If you have never tried Country Maid ice cream you are in for a treat! Rich and creamy, with real ingredients! You can tell by the taste. I travel in Ohio for my job and I’ve tried other local places that make their own and hands down this is the best! My favorite is butterscotch! Excellent, friendly staff! Yummy!

Small ice cream shop with many hand dipped ice cream flavors to chose from. A single dip is $3.50 but it is a generous scoop. They have both inside and outside seating and it is a nice stop after enjoying a sunny day in the area. Close to the Cuyahoga NP.

Very good ice cream, all hand made from my understanding. They have child size bowls for dogs also.. I didn't get a chance to try their floats but they look good. Plenty of benches & outside seating for relaxing, about 20 or 30 seats inside in case it's raining or you want air conditioning. Not to bad on price..

Nice place to stop when you're out and about along Rt 303

Came for the eclipse, stayed a little longer for the ice cream. It was worth the drive from Virginia, some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had.

The perfect end to our family vacation! Make sure you try the Lemon Chip and Maple Nut. Edit: two years later, it’s just as good as I remembered. Got the peach. It was transcendent.

After the Kenmore Freeze closed, I went on a hunt for a chocolate malt as good as theirs was. Finally, after dozens of tries, I stumbled on this place and struck gold! I think they are even better! And always consistently the best! BUT u have to ask for it to be made with vanilla ice cream... sorry, I can't help u with anything else Cuz I always get the same thing! I can tell u, for a place kinda in the middle of nowhere, but on a main road, they are always busy! AND they also sell fresh fruits and vegetables in the other building!!! They are very close to 271 & Peninsula, a stone throw from the old Richfield Coliseum

Best ice cream in North America!

Every single day we left the hotel or returned to the hotel, we would pass by here. Every. Single. Day. Finally, on the fifth and last day, we decided to stop by. And of course, it starts raining on us. Once you walk in, you see all kinds of things on their shelves. Popcorn, jellies, different types of mixes, popcorn, pastas, syrups, and popcorn. I had absolutely no more room in my luggage. Otherwise, I would have taken some popcorn with us. All the ice cream and sherbet are made here in their only location. They use locally grown fruit. Girls behind the counter were friendly and very helpful. After their explanation of a couple of flavors I settled with the Penuchi Fudge and a scoop of mint chocolate chip as well. It was good not excessively sweet and they have sugar free options as well.

Black Cherry, Black Walnut, Butterscotch... doesn't matter it is great ice cream in a great spot.

I was here a few days ago and tried the maple nut ice cream on a sugar cone. I also bought a jar of red raspberry jam. The ice cream was great and the service was awesome. I still haven't tried the jam yet but the price per jar was very reasonable which is hard to find these days.

Super friendly staff, fast service, great prices, ice cream sundae was amazing. The fresh jams are also priced very fairly. Awesome place.

My husband and I stopped on our way home while traveling. I had the vegan strawberry and it was delicious! My husband had the cherry ice cream and really enjoyed it! If you are driving through you definitely need to make a stop here.

Delicious ice cream and sherbert, many flavors available. I got the honey for the second time. The place is very busy and looks packed, but it moves fast. They have an outside patio where you can sit and enjoy your frozen dessert and benches along the parking lot.

Been meaning to come here for ages when I’m in town since they’re open seasonally. Amazing tasting ice cream, all fresh made in house, creamy and not too sweet or sugary. Tons of flavors to choose from in a cup, cone, or to go in small (pint, I think) or large (I believe up to 2.5 gal) containers! Open late, friendly staff, and other snacks (kettle corn, chocolate covered pretzels, etc.) you can grab quickly as well. Check it out!

This is some of the best ice cream around! Every time we go riding at Brecksville Reservation, we come after to get ice cream. Even my horse Chase Manhattan loves their ice cream and gets a baby peach cone! Don’t miss it! Delicious.
