This place is delicious! We tried all kinds of DR breakfast food and they told us all about it, it's a great spot.

If you want authentic Dominican food with flavor here they offer the best! The best food, the best service and for all that, the best price. I come eat here once a week with my wife and we are always welcomed in. I love how this place cares for there customers and how awesome the food is.

Honestly good tasting Longaniza in Tampa. Every other Dominican restaurant is either “out of” or “don’t make it”. The empanadas are so delicious and authentic. The mofongo balls are fresh and tasteful, and the tostones are fresh and crisp. El Barrio is the spot to go to in Tampa Bay !

The only reason that I cannot give them 5 stars is because I ordered through uber eats and when my order arrive, the Yani-Taco is no longer crunchy or hot :( But their salchi papa is chef kiss !! That is a must try

Chimifongo de pollo is good, but then again I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered here. The service is always on point as well.

This place is a hidden gem for Spanish foods! Was hesitant at first to try this spot but after trying we are hooked. The sandwiches are AMAZING!!! And we love the slachipapa 💕 You need to try this place!

El lugar es pequeño, limpio y la comida muy buena. Especialmente los chicharrones de pollo. Mis hijos lo disfrutaron al Igual nosotros.

My husband and I just happened to find this place while working in the area. I want to say it's the best place I've tried and we have been to a lot of other places and tried dominican food that were too much hype and no delivery. El Barrio 809 however was on point. Chefs kiss with the mofongo balls and chicken. Also there juices are delicious 😋

We walked into an extremely clean restaurant, had amazing service and the food was excellent. I live an hour and a half away and will be returning. I was truly impressed by the quantity and quality of the food. You must try this Dominican gem of a restaurant.
