared her off. I had to grab the spoon behind the counter myself. That’s $25 down the drain…

The service is awful at this place. But what can you really expect when you have inexperienced workers supervising inexperienced workers.

This is my favorite cold stone to come to! My man Tito is the best, always good attitude and EXCELLENT customer service! Appreciate ya Tito! 🤓

No star rating business and does not deserve even a star. Very rude customer service and how to treat customers. If the employee hate her job does not mean she needs to treat disrespectfully her customer. A business to avoid as much as possible !!!!!

Did not have a lot of new flavors. The cookie dough ice cream had no cookie dough in it at all. The brownie was old and hard.

Customer service is terrible. The workers are on their phone and don't ask what your order is and have you waiting for a long time

Delicious ice creams at good place.

Its disheartening because this is the closest to my home and the Ice cream is great... However we went and sat in to eat our ice cream and you could smell feces quite strongly we watched one of the employees exit the rest room and head back to the kitchen,,, it was a turn off but we blew it off as it may have been a one time thing, but then litterally 2 days later we pull up in front and as we are exiting the vehicle I look up and see through the window another employee going in to the restroom which is fine because you know people have to use the bathroom at work except SHE HAD ON HER APRON... we didnt even go in at that point because of sanitation concerns. Service is great, Ice cream even better.. but sanitation habits of the staff is enough to get someone sick

The word bothered would be an understatement for this store. You walk in and you would think you walked into the wrong place. Very unwelcoming vibe for a ice cream parlor. I also feel like for the amount we pay to come you should be a little friendly to us customers children and adults. They could use some customer service managing here.

Went today service was horrible not only did I have to repeat my order twice the girl still got it wrong she didn’t do anything but scoop the ice cream out could’ve went to baskin robbins for that charge me 12.49 each for two smalls not my regular cold stone experience I will never go back to this location and will be contacting corporate office

Quality has gone down hill. No longer prideful of doing a good job, and mixing it with what you pay for. 3 months later and still not paying attention to details and quality. Prices demand better attention to details.

Tito was phenomenal and very accommodating with every need and question that was asked! Cold stone has great ice cream, but Tito made the visit worth the drive.

Tito helped us today. He remembered my order “Cake Batter Batter”… Normally it’s pretty busy and the wait is longer but yesterday was a great experience there. He was very personable and made conversation and he made our order correctly. We will back as this is the one we always go to. Tito makes it nice to come back by remembering his customers, their orders, and common interests.

Coldstone Creamery is one of my all time favorite go to must have ice cream shop in Laurel, MD. Their ice cream is fresh and delicious. Their Staff are very nice and courteous. Tito (9/13/22) was outstanding!

Ice cream great but service sucks. I felt very rushed . We were the only ones in the store . Why is it 79 cents for extra toppings each . I know prices have increased but are you serious 79cents for 10 more pieces of M&M’s.

Amazing, I mean absolutely terrific service from TITO today. He was very kind, gave assurance, and made the most delicious milkshake for me today! I mean the man needs to be appreciated for his wonderful service. I hope management/corporate sees this because I’ve never had service like this from any cold stone!

Ice cream is always great but the service was just terrible. Never going back there again. The 2 girls working there made me feel like going in there was a mistake and I had to pay the consequences. I asked her what was wrong with her and she replied, "I don't have my contacts on". So I guess her forgetting her "contacts" was everyone's fault. Nothing screamed more, "I hate my job and hate you for making me work" than her...!

There was a bug in the ice cream and the worker tried to just scoop around it.. 0/10

The usual hand-dipped and mixed creations you expect from Cold Stone. This one isn't run quite as well as some of the others in the area, but Okay 👍

Best place on earth besides tropical places. Where do I start? Ice cream is so tasty. I like the chocolate mixed with banana and Butterfinger candies. They stopped using Butterfinger candies tho. Anyway, they have Reeces and lots of other goodies.

First tome eating here and i would go back. They do follow COVID restrictions, so the place is not crowded. I’ve been to other locations and the ice cream is just as delicious as you would expect. Everything seemed fresh and the service was excellent. I noticed they have a call in service, so this may be a way to reduce your wait time as warmer weather comes.

This cold stones is what anyone would expect from a Cold Stones establishment. I have been here several times and typically getting the Strawberry Blond. Also reasonably priced.

The store was hot, felt like air conditioning was broken. There was a very limited selection on ice cream flavors and no room for employees to work. A bit disappointing today.

Great ice cream but the store was understaffed and it took about 20 mins to get our food.

Went on 3/14/19 and there was a girl with red braids that helped me. She had a long line, while the other girl was in the back the entire time. The girl, all by herself, managed to go quick and still have a positive energy when addressing customers!

I LOVE this coldstone and customer service. Highly recommend the vanilla, mint and coffe ice cream and cakes, but you really can’t go wrong no matter what you get from the menu. They also have excellent milkshakes and more. I ordered cake from this store and bald guy with mustache and glasses ON provided great customer service. On the day I ordered the cake, he knew what I was expecting on my cake order. I, my family members and friends loved the cake. I tipped the guy $25 for his great service. I think customer service has been improved a lot in the past years. If the icecream is great, cake is great and service is great, what else you need. 😀😀😀

Every Cold Stone has the same ice cream and toppings, but this one has, by far, the best service of any I've been to. Will come again.

Great ice cream, service could be better. It would be nice if they smiled once in a while and at least tried to be welcoming. But otherwise, the ice cream is amazing (especially the signature ice creams like the chocolate devotion), and the place is usually quiet, not crowded at all. Plenty of seating most of the time.

this is the only place I can get sweet cream and cinnamon ice cream with walnuts. Parking's a bear, though. Better to park in the main parking lot for the center than try to park directly in front.

Great ice cream but okay service. I had a coupon and one of the workers giving me a hard time. It didn't bring the second page with their location address on it and she was giving me a hard time. If I didn't have it in my email still she was going to make buy both of my ice creams instead of bogo

Coldstone is perfection on it's own. Hire a better more friendly attentive staff and this location would be a 5.

El lugar está situado en Contee Road en Laurel, las tres chicas que trabajan el mostrador era servicial y acomodó mi petición especial. Me dieron un crujido de caramelo de plátano (menos la banana, alergias) y estaba delicioso. Mi amigo me dieron una cortina de terciopelo rojo y crema cheesecake de hielo también lo disfrutamos. Ambos eran de un tamaño de pequeño y pagamos $13 más la variación para ambos. ¡Ay. En general muy bueno y tienes lo que pagas, helados premium.

El personal era muy servicial y mezclado gran helado. sabroso y divertido. Los ingredientes se mezcla en el helado era fresco. La tienda estaba muy limpia. Un buen final de una comida.
