I use to love this place and came multiple times a week. There’s too many coffee shops around to go somewhere that isn’t concerned about customer’s time. Today I order a bagel , wait a long time , then get a cold bagel. I park go in and explain I don’t have time to toast it myself ( they only then explained they can’t toast it which should have been told to me in the drive through) I ask for a yogurt instead they suggest I sit down and wait. I’ve already waited. What happened to customer service and appreciation? Goodness, I won’t be back!

Great little spot for some amazing coffee!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for coffee. Such a cute place. I had the frozen PB mocha and he had the frozen Kona mocha. Both delicious!

I love this local coffee destination!! It has such personality and uniqueness! I love the specialty drinks that you can only find here AND they have gluten-free baked goods (I highly recommend the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffin). The chai latte is delish as well. I wish there were some more privacy seating for those who want to get some work done or those who want to meet a friend and chat … the seating is all in one open room, cozy feeling but open.

I absolutely love this little place! The drive-thru is so convenient on my busy mornings. They are always so kind and I literally just had the BEST zucchini bread this morning.

Staff is amazing. Husband doesn't make the best business decisions 🙄.

My husband and I come here all the time for work. Very inviting cozy working environment. The staff is friendly & the drinks are consistent and tasty! Devon makes such good pastries. Definitely try the banana bread & the scones!

We went here a while ago and fell absolutely in love! The coffee and scones we had were delicious, the employees were so kind, and it was so cozy and comfortable we could have spent so much longer there.

Barista was super friendly & coffee was great. I try & get local coffee over chain shops and this was a great choice.

Favorite coffee shop ever!! Nothing like a small town coffee shop where they remember your name! Best frozen mocha I’ve had anywhere, and I’m somewhat of a connoisseur. Great environment for getting work done, great seating and plenty of outlets. I’m also loving the books and cute gifts they offer now.

Great prices! Friendly and attentive professionals. The atmosphere is chill and warm...i know..an oxymoron. But your no moron for experiencing this amazing jewel of a java joint and so much more. Great books and games to enjoy while sipping back the scrumptious brews. My entire family was raving about the assorted treats and caffeine infused tastiness. I am from out of town, but I stop here everytime i come to Asheville.

Good coffee, slightly aloof staff

Could not be happier with the service, drinks, and food! Highly suggest jalapeño biscuits and an iced Maggie. Everyone is always in good spirits. I've come back so many times already...not sure how I missed leaving a review.

Just stopped in here for coffee/food for a group of 5 folks. Such friendly and accommodating service and LITERALLY this might be the best jalapeño cheddar biscuit in the world. Coffee is also 👌 perfectly 👌 dialed in ☕️ 7/5 Stars ⭐️

My first time at this coffee bar and I loved it! The batista was friendly and my order was extremely tasty - a smooth caramel frappe with a thick slice of banana bread. The value for my money was on point. Well done!

My favorite coffee shop! Their lavender latte is so so good. I usually get it with oat milk. Really convenient that they have a drive thru also! Always friendly and the inside is so cute too. Great spot to chat with a friend or do some work.

This is probably my favorite coffee shop in the area so far. The food and coffee was absolutely amazing and delicious and the vibe is a cozy, calm environment. It’s so cute and a great place to sit and work, especially if you need a little creative boost The seating is a little limited since it’s a small shop but they make the best out of the space, ensuring there’s enough seating vs leaving empty spaces out. 10/10 would recommend

Very sweet coffee and bookshop combo. We tried several different drinks, all winners!

We stopped in for a quick cup of coffee on our way home and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee that wasn't boiling hot, rather it was just right and the taste was spot on. We also learned that Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin fame had stopped in a week or two prior for a visit and bought a book and chatted for a bit. I'm a huge fan and geeked out a little bit about that. Regardless, stop in to get a coffee and a snack and enjoy your time at this cool little shop.

Super cute spot! Had to try the coffee cake because it was the first thing I smelled when we walked in, moist inside and delicious crisp cinnamon sugar outside. Also love the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Got the cafe miel and mexican mocha iced, both really good. Love the atmosphere and enjoyed the outdoor seating with our pop. Came back the next day cause it was so good and right by where we stayed!

This is certainly one of the best coffee shops. They actually have my full-spectrum salt to put in the coffee so the latte was the best I've gotten anywhere. . Really loved the book selection, and the music...

There aren't a lot of chain coffee shops in the area and Daymoon is a great reason why we don't need them. Awesome spot, tucked away JUST enough on Charlotte Highway so that it's not packed all the time, but super convenient for us Fairview folks. Super friendly staff who get to know their regulars. Great menu of various tea and coffee bevs, plus a banana and zucchini breads and muffins. Plenty of gluten and dairy free options, too.

Wow wow wow. Day moon has nailed it when it comes to coffee shops! I just moved to the area after traveling the country and I have to say I might just have discovered my new favorite place! The vibe is awesome, the barista was super nice, and the gf banana bread and my latte was perfection! For a last minute stop I am blown away and my day is set up to be awesome now! Thank you Daymoon for making such an awesome space and also for being so thoughtful to have really quality gluten deee items!

Needed a work space from unexpected power outage. This place was perfect. Wifi good, coffee hot, several roasts to choose from, and zucchini bread was spot on. Staff friendly, great vibe. Thanks Daymoon. Highly recommend and will be back!

adorable, quaint, and cozy. those are the three words i would use to describe inside of daymoon. everyone working was friendly and attentive.my favorite part was the books available to buy. there was a wonderful selection and i was able to find a few books from a kids author that i love! i went through the drive-thru as well (twice) and didn’t wait for a long time. service was prompt. the person taking orders/payment was courteous and asked if i wanted to leave a tip. they thanked me when i said yes. it’s rare to hear someone thank you for a tip especially when it’s not guaranteed. next time we visit i’ll exclusively be buying my coffee drinks from here!

I wish I lived in North Carolina so I could come here every day! It’s my favorite part about visiting! The Maggie is my favorite drink ever. And their banana chocolate chip scones are excellent. Love this place!!

We stopped in early before heading out to explore the city of Asheville and although we were disappointed to hear they were out of smoothies, the waitstaff was incredibly friendly and the coffee turned out to be really good as well as the iced tea! We also bought a book from their amazing collection as they had a ton of really cool books on display! In all the atmosphere is great and I would recommend checking this place out!

Amazing coffee with balanced flavors that aren’t overly sweet, espresso is smooth. Plenty of dairy free options. The gluten free pastries are to die for, especially the banana bread. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Friendly service and good coffee. Despite having a fairly busy drive-thru they made our drinks right after we ordered. Some seating available (we did not have an issue) but I could see it filling up quickly depending on the time. Tasty treats to add made this a worthwhile stop and one we will be back to.

I love Daymoon! I live right down the road and come here pretty much every Saturday to hang out (either with friends or solo), grab a smoothie or coffee, and just chill. It’s a very comforting atmosphere reminding me of the small college town coffee shops I went to in college up north. Everyone’s really friendly and the gluten free treats are great!

Some of the best frape’s in the area. Wife really likes it and will be a regular for us. Went and got some Mexican mocha today and was bomb. Perfect for fall.

Been a couple times, through the drive-thru. Coffee is great, has a wide variety and the pastries have been excellent. Both staff members I've interacted with are very friendly and I feel like they genuinely want to get to know me. Stop by!

Here’s the sitch. I’ve spent one week in total in Asheville (coming from Brooklyn), and I’m pretty sure I’m only giving Daymoon a review. Why? FRIENDLY, generous, great service, and good coffee. It’s been difficult to find folks (mostly in service) who are friendly and outgoing, which only further illuminates and shines a spotlight on how special Daymoon is; in short, highly recommend. Multiple times during your visit.
