10/10. Was really worried seeing how packed the place was, but they have a great layout that seems to fit just about everybody. So many seafood choices at good prices. Here on a business trip and I think this will be my favorite stop while I'm here. Good crabcakes

Food is good people are nice, prices are reasonable. If you're into vegetables like i am, some of the vegetables need work a bit tasteless. Otherwise great place to eat

Food takes a bit to come out, but it's worth the wait. Sit, relax and have a glass of wine while you wait lol.

This place is spectacular! The food is tasty and worth every penny. They give you so much I had food for the next day. So pleasantly surprised. The staff is outstanding. Very helpful and friendly. The stuffed shrimp and mac and cheese were my favorite.

I've never been personally, I ordered from Uber Eats. In my Cardi B voice let me tell you something this is some good eats. I love the fish sandwich with chips. I ordered fried chicken with greens and potato salad. It was a 10, the chicken was well season, the greens are delish and potato salad was spot on. Some of the best I ever eaten.

I love there food I'm a seafood lover so I'm always getting stuffed fried shrimp ummmmm yummy my favorite.

Very good! It's a little confusing to order as one half of the restaurant is setup for to-go orders and the other half sit down and order. But the food was excellent. Had the stuffed snapper and it's a very generous portion.

Whiting platter , Veggies and Broc with cheese very nice portions And all was good

Fried deviled eggs are very good. Stuffed snapper is two pieces of snapper with crab placed between the pieces.

It's a little confusing when you first enter to order. Food, dessert, and smoothie were great.

The food was delicious. Great portions. I had stuffed salmon, collard greens and Mac and cheese.

Food was good and drinks were strong. But the music was too loud. Couldn't hear everyone at our table and we had to raise our voices.

I was just at the restaurant in Laurel with my brother and his wife from Atlanta. Having been to this restaurant multiple times I wanted to give them a treat. Unfortunately this visit didn’t end well. I ordered the two two two two meal which consisted of fish, scallops, shrimp and fried oyster. As I was eating my meal I noticed that I didn’t have any scallops. I walked to the counter and informed a server that I didn’t receive any scallops. She then asked to she my plate so I brought it to her( which made no sense because if they were in the container then why would I bring it up). Nevertheless I did bring it up and showed it to her along with the requested receipt. She then asked another server who also asked to see my plate. I told her that I wasn’t going to keep carrying my plate back and forth. The manager then came and I told him the same thing. He then checked with the kitchen and told me that the cook was sure he put it on the plate. I told him that I didn’t spend well over $100 just to try and get two free scallops. Eventually he brought two out to me still telling me I was wrong. I didn’t eat them but returned them to the server and told them that I won’t be back nor will I encourage any members of my church to come back. I assume the manager values two scallops over returning customers willing to spend over $100 on a Monday evening. Very unfortunate situation. NOTE: I heard back from the restaurant today and the situation was resolved amicably. I appreciate the reaching out to me.

Crab cake and crab quesadilla were slamming. If Im ever in the area I am definately stopping in here.

Everything was fresh and hot. The Mac n cheese is the best restaurant dish I’ve had. Was really close to homemade. Loved the greens, could eat a dish of those and nothing else. Service is a little slow, order is placed on a number system. Food is not ready in sequential order. This is a place you just know there will be a wait for your food, but it’s worth it!

This place is awesome & one of the best reasonably priced restaurants around. Even with the wait you can't beat the freshness & delicious taste of the food. I will say the only dish thus far that I've had that still needs to be worked on are the collard greens. But other than that, we love the food.

I love the variety and quality of the food at the Laurel Md location. My go-to on Sundays after church.

Only thing that would make this place better is if the served the dine in food on actual plates instead of having you eat out of a to go box .. but the food is so good you'll wanna save it to take home lol

Wow, this place was amazing. You can order to go or you can eat in. It was spacious and clean. The food was delicious. The portions were huge. I had plenty left for a full meal the next day. If you're in the area, you should go here. You will not be disappointed.

The manager of this restaurant defamed and insulted me right in public This man is incompetent unprofessional .I was insulted I was abused by the manager of this restaurant all because I waited over an hour for my order all I did was asked him politely when my order was going to be ready and he proceeded to insult me right in front of a crowd .I have never been so embarrassed in my life like this I do not deserve to be treated the way I was treated especially by a manager.

I have not been there in over 2 years. It was remodeled, clean, and bright and as usual every one was extremely friendly. The food was very good. And the serving size was very plentiful. I really enjoyed myself.

A little bit of a wait, but the food was excellent. Great atmosphere.

Confused about being forced into a choice. Asked for a whiting sub, they only have whiting dinners. Was told they could sell me the whiting with sliced bread. Asked for a sub roll (offered to pay up charge) refused. Spoke to the manager, refused as well. Flounder or catfish sandwich is not appealing to me. The issue here for me is an unwillingness to accommodate customers. It’s not like they do not have these items. Oh well, now to look for a small business to patronize.

Stopped while I was in town visiting. Atmosphere was pleasant and the drinks at the bar were great.

Disappointed with the 4 Fried Devil Eggs for $11 the price for a dozen . IT only had a pinch of CRABMEAT on it Suggestion add the CRABMEAT to the egg mixture.

This was our first visit to mid Atlantic seafood. We were very excited to visit the restaurant, their menu looks incredible. I had soft shell crabs, broccoli with cheese and cabbage. The soft shell crabs were almost unidentifiable due to the amount of coating they were fried in. The sides were fair at best. My wife ordered BBQ chicken which was incredibly dry with a side of mac n cheese and potatoes with onions. Both of her sides were very greasy and covered in salt. I don’t believe we will be back.

The food was not worth the money and tasted horrible

The overall experience here is very good! Clean restaurant, decent prices and plenty of food options. Excellent choice for a small group lunch or dinner with family, friends or coworkers. My biggest issue with this restaurant is use of the bag tax fee when ordering online (and how this seems to create confusion with the total price). Since the bag fee is 10 cents, I expect this additional price. After reviewing my online order receipt versus my paper receipt at home, I realized that I was charged an additional one cent. I couldn't understand why I had an additional cent added until I compared the receipts. The amount of tax changed from $1.42 (online) to $1.43 (paper receipt received in-person). Why does the tax change from an online order being picked up and paid for in person? Am I being charged more because I paid in person? Is there an additional tax on the bag tax? This issue may seem small to many, but imagine if this happened to 100 people everyday per year... That one cent would be quite some extra hundreds of dollars in Mid Atlantic's pockets just because of an additional penny! I truly hope management will fix this issue immediately because I can only assume many people aren't paying close attention to an extra penny spent as I have done.

Amazing food and portions! We got the crab stuffed salmon, crab stuffed shrimp, fried shrimp, gizzards and crab cakes. Highly recommend!!!

No changing table for my baby in the bathroom. Had to change him on the floor in 2024. Obviously you expect to have young children because you have high chairs. Unacceptable! Food was good. Wait was ridiculous.

Food is good but customer service is horrible. They put you on hold just to hang up and then get rude with you when they're out of food.

Diana was great and her drinks were delicious. Even though I didn't get to take a picture of the lump crab quesadillas and mahi-mahi fish tacos 😋 because I ate them real quick they were delicious.

UPDATE: disappointed with the Mac and cheese, the cheese doesn’t melt and the noodles was dry. Quality has gone down. The yams were cut entirely too big. Great customer service and very clean atmosphere. Please fix the Mac and cheese. I will never go to the other location again! This location is beautiful, clean, friendly. food looks fresh and appealing! Worth the drive and the wait.

We love coming here. It's definitely not an every day place for us because the prices are fairly high. The staff is always friendly whether they are packed or empty. Depending on the time you order they may not have everything you want - which is ok. The amount of food you get is definitely worth it. We will be back!

Clean, delicious, amazing spot. The food here is always a hit. Their drinks are strong and delicious. The desserts hit the spot. Cannot recommend this place enough. You cannot go wrong ordering anything from here!

Excellent customer service and great portions.

Prompt service, polite and knowledgeable staff.

This place has everything, starting with the selection of foods. Partner and I got two combo platters, an appetizer and dessert. All very generous portions (except for the pumpkin cheesecake slice which I'd consider average size, and delicious), fresh and tasty. The "stuffed" flounder I got was more smothered than stuffed, but the ingredients and flavor were good. Clean and spacious dining areas, friendly staff and customers. Will return!

They remodeled and it's really nice, the lines move fast.

Huge portions. I don't like that they charge extra for cornbread and don't tell you.

My first time here. I order the croaker filet dinner,,with Mac and cheese and Coleslaw and a piece on the cornbread. The fish is cooked to order so it's still hot when you get it home. I don't really like the Mac and cheese but my grand love it. Can't wait to try the next meal 😋

Ecxellent Sea Food joint, but very crowded. Could be a long wait. But if you like seafood this is your place.

Mid Atlantic Seafood restaurant has a huge variety of food. They have fish, chicken and rib dinners with various sides and drinks. The prices are reasonable too. A family friendly restaurant that I highly recommend.

Me and my guest waited an hour and forty-five minutes for quesadillas and fried crab deviled eggs. My food was luke warm and over priced for what we got. They have a sign that says no refunds. Disappointing.

I think the place is beautiful. The food was amazing. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Overall wonderful experience here!

it took almost 3 hours for us to receive our food and we had to fight just to get what we paid for. we arrived to the restaurant at 12:30 as we made a reservation. after an hour, we checked on our food. they said it wasn’t ready yet and that they’re not allowed to give us only part of our orders so we couldn’t eat the food that was already ready to go. we didn’t receive our food until 3pm. 2.5 hours for a meal. there was no apology from the management, and no comping our food for the extreme wait times. the food that we did receive was mid but the fish was especially inedible. it was so overcooked. i felt bad because the staff was clearly working hard and trying to fulfill all the orders as best as they could. but the restaurant just kept taking more orders even though they didn’t complete the ones that were placed hours ago. and we were not the only customers who had this issue. many others were complaining that they were waiting for hours and their kids were hungry. the staff was hard working but it was clear that the management is terrible here. they take customers’ money even if they can’t handle the orders and they overwork the staff. you might get a better experience if you go on a slow day, but personally i would never give this place my money again. it’s clear they don’t care about their customers and are exploiting the local community.

Popular family-style restaurant with a broad spectrum of menu items. Not just seafood. Seafood-and-sides type of menu with counter service once your choice is prepared. Served in Styrofoam boxes to go or to carry to your table. Great choice of sides and they are very generous with portions. Broiled flounder was very good as was the seafood platter. Gotta try it if you are near Baltimore.

My favorite place to take friends and family from out of state.

Update. Still a great place with delicious food and great service. The staff is very attentive. They get very busy especially on weekends, but it's worth the wait.

The service could have been a little faster, but the food was awesome. The environment was nice.

I usually get fried fish, bone-in croaker, spot and bass. Havent tried the ling but I sure will. The fish is always deliciously fried so good! The drinks and deserts are decent. Sides remind me of soup kitchen style, need lots more tender love and care. I try not to spend my money on that. This location has the best tarter sauce of them all

We were looking for a place to eat crabcakes and stopped here. I thought it was a restaurant, but instead it's a sort of fish rotisserie. Go to the counter and order what you want from the screen, the waiters take the order and prepare it for you. All very good, the food is worth it but I was disappointed because I thought it was a real restaurant. That is, in the end you pay like a restaurant but it's a takeaway. Let's say that the prices are average American. Probably if you are not European you will not understand the differences.

Stop by for a mini drink and food, food, and more food. Love it

Not really a Seafood restaurant. More like a cafeteria with some basic seafood items available. False advertising in my book.

The food here is always great. I've been going for years, and not once been disappointed. They also have a great bar, where you can have a cocktail while you wait! I highly recommend their fish dishes.

Workers and Customers are always friendly here. Had the Boil and Deviled Eggs. So good.

Its always prepared for a crowd without long waits. The food is always freshly prepared and very catchy to the eye that u want all u see and some.

This place used to be good. I have no idea where to find any type of soul food now in this area. The mac n cheese tasted like Kraft cheese mixed with powdered box cheese. So many sides to choose from yet nothing memorable, particularly delicious, or worth writing home about.

The food is hot and very tasty. I really enjoyed my meal. You also get a lot of food for your money.

I purchase a meatloaf dinner on April 5, 2024 with mashed potatoes and string bean. The string beans were under cooked.

Chill seafood place, food came out hot and fresh. Staff chatted a little bit. Would visit again

Ordered a platter of whiting for a get together. It was ready on time and was delicious.

Food was very appealing and tasty, not overly seasoned. Good size portions. Nice atmosphere to get in, sports bar area attached. Staff is kind, professional but a bit slow. On this day I went they got a little disorganized. You must have patience on busy days.

Salmon with collard greens and cheesy potatoes was a hit.

Please people stop supporting business that don't value your business. Stop giving them your hard work money. So I'm bilingual. I place my order for BBQ wings with fried potatoes and green beans. So the guy that took my order was great, very friendly. How the lady with the glasses on was making my order incorrect. So I said to her nicely in her Language she was making my order wrong. She said that it was right I said no mama its wrong. She asked me Three times for the number which I gave to her in both languages. I even called across the dinner area for the number. She still had a issue at that point. So I decided not to stay. Being a African American would speak two languages is a blessing. Wake up your money is valuable.

The food is pretty consistently delicious but the wait can be a little long depending on the time of day and the day of the week. I highly recommend ordering online and then picking up as you can always sit down and eat your food if you change your mind once you get there. The mixed drinks are pretty good as well and I like to sit in the bar area when I do eat there.

I call this place 3 times and they answered and left me waiting for more than 5-7 I used different phone to call because I thought something wrong was with my phone but not they did the same thing left me waiting.

When I first saw the menu online, I thought the food was overpriced. But when I stepped in the door, I smelled the aromas and saw the countless dishes of food, and then, after an excruciating wait, I finally got to taste my meal. After all this, I realised that I was right all along and I never should've set foot in this dump.

With the cops posted outside you would’ve thought they had food to die for, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Food was bland and overpriced. But the lady that took my order was extremely welcoming so I’ll give her a star.

There was a great selection of seafood and side dishes and a very nice full-service bar with great TVs for those people who are sports fans. Great price friendly staff good food. Who can ask for more? The only thing they needed was perhaps a little bit more atmosphere for the evening crowd.

Great experience. The team here is polite, friendly, hardworking, and professional. The restaurant is very clean and organized. Portions are very generous and the price is more than fair. The menu is expansive and delicious. You don’t always leave a restaurant feeling full and treated right, you will here.

I'd actually started eating before I wrote this review so that plate isn't has full, lol. My apologies. I've been here a few times. I got the fried whiting with sweet potatoes and greens. If you can't tell, the food is really really good. I truly enjoyed it!

Services was extremely bad .. I waited since 6:54 pm on 2/22/24 and it was 7:40 pm and my order was not ready!! However, someone informed me, of a situation going on during that time.

Let me say that this is my go to place for crab legs, in the country. Now the price use to be awesome, however due to inflation it has gone up, TREMENDOUSLY, so I didn't get 3 lbs like I normally do because now it's $98 for 3 Lbs. I still enjoy my 2. The new sports bar is nice. Drinks are always strong and great customer service. You have to wait a while for your food. But it is worth it, regardless of what you get . They have heslthy options, as well as comfort food. If it's your first time be sure you read the specials. You can order online or go to a kiosks and order too, that Lessens the wait.

Met friends here on a recommendation from one of their friends....didn't know what to expect as we expected anything associated with Baltimore and environs would carry a pretty high risk of mortality! Bright, clean well lit place. Left side is "cafeteria" style where you order from massive menu. Right side is bar where you go to get alcohol if you are dining in. No wait service. Only mortality associated with this place was with the volume of Food! Downsides: many dishes are fried. Upside? While moderately expensive, portions are massive. I mean, massive. I got 6 fried shrimp, 7 fried scallops (shrimp were good; scallops excellent), a side of cheesy broccoli (good) and red skin potatoes (good). Lots of potatoes! The wings, with Old Bay, were among the best I've ever had. Good selection of beers. My wife and friend's wife had the same. We got a slab of Smith Island cake which was very good. Food ranged from good to excellent. I would definitely go back. Live 500 miles away, but would definitely go back! BTW, most patrons appeared to do carry out.
