Quick dinner. My mom had gnocchi with meat sauce. I had pasta as well. Food was good. Casual service, sneakers and shorts.

I didn't like the food. Neither the starter nor the main course. Tasteless and overpriced food. I don't recommend it mainly for the food.

This is my fourth time at the Riviera Focacceria, I highly recommend..! You must have the Foccacia con Formaggio the original, all the pastas and the rissoto are great..!!

Tasty authentic Italian in Miami! This is not American-Italian, but as if you are in really in Italy. Incredible fish and pasta dishes. Reminded me of Roberto's on Arthur Ave. I had breaded chicken with a fresh tomato salad. Calamari was light and fresh, sauce was even better. Excellent service. Took a client for lunch, will be going here often.

Family came out here to celebrate my moms birthday, the restaurant was told it was a birthday reservation and we’d be celebrating. Here are the worst 3 things we experienced here. 1.Dirty glasses, im talking literal stains and crumbs on them (disgusting). 2. Ladies bathroom toilet was literally flooding so I couldn’t go, when I went up to tell the manager as a courtesy she mockingly said “mhm THANKS” followed by a cruel smile? If it sounds ridiculous to you, trust me, it was. The server standing next to her had to make up for her nastiness and tell me in a pleasant tone“thank you for letting us know, we’ll see to it.” 3. At the end of the dinner I was offered to look at the dessert menu and said “no, thank you” this manager was BOLD enough to go up to the birthday person and tell them personally “I would’ve brought you something to celebrate ~on the house~ but you didn’t even want to see the dessert menu so you wont be getting one.” My mom was just genuinely so hurt that this restaurant manager tried to sour her evening by intentionally making things uncomfortable for her. Would love to speak to the owner about manager qualifications at this establishment.

Calamari: crispy and fresh no salt 7/10 Verde salad: crispy and fresh yet forgettable (how about those 3 paper thin apple slices) 6/10 presentation not good. Brasso: tender yet extremely dry , sauce tastes store bought. 5/10 lasagna: 7/10 With a small menu i would expect better presentation and thoroughness. Do you want return customers? Customer service and attentiveness relative to inflated reviews , price point and location 4/10 Texting behind the counter ... at least go in the back, So forgettable, incredulous of the star ratings.

The food was superb! You will find plates different from the typical Italian restaurant. 100% recommended.

È ormai risaputo che una delle cose importanti per noi italiani è mangiare bene, soprattutto all’estero dove cercano di venderti cibo italiano quando di italiano non hanno nulla o forse solo l’insegna come nel film di Checco Zalone, qui invece troverete personale italiano gentilissimo che vi farà sentire a casa e cibo italianissimo, devo dire che ho mangiato meglio in questo locale che in molti locali in Italia, raccomando vivamente.

A great find when we were visiting Miami. The service was definitely the best we have had during the trip. Our server, Nicolas, was really friendly and helpful. The food was mostly good, however sadly my Saffron Risotto was really salty. I’m still giving this 5 stars as the other dishes were perfection and assume this was just an anomaly.

Serata a Miami alla ricerca di sapori italiani, in particolare genovesi. Per l'occasione abbiamo prenotato. L'ambiente ha le luci soffuse e questo crea la giusta atmosfera. Anche l'arredamento fa italiano, senza sfociare nei classici cliché delle trattorie di casa nostra all'estero. Focaccia e carciofi fritti di antipasto, poi trenette al pesto e ravioli al ragù genovese: antipasti sfiziosi e primi cotti a puntino. Serata con tante persone local e un paio di tavoli di connazionali.

The food was outstanding! We loved everything we ordered. We recommend this restaurant. Also, the service was fantastic! We were impressed; this is a place we will be back to when we are back in Miami.

The owner attended to us. We’ve been going for years. The food is always good. They update the menu, and have creative specials. The wine selection is curated and ample. It’s always a delicious meal and it is a relaxed atmosphere — one can actually have a conversation.

This was our second time coming here from out of town and it was just as great as the first time! The pasta never disappoints and the flavors are always on point! The ambiance and service were great, truly a great place to try if you’re wanting some quality, authentic Italian!

Riviera Focacceria Italiana (@rivierafocacceriamiami) is that small neighborhood Italian restaurant you've been looking for. The mushroom is one of the best dishes of pasta I've ever had. Enough said 😋... oh, and did I mention they are puppy friendly? 🐶 The nutella dessert was a bit underwhelming- maybe the description needs to be modified to avoid let downs. Spectacular food- great service- and fun, casual setting. Our sever Nicolas was professional and efficient. I am a vegan and a real pain. The food was prepared expertly. Loved it.

Cannot recommend this place enough. As an expat Italian it can be hard to find authentic Italian regional cuisine in the US. Finding real made to order focaccia al formaggio / di Recco is almost impossible. Riviera serves the best focaccia I’ve experienced outside of Italy (and my family is from Genova). If you’re in Miami do yourself a favor, eat at Riviera and order one or more large trays of focaccia al formaggio. Rest of the menu is great too but the focaccia is what really makes it a special spot.

I travel for work and have to eat out at restaurants 2-4x each week to “survive.” Usually never motivated enough to post a review but y’all…this is the first bolognese (ravioli on the menu) I’ve had that made me audibly exclaim “God damn” the second I ate it. You need to eat here. Need.

We had an amazing time, our server was so sweet and attentive to our 1 year old girl. Our other two daughters enjoyed very much their Spaghetti al Pomodoro, which is a win for us, and the portion was just right. My husband and I ordered Bresaola as an appetizer, and it was excellent; it had thinly-sliced Parmesan cheese that paired perfectly with the meat. I decided to go for Linguine di Mare which was very good, although it definitely had the taste of the sea. You could tell that the juices of the seafood were added to the sauce, so a little bit goes a long way. My husband picked Ravioli Ragú Genovese which was a perfect amount and delicious. Overall our visit was very pleasant, and we will definitely go back to try new things.

Best pasta dishes in Miami! And the rest of their menu is also among the best Italian food I have had in town. If most of the table around you are Italian customers, you know this is the real deal :-) Great service too, Highly recommend this hidden gem!
