Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant in Niceville - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

Was traveling to Niceville .. people recommend it .. we called 7 times NO ONE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE. Lost our business for sure ! Would have spent close to 100$

For take-out Chinese, we prefer Jin Jin in Niceville to the one in Crestview. Portions are much larger, food is served hot, and the service is great.

I'm a lifelong Niceville resident. Jin-Jin had always been second best to the now defunct Hong Kong. But when Hong Kong started to crumble and subsequently closed, I started going to Jin-Jin regularly. Well, that was up until the product quality began to slip, and I eventually stopped going to Jin-Jin altogether. Quite frankly, it's been many years since I've stepped foot in this place. Today, I had a hankering for some chinese food and decided to give Jin-Jin another go. The lady behind the counter exchanged no pleasantries and took my order almost immediately, as a small child colored next to her. The restaurant was clean, although it's definitely showing its age. The food was mediocre at best and wasn't worth what I paid for it. The flavor was somewhat bland, some of my vegetables were undercooked, and there was hardly any meat. To make matters worse, I ordered enough food for two people, and I got only one fortune cookie 🥠... How dare they! 😲 I'm very sorry to say, I now know why I stopped going to Jin-Jin. I don't think I'll ever go back, and that makes me sad. This is one of the few places left in Niceville that I remember from my adolescence. Owner: If there's anything I can do to help, please feel free to reach out. I'm not certain of the challenges involved in running a chinese restaurant, but I sure pray that you guys get it figured out. This kind of thing will ruin a restaurant!

The lady was rude, I order the 10 wings and shrimp fried rice. They gave me only 7 wings and half a container of shrimp fried rice for $25 bucks. Never going there again.

Walked in, I'm the only customer, the child (14 yrs old) to busy on her cell phone ignored me. A second customer walks in behind me. Still no response or acknowledgement from your employe on her phone texting. I finally just left. Horrible service, truth is, No Service!!!

Food was really good. Lady at the register could be a little kinder. Maybe she was having a bad day. My first time there, will consider going back.

Waited an hour for barely warm food. The spring rolls were mostly wrapper with a few soggy vegetables. The combination fried rice was dry and kind of crunchy and had a 6 shrimp in the whole container. The sesame chicken was more breading than chicken. The other members of our party had similar feedback on the other items we ordered. The best things in the entire order were the fortune cookies and the condiments. Definitely will not go back to Jin Jin in the future. The order was called in for pick up and we were told it would be ready in an hour. No third party was involved. Even if one was, that's no excuse for poor quality food.

Chicken was tough. Rice was crunchy. Spring rolls lacked filling. Only good thing was the shrimp in the fried rice.

The cashier paused when it came time to take my payment so that she could *thoroughly* wipe her child’s nose (YES, the child was in the kitchen area) only to offer me the same hand to take my payment. I was a bit nauseous (and way turned off!) at this time and should’ve just canceled my order, but I didn’t. I ordered the spicy beef dish and it was composed of about 95% onions and green peppers, neither of which were listed as part of this dish. I could literally put the beef that was in the dish in the palm of my hand. I definitely won’t be returning.

Really gone down hill lately. The fried rice was so dry and had almost nothing in it but the rice. Beef lo mein had very little beef and it was chewy. Service is pretty rude, just take your money and hand you the food, no smile, no thank you. We won't be going back anymore.

The food is mediocre leaning to bad, but what really got me is when I went to use the bathroom... There was no soap... For anyone. The fried Spring rolls are crispy and tasty. Both fried and steamed dumplings are great. In fact everything I’ve has been good til tonight. I won’t ever get the rice noodles again. You're definitely going to read some extreme differences in reviews for this restuarant but this is mine... Jin Jin in Niceville is very good. I love their Sesame Chicken best. I do wish they would put more veggies in the friend rice but that's just me.. It could use some updating but is always clean with a few tables to eat at inside. The staff is quick and friendly and the price is average & fair for the amount of food. I have a shellfish allergy and have no issues eating here, which s a huge plus for me.
