When they say the portions are generous, they really mean it! :) A plate could feed at least two people. We sampled a few of their dishes ~ the Margherita and supreme pizzas are both very yummy. I loved the thin crust and even layer of cheese. The toppings were fresh. The pastas were okay; we had the chicken parm and chicken marsala. Also service was really nice! Our waiter was very friendly and had a great sense of humor.

Recently we visited this beautiful restaurant by Miami River and we loved. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Agree with reviews in 2024 except the 5 star review which I would question . My experience is in line with the others. Not the same place anymore , service mediocre, prices up, restaurant empty, and the food average . So from a 5 star under the old owner to a generous 3. As always your own experience is what matters these are just our experience vs the restaurant we were used to . Probably unfair to compare even though it kept same name . Also be careful about not extra tipping . You get stuck with 20% it’s Miami !!!

My family and I came to this restaurant for the first time for dinner during Miami Spice month. For appetizers we had the meatballs, shrimp cakes, and the caprese salad. For entrees we had two chicken parmesans and the bolognese. For dessert we had the pana cotta, tiramisu, and the limoncello cake. Everything was great! The portions are hearty, so I recommend sharing some plates so you can taste a bit of everything. I left nice and full. I will be returning soon. Thank you for the great food and hospitality.

Absolutely Dry Spaghetti with no tomato sauce. It's really maddening when you send someone dry pasta and overcooked mush. Chicken parmigiana was not great at all, and the size is significantly smaller, and the scarcity of sauce is missed in this dish, too. The garlic knots are just dried cooked dough with sprinkle cheese. No garlic, olive oil, parsley. I'm so disappointed. The Margherita pizza was super SALTY. Salt is not a main ingredient in a dish. I don't understand how you can mess up on something so simple. Definitely should be doing better if you want customers to come back and spend money.

I am so happy I finally made it here after a few years of wanting to try it out. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it all. The atmosphere, the food, good quality pizza. Our drinks were delicious. And the staff was generous and friendly. This will definitely continue to be a little date night spot for us. One thing I always appreciate is good service and good food. The two combined are unstoppable. Especially in Miami it is difficult to find small spots that are overwhelming or where one precedes the other. We are truly thankful for the experience. I would post pictures but we are everything too fast ;(.

Since the change in ownership, we have noticed the change in portion sizes (Smaller) and the way they cooked certain items. The fried cheese seemed as if it is now dropped in the fryer as opposed to pan seared as it now resembled a crunchy, triangular-shaped chicken nugget, and now comes in more smaller pieces as opposed to several giant, crisp yet floppier, translucent pieces over a bed of arugula. The veal parm there used to be my favorite dish in Miami, and the piece of veal even needed its own plate! Now the piece of veal shares the same plate as the side of ziti alfredo it comes with as the portion shrunk, and the breading on the veal had changed. It had tasted as if I were eating more breading than veal, and tasted like a cheap breading you would get at your local pizza shop. There was one gentleman, possibly the new owner/manager, that was walking around and checking on the restaurant, but he was wearing a sidewards hat and baggy jeans (didn’t really go with the classier vibe of the place). Other than that, the staff is still great and the atmosphere is pleasant

We have been customers at Crust for many years. Last night was a disappointment. I had my suspicion that the original owners had sold the place and it proved to be true. The original Crust will be dearly missed.

Good food, good wine, and very generous portions

Crust is phenomenal, in short. I visited Miami for the weekend and had to make it count, and I am happy to say that Crust met the goal. I went in the last hour, which I don’t usually like to do but a late flight had other plans. Nonetheless, Chris, at the bar and who I later learned is the manager, was more than happy to welcome and seat me. It was slow since it was a Thursday night, and I was seated immediately in the midst of three pairs of diners. They all seemed content, and a few shared their recommendations for dessert and the chicken parm. I thought to try a pizza to honor the namesake but wavered. Alex, my server, took my drink order and a minestrone I was eager to try out while I decided on the main course. It was flavorful and well-seasoned with all the veggies well cooked, and the pasta a great texture. I still hadn’t received my Baby Blue drink, which was decided after a look at the Watermelon Sugar and the Limoncello di Crema, but once it came out, I understood - it was a frozen drink that had to be blended. At this point, I was already satisfied with my visit: the diners around me were in good spirits, enabled by the great service and tempered ambiance of the restaurant; the service was attentive; and the excitement for the chicken parm and dessert was strong. I confirmed for myself that my fellow diners were indeed correct: the chicken parm had enough for two people or two meals. That the sauce didn’t fully stick to the spaghetti deceived me, as when I bit into it and the chicken parmesan, the taste and quality I would best describe as textbook. Not in the basic or unexceptional way, but in a way that it checked off all the boxes and should set the standard for that dish. The sauce presented a bold but balanced flavor; the chicken breading crisp; and the mozzarella and parmesan equal in donating their flavors. I can’t fault it! I left room for dessert and ordered before the restaurant closed, settling on the Limoncello cake. Alex brought it out as I finished up my meal, and the staff began to close up shop without sparing customer service in doing so. In an appreciated touch of service other places would have overlooked, Melissa, another server, offered to keep the cake in the fridge while I finished with my entree, and I gladly took her up on that offer. She packed up the leftovers for me as I began to enjoy the cake. It delivered on the details promised on the menu, and it was a light yet flavorful ending to the meal. Crust is THE place for Italian food in Miami, there’s no question. I don’t anticipate returning to the city in quite some time, so I will miss out on the cuisine but will confidently recommend it to family and friends in the meantime!

In our unofficial survey of downtown/Brickell Miami pizza, this is probably the best. Certainly best crust of all. Only complaint is that the toppings are too generous. For real Italian experience should be about half as much. But I guess they have to cater to American tastes…

What a fantastic, reasonably priced gem near downtown Miami! We took summer associates here and, wow, I was surprised! Food was delicious; servers were kind; and the ambiance is intimate and cute. The food portions though… over the top! For the price, it can’t be beat! The chicken parm can feed a family of 4. I liked the eggplant parm appetizer better, though. The salads were also fresh and shareable. Love this spot and will be back w the kiddos!

The place was fantastic. The portion sizes were huge for the chicken Parm. Easily could feed 2-3 people. The drinks were great. I had an espresso martini with the tiramisu and loved it. The truffle fries were crispy and fresh. The price for the quality of the food was well worth it. Definitely a top restaurant in Miami.

I shouldn't have ordered the Strip at an Italian restaurant... but they should take it off the menu if they're going to put 5% effort into it. No seasoning; thought well done when ordered MR. Service was outstanding. I guess I should have complained but was short on time.

Definitely one of our favorite places in Miami! Such a cute place for a date night or family dinner. The proportions are MASSIVE. You will definitely have left overs. Never had a dish here I haven’t loved. And the desserts are incredible. The owners are also so precious.

The food, as the waiter Joe said, is "pretty gracious." The food was delicious but the wait time between appetizer (Fried Mozarella really good but it was room temperature)and main course (New Traditional Carbonara very tasty really good portion) was almost and 1hr long on 7/13/24. It seemed that they were only three people working the floor, each doing different jobs, so I don't want that to take away from my overall experience. Another worker who was really nice and accommodated the wait time . I wasn't expecting it, but I do appreciate it (sorry, I never got his name. I think he had locks or braids ) . I would definitely come back maybe at a different time to see how the atmosphere or vibe is.

The prices went up a lot and the amount of food is almost like 1/2 of what it used to be. What happened?? I went for my Bday and i was disappointed.

The was fantastic, so glad we finally got to eat here. The dishes are plentiful, well presented and utterly delicious. The Burrata with Prosciutto was a meal in itself everyone at the table raved about it. The lasagna Bolognese was one of the best i have ever had. Make this a spot to try

Today we decided to go to Crust. Not our first time here in the past we've had a great time with a woman who is usually there might be the owner. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience today and ended up leaving. Our hostess sat us down. There were only four to five tables taken and we were seated in the back in a corner (no problem). For the 12 minutes we were there no one brought us water nor told us that someone was going to be with us shortly. So we decided to leave. When we were heading out the door the hostess looked up from her cellphone and told us "Thank you, come again." We know customer service is not Miami's forte, but not being acknowledged whatsoever when you show up to spend your money at a location is extremely disrespectful.

Great spot for after a Marlins game. Service was great. Menu selections are great and portions make this a great value. Pizza is also too on our list.

The waitress must have been new , she didn’t know the menu and she was having a hard time taking the order with the hand held device . The food took long and my brother ordered a dessert and they brought him a different item and said that they were out of the item he ordered , they didn’t even ask if that would be okay

Love how these guys adapting to their customers. After this place was sold, they became a bit meh, or basically different from what we all used to, but overtime they got better and better. Last time we got pizza it was amazing, better even than with previous owners. The balance of the ingredients (not too much but not too little), the sauce, and the crust (not too thin, but not too thick), all near perfect.

Another amazing meal at Crust! I had the veal parm and my friend had the chicken parm. We both brought home enough for two more meals! This restaurant is outstanding!

Nothing special, I don't recommend the Parmesan chicken, the chicken they gave me to replace it was very tough. The fettuccine Alfredo pasta did not have the sauce. Terrible service. I'm not coming back!

Do not order chicken Marsala. Came out so covered in gravy you couldn’t find out where the chicken was. Very little flavor. Called it mushroom risotto. Tasted like minute rice with tons of gravy. If I can add the puck I will. The most ybappkealubf did that has ever been brought our to me for this price.

My second time visiting Crust, and it’s another wonderful experience. Our group had classic plates like Lasagna, Gnocchi and of course, two of us split the Chicken Parm, with leftovers for tomorrow. The Crust salad with beets was also a big favorite. A wonderful way to celebrate my 50th birthday.

Absolutely fantastic! Portion sizes are very large so be prepared to share! Chicken Parm was amazing as well as the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo!

It was very good. Only thing that we didn’t like was that they automatically add 20% tip to the bill. We typically give more than that but our waiter did the minimum and we could just tell it was probably because he knew he was getting a tip regardless. Only came by to take order and at the end. Zero personality at all and quite robotic. Literally walked away as he said thanks for dining with us. Called him over to order another drink which any waiter knows that’s a easy way to hike up that bill. Again, he did the bare minimum. Eventually got the drink after I was done eating and because we waved down a manager. You would think they would have comped that drink but no. The food was very good and all was great except our server and attention to detail that was lacking. He did not deserve that 20% and I think he would have done a better job knowing it wasn’t guaranteed.

The entire staff was so friendly, personable and helpful. The food is fabulous. Pizza, salad entree's all amazing. We had reservations for dinner for our 40th wedding anniversary, we looked at photos online and saw so many great looking choices we decided to have pizza and salad for lunch, then went back for our dinner, all incredible. Again, the service was on point with a wonderful friendly touch. My wife is in a wheelchair and valet made sure parking was convenient with the ramp van. Thank you for a wonderful evening. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Miami for many years... Abundant, delicious Italian food at fair prices! I visited with the wife yesterday only to my total disappointment that it sold and is under new management. Well under this new management food is no longer delicious (just average) and prices are ridiculous! And on top of it all you get charged automatically with 20% gratuity and they ask for additional tip. 2 pizza + 2 drinks = $120 + parking Will not be back and no longer recommend.

While traveling, we always rely on Open Table for our evening dining selection. In Miami, where the selection is endless, we chose Crust: good reviews, nice menu and close to our hotel. We had a fantastic meal! Our server Joe was delightful and always available. My husband enjoyed chicken piccata; lemony, nice touch of garlic and heaps of capers!! Some restaurants are so chintzy with the capers! The array of pizzas are ample. I decided on the Mediterranean, minus red onions. Thin crust, not too much cheese, richly sprinkled with Kalamata olives. Very nice evening!

Friendly staff with delicious food options

The atmosphere was very nice. They had live Italian music, and the singer was excellent. The food and service were good. Just a couple of “no-so-good” details: the server upgraded our bottle of wine without letting us know (we didn’t notice it because it was the same wine we had order from the menu, but supposedly this bottle had better quality) and we were charged almost $20 dollars more for it. He was very receptive when we asked about the price increase and gave us a discount of $10 (but it was still more than the initial price we had decided on). Also, you cannot request to substitute the side dish of your entree, and that was a big inconvenience. I am on a low carb diet and my plate came only with mashed potatoes. The manager was nice, and allowed me to change it for vegetables. However, three more people from our party didn’t want mashed potatoes either, and the only choice for them was to remove it and pay extra for a different side dish. My Mahi was salty and too buttery. The pizzas were great. The spaghetti meatballs was a huge portion and it was very good! Overall, we liked the place and it was a nice experience.

Crust has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time g time; imagine my feelings when I read that the owners were selling. Well, we returned to see if it was the same Crust we loved, and I am happy to report, it is! The food taste, size and presentation are the same! The service was excellent too! Crust still remains a favorite! I did miss Anita!

I had more expectations about the previous review but the risotto was terrible taste the beer not cold enough and where asking for specific wine and they bring another complete different 4 out of 10

Food, amazing Staff, friendly Ambiance , laid back Location, not easy to get to, we happen to go right at the moment a huge rain storm it so walking to the restaurant meant wading through ankle deep water. We had no choice but to valet , at $15 per car I feel they should have taken the weather conditions under consideration.

New ownership quickly destroyed the essence of what Crust was about. The pizza remained good, but the food was so..so and the service was extremely unprofessional. The employees were very congenial but knew nothing of the proper way to serve food and remove the used plates. The restaurant had very few tables filled at 6:30 pm. A huge disappointment for us. Anita, where have you gone? We miss you.

The biggest portions in Miami. We took home ten lbs of food. The seafood risotto was very good. Chick Parm is their specialty. The limoncello cake is TDF.

The food from Crust is exceptional and speaks for itself, but I wanted to write a review surrounding customer service. My wife and I have eaten at Crust several times but lately we have been ordering delivery. We had a slight mix up with our delivery order this weekend, and the manager Chris went ABOVE AND BEYOND to resolve it. He went so far out of his way for us on a busy night to make sure we were happy. I have really never experienced such good customer service. Stephany was also great and helpful. 10/10 ALL AROUND!!

We went out for a casual dinner, but we felt very special. Starting with the warm welcome we received from the hostess and the manager Chris, followed with the attentive service from Joe and ending with the delicious food and leftovers we took home. We tried the buratta caprese because I was craving something refreshing. The shrimp cakes were delicious as always. I’ve had the Crust pizza many times and we truly love it, but we noticed improved quality in the ingredients this time. The 4 cheese risotto was perfect amount of saltiness coming mostly from the cheese. We finished the night with freshly made Nutella Zeppoli. The ambiance was very romantic (the dimmed lightning and the fresh rose at the table was a nice touch). Thanks Crust! Can’t wait to go back to try all new items on the menu as well as some old ones that I’ve been craving.

The food was delicious. WARNING: Pasta dishes come with at least 1.5lbs of pasta 😂. I was not expecting that! The service was pretty good however we were the only table in there.

Parking was very difficult for me. It costs money to park. It was a waste of trip for me to come down here. I don't feel comfortable parking in this town. I'm thinking I'm going to get a ticket. I didn't get the chance to go inside the restaurant and grab a pizza or something.

WOW! This restaurant had been on my husband's list to try for a while. We are in nearby Fort Lauderdale, and this restaurant is in Miami. So when we were down there for an overnight stay we stopped for lunch. Everything was absolutely incredible. I had the fettuccine alfredo, the best I've had. My husband had chicken parmesan which is one of his go-to's and he felt they were spot on. I had a limoncello crema cocktail that was a cocktail and a dessert wrapped into one and was a real treat. The garlic rolls were also wonderful. We loved this experience so much, that we ordered a couple of pizzas to go so that we could bring them home to freeze, and have more great food over the next couple of weeks. (By the way, both my husband and I had leftovers from our meal as well. The portions are extremely generous). I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. On top of all of that, the ambiance was wonderful and our server, Amaya, was just as much of a joy, as any of the food or ambiance was. Friendly, courteous, professional. . .just great. Thanks, Crust, for a great ending to our foray into Miami.

The food was excellent and the chicken parmigiana has been my favorite dish. Drinks from the bar were on point as well.

We have been dining at Crust since they first opened. After Anita and Klime sold the business, we were concerned that things would change.At fist, they did not. Last night, we noticed a few changes: 1. The arugula salad, had a heavier dressing with way too much parmigiana cheese- not the fresh slivers but the processed powder. 2. No fresh pepper was offered and server was very busy with other tables. 3. An automatic 20% tip was added for a table of two. That never happened before. 4. In the past, at the end of each meal Anita came around with a complimentary cordial, they did not do that last night. 5. The valet parking price has been creeping up but $15 is a bit high. 6. Service overall was not very good. On the positive side, the outdoor dining area looks beautiful. It was the perfect night to sit and dine out there.

Reservation was for 8. We waited a half hour to be seated. Food came out for 4/6 of our party. The other 2 waited an additional 15 minutes for their pizza. Had to ask the waiter multiple times for water.

I used to order the chicken parmigiana here because it was priced right and you would receive 3 huge chicken breasts. That’s no longer the case and what you receive now is tiny compared to before. The quality of the chicken parmigiana has sadly gone down.

Didn’t have a good experience, my server could not answer any questions about the menu. Very slow service super loud restaurant. The food wasn’t to my expectations. I ordered branzino and it was extremely dry. They add a 20% auto grat and there’s is no returns in food or modifications. Not coming back

The owner was so sweet and accommodating! And the bartender was so sweet! She end up serving our table outside the patio. She even recommended the GARLIC ROLLS OMG SO GOOD! Every other staff that brought out food and other stuff asked us if we’re okay and if we need anything. The food was DELISH! Had grilled octopus, branzino and cacio e pepe and it was made inside a cheese bowl OMG MUST TRY!

Our first time here and Sebastian, our waiter was extremely friendly and efficient. Food came out quickly and prices were very reasonable. We started with the meatballs and then split a pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious! You have to try the pizza, they are known for the CRUST and now we know why! Probably the best pizza/crust combo in South FL. We learned the chef is from Italy and makes a lot of the pastas in house. We’ll have to go back to try more things. This restaurant came highly recommended and we will definitely recommend it to others! 10/10

Have been to this fantastic place several times. This time service was very lacking. Not knowable on menu, spilled water several times, complained 4 or 5 times to us about work. Not professional at all. Otherwise food and drinks fantastic always fantastic.

Service was great very friendly staff. Appetizers were good to be honest. But the 2 main dishes where shameful. I had to return my salad and they did not even ask if I wanted something else. So I had to eat the main dish of my wife with her and it was not worth the price. Terrasse is close to a bridge so it makes so much noise I had to leave the terrace to go inside where it was so cold with a ridiculous amount of AC. So a very uncomfortable place to dine in.

Not recommended. Food is not good. It is obvious that they made all the food in advance and they heated it before serving it. Some parts are cold and quality really bad. In addition they are very tricky with the bill. They include 20% as a tip in advance, too. When I gave them my credit card to make the payment, they got it and returned some minutes later with the credit card payment slip only. The slip shows the total amount, including the 30% tip and an additional space for tip again. This means that if you are not aware of that, you can include an additional tip again. This is, you will pay tip over the yip previously included. Obviously I won't return to this place and I can't recommend it to anyone. They are acting dishonestly.

Update: I found out that the owners had sold it and that it was under new management. Still decided to eat. Food was okay, portions were not the same (much less and bland tasting), and there were no friendly faces with port at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, will not be going back 😕

Like others have said, Crust has really gone down hill. I travel to Miami 1-2 times per year, and Crust was always top of list for me during each trip. My favorite menu items are gone, and the recipes are not as good. For example, the meatballs are much smaller and seem like the frozen kind that were reheated. They tasted mostly salty, and I wouldn’t order again. My server was very nice but literally knew nothing about the menu. I was dining alone and still had the 20% auto gratuity added without being told. I ended up double tipping because they also still have a line on the bill for gratuity. Really sad to say, as I have loved this place and craved their food for years, but I won’t be back.
