Love this store, they have so much to offer! I mostly shop here for the drink selection, perfect for grabbing something refreshing on a hot day. They have delicious coconut, malta, sodas, yogurt and juice drinks. A good variety, great beer selection too. All kinds of snacks and food, the meat section looks amazing and fresh. Definitely check this place out, very good customer service and prices.

Prices are a little expensive but the people who run this place are wonderful and the most affable people you'll find. If you don't know Spanish it's a-okay because the owners speak fluent English and are very open to helping you and answering questions even if you are unaware of Mexican food. Pleasant spot.

Our go-to market for Mexican ingredients, they also have killer tamales and fresh tortillas daily!

They have everything you might need for an epic dinner. You can grab fresh produce, corn tortillas, fresh meat and cheese. They also have a cool selection of snacks and candy. Grab a can of pineapple coconut nectar and some chips you've never tried for the drive home. Next time I'm getting some of their chorizo sausage.

Love the vibe. The staff, which I assume is family, they are so friendly. I felt like the customers were super polite too. Oh, the produce is beautiful!

Small but very complete Mexican store

This is a very good store. They have all you'll need to make any Mexican food you like. They have a nice selection of fresh meat. They also carry Mexican (and other) beers. The staff is bilingual and helpful.

I love this store. Not to many authentic stores here in St.Pete. We get meat produce and of course tortillas from there.They have all types of candies an pinatas too. They have a restaurant nextdoor that is absolutely authentic. Not tex mex. If you haven't already and want some yummy Mexican food , go check them out.

This is possibly my new favorite Mexican store, I'm glad that they had such a good selection of tortillas and cactus leaf as well AND one of my I found everything that I was looking for and will be sure to return

This place has most of what you need to cook Spanish dishes. I love cooking. I went to the big box places and they had the worst Spanish display I've ever seen. Didn't even have corn husks. I will be shopping at El Maguey for not only my Spanish taste buds but for anything else they have that I need.

Excellent service you can buy your groceries or meat, great chicharrón like no where else, etc while you have the restaurant a few steps.

SO good. I had a crispy four taco with barria. A gordita, like a Mexican uncrustable with your choice of meat but I got chorizo (its served with lettuce tomatoes and sour cream). I had to get a side of the rice and beans My friend had barria soup and it was huge and looked delicious he ate the whole thing

This place looks like a convenience store from the outside, BUT... it is far from it. They have produce, fresh meat butcher case and everything and more than you know about. If you like and are trying to cook Mexican food, You owe it to yourself to check this place out.

Nos encanta comprar en el maguey, buenos productos buenos precios y porsupuesto siquieren una carnita asada, ahi encontraran todo lo necesrio las carnes frescas y sobre todo el personal super amable.

El Maguey is staffed by good folks, and they serve a wide selection of very good eats for nice prices. Don't visit the restaurant without also visiting the grocery store to discover the best Mexican ingredients in the county.

El Maguey is ¡Muy excelente! Fresh tortillas are delivered and kept warm every day, they make fantastic homemade chorizo, and have a decent selection of dried chilies, fresh produce, and Latin groceries. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the prices are far more reasonable than a supermarket.

We had a great time eating here. The food was fresh and fantastic. The grocery store is awesome, however they need to order or get some Cajeta! We will be back!

Can't go wrong with 99 cent tacos on Mondays! A quaint no frills family run mexican place with authentic food. The corn tortillas taste homemade abd are delicious. I only wish they were a little bigger as they stuff them with the meat (chorizio is great!) cilantro and onion. The small tortillas make them difficult to eat.
