Very helpful walking through the process of dressing up your own paleta. Fruit ones were really refreshing and the milkier ones were not overly sweet which was nice. They have some ice based paletas and cream/milk based ones 1. Peanut Butter Cup paleta + toasted marshmallow fluff + graham cracker crumbs + mini marshmallows + cookie butter drizzle 2. Strawberries & Cream paleta + 1/2 chocolate dip + oreo crumbs + graham cracker crumbs + white chocolate drizzle 3. Cookie & Cream paleta + 1/2 chocolate dip + oreo crumbs + mini Reese's pieces + cookie butter drizzle

Absolutely delicious paletas. They are all made fresh and super creamy. They do have water based options for those who are dairy free. They have so many toppings you won’t know what to do with! We ordered a coconut based paleta dipped in chocolate topped with almonds and coconut flakes. Key lime paleta dipped in white chocolate with cookie butter drizzle. Chocolate paleta dipped in chocolate topped with Oreo crumbs and mnms. Last one is a mint paleta dipped in chocolate topped with Oreo crumbles and chocolate drizzle. 10000000/10!!!! Highly recommend!!

Expensive ice-cream, but tasted pretty good.

The paletas were delicious, and the service was excellent. I thought the best part was the unique way the paletas were dipped in chocolate.

OBSESSED with this place!!! I crave these paletas every day. They’re as light or decadent as you want. I loveee the toasted almond with almonds and peanut butter with peanuts and cookies and cream and the fruity ones… yum!! They’re all amazing. The paleta place near me in nyc closed so I have to stock up whenever I’m in ct! Cutest store and nicest service! 11/10

I love this place! But the last few times I have tried to come, 30/40 minute before closing it seems to always be closed early and employees seem to just be sitting paying no mind. Not sure if there’s new closing times but if so it’d be great if it was updated!

Always delicious! Great variety. It's obvious these are made with quality ingredients. No prices posted. The paleta plain is about 5.25 each now. Toppings are xtra. The servers are genuinely polite and attentive. So tip also. You will not be disappointed. Most likely you will be a regular

EDIT: This is a TERRIBLE response coming from the owner. Now I understand where the staff gets it from. The lady helping us tried charging for 5 toppings (50 cents each) until we asked. Our receipt says “Ashley”as the cashier. Maybe fix that then ? —— The new pricing is bad, they now charge you per topping. The woman (Ashley) helping us didn’t explain it until the end and was really hostile when we asked. We used to enjoy this place, but now I don’t recommend.

Went here today. Definitely recommend. They have so many different options. We did the coconut paleta with Nutella toppings, coconut shreds and almonds. We also had the tiramisu paleta with caramel on top.staff was super friendly. 10 outta 10. Go check them out!!

Definitely a good choice, excellent flavors, many toppings to pick from, but my very favorite was the water based ice cream. So much flavor. We had blueberry and passion fruit and they both were flavorful. And for our decorating ice cream we chose, 1. Almond ice cream, with white chocolate, coconut, almond ,pistachios the other one was coconut ice cream, white chocolate, strawberry/gram crackers, with butter cake drizzle

The best paletas and a good service

DGP is a nice switch up in the frozen confections niche dominated by ice cream and froyo shops. Latin style ice pops (paletas) are a fun portable switch up from the traditional cone and a bit more polished than your basic supermarket freezer pop. Natural ingredients, fresh fruits, and unique flavor combinations are sure to be found here. Each one looking as inviting as the next, mangonada, rice pudding, hone lavender are just a few you can try for yourself. The owner is super friendly and they even offer dips & toppings to bring your handheld face cooler over the top. Definitely would recommend any fruit varieties as the flavors really shine. Hands down worth a pit stop when jn the area

OMG, what a great place! First time trying a 'paleta' and it was amazing! Lots and lots of flavors (I had tiramisu dipped in chocolate hazelnut, sprinkled with nuts and toffee), definitely something for everyone. Everything (for both locations) is made fresh in their Shelton place. The young lady working in the Fairfield location (where we visited) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I'll definitely be back. Often!

May 2023. The paletas are a good size, lots of toppings to choose from. They have water based paletas for my fellow vegans or if you just don’t do dairy. There was a girl working there by herself when I went and she has the best attitude and is so helpful. She went over the process and explained the options to a couple of clients that had not been there before. There was a “customer” that was rude and walked out and the employee maintained her great attitude. There are a few seats inside and a bench outside. I went for the first time today and got a banana/nutella paleta with chocolate hazelnut drizzle and graham crackers. So delicious! The person working there was very friendly, and the environment was nice. I will definitely be coming back!

For only going for less than ten times, it feels like hundreds of experiences with nothing but deliciousness! The staff are always so welcoming and kind. Just went today, and the place is awesome. I love going there. It's 100% tied, or maybe even surpasses Sugar Rush as my favorite place to get Ice Cream from! Definitely recommend checking out this real world of wonder! Great place. 😊 🍭

Paletas are very tasty! We tried the pumpkin cheesecake and the Strawberry. Both were great! Great selection of topings as well. Staff is friendly! Def a must try!

First time at Dave’s, in Shelton, got the Banana w/ Nutella dipped in chocolate and it was absolutely delicious!! The sweetness is just right and I could taste the banana and Nutella perfectly!!! Awesome place and great friendly service 😊
