We have been to Egg Haven twice for breakfast. Both times, the food and service was very good.

By far hands down best breakfast in polk county! Super staff that attends to every request a hungry person can think of. Jasmine was my server and a asset to this superior resturaunt that has breakfast and lunch.

Well, the service here is absolutely amazing and the people who work here are great, but the food is nothing special. It wasn’t bad, but it’s nothing. I feel the need to go back for either. The bacon was fine. The pancakes were good, and the eggs were a bit dry for my taste.

First of all, they support local law enforcement with free drinks, which is wonderful! It's definitely a local favorite, and from watching the staff interact, it's clear why. The food was very reasonably priced, delicious, and huge portions. As this was our first visit, our server JoJo helped us navigate the menu a little. Her cheerful and friendly personality was reason enough for our family to return again!

Not sure if this place still have the same owner but last time was horrible was 2 weeks ago nothing to be with the food and service that they do have before went with my best friend and on my way there I was talking about the good food etc but nope was just horrible never again

Food is normally pretty good! The issues lie with outside seating. When sitting outside, the service is very poor. You wait 10-15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge you. No menus, silverware or drinks!! Maybe have a server just for outside! Inside you get great service! They also allow people to smoke out on the patio...thats just nasty. Im a smoker and would never do that. I ate half my food then the person next to me lit his butt...yup appetite gone! Waste of time and money!

Food is was ok not great had outside seating inside was super packed not very many servers had to request my son to go inside to get us forks for the food. I order eggs with cheese no cheese was ever added. Server gave us our food never came back until we were done eating with our check I explained to her the egg situation she stated I should of told her yeah if you would have came back to see how we were doing with everything. Very expensive 75$ plus TIP never going back not affordable. For a small family

Love this place for breakfast, Our server Danielle was amazing. She was kind and friendly. Everything came out so quickly and it was delicious. Every time we visit everyone is always kind & working hard! The food is affordable. 10/10 would recommend

I had n traditional breakfast with eggs grits toast and smoked sasuage everything was tasty like homemade my partner had a southwest omelette and very satisfied 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all across the board and the waitress was super fast and accurate can’t remember her name but service was excellent 🫶🏾🤞🏾

I overheard a waitress saying they rely on reviews and this place definitely deserves the foot traffic. It's a pretty small place so it was packed when I went there but the food was great and so was the service. I ordered the breakfast bowl and I ate everything up. The grits were perfect, the eggs and gravy were very good and I'm not much of an egg person. This place definitely deserves to be recognized

I've only eaten there twice and had a great experience both times. My mother and I sat outside, the weather wasn't too overbearingly hot. There was a nice breeze. As I sat and watched what was going on at another table there was a loud conversation going on about .04 cents which had gotten my attention. Dani the server had said if they wanted it as she was digging in her apron to find it. Long story short, I watched as one of the men put his money away. What irritated me was that he offered no tip, I found out that he always does this. Dani was very professional, her attitude and voice never changed even though she knew no tip would be left. I went inside and got change from the cashier, when another server came up and asked if everything was all right. Told her what I witnessed and asked for that server (Dani) to be sent to my table and took care of her. If you can't or won't tip then you shouldn't eat where you have to tip, and management should have asked if there had been a problem with food or service.

I stopped in at 8am for a quick breakfast and found the place packed. I sat at the counter on a stool. My server greeted me promptly and took my order. 3 to 5 minutes later my food was out. This was my fastest in and out breakfast I have had here. Thank you

This is robbery. 41$ for my two kids to eat a plain pankacke and plain waffle. With tiny little kids juices. Like 6 oz juice for 3.50 each. Food was okay but I'll never be back. Can't afford this

This is a very nice restaurant to bring the family for a good breakfast.....service is wow...you have a lot of service and very fast. I like the plate that I took. When I pass by there, I will make it a sure stop to go again. Good job, egg haven.

First time visiting Egg Haven...it won't be our last. Egg Haven is awesome in every way! Our server, Maddie was a delight. She recommended the Strawberry stuffed French toast...fantastic! My husband had the Ruben Sandwich...he said it was great! We will be back!

We stopped here because of the reviews. We were disappointed. The food was mediocre. However, the service was great and the place was clean.

It was obvious that they needed more space. Very crowded. Very close to each other as you dine. People walk over you as you eat at your table. The parking lot has very minimal parking. Very friendly service waitresses. We will return but and we will try to pick a quieter time to come back.

What an incredible place for breakfast! It was packed and we can see why. We were lucky to have a wonderful server named Houdett (sp?) who was lovely with my children and great overall. Although the place was packed, we were seated right away and our delicious food came out fast. Perfectly in time to get to Legoland before opening! We will be back for sure.

The only place for breakfast for me

The first time I went to the egg Haven the owners walked around the restaurant very friendly said they were from New York and spoke to us ,wondering if they are still the owners because today when I went in I let the seater know that there was six of us. my grandkids flew in from Texas and drove an hour to have breakfast with me, she looked around offered us outside I said no we wanted to eat inside and she suggested we wait till this couple that was sitting at a 5 top finished, The lady heard and we made eye contact and I said no thank you. Again she suggested we eat outside. my daughter in- law and I looked at each other I told the seater the kids were hungry, so we picked two booths so we didn’t get to sit together and I I saw no one making an effort to clean tables or put them together for us but after we got sat a seven top walked in and they got seated right away and together I was very disappointed I didn’t feel as welcome as I did that first time. The server was polite and efficient but not very friendly.

Went here for the reviews but is super average. Good prices. The coffee was decent. The stake and eggs just don’t . The hotcake was delicious and so was the bacon. I’ll give it another try because they had Benedict eggs which was my first option and then I changed.

GREAT service, excellent food...wish I had accepted the grilled biscuit....but being a Minnesotan, I didn't, but next time, I will get it!

We stumbled upon this diner yesterday and came back again today because it was so good! Food was great, service was even better. Everyone working here is friendly, happy, and helpful. Both times we were seated quickly despite them being very busy and wait times were minimal. In and out within 40 minutes both times. They have table, booth, counter, and outdoor seating which is nice. Will be back!

I don't have one bad thing to say about Egg Haven, from the food, to the service, to the cozy atmosphere, all exceed my expectations! I haven't tried one thing of their menu that I didn't enjoy! Give them a try!

This is a VERY popular place. We came here for brunch after a hike at a nearby park. The place was packed! It was hard to even get in the door. That being said we were seated fairly quickly and we were served very quickly. The food was excellent. I got scrambled eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes. Everything was delicious. Because it was so busy and so crowded it did not make for a relaxing atmosphere. The staff didn't rush us in any way but I still felt rushed because there was a crowd standing waiting for their turn. This is not a place to relax with your cup of tea and chit chat with friends. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There's a very casual atmosphere here. It has a bit of a diner vibe. This is a great option for a quick delicious breakfast.

The food was good. Good serving size. Prices were o.k. I dont think the ingredients were top notch though. There was an oily flavor on the eggs and an odd aftertaste. But. I am hypersensitive to chemicals and additives, so probably just me being weird.

Great tasting, awsome 4 egg meat omelet on one side of a long plate with (real) hashbrowns (not fried potato chuncks) on the otherside. Will definitely fill you up, comfort food.

It’s a bit on the nose having “haven” in the name. Because that’s exactly what this place is. Scratch kitchen making mouth watering food. A large menu covering all the bases. With a friendly and speedy service staff. Kylee, I probably spelled that wrong, served us today and she did an incredible job

Highly recommend if you like homemade food. I enjoy the outdoor sitting, my favorite is the Veggie Egg Benedict with home fries. It's a small place and it's always packed. The wait time is approx 15-20 min. On Saturdays there's a Farmers Market across, it's a nice area to walk after your meal.

Best tuna salad I’ve ever tasted. You get big salads, the Greek dressing is homemade for the Greek salad which was pretty good also. Coleslaw and fried shrimp was pretty good I tasted my son’s. In my opinion The food is good and it comes quick even when they’re super busy, staff is very nice overall seemed like a great little place to eat was my first time there. I want to go back to try the breakfast it looks like they have a large selection of Benedict lovers😍

The staff greet you right at the door, you were treated at home as soon as you get there. The breakfast comes to you and all you can do is enjoy! I hope everybody has the opportunity to come and enjoy the experience that is the greatest breakfast restaurant in Polk county!

i recommend this place because their breakfast is good but i wish the lady who cleaned tables realized how disgusting it is to drop a rag on the floor, looks down at it, then laughs at her coworker, pick it right back up & use it on our table as we sat down. I ask her “wasn’t that on the floor?” & then proceeds to take a long pause & with an attitude says “Yeah but it’s been in bleach so it’ll be fine”. Really disgusting if you ask me… Still sat down and ordered but made sure nothing touched the table, later then she proceeded to tell other customers dining there that i was overreacting. I’m sure others wouldn’t like their tables cleaned with a rag that has touched a filthy floor.

I really like mom and pop breakfast joints and this fits the bill.

This is a truly great local diner! My friend's breakfast wasn't quite right, so the manager, himself, cooked it precisely to order. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I would heartily recommend Egg Haven to anyone.
