Food was really good. The chicken tacos were delicious. Unfortunately service was a bit slow to get our food out (I would expect fairly fast service for tacos/pupusas). Worth the trip though.

This is my third time here and every time has been great! food is fresh and delicious at an affordable price, and the customer service is also very nice! will be coming back regularly! I got the fried chicken tacos, fried chicken po boy, and fried shrimp po boy this time (all pictured)

We ordered two pupusas, the bean and cheese one and the chayote and cheese one. Piping hot, fresh, delicious, and literally $3.74 for two decently sized pupusas. Absolute delicious and unbeatable value. Can’t recommend this highly enough!

Anything fried here you're gonna love, I think the Chicken (wings/strips) and Shrimp are the best.

So we’ve been ordering pupusas from here for a while now. Seems like they get worse every time. Less chicharrón, less beans…. More cheese and sometimes not even that.. pura masa. I haven’t tried the other foods…. But not excited to try either. Service is meh. Doesn’t seem friendly. Like we having customers is annoying. Maybe it’s time to find another place.

If you want to eat reheated pupusas this is the place for you. What a disappointment!

Don't y'all know that New Year's resolutions are made to be broken? So here I am! I've had Honduran pupusas and tamales and I wanted to try El Salvador's take. Well, I wasn't disappointed. Just a short, quick drive from Sugar Land down 59 and Crabb River Rd. I ordered the Plato Tipico Salvadoreño (pupusa, tamal, platanos con crema, slaw, garlic bread). I chose the pork & cheese pupusa and the sweet corn filling. This kind of simple, tasty food delights me so much. The prices are like what you find in a taqueria i.e., good food at a very affordable price. Now I'll be craving those pupusas. My fate now is to be a repeat customer. This place ain't fancy but it satisfies my craving for this kind of yum yum.

Soy Mexicana pero me encantan las pupusas, me encanta venir aqui ya sea para comer o llevar. Siempre son muy atentos ,el sabor es muy rico y muy economico el lugar. Eh ordenado pupusas , tamales, pastelitos, yuca y platano frito. Nota: La salsa de las pupusas no es igual que una salsa para tacos. Es igual en todas las pupuserias.

Nice and homey little place. Wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They were a little slow to give refills on drinks but it was shift change so I forgive them. Food was delicious. Pupusas nice and moist without being raw. Beans and rice had a wonderful flavor. Tres leches cake was divine. Churros were perfect. Pequeño lugar agradable y hogareño. Los camareros eran muy agradables y serviciales. Fueron un poco lentos para dar recargas de bebidas, pero era un cambio de turno, así que los perdono. La comida estaba deliciosa. Pupusas agradables y húmedas sin estar crudas. Los frijoles y el arroz tenían un sabor maravilloso. El pastel de tres leches estaba divino. Los churros eran perfectos.

Everything on the menu is 🔥 Nice place to get off the beaten path. The food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing. I like everything I have tried. The fried fish and shrimp plate served with French fries, and onion rings is my go-to. Also, the chicken stuffed jalapeños!

They've expanded which I thought was cool. However, they take really long now to bring food even if it's carry out. So if you're looking for quick and easy this isn't the place. Food is 9/10 The service has gone down hill for sure. They don't know how to answer questions and the last few times take a completely wrong order or don't order it at all.

Fast friendly service delicious crisp quality variety and value. The taste alone will bring me back, and the big disposable cup of coffee. The fish platter I had was great with okra, red beans and rice, has chicken strip, stuffed jalapeño, crab ball, and plenty of sauces, plus I asked for lime and everything was yum.

The pupusas here are awesome. They are so cheesy. And they are fast always done within 15 -20 min.

So, I work at Lupe Tortilla as a server and wanted to show the cooks my appreciation for all their hard work, and decided to get them pupusas, instead of the usual, tamales, pan dulce, cookies, etc. I looked up places near me and seen the ratings were great for this spot. And they did not lie!!! We really enjoyed them. So soft, filled with flavor and a great portion of everything. Thank you. I found a new favorite spot!!!
