Tried their chimichangas. They were too good just like the ambience

Food was delicious. Waitress was very attentive. Music was a little loud but that’s because they were catering a party.

Food was aight. I’d get the Birra Tacos, they were good. They had the music up load as hell, you couldn’t even think or talk to the person you came with. The service was decent but we waited long as hell for the check. I do recommend to try it though. Just to experience the food. I got the birria tacos and pupusas. The birria’s need a little seasoning and pupusas lacked pupusas. Although it was an experience.

Food didn't taste authentic. The corn tamale tasted like vomit and the tortilla used in the quesadilla was freezer burned. The shrimp in the fajita had tails on and not deveined. The waitress was the best. Oh yeah salsa not fresh. This place needs help from an abuela.

Authenticity at its finest is definitely a hidden Laurel gem. My favorite is the Chile cheese, you really can't go wrong with eating here.

Excellent service and spectacular food, a unique and delicious seasoning, warm and fresh everything and a super cozy atmosphere.

Nothing to do with Mexican food, the food has no flavor

Unfortunately, the food lacks more attention and effort to cook since there were 8 members of the family and most of them complained about the food being bad.

Hi from Mississauga Canada .🇨🇦 I was there last Sunday three days ago . I sat at the bar and ordered wings . . I liked the atmosphere. Food was good . The bartender from Houston was nice and welcoming.. hopefully I will be back one day to say “ hi” 🥰

Nice little restaurant with excellent pupusas and service. Chips and salsa were excellent and complimentary. Thanks for a great meal!

Boring the decorations are so ordinary surround by 4 tv and 2 big screens only one tv was on dont know the reason I my go next time there to celebrate a funeral..

Good pupusas I’m a regular here and it’s bomb make sure you get the habanero sauce 😍 and the yuka is good and the horchata is freshly made 5/5

I went in and it seemed like a very good atmosphere, a place where I would stay to have a few beers, the service from the girls was super friendly and fast, the food tasted good, this time we ate roast beef and pupusas... but the chicharrón pupusas with cheese were not up to par. chicharrón only the cheese and in fact it was kind of watery this time I will say that I didn't like the pupusas also very small... but we came back to try it or after meals 😜

I go to Mexico very regularly being married to a Mexican woman, and I’ve tasted some incredible food there and the tacos here are right on par with the best of the tacos that you’re gonna find in Mexico. Hats off!

First time visit. So this wasn't my first pick for a midnight snack but it was the only place open where I was. I heard it around the same time I saw it. So I decided to check it out. Friday night after 11pm and it was night club time. Low lights, a DJ and the music was pumping. The atmosphere was different but I liked it. I ordered and enjoyed the music and watching the customers dance. I want to say salsa but I could definitely be mistaken. I got my food and it was great. I ordered the steak fajita salad and it came in the bowl that you eat. Everything Was Very tasty. Now I plan to visit again for another dish and experience.

We’ve been here before, food it was good but today we’re not satisfied with the soup we ordered , there was hair in my daughters soup and the vegetables on ours didn’t taste fresh, our server Kenia did great, she was so nice and helpful, we like this place, I hope they improve and be more careful with the dishes

2 of us stopped in for a drink last night and not only was the staff very welcoming, but the entire restaurant, including every guest! The additional 6 people we were with ended up joining us and the bartenders and managers couldn't have been nicer! Looking forward to going back again for food next time.

The food and service was good. A bit run down on the interior but good overall.

Had mar y tierra, surf and turf. Steak was light weight, but cooked quite tasty, medium rare. Only 3 shrimps, but quite tasty as well. 1 5oz can of Clamato for $4.00 way too much. Plastic disposable glass of iced lipton tea for $2.75 was Much more reasonable. Medium portion of rice was fine, salad wasn't spectacular, but sufficient, without tomatoes or salad or dressing. Sizeable bar. Bottle of Corona for $4.00. 2 huge screens for watching sports. More of a sports hang out.

Not really family oriented. I thought we would get better fair than CEC pizza next door. This really isn’t a place we will visit in the future because we’re not from the area. I gave a 4-star because the waitress (the food and atmosphere was lower) was very pleasant and I’ve never had anyone anywhere keep the table cleaned up while we ate. Her service was top notch (5-stars) despite our language barrier (she got help from another waitress who could speak more fluent English). I think her name is Kenia based on our bill. My first impression was loud jukebox playing and a small bar off to the side. Large dining room and a couple of BIG projection of basketball game playing but, my sun really liked the music. My other son said it was too loud. I was ok to fine another location because it was getting late. They lowered the volume upon my husband’s request but someone else decided to turn it back up a few minutes later. They warned us that the DJ was going to be there in about 20-minutes. We ordered quickly. Mini kid’s tacos for kids and carne asada based on first waitress’ recommendation. Went to the restroom to wash hands and was adequately cleaned. While we waited I started to notice that many but not all waitresses show lots of skin (shoulders, back, stomach, bust, short shorts, onesies?). The food was not as good as other Mexican restaurants we’ve visited but it was cooked adequately. On a final note the DJ was in the room the whole time, eating I suppose, and got started when we walked out. I can’t help myself from believing that it was for our benefit. My husband commented that it may be similar to an American H-o-o-t-e-r’s restaurant. How did I not notice, you ask? I was greeted by and asked to see the menu from a woman with a crew neck t-shirt and jeans. Pretty casual, I thought. Anyhow, the atmosphere may have changed once we left to something a little more spicy you could say. Aye, aye, aye! Best wishes to Kenia.

The birria was good, the sopes were good but little meat, the pupusas were good too.

Been a few years since I've been, and time has not been kind to the establishment. Christmas, Halloween, and valentine decor, bathroom was scary, seats ripped, no chairs matched, strobe lights in your face at 12 pm on a Sunday with no music playing. My salad tasted like refrigerator, coke was flat. Shrimp was good. Free salsa tasted like hot sauce out of a bottle. 20$ per entree seems a little steep in regards to taste and quality. Probably will wait a few more years before trying again.

Overall, I had a good time. My family and I walked in around 1030 pm. The stares were evident, but that’s normal. It took a little longer than expected for our food and drinks. I got 2 cheese pupusas, as well as one of my sisters. We agreed that they didn’t taste fresh, but nonetheless tasty. My other sister and her boyfriend got quesobirria and tacos and they ate every bit of food. I also got a margarita and a few shots per multiple requests.A few customers sang karaoke and Eventually we danced our shots off. Low key spot, I will return.

This wasn’t worth what you pay, I got shrimp ceviche and received a container of shredded vegetables with two shrimp the nachos were 90%chips with burnt dried out cheese my pico was good but the contained was only filled 1/4 full would not recommend or go back

The Friday night music vibe was very energetic, it was an interesting contrast to the other times we've been here at quieter hours. Both are good and I'm impressed by managing to pull both off well. A big contributor of course is that the food is always stellar.

My wife came to Laurel (where I work) so that we could have lunch together. We got a pupusa appetizer, and I had the #3 special and my wife had the #5. The beef burrito was a very good roast beef, and everything was excellent. Thank you for a very nice lunch date!

I really enjoy this restaurant for authentic Mexican food. My family only does take-out as the atmosphere for eating is not our scene. The food is delicious and the staff are very nice. They always give good size portions and their prices are very reasonable. We love the food here!

Ordered chicken chimichanga with rice and salad, substituted beans for rice. Did not receive my salad. The beans were good, the chimichanga was pretty small, especially for the cost. Got the Taquitos, they were $9 for 3 taquitos cut in half and served with sour cream. Disappointed, would not go back.

It's a beautiful gem of the community. The food and drinks are great and priced very well. The people here are very welcoming and will make you feel at home. It's one of my favorite spots. You can find karaoke and sport shows on the weekends. It's almost a one stop spot.
