Love this place. It's always clean and good service.

Fries were great, and food came out extremely quick. They messed up my blizzard twice. Asked for chocolate chip cookie dough and got chocolate chip twice. Guy who took the order needed everything repeated 3-5 times and still had things incorrect. Took about 10 minutes to order 2 meals with zero line.

Food came out pretty quick, the rugs in the dining room looked like that hadn’t been cleaned in days. I had to repeat my order to the man at the counter (who was definitely high) almost 4 times before he got it right, and he still rung us up for the wrong blizzard. Front counter smelled like weed. When they “fixed” the blizzard they threw away the first one and we still ended up with the wrong one. This is NOT a chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard. The rest of the food was fine.

Got a blizzard from here, it was like a soup. Called and the manager got really rude with me, said he would remake it but cant gurantee its not ganna be soup again. Lol i thought the whole point was you could flip it over. Dont want a refund or remade just leaving bad review cause manager got smart and rude.

Good soft serve blizzards. The other foods are actually better than most.

Been here quite a few times but last night between probably 7-8 pm the young man working the register was phenomenal!! He was so sweet and very kind. GOOD JOB

Dairy Queen, you impressed me today! For a while now, other fast food restaurants never make the burger that looks like the picture. I should have taken a picture before taking bites of the burger. This burger looked just like the picture! The burger tasted great of course, but how it looked caught my attention. The bun wasn't crushed, the tomato and onion were stacked perfectly. Just enough toppings, Etc. This might seem silly to point out, but I've had so many burgers that look pathetic. It's just nice to eat a good burger that actually looks like the picture.

Recently ordered their chocolate fudge cream blizzard cake and it was good but disappointed in the oreo crunch in the middle of the cake which was thin, barely there. In my opinion, not worth $35 for an 8in cake. Dairy Queen also does not offer military discounts. But the guy who rang me up said they serve the military

The burger was cold It tasted like it was pre-cooked. If you get ice cream, though, it was a 5. That was great, but the burger was sad it was a -5.

We traveled 30 minutes just to eat here. The cheeseburgers were good. The blizzards were even better. Customer service was good, and all of the employees were pleasant.

I went to buy at the drive thru and the girl who took my order has a very bad attitude towards customer service, she has no attitude towards customer service.

Food is terrible at best, onion rings are like greasy fried rubber bands, fries are cold and limp , hot dog is not good. Had a single hamburger and it was ok. Would absolutely not recommend this dq

Overall decent food albeit the tenders are small for the price. I found the french fries to be of good quality. The service was average but they forgot my extra sauces. Stick to the ice cream if you want the best value and what they are known for.

I just want to order food not eat in the lobby I came in at 850 and and lobby closed at 9 just enough time to ordered and get out the employee with a bread gave me the most disgusting look when I can in and made made me feel Uncomfortable and asked if the front was open and said no and it was just enough time for me to order

Was already great, but they recently did a remodel about a year or so ago so now even better. We had a Dairy Queen in about every town I lived in growing up and they've never disappointed. Always brings back fond memories of my youth. My sisters worked at a Dairy Queen and always brought us home treats from there. Tastes the same as always and love their ice-cream. I always grab a box of buster bars from my freezer at home and my girls normally always requests one of their frozen birthday cakes. I wish we had one in Crestview. I'd believe one would really do well here but until then I will continue to make the trip to Niceville.

The older gentleman with the white facial hair acted strange. Everything else was good.

It's fast food, pretty tasty for the most part. Good desserts. Customers are whiny around this area, but the service was good and the workers did their best to meet the high traffic. Has a cool vibe inside too.

I went thru the drive thru this afternoon for my lunch and "les" was the one working the drive thru. Yall need to give that man a rasie. He was super nice and very polite!! Good for you les!

They are always quick, even when the line is long and they give my dogs treats in the drive through, arguably the best part!

Well I ordered 2 foot long chili cheese dogs an 2 LG milk shakes i get home an i get 2 reg.chili cheese dogs an they charged me 14.00 an change i know 2 Lg milk shakes are 9 an change so i called an a guy says we don't serve foot long hot dogs then why didn't she tell me that I would have ordered something different 2 small hotdogs weren't gonna fill me an my husband up so I gave mine to my husband, I go there every night for 2 Lg milkshakes every night ,then i thought the guy hung up on me so I called back an nobody would answer go figure an they weren't busy at all good one y'all.

My daughter, who is a minor, used to work here and I made her quit. The manager is so incompetent. She gave them her availability and then part way through the week they would change her schedule without notice to days and times I was not available to get her there. They also have withheld 2 paychecks from her over a shirt. I’ll be paying a visit today for her paychecks and will also be filing a complaint with department of labor. Please do not let your kids work here. They take advantage of minors assuming they don’t know any better. See the Florida statute listed below. Stopped by for some ice cream for the family and had a great time. It was very clean and the staff was great.

Pulled up at 9:40pm after last nights football game for a treat. I was the second car in the drive thru after our brief wait behind the car in front of me we pull up to the speaker to order where we were greeted approx 10 mins prior to the POSTED closing time. Once I had my order together and attempted to place it nobody would answer back so I pulled around to the window to see what the issue was to then see what appeared to be the manager of the facility look right at me, shut every light in the establishment off as well as every light in the parking lot off without saying a word! When I then attempted to speak to him to ask if they were close what the issue was, he turned his back on me and disappeared! Mind you there was a line to Highway 20 at this point in the drive-through. I was at your establishment with plenty of time before closing, I was greeted by you and asked to hold one moment to only be left there without the common decency of a manager to come back across the speaker and say I’m sorry we’re closed etc. then have him turn his back on me And walk away with no answer as to why we are not being served as well as every other person in that drive-through. I have never seen such disgusting service in my life if you post that your hours at your establishment are that you are open until 10pm then that means you were there to service customers all the way up until 10pm! Your establishment is garbage and it seems to be a consistent trend with all of your reviews that I am reading. Instead of every response I am seeing you reply with as I am sorry to hear this or I am sorry you didn’t have a pleasurable experience. How about you take those reviews and you implement changes and fix the problem! you disgust me and I will never ever come back to your establishment again! My recommendation for you to start by firing that wimpy excuse of a man disrespectful manager that you have behind counter first!!

Stopped by the other day (after dealing with Okaloosa Gas in Valparaiso), for a long-anticipated chocolate cookie-dough Blizzard. We haven't had a proper DQ in Ft Walton Beach in 18+ years (the old DQ is now a Captain D's on Hwy 98). So the only time we have the opportunity to get DQ is when we're up in Niceville. I went through the drive-thru and had only one car in front, so the wait wasn't bad at all. My Blizzard came out great (I love the upside-down Blizzard thing to show how thick it is!). The service was great, friendly and everyone looked happy to be there. And the chocolate cookie dough Blizzard treat was delicious!! (As a quick aside, I ended up paying for the person in the car behind me because they looked somewhat sad and with our current economy being so horrible, it really wasn't much for me to "pay it forward" to cheer up another person. It also made me smile to watch the person's confusion then joy over a stranger's kindness. I really appreciate the young lady working the drive thru for helping me do this, too.)

Was sad that we downloaded the app for the 85 Cent blizzard but we only got to use it for one person for our party of three and then we didn't even get to use it because we downloaded the app but we didn't get the coupon and only one blizzard had whipped cream had to pay regular price was really sad

I guess the service and atmosphere are five star. Seeing as they didn't have any ice cream at all to sell. I can understand equipment problems, but on 105° day, you would think management would have a backup plan. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't dairy Queen and ice cream place? 😉

Please turn your freezers down to keep the icecream cool and your AC down. The last 3 occasions we have been, you have not flipped the blizzards which you are supposed to do! Instead served them with a lid on top and driving away we realize all the blizzards are basically milkshakes that my kids will not eat and spill everywhere. $20 down the drain.

Someone named Robbie seems to have a leadership position. Teens who work there seem frightened, intimidated, and poorly managed. Who is responsible for youth workplace abuse? There is a large turnover. This is small town America. Such a shame.

This was best fast food I’ve ever tasted in my life. The Racoon sitting on my table was very friendly. The children there were lovely, very beautiful. Excellent kids to look at.

I came in on Monday at 1:35 ish and the restaurant was very clean, guy behind the counter was very professional and the food came out VERY fast like within a minute, and it was actually one of the best fast food burgers I’ve had. Will definitely be coming back.

Haven’t been here since early 2022. My sister and I come in 6/22/23 on a rainy night for blizzards. We’re held up constantly by the customer ahead of us it’s no different at the pick up window after a long wait the lady has runny blizzards waiting I ask her for more frozen ones she takes them and is partially hidden behind a wall with all her co workers staring at us she brings back what feels like more frozen blizzards fast forward to the 4 minutes it took us to get home the blizzards are liquid and all she did was put the last of wat was frozen at the top

Love DQ ice cream and this store is nice since it was remodeled.

A storm suddenly blew in and so we decided to pull into Dairy Queen for shelter and a quick snack. The food was fresh and good and the manager and staff were so friendly! Thanks Niceville Dairy Queen!

sign on door and online said closed at 10 and we got here at 9:20 and they locked the door and were basically closing early. not sure if there is a communication issue or what but all the employees were sitting in the lobby

Hadn’t been to DQ in a long time. Decided to get our favorite blizzards. Unfortunately they were both almost watery. Flavor was good, but didn’t really want milkshakes.

I used to love DQ but today changed that. I can forgive one oops but it was down right gross. The fries were old & tasted like fish which makes me think the grease hasn't been changed in a long time. My husband's burger was undercooked. The whole reason I went there was for a Butterfinger Blizzard and instead they gave me one with pop rocks???? It was gross. So gross. But, now I know never to go there again I just wish I didn't pay them to teach me that lesson.

Bacon cheeseburger was good. Hadn't been to the Niceville DQ in years and they've improved. The cashier was friendly. Atmosphere was typical of DQ, families with kids, a little noisy. Didn't get to try their ice cream treats as we were in a hurry, but we plan on going back this time having seen their improvements.

In town on vacation. Stopped to order ice cream and the man who was taking orders in the drive thru was the most rude, unprofessional person I have ever encountered. I am shocked they have someone like this working here.

Last time we used the drive thru the person working was having a rough day, or so it seemed with their bad attitude!

Just called to talk to the manager about an issue with my daughters order and he lied about his name, Robbie said his name was John, was very rude and refused to fix the issue. He also informed me that I should have raised my daughter better because she didn't call and take care of it herself.

Love the chicken strip basket and a blizzard for lunch! Wish we had a DQ in Crestview. Niceville's DQ never disappoints us!

Niceville remodeled their store not long ago and it feels clean and updated now. The lady that took care of us was very friendly and made sure we were good throughout our experience there. I ordered the $7 cheeseburger meal that came with a sundae. She was thoughtful to ask if we wanted our ice cream after we ate so it did not melt. Then she came over to our table to see if we were ready for her to bring our dessert. One of the better DQs I've been to.

Clean store, one of the only locations nearby. I love the blizzards and cheese curds. Though they must have had an issue with theft because the freezer that holds the ice cream cakes and stuff has a very loud buzzer when opened.

Didn't quite get the blizzard we ordered (be very specific) and got short-changed a dollar with my money back but you can hardly fault the worker as he is doing multiple jobs at once.

Same owner as Danny’s. So, same issues. Obviously poor leadership skills. Poor representation of the Dairy Queen trademark. The owner should leave off copy / pasted cheap response, get out from behind the desk and fix their issues.

They took our fort Walton store away years ago and I have not had dairy Queen ice cream in a long time. So it was a big treat.

Since they have opened back up from whatever they was doing to the place I have went there multiple times and it never fails i order a blizzard and it's so runny that you can't eat it. It's like soup literally not even the consistency of a milk shake . If I wanted a drink I would order a drink not a blizzard.

Been there 3 times in the last 4 months. First time and old man tried to fight me in the parking lot because he thought I was blocking him in while in the drive through line. 2nd time I sat in the drive through for 15 minutes to find out when I got to the window that the fryers were broke. 2 months later I try a third visit and the fryers broken again. 3 strikes your out DQ.

Had a great experience at Dairy Queen in Niceville. Amazing food and fast service. They seem to have some new employees that are just learning…great job guys!

Last time here I ordered a chili dog and got a hot dog with no chili this time ordered a fish sandwich with mayo only and got a fish sandwich with tarter sauce and lettuce. Their fries taste old too like they have been sitting around. I will stick to coming here for their dip top cone and no food.

Love the dilly bar! It wasn't available last time I went so glad it is back! Tried their turtle ice cream and it is amazing! Liked it so much we went back two days later and had it again!

Very impressed with the 3 young staff keeping up with a extremely busy day . Didn't even have to wait but a few minutes with the line at the drive-thru lined up constantly but moving right along and inside lined up !! And there were 6 of us

The ice cream was good. I don’t think the staff had ever spoken to anyone else before. They were very uncomfortable and barely acknowledged our presence. It was like pulling teeth to order. A little bit of communication training would go a long way. The AC was broken and it was very hot inside the dining area.

Food was fine but teens running the counter weren’t too focused on the job. Furthermore it was like 90 degrees inside causing all our blizzards to be melty. We had to go to the counter requesting missing items or mistakes around 7 times. I would really like some more effort put in by the staff.

Took my three year old daughter and I here to grab a quick bite of ice cream inside to cool off on a hot day. I have been here three DIFFERENT times in hopes they’ve changed since they remodeled and opened and it is insane. The inside looks good but not when you’re practically sweating even eating ice cream. It’s seriously not even logical to keep this place so hot. It feels well over 75 degrees in here so by the time you get a blizzard it’s practically half melted. This business needs to fix their a/c or stop holding back on ensuring their customers are comfortable.

Constantly gets orders wrong drive thru. Go inside and usually have to clean up your table before you sit and still get orders wrong. I just give up on them. If i could give no stars i would.

Renovations are a huge improvement. $24 for 4 kids a ice cream. The triple chocolate brownie only has one scoop of ice cream and it needs 2.

Asked for a slaw dog. They gave me chili cheese dog. When I went back to the counter the owner told me they no longer had slaw and that I could go buy it from next door.

Updated review,if you're not getting ice cream then avoid this place,teens hired help can't do their jobs right 🤷‍♂️ ordered a 4 piece chicken tenders meal,got 3 tenders,half the fries you're supposed to get and the wrong dipping sauce,how hard is it to read a ticket and put stuff in a to go box right? 🤷‍♂️ paying $10 for a meal,should get what I ordered,not half of it right,hard to find good help tho isn't it,,would I recommend this place to eat at? No,avoid it unless you're going inside then at least you can complain to the manager when the food isn't right 🤷‍♂️

June 2022 First time came back after reopening. Friendly staff. Price increased as expected but Sadly the quality went down.... --------------------------- Summer 2021 Long line at times lately due to short of staff. Kids enjoyed the cold treats.

They recently remodeled. Nice clean restaurant. I like the food and I filled the price range is decent too. And then ice cream makes me happy.
