I love the food matter of fact. I love everything about this place. I will be back in the morning matter a fact.

I cannot believe how good this food was! I ordered a blueberry biscuit, and a chicken egg and cheese biscuit. It was the best $5 I've ever spent on a meal. Service was lightning fast, and the staff was super friendly. I will be going back!

The place was so packed with customers waiting to be seated. We didn't stay.

RATS!!! We ate there and a huge rat ran under our seat. We all ran and definitely could not finish our food. A man came from the back and said they were aware they had rat issues and "set off a bomb". Clearly that didn't work and wasn't enough. People were still coming in to eat and didn't know until we told them. Why were they still serving people without trying to catch the rat? I was nauseated the rest of the day and so disgusted and disappointed.

We stopped here while on vacation and couldn't wait to come back. Their blueberry biscuits are amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Large portions for cheap prices. The only negative was finding out they are closed on the weekends.

Love the biscuits. The grits were watery and the sausage was cold. Very nice staff but I took a look in the kitchen and no one was wearing gloves to serve the food, that is unsanitary. Employees were picking up the potatoes and biscuits with their hands after playing in they face it was gross. I paid for my food and noticed this afterwards, and didn't want to eat it, I was a bit uneasy. Enjoyed it the first time I went the second time I noticed more and the food wasn't the same, can't beat the prices though.

Place can be difficult to park at but that's because it's worth the effort. I enjoyed the breakfast a lot and will come back whenever I'm in town.

Located at what has to be the worst intersection in the entire city of Lafayette, Edie’s is a local landmark. Don’t be intimated when you see lines out the door. These guys know how to get your food out quickly and with a smile. The biscuits are heaven on earth. Big, fluffy and flavorful. Nothing out there like Edie’s.

Very disappointed! I called my order in on my way to work when I arrived I paid for my order, shortly was given 2 plates. Once I made it to work I realized I had the wrong order. When I called, I was informed they had 2 Mary’s that ordered and I in fact had the other person food. I sent my co worker to get the correct order and it still was wrong. I paid over $19 for food that was absolutely wrong and some how they wanted me to believe what I ordered cost what I paid. Not true! I’ve ordered there before and never paid what I paid for the plates. My co worker told me when she was there, someone else was saying they had the wrong order. If an establishment is real busy I feel they need to take the necessary steps to making sure they are getting the proper orders out to the correct customers. I’ll never return!

Very charming, cozy and quaint atmosphere. Love that it's a family operated restaurant. Prices are great for what you get. Everything is fresh and quick and made to order. Flavor on the meats could use a dash more seasoning though. Sweet biscuits were great. Careful though, if you're walking there, it's a heavily trafficked area, with no walk signs at the busy intersection.

This was the cheapest I've paid for breakfast in a while! For the three of us, I spent $25. The building is old, but everything else was great!

Edie's clearly lacks curb appeal, the entire building inside and out could use a makeover, but it's truly unimportant as the star of the day are the biscuits. Hands down some of the best comfort food on my trip. I was in town for work and this place was within walking distance of my hotel. I ordered the works omelet with smothered potatoes and it also came with a biscuit. It was delicious!
