Love this place, it’s a little Easter egg of niceville

The service was fast chicken and red beans delicious

The sweat tea is hit or miss, but everything ele is on point!

This place is just too good. The chicken, mashed potatoes, the dumplings, the biscuits are the way to go! Everytime I go to Danny. The food and service is always consistent. If you’re looking for some great southern food without frills, I highly recommend that you take a trip out to Niceville.

This place is awesome. The food is GREAT, the service is a 10 and the atmosphere reminds me of my home town in a way. Definitely eating here again SOON

The food is Awesomely good the prices are fair but customer service is lacking they are very short rushing you to order then do not get your order correct Come on this place has been here way to long to be having communication and customer service issues this was a disappointing visit when. You have been here this long there is a certain level of expectation and they failed to meet that expectation today. Danny's I am from here I know you can do better please prove it.

The portion of food you received a year ago vs. today is down 1/3 they forgot how to make sweet tea, the chicken is cold they somehow have managed to give you less food, and charge you the same the mashed potatoes is one scoop with no gravy just a teaspoon of gravy I’ve been been visiting Danny’s fried Chicken for 20+ years and they place has turned into 1star place right there with gas station chicken traditions on the decline all the old faces that made that place what it was I know longer see working there I won’t be supporting this so called family owned business any longer always went there after highschool games growing up it’s a shame to see what it has become $70 dollars to feed 3 people is absolutely insane for fast food fried chicken, and I see there current staff giving positive reviews to boost there lie

Saturday July 27th 3pm. Because your employees are not trained, they allow Customers to walk in with the family DOG!!!! Only Labradors and German Sheppard are Service dogs in Florida. they are not issued to a person until 8 years of age. This place, Danny's is so Hick!! The dog didn't even have a leash on and your employees are clueless.

Great place with great food. Inexpensive, quick service, very pleasant experience.

Love Danny's. Food is great, restaurant is nothing fancy but frankly who cares. It's clean, they get your food out to you and it's hot. Never had an order wrong or been unhappy going there.

I been here several times! Overall experience is great ! I highly recommend the chicken and dumplings 🥟! Really good 😊 parking is slim and the line for the drive thru can get long ! There are tons of seatings inside. I had the friend shrimp 🍤 it was okay but I did had the fried chicken 🐔 dinners before and that is good !

The fried bone in chicken reminds me of Church’s chicken. It’s greasy and crunchy. The stars of the show are definitely the sides in my opinion! The potato salad was the best tasting I ever had from a restaurant and the bbq baked beans were sweet and smokey so yum! The sides are small which is disappointing bc they are so delicious but for the price u can’t beat it. The biscuit had a flour taste like the dough was mixed well- my least fav item. I will definitely return for of course more sides and maybe tenders next time. Fast and friendly service!

Poor service, and watching the employees eat off the food line was disgusting. They kept putting their hands in the food and then in their mouth. Never again.

Not worth $55 for 4 people. The fish was soggy. The chicken was dry. The beans and slaw were good. The cashier didn't get our order right. They locked all the doors but 1 on us at 750pm. We will save our money and go somewhere else next time.

The Jamaican girl w the braides had horrible customer service skills. I ordered 2 small mashed potatoes she gave me one and she got smart when I asked about it. The tenders was cold. I had to repeat my order 3 times. It was my second and last time going.

I have to travel to Niceville a couple of times a year. I always make Danny's a must do destination when I go. It is some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. The chicken & dumplings are great too! The staff is always friendly and provide fast service. Danny's is a must do. Believe me you will not regret it!

Came across this restaurant accidentally on my way home from Florida to Augusta. Best decision I had made. Food and customer service was amazing.

Food is decent. They have specials. Ask people in line about menu items who’ve eaten there because the customer service isn’t all that great. They act as if you should already know everything even if you’ve never been there. Ask a question about a menu item and you get met with a silly look instead of an answer. Hospitality is a dying talent.

They sponsor our Golf Tournament every year. Owner and staff is amazing. Food is always on time and staff is always willing to help. Highly recommended and the golfers look forward to Danny's Fried Chicken!

Just moved to the area. Everyone kept telling me to try this place and they weren't lying! Everything was fresh and probably my favorite fried chicken I ever had.

If you want good, southern cooking that's fast then this is the place! Delicious fried chicken and the rice stuffing is yummy. If you like livers, those are THE best I've had and use the Danny's sauce to dip. My husband likes the gizzards. Service is great, friendly for a fast food place. The atmosphere is a 4 because, well, it's fast food. If you've never been there or are on your way to the airport from Niceville, stop in... you won't be disappointed.

A staple of the area, been around since I can remember. They updated their menu boards to digital just last December. Great food, great prices, fast and friendly service.

Who the heck tells their customers you can only have certain things on certain days!!?? Why bother with a damn biscuit when all they give you is MELTED butter? Was 1000 times better before bougie remodle. Won't be back. Ruined a local favorite.

I would give Danny's a 5 star review because I love the food but I'm going to hold two stars hostage. The reason is, I love their macaroni and cheese and you can only get it on Sundays. That's unacceptable so I will hold on to these last two stars until they start selling the macaroni and cheese all the time. Yes I know this is extortion but a travesty like this requires drastic measures.

This place is a landmark in town , they have the best chicken and dirty rice the staff is always fun and friendly , and the food is top notch , it is not your everyday run of the mill chicken shack hands down can't be beat , and oh yeah try the Danny's sauce it will blow your hair back

No frills, clean, nice family restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Chicken was fried to perfection. Much better than any of the big name chicken restaurants. The sides taste like great home cooking. Definitely worth return visits.

We've only had takeout chicken and it's really tasty. Not greasy at all. Service is above normal. Pricing is high and we never get more than 2 pieces of white meat. There should be an equal balance between white and dark chicken in a box.

I found this place riding through with my husband. WOW fried chicken is very tasty! Crispy and hot! Rice dressing , potato salad and Lima beans all DELICIOUS!!!!!! Seasoned well and delicious. We also tried the Danny sauce. It’s like a homemade honey mustard sauce with chopped fine almost minced jalapeños. Everything was absolutely delicious. I will be back! Customer service for drive thru was on point!!! We left nothing but crumbs in our box ! Must try!

Ordered $30 worth of food for our family tonight and it is filled with gnats. I tried to call and get a solution to the problem and was hung up on. Needless to say I will be reporting them to the Department of Health and I will never be back. 🤮 Attached it’s a sample of what was in my daughters food. Thank goodness I dumped it on a plate before she ate it. Otherwise we would have never see all of them on the bottom of the container.

Some darn good fried chicken. The line wrapped around the building and parking was full. When you eat the chicken, you can understand why. Crunchy skin and juicy meat. Drive thru employees were fast and friendly.

This is a place we go to for about once or twice a week. Sometimes we have to take a early lunch so 10:00 there is not much but the lousy chain fast food. Well this is the place that is ready to deliver you a great lunch. I have been going here for years and love it still -- never had a bad meal. I think Wednesday's blue plate is the best. They make a great cheese broccoli side dish. Friday the special is catfish.

My first time getting take out from here only because one of my students suggested it.. it was pretty good.. fried like I'm using to having and the fried mushrooms were delicious. And I like the wings.

Lil chicken joint, clean, friendly staff, fast delivery of food. The tenders are small but you get a pile of em. The red beans and rice were good but needed more rice. The Mac and cheese was soupy, my son was disappointed.

Love Danny's I always get chicken liver and gizards. It's cheap only thing I can afford but always amazing hot fresh. Always close before 9pm. Got there at 8:30pm should put hours on there if you close at 8:30pm then put closed this is the second time I get there a little after 8pm and they close on me. Sucks. Just went their today June 17 try to get boneless chicken 16 pieces but they gave me a bunch of random pieces of bone in chicken. Was very disappointed! Also I wanted half pound of liver and gizzards mixes and they gave me a pound. Got charge 40$ for to much of one thing and didn't even get me the right chicken. My husband won't eat chicken with the bone in. I called to talk but Sherry just gave me the run around like. I know what I asked for but I can tell you it's not what I wanted or got! Very disappointed.

First time coming here, didn’t know that you can’t add to your order at the window. They were very rude. Told me I couldn’t add pointed to the sign in the window. I let the gentleman know that it was my first time coming and would be my last. He was new and apologized but the lady helping was not very nice. Poor customer service

Happy people work here. Some good eating. Ordered the daily special for Thursday, Pork Chop with sides. Wow it was great. Enjoyed the sides first, they were so tasty. Took it the way they offer it, without changing anything. You pay for great food, not fancy neon lights. Ordered a one pound mix of gizzards and livers to go. Could hear so many ordering them, I wanted to try too. June 13 visit : Tuesday has the meatloaf special. Decided on chicken with the daily special sides. Okra and tomatoes was the best !
