Chicken was not cooked properly.

Do not order an extra large shrimp, it will not be anymore shrimp then a regular but the price will be more.

Ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special that’s supposed to come with fried rice and egg roll. I did not get any rice and there’s barely any chicken in here. I got MAYBE 5-6 LITTLE pieces of chicken. The noodles were okay, definitely not fresh. The Ice tea is really good. The cashier was rude and had a bad attitude. I asked abou the door dash coupon card that was sitting on the front counter. I asked him if it was just for all of door dash or specifically this store. He rolled his eyes, shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know, maybe door dash.” Then he walked away into the back room. Also, the pictures show a restuarant style Chinese spot. That is not the case. It is a small walk in door and then a narrow hallway to the counter, no seating to eat. This is just a take out spot. Will probably never come here again. Just go to Panda Express.

The food is amazing; it tastes different from other Chinese restaurants because they all taste similar to one another. The flavors and entrees set Panda West apart from everyone else, the food is the most authentic and delicious food you will have the pleasure to experience!

Chicken wings tasted like they had been cooked days before and just got recooked. Bad!

First I called no one answered! I walked in and was ordering shrimp egg foo young without vegetables in my egg, due to I'm allergic this clown says he can't make it like that🤔. Basically ur food is pre-made I wouldn't trust it anyway. Be careful

Im soil growing up in NY we have the best good. This is not what you call good Chinese food. I’m not sure why this place has 5 stars. But the food and service was horrible. We asked for a combination and got everything separately. The food was cold, the fry chicken, fries and egg roll taste like old oil. The fry rice had no flavor. Absolutely the worst food I have ever had. This is not worth it.

***July 2023 Edit: I think this place may have developed a racism issue since my last review. We ordered online for pick up as they no longer offer delivery. The white guy in front of me picks up his order and leaves without a hitch. No one else is there. I see my order sitting behind the counter. The clerk proceeds to take a call and leaves me waiting 20 minutes without acknowledging me. I kept pointing to the food and saying "Sir, my food is going to be cold." He said nothing, and kept talking. Thankfully, I didn't choose to pay by credit card, but cash, so I left. If you are a person of color, I would suggest tryinganother restaurant.

5/6/23 review: So disappointing after the new management taken over. My visit today was deeply disappointing. I ordered eggplant in garlic sauce. They added chicken to it and I could not eat as it was jot vegetarian.beware. Also, not the dame taste. My vegetable fried rice was tasteless. Delicious vegetarian choices. I ordered the vegetable fried rice along with snow peas and chestnut. Both were prepared just the way i had requested the lady. She was very courteous and i appreciated that she had noticed that i had come earlier than the 11am time and let me know that this center opened at 1030am. She was quick to prepare my food. I was surprised by the great experience. i would highly recommend this hole in the wall restaurant very much.

I’ve ordered the Hunan Chicken twice now and it’s been amazing. I’ve been meaning to try the Szchuaen chicken but the Hunan has not disappointed neither had the chicken fried rice. I did order a version of orange chicken and it was gross. Also it says 50C processing fee with credit card below 10.00 but they charge an extra 1.00 online and something else in person. So I guess bring cash.

This place is a sleeper. Quality Chinese food at fair prices. I always get the hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef, triple delight and the eggplant in garlic sauce. Service is really quick. You can order via their website or over the phone. Only promo I saw was order over $50 and you get General Tso’s for free

Nothing competes with chinese food from a value perspective. Large noodles can feed 3 easily for 8 dollars. Most of the food is standard American Chinese. Only a few are authentic, like the Singapore noodles and Chow fun. Serive is always fast and efficient. The restaurant is rather average.

Ordered Mongolian beef with green onions only. Food was not good. Portion size was small and there were very few onions. This place use to have really good food. It has changed ownership and the quality of the food is not as good.

I’ll never order from here again! First impressions are everything’. I ordered 2 dinners and an appetizers. I pick my order up and without checking I drove home. As I’m parking I get a call, and they forgot the fried rice. I immediately checked everything else and realized the egg rolls were missing. Once I picked up the rice, I told him about the egg rolls. He said “you didn’t order any”. I advised him it was supposed to come with the dinner (on their site, dinners come with fried rice, and an egg roll). He then says you ordered lunch. Umm no I didn’t. On their site, the lunch menu doesn’t show if the hours aren’t between 11-3. He pulls up his tablet and whatever he shows me is not their menu. I told him to pull up the menu, and proceeded to show him where it says it comes with an egg roll. He’s like “oh I didn’t make the menu” okay neither the hell did I! & let’s not forget, they forgot the fried rice. So instead of arguing with a customer, you would think accommodating a customer would be the least they could do!

Clean and Fresh food. Very tasty and fresh Chinese food. We had the General tso shrimp and spring rolls. Very impressive.. Gourmet level textures and flavors

This is my go-to place for Chinese food in Laurel! I love to multiple vegan options they offer (and their fries are delicious!). The owner and workers and very friendly. UPDATE: 1/13/23 There is new ownership of Panda West. While the menu seems the same for now, the taste of the food has changed for all items I have ordered, more so on the bland side.

This is their Chow Mein. Disgusting.

The last time I frequented this establishment was last year. I had a taste for General Tso Tofu so I decided to order from an old favorite. It was nothing like I remembered. Awful. The sauce was diluted and no flavor. I didn’t even consume it. I will not be returning.

Was not impressed by the taste of the food. Had some kind of after taste.

My boyfriend loves this place so I gave it a try. Noodles were good but wontons were too hard to eat and Rangoons were stale and chewy, made my jaw hurt.

This is my favorite place to get feel good Chinese food. I have since moved out of state, but recently went there and ordered my favorites for the ride back to my new home because I haven't been able to find a place here that I like quite as much. Their Singapore Noodles are great. If you ask for spicy, they don't hold back. My other go-tos are Shrimp Fried Rice and Combination Lo Mein. They have to hold me for the next couple of days. But it is comfy food.

I had ordered carryout chinese food from Panda West for us and visiting friends. The foods were stale and in lesser quantity. It had a strange taste. I will never go to this place again or recommend anyone to eat their food.

My new favorite chinese restaurant. Amazing general tsos sauce, whether with tofu or chicken. Egg rolls are perfect. Wish I had a better word to describe their balance and deliciousness. Good prices, but phenmenal staff and food. Thank you Panda West I love you!!

Craving Chinese food, I gave them a shot after seeing their four star rating and I’m so glad I did! Everything was excellent! The food was fresh, full of flavor and, thankfully, not swimming in oil. The shop is small and simple, but it’s abundantly clear that they are focused on making great food at reasonable prices. I’ll also add that the young woman who took our order was very kind and welcoming—a wonderful representative for the establishment.

The best spots are hard to find, this place has some dope eats. Haven't had a bad experience yet.

Smaller place, good food and prices are very reasonable. The employee, I think she was the owner as well, was very friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. Definite place to stop for Chinese food if in the area.

Moved to laurel about a month ago and out of all the places to order this is my favorite ! It’s cheap delicious and quick !!! I’m very picky when it comes to food especially now that I’m pregnant I never ever had a problem they are very profesional polite the food is always hot and fresh my delivery driver is on time he is very nice and he even takes his time to get out of his car and come to the back of the house and down the steps to deliver my food because I live in the basement and I’m in LOVE with the vegetable spring rolls they are perfectly crunchy and delicious I ordered 6 of them lol and a large pork fried rice I’m waiting on my order now😂

I really love the food here, and the the staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. The only negative I can say about this place is that they DO NOT have air conditioning inside. It can be a little unbearable and difficult to enjoy your food when you're sweating. Wish they'd look into that.

They have the best fried rice ever!! I like mine with vegetables. I've been coming here for years since I was working at Capital One back in 2013 and a coworker brought me here. Every time I'm in laurel I will get some to bring back with me back home. Never a long a wait for your food literally. They go above and beyond. Always large portions. Always friendly and nice. They put heaters where we were sitting yesterday.

Food was good. Egg rolls were not greasy. Some places serve egg rolls that are so greasy there's oil in the bottom of the bag. But these were not greasy at all. Service was great too. They have a $10 minimum for debit and credit cards. My order only came to 7.50. I was in the process of looking for something else to buy and she waived the limit for me. I appreciated it so I just gave the 2.50 in a tip. I'm in the area once a month so I will definitely be going back.

Hospitable Chinese place with decent food for occasional visits imo

Omg I have never left a rating before but I have to. I'm originally from Indiana and I fave a restaurant there which had hot and sour soup that I love. Since I have been in Maryland for past 7mo I couldn't find no restaurant that makes the same hot and spicy soup. Until I ordered from 🐼 west...it literally taste just like the soup from Indiana and General T'so chicken, lo mein noodles and egg roll was delicious. I will be ordering again. Btw the lady that answers the phone is very nice and patient.

Their food is pretty good. Some dishes are a bit oily but it doesn't bother me too much. However I love their egg rolls because they're are fat. I don't like how some places make theirs skinny. Also the people who take orders have always been friendly and easy to understand.

Best Chinese food in Laurel! Ordered delivery for myself and a housemate. Food arrived quickly and was hot. Food was delicious. They clearly use good quality ingredients (unlike many other Chinese food places in the area). The woman I spoke with on the phone while placing the order was pleasant and the delivery driver was also very pleasant! I will definitely be ordering from this place from now on.

Always get delivery and it puts Jimmy John's to shame!!! I mean super fast! Everything we have ordered has been really great. Their wantons in the wanton soup are so tender. I think I just feel in love with the Mongolian pork! Great customer service, great food, great prices.

After a few of my favorite Chinese restaurants closed, I was pleased to find Panda West and excited to give it a try. The food is GREAT and full of flavor. What's even nicer is that they will customize your meal for you if you need it to be. I am picky about what veggies I like in my meal (mostly because my stomach doesn't tolerate all veggies) and when I asked them to use only specific veggies, they had no issues doing so. They steam my tofu and put the sauce on the side for me making it as healthy as possible as I am a conscientious-eater. When I call them they are incredibly nice and the food is always ready in time and correct. So glad I found them. We used to go to Asian One on Rt. 1 but they went down hill. Happy with Panda West!! Please try it you wont be disappointed.

Ordered veggie fried rice, spring rolls, soup and shrimp and broccoli. The food was ok. I've had better but it wasn't horrible. I will try a different place for Chinese next time though

Vegetarian here! I'm always looking out for yummy options for me. Panda West has good options. My favorite at this restaurant is General Tso's Tofu. I ordered mild spice, but they can adjust the spice level if asked. One drawback I have is that the restaurant normally get orders to go, but I wanted to dine in. The restaurant was dark inside and the A/C wasn't turned on. They adjusted when requested, but it felt awkward for me to ask in the first place. Overall, the food was tasty and filling.

Not sure why all the negative reviews. Sat down for dinner on a Sunday evening. Pretty good food, nice restaurant, and great service. The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because I've had slightly better Orange Chicken at other Chinese Restaurants. Other than that, you will likely enjoy the food and the service! Try it out.

Never been disappointed. Egg rolls and spring rolls taste fresh and crispy. Excellent duck dishes. Also enjoy the Triple Delight and Four Seasons.

I love this place. I never eat in but my take out is tasty and amply served. also you can't beat their lunch special!

I can't speak to the decor because I got delivery. I can say that the food arrived right on time and hot and delicious. The woman on the phone was polite and precise and the man who delivered was also very polite. The order was exactly accurate and the portions were very generous for the price. I ordered Happy Family, which was perfect mix of meat and veggies. The Combination Fried Rice was bursting with meat. The Crab Rangoon was crisp and well stuffed.

I love this place!!! the tables and decorations could use some updating but the food is GREAT!!! I moved to Odenton and when me and my kids feel like chinese this is where we come.
