I took a group of friends, we chose this place because it offers Brazilian food, the service was terrible, we barely finished eating and the attendant came to ask us to pay the bill, this was totally rude as they demand free of charge, I mean include this in the note, they could just have attendants kind, whatever depends on me we will never go back. P.s: On Instagram you can delete my comment and not here.

Terrible place to eat dry and burnt meat, tasteless food, very little variety of meat, waiters more concerned with their cell phones than serving customers, I don't recommend it, terrible experience for the third time (I only went back because my husband asked) never I come to this place again Terrible dinning place, meat was terrible too dry and burned, food had no flavor, not too many varieties of meat or at the buffet just the basics, employees were more worried about playing on their phones then to help us, it was a terrible experience in an overall, won't recommend this place, very pricey for what they offer, best words to describe it, it's a great place to have a terrible dining experience and get robbed at the end, one of the worst places I ever went, I will never come back into this place, terrible just terrible

Despite the price being a little steep... the quality is worth it... I highly recommend it!!!!

I have always loved this restaurant. The food has always been authentic, the acerola juice, although it is frozen, it was good enough for me. But this time was different. The churrasco was blend, had no taste, no SALT whatsoever, the service was slow even though it was a Sunday afternoon with only 4 tables being occupied. It wasn't our favorite this time around but our kids being their first time there, they loved it. So we'll probably go back one more time.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service was very good. But unfortunately the food left something to be desired. The meat tasted spoiled and the side dishes were bad. We couldn't eat, we paid a lot, a huge tip.

The greeter at the door deserves a raise to take the place of the one I paid my money to. I was hurt to be treated unkind as well as my sister. Food was too salty. The zucchini was on point but still...I was left so sad. If you experience blood pressure issues.. DO NOT EAT THERE!!!! Ok

Delicious food and great service at good prices.

Our host was very friendly and introduced us to traditional Brazilian cocktails (caipirinha and bossa nova). The steak was charred on the outside and medium rare inside, just the way my wife likes it. The staff was nice; the guy who served the meat even brought my wife a plate of grilled pineapples with cinnamon.

I went on a weekday for lunch with a co-worker, good selection at the buffet (prices/lb) of sides, salad, meats, and rodizio meat service. They also have menu with entree options, deserts, coffees, and a full bar. Prices are on the high side for lunch, but I would go back and try it out in the evening on the weekend.

Finding food from Minas Gerais Newark is very good.

1 star for live music Other than that NO Buffet and Rodizio meat was lukewarm to cold. I tried to let the waiter know but he thought because the area around the food was warm the food must be warm too. Everything looked like it’s been sitting there for a while. The plantains were undercooked. Food is salty

This restaurant is very expensive and tipping is mandatory tip is optional If I saw that I received good service I can tip but the service is bad I will never go to this restaurant and I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends. I spent 92 dollars for food and the girl who served me told me the tip is mandatory, I think it's stupid

I strongly caution anyone from coming here. It used to be a very good establishment years ago, but it has sadly changed. The menu is limited and extremely costly. The food quality is average at best. The drinks are expensive and not worth the price point. (2) hamburgers w/ fries; (12) dollars additional for French fries by the way, and a salad with (2) drinks cost us 120.00 $. Stay away and go to one of the Ironbound's many other great restaurants. Delicias de Minas needs to take a hard look at itself. Our group will not be coming back.

Hace años iba aquí con mi esposo y la comida era muy rica la verdad, yo pedí un pulpo a la brasa y me encantó estaba muy rico, pero mi esposo y el hijo y la novia ordenaron Rodizio y no les gustó la carne el sabor solo cogieron carne una vez y ya no más yo la probé y no se el sabor estaba raro, pero la atención muy buena de un muchacho ecuatoriano creo que es al principio nos atendió una chica que la verdad no me gustó nos sirvió la sangría y regó un montón en la mesa y la dejo así yo tuve que limpiar con una servilleta a nadie le gusta comer en una mesa sucia, luego vino ese muchacho y el nos atendió muy muy bien.

Take a seat at the bar and enjoy food, drink and live entertainment, get the Coconut Caipirinha so good. Bartenders and staff are amazing…

This restaurant was like a Brazilian steakhouse. The buffet and all you can eat meat is what I ordered. Top notch food & cocktails, great staff and welcoming atmosphere. I'll be coming back and telling others about this restaurant.

The food was really good. Everything was flavorful and cooked just right. The wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. There was live entertainment the evening we went. (Sunday) very unexpected, but what a pleasant surprise. We also enjoyed the large screen tv that played music videos during intermission. Just added them to my "must visit" restaurant list. You will not be disappointed.

Hi the location is good, but if we talk about the food the most important part in a restaurant, honestly regular and very expensive we order the open food for 26 $ but was cold and when I try the beef was salty and fat ,and we have to pay the gratuity , and like little they give the option to add tip ,is not a bad place but for my opinion is expensive ...

What an awesome Brazilian restaurant located in Newark! We've been there on a Saturday for lunch. Staff was so lovely with us! We were missing the warm and welcoming Brazilian way. Food is all delicious - my wife had the feijoada, and I had the picanha, both delicious. And don't miss the desserts, they are so good!

I called the restaurant on a Saturday late afternoon, to inquire about catering for a small event on Sunday at 1pm. Tania said they could cater and deliver to my event in Bloomfield, NJ. She texted the price for the items I requested and payment was easy, via zelle. At 1pm sharp, the food arrived, bagged/ boxed nicely. The "feijão tropeiro" was amazing! The appetizers (coxinha, kibe, risole de milho e bolinho de mandioca com queijo) although fried, were not greesy at all, as well as the "dadinho de tapioca" and were super fresh! I absolutely loved the food and service. It made me feel at home, in Minas Gerais. Muito obrigada, Tania!

I recently visited Delícias de Minas and although my experience was good it could have been better. First let’s go with the pros. The staff is friendly and attentive. Also, we ordered some appetizers and they were tasty. The ambiance was nice. What I didn’t like: First of all the drinks are expensive at this place. The cheapest beer was $7, so even you order a domestic beer like Coors light you’re still going to pay $7 which is too much for a standard Brazilian restaurant. My wife ordered a Pina Colada which was small and was $15 dollars. The singer (Andre Neves) and the band were very competent and played good Brazilian music since we enjoy Sertanejo but everything ended very early. We were told they were going to play 2 sets on Saturday. One in the afternoon at 2pm and another one at 10pm. So we arrived shortly before 10pm and they played until around 11:30pm. Then they took a break, came back around 12am and played for about 20 mins so by 12:30am the music stopped, the place was dead and everyone was gone. Being that it was Saturday night we expected music until 2am which is when most places in Newark close.

Table service was good but the food was terrible. Not fresh at all.

Tive uma péssima experiência, não comam o camarão grande próx da salada, eles servem o Camarão sujo, fui comer estava cheio de sujeira dentro, fui reclamar com a dona ela praticamente nos humilhou, mandou o garçom trazer dois camarões pequenos e nem ao menos conversou com a gente, a Comida estava fria, churrasco borrachudo, deixei praticamente tudo no prato, paguei caro sai de lá me sentindo muito mal.

Tive o desprazer de solicitar um pedido neste restaurante , solicitei um churrasco para 3 pessoas e o mesmo chegou tudo misturado batatas, carnes , aipim e banana no meio das batatas e aipim uma situacao triste a carne sem tempero nenhum e a supresa que iría fazer aos meus amigos foi uma imensa decepcao essa e a última vez que peco neste local......se tivesse nota seria -1 , pois zero seria um elogio ao que me enviaram.

The food was okay, but the service was great. Can get much better quality meat for the same price range, we were surprised with the bill, the prices for the buffet got recently raised.

I apologize for not taking photos but I love this place. This is my second time here. Food is great, beer is super cold. Staff is very attentive. I like this style of buffet where you get your meat yourself versus gauchos coming to the table. I can’t wait to come back. The band played great American hit with a Brazilian vibe. I like the food there but I get really upset when I think that something really good is going to come and I get something that doesn't match what it should be, I ordered pumpkin with dried meat and I got pumpkin and a few pieces of dried meat, I don't care I don't mind paying at all but I really want what was offered to come. In the end I was disappointed!

Comida muito boa, uma ótima opção para brasileiros que querem sentir o sabor brasileiro. As carnes são deliciosas e o buffet tem ótimas opções. Eu só não gostei das opções de drinks, pedi um, mas não gostei, eles tentaram melhorar, mas não deu muito certo.

The place is great only issue is that no one speaks English at all so alot of mistakes due to language barrier

Place was nice Service was good Although what we order was not what we were explained. We order two serving of 100 each was told something way different than what it came. We paid $500. I don't mind paying unless is for something worth it.

Not happy, Over priced for a tiny limited menu. Took forever to come back with a drink and I didn't want it after that. They did give me the drink for free but whatever they wrong I was already half into my dinner. I didn't stay to do my husband's surprise dessert.. i didnt even want it. Never going back

I went with my husband my two kids and my baby boy we only have one main dish and 3 appetizers and 4 Caipirinha‘s and some beans chicharon and fried yuca that they have at the food bar which we were charge 39.99 forward that 😡😡😡😡 Just so you know my bill was $280 for that I don’t mind paying for good food but I really feel cheated

We came thinking this was a traditional restaurant but found out it was a rodízio style restaurant. We ordered from the À la carte menu and we’re highly disappointed. Do not order the chicken parm with pasta unless you enjoy overly cooked pasta with no flavor and semi decent chicken parmigiana. The chicken for the chicken Cesar salad was over cooked and extremely tough to chew. Picanha Grelhada com banana e batata with the cheese sauce was the best choice orders for the table and it still disappointed us. The Steak was not seasoned well, the potatoes had no flavor, the cheese sauce had little to no salt and the fried banana was ok. Overall I was extremely disappointed with our order and the price tag did not warrant such a mediocre meal. I won’t say this place is a total pass because as it is a rodízio style restaurant perhaps the buffet and meat from the rodizio is better then the offering they have on their À la carte menu. The atmosphere is definitely worth checking out as they had a great music selection and seam to offer live music on certain nights. The bar seemed lively and it looked like they had a great selection of Brazilian bar style snacks to order.

Best Brasilian stk house in the tristate

I finally came for the 1st time on a Sunday about 3pm. I live 5 blocks away and kept saying I have to try this restaurant. My guest and I found 2 seats at the bar and ordered some sangria and picadinho. Service is attentive. Wasn't a fan of the flavor of the sangria but the picadinho was delicious. They also had a live band. Andre Neves had a great voice, smooth sound and gives feel good vibes while you dine. I would definitely go back as there are other items on the menu I would like to try.

All the negative reviews about this restaurant are true. I wish I had never entered this restaurant but it was not my decision but my brother's. This is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. We pay for the rodizio but it doesn't have real rodizio, you have to get up from the table to look for the small portion of meat that they serve you and it is very bad, very salty, inedible. The sausages are miniature and tiny. The buffet is terrible and does not have a very wide selection of foods. This is a poor, lousy and very expensive restaurant. I paid over $300 dollars off the bill for mediocre and inedible food. They overcharge you for everything and overcharge you, they overload your bill. Do yourself a favor and avoid a bad taste in your mouth by not going into that Alibaba cave. By not going in there your stomach and your wallet will thank you. You are over warned. Relatively expensive. Skimpy girls. Great food overall. Music is loud and country all the time. Typical Minas place. Servers are courteous even though not very expeditious. Go there and take your time. Lots of drink options with steep prices. Love this place. Newark train station is just a few blocks from here.

I took my husband here for his birthday May 2nd 2022 (a Monday) around 7:15pm .. There was no crowd and we found street parking pretty easy. Because normally parking in this area of Newark is slim to non. When we went in we were immediately greeted by the host and seated.. It was pretty empty in here seeing as though it was a Monday and raining so we had the attention of every waiter / waitress which was pretty nice. So let me start by saying if your looking for a typical Brazilian all you can eat rodizio... this isn't the place for you... because they do it differently. Instead of the waiters coming to you with the meat selections.. you have to go and get it yourself (look at my picture for examples). This was different for us seeing as though we're use to them coming around with the selection of meat at other restaurants. They have a small buffet with Brazilian favorites such as Fried Rolled Pork Belly, Yuca , Carne de Sol com cebola, white rice and etc. The food didn't look too fresh but it was good. As for the meat some selections of meat were a bit fatty but the taste was delicious.. we were stuffed by the time we got our 2nd plate.. we payed around $74 with a few drinks and that's with gratuity that THEY ADDED. So please be aware.. also they charge you for water since they give you a bottle of water which I didn't know till the end. The service here was nice and the waitress took our dirty plates away fast and checked on us periodically.. the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was the fact some of the meat was too fatty. Maybe it was just because it was a Monday but the service was GREAT as well as the music. They even have a small stage for a LIVE BAND that performs on certain days. And I love how one of the waitress informed me on certain Brazilian dishes I didn't know by telling me what they were. Oh and the best part was as we were leaving they surprised us with a piece of Flan for dessert for my husband's birthday!!!! We loved it ❤️ .. I guess they overheard us saying that it was his birthday and we LOVED that they did that for us... For the price of $24.99 I would go back for all you can eat again. The service was great. I just hope they're like this on busy days as well.

A fun restaurant in the heart of Newark, serving brazilian churrascaria style buffet lunch for only $25. The station has mamy different variety of items from salads, breads, to fish, chicken, beef, pork items. I was mostly into the fish and chicken in the station. For churrascaria, you have to walk to another window and ask for type of items you want. Their options are limited, few steaks, chicken (including chicken heart) and ham. Sirloin is the best item. Chicken heats are also tasty. To me, the chicken and other steak types were average. At end of the meal, they served grilled pineapple to us, which turned up to be a fun dish. They include the tip as part of your bill, so keep an eye on what you are paying for.

I'm giving this place one star because it does not allow me to give it less. First, the meat was extremely salty. If you suffer from high blood pressure, do not eat it because you might get sick. Second, I made a reservation over the phone. The lady said they were going to charge my card $50 to reserve the table, but they were going to subtract it from the check's total... well, they never subtracted anything until I noticed it and told them. I then realized that they deducted $55.07 from my account instead of the $50 they initially said. When I asked why they weren't giving me back $55.07, they said that the $5.07 were taxes. Really???? What taxes? To reserve a table??? This is ridiculous. After all this frustration, I didn't even receive an apology. I will never go back to this restaurant. The WORST. Oh and by the way, gratuity is mandatory and they take out 18%. This is awful.

Mandei no insta mas nem me responderam, então.. Queria fazer uma reclamação, moramos em Carolina do Norte e já visitamos o restaurante várias vezes mas ontem foi a última vez. Eu amava a comida daí mas ser tratado com falta de educação, ninguém merece.Trazemos uns primos, fizemos a maior propaganda do restaurante para nossos primos e tal. Desde que ontem era o dia das mães nos ligamos no caminho para fazer uma reserva e a moça que atendeu disse que não precisaríamos reservar porque tinha 2 mesas disponíveis mas que deveríamos sair da mesa antes das 2pm, (isso já foi um pouco rude), ela nem perguntou o nosso nome. Quando chegamos na porta a pessoa que estava na porta, um homem que provavelmente é o dono ou sei lá, estava super estressado e pergunto se a gente tinha reserva; a gente disse que sim mas que a moça não tinha perguntado nosso nome( o que foi erro dela) e ele disse “se não está na lista, é porque não tem reserva”, e ele continuou duvidando de que tínhamos feito reserva até mostrarmos a ligação no celular pra ele, e ele saiu resmungando para vê se dava um jeito E nós fomos embora porque não tinha como comer aí depois de tanta falta de educação, entendo que ontem estava super cheio porque é dia das mães mas nós ligamos, e mesmo se não tivesse mais mesas falto educação e humildade, não é porque tá cheio que não precisa dos outros, vi o homem que tava na porta falando pra uns espanos voltar só 4pm na maior falta de educação. E não é a primeira vez que são sem educação, a portuguesa que tem aí já foi sem educação com minha mãe. E eu sei que as vezes é só pela correria mas pela amor de Deus, mais humildade irmão! Situação super constrangedora, agir como se tivesse mentindo que a gente fez reserva, tem mil restaurante aí, ninguém precisa mentir que fez reserva, valeu!

Don't eat here. Extremely overpriced, the meals are not even worth $10, the food is not good, terrible arrogant servers who demand tips even after giving a bad service. Obligating customers to pay gratuity is not nice when your service is bad. Making drama in front of everyone because you refused to pay tips is also ridiculous and shameful. It just proves how bad this place is.

Great service. I do go on the weekdays as you can’t beat the quality and price of the buffet. Great attentive service and good meats. My friend ate the rice and mashed potatoes and liked it. I went with veggies and Picanha, Rump steak, and pork sausage.
