I recently ordered two Hook & Ladder subs from Firehouse Subs in Winter Haven using their online ordering system, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed. The subs were ready incredibly fast, and the in-store pickup process was seamless. The staff was quick and efficient, getting me in and out with no hassle. As for the subs themselves—delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it. The Hook & Ladder was perfectly made, with fresh ingredients and just the right balance of flavors. Each bite was a delight, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. This is exactly what I expect from a great sub shop. Highly recommend!

Expensive for Subs. But the area I guess calls for high prices. $12 for a 4" sandwich chips and a large drink.

I ordered online for pickup. I ordered the pizza sub and get home and I have a sandwich with black olives and cheese only. No pepperoni, no meatballs, no tomatoes that I specifically added to the order. I also asked for the sauce on the side and they put it on half the sandwich instead.

The manager here is the best! He’s so kind and makes sure that everything is in order. I witnessed him help a woman who accidentally placed an order to the Lakeland location and he got them to issue her a refund. Like, outstanding!!

I would love to leave a 5 star it’s not the food. It’s not even the the place because it is clean. It’s the level of enthusiasm the employees have to want to work. And the employees wearing sandals and and acting Like we are disturbing the relaxation time as we are the only people here. Once again food was good the place is good just want a simple pep in the step. Maybe thank you for coming in anything and act happy not like we are in your way. I will give it a second shoot hopefully they will find a sense of urgency

I dont think there is a better firehouse, from the owners to the employees everyone here is so welcoming. If you come to this location often they remember you by name and they even remember your order! its by far my favorite spot to go eat! the food is amazing too! Hands down best Firehouse Restaurant in Florida and i can bet its the best in the country!

I absolutely love this location because of the staff there. They're very kind, courteous, and pay extreme attention to detail. They take the time to get every order right and have never made a mistake on any of my orders. 👌🏾👍🏾

I'm here for work staying at the hotel across the street. Don't recommend lol. But holy **** this was the best food I have had on this trip or at any firehouse ever. I so recommend this place. The people were amazing and patient with me. Just 10 stars all day.

Wonderful place food is beyond the expectations, this place is better than subway, burgers kings, McDonald’s and etc, Only thing you will not get service and attention from the staff

I’ve eaten at this location several times and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff greet me everytime and work very quickly. Sometimes I do feel a bit rushed to place my order because they are trying to be so efficient. Also, the location isn’t my favorite, I wish they were in a newer area. Rent prices are probably astronomical these days, which might be why they haven’t relocated. Nevertheless, the quality is very good and I’m a repeat customer.

Absolutely Delicious Fast Food & Service.

They always have friendly service. They always have fresh food. And I love their fresh soup. And the fact that I can get a 4 inch sub is a perfect lunch and you see, I had the chili and pepperoni meatballs sub.

I came here on my birthday (literally yesterday) and the current staff were amazing and made my day. I haven’t had a good birthday in a long time and was going around getting freebies and they were the first and only workers to wish me a happy birthday. I’m super socially awkward but with smooth conversation skills and good food this firehouse subs is probably the best food place in winter haven

The owners from India are polite and industrious.

Both sandwiches are very good! Tables in the dining room were clean. We were greeted promptly upon walking in.

The BEST Firehouse Subs I have ever visited. I can’t say enough about the quality of the food, staff and family owned atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the restaurant is impeccably clean and organized and I can’t say enough about the quality of the food. My daughter had the Italian and she is a little picky and it came exactly as she ordered, I had the Brisket and it melted in my mouth with tenderness and flavor. Just can’t say enough about this Firehouse. Thank you for a great experience.

Food is always good and made how I want it

Stopped here from out of town after Legoland. I've been to plenty of Firehouse Subs locations and my cousin and I both said it was the best sub from a Firehouse we've had. I got the veggie and she had a hook & ladder. Service was great too, we witnessed a complaint from another patron who wasn't very kind and they remade their sub for them no problem. Said patron even went up and complained to another staff member for no reason after his issue was solved and we had seen the first employee handle it well. We thought everyone was great and would happily eat here again.

Hool and Ladder sandwich is very good.

My family and I ordered 3 med hero sub combos. The nice gentleman who took are order gave us 3 cups. We filled up the drinks for the first time ever I have been to a freestyle machine where they had every drink and flavor stocked! From the start I felt like this was going to be great! However another nice gentleman walked over and handed us our food we failed to check the order inside we had a leap of faith that someone could bag 3 subs with 3 sides. Unfortunately when we arrived home we where missing a sub we immediately called the store and told them we where missing a sub or maybe they forgot to ring it in and the person on the phone was so rude and said we got everything we paid for. The total of what we paid was 47$ but apparently you can buy a combo without a sandwich. The nice gentleman who took are order said it was supposed to be 3 sandwiches but the manager or whoever he was told us to buy one even though we paid for it. We left our house to go back to the store to get a sandwich and we just wanted him to ring in the order to see if we paid for 3 sandwiches or not if we didn’t we where just going to buy one but the manager or whoever was just so rude and literally stole our money. The nice gentleman who took our order literally told the man we ordered 3 sandwiches this place has great food. Terrible at fixing situations and making things right. I will not be back.

Friendly enough staff..Cheese steak wasn't very good not much meat and hardly any cheese. Husband's smoke house brisket and cheddar had no cheddar. I think they were both supposed to come with pickles. There were none.

It's probably a good place to eat but the fact that they had an ad with a sandwich called the "New York steamer" I don't know if you know what a steamer is but you never want to associate a steamer with food😮

Sandwiches were PERFECT! The hot sauce choices are A1! They have like 30 different bottles of house u can choose from! The meat was tender, bread was good, Mac and cheese was good, chips were fresh, no complaints at all about the food! Only problem was it was $49 for me and my daughter to eat. That’s pretty steep for two sandwich meals

Peppers are for “reelz” this is gonna have to be my go to sandwich. Sorry no pictures didn’t wanna waste time, “my sub was waiting”

I have definitely become a big fan! And not just because I'm a retired Firefighter from Southern Ct and they do give back to First Responders. The food is always great and generously filling (not just all bread and a little meat). When I have the choice, they are now my choice over the other sub shops. Keep up the good work. Never forget, 343!

Just as you would expect from this franchise. Food is consistent and service in my opinion is better than the Golden Arches or The Berger King.

This has to be the most consistent restaurant...the sandwich I get today tastes just as good as it was 10 years ago. Never once had a problem

What a great restaurant. We were greater in a friendly manner as soon as we walked in. There wasn't much of a wait for our lunch. Came to our table hot,fresh and delicious! Clean establishment with a nice atmosphere. I'll be back again.

I come here at least twice a month, it is by far one of my favorite places to eat! Everyone here is always so nice and respectful. You can tell they truly care! Amazing food made by awesome people. I would highly recommend this Firehouse to anyone. Big bonus is they always have my food done within 10 minutes and my order has always been right ✨

There’s only four kids running the restaurant, it took 20 minutes for one medium sub, and they forgot the extra sides I paid for because they all were just standing around talking and forgot about my order.

Staff is always incredibly friendly, and food is always perfection!

This place is hands down the best sub shop I’ve ever been to. My Italian sub was so good it got me pregnant. 10/10 service too. One of the owners Abhay is just the nicest sexiest young man I’ve ever seen.

We had great subs. The store was clean and the staff was pleasant and professional. I really enjoyed my lemonade and my Virginia baked ham with lettuce and cucumbers, with vinegar and oil. It was so tasty.

Food was good, prep time was reasonable. Most important Staff was courteous and polite. Did an online order, I was impressed by the kid behind the counter pronouncing my name properly. (Most folks get it wrong. Not a problem but impressive when they get it right.) Unfortunately it might be the last time I use this location. Not an issue with the store. It's mostly because another location is opening up closer.

Like the club on a sub. Everything is good as long as no mayo.

Very friendly, management is verbal and clear about any changes or requests from the standard sandwiches. Makes me very comfortable with my son's diet restrictions

The staff seemed more concerned with talking to one another about random non-work things, and I have no idea how they got "Drewron" out of "Jerome." It's still a better option than Subway (personal preference).

Honestly this is the worst location I have EVER been too! They take our order start talking to an employee in the beginning of our order completely loses track of what we were ordering. We drove 25 minutes to get lunch there…. I absolutely HATE onions ask for only peppers and cheese on sandwich come back and my sandwich is covered in onions. When I call to let them know he tells me can’t do anything right now because he has a line out the door and to call back later. That is not customer service! How about put somebody else on the register that knows what they are doing and take care of the customer that spent almost $30 on two sandwich meals. I will NEVER go back to this location.

Two steak an cheese subs for 26 dollars an pluse two cups of soda all for 40 dollars come on that is way two much..theres no way i would have payed for this..i told my son to say something but you know kids smh...best to eat home 😠
