Very friendly and the food all homemade

Great place to find hard to get German food

Not honest business practices. Do not give itemized receipts, overcharged. The salesperson was not too happy with me returning and asking for correcting a mistake. The way this was handled from refusing a receipt and attitude makes me think this might be regular business practice in this store. Be careful, demand the receipts and check them!!! Also prices are very high considering quality and variety (very poor) of products.

This place makes the best sandwich in Central Jersey. You can quote me on that.

Old school European deli, great sandwiches, pierogi's, kielbasa, bread etc. try it you can't go wrong.

Recently I went out of my way to try out this "Europen Style" deli and was very disappointed with the quality of my purchases and their high prices, and therefore will not be returning. 9/17/2023

Best place for great homemade Polish food, delicious rye bread, stuffed cabbage was excellent as were the pierogies. Next trip to jersey, I will be stopping by again.

I buy whatever, but always a fresh Steak sandwich type roll and double smoked Kielbasy. Can't wait till home, so in the parking lot, I make a Loaded Kielbasy sand. Usually just meat and bread. MMMMM. Do not forget the cream cheese based cookies with fillings.

Delicious authentic European food

they have an excellent selection of cold cut meats and other European provisions. I love shopping here as it reminds me of being Vienna, Austria where I lived for awhile.

Horrible and over priced. The rude lady behind taking the order placed a small.drop of Russian dressing on the bread with no other traditional fixings on a Reuben corned beef. The prices on the menu in the store as well as online are completely outdated. Don't waste your time or money.

There is barely any choice in anything, items on shelves or cold cuts, everything is ridiculously overpriced, and the lady working there is so pushy, I had to repeat 5 times I don’t want pastry

Best Kielbasa and stuffed cabbage. The cold cuts are super fresh. Try the rye bread from the Lithuanian bakery. It's all delicious.

Since we moved to Orlando, Fl we’ve missed the excellence of European Homemade Provisions. I got the chance to travel to NJ for my son’s wedding. Yes!!! On top of my list Kielbasy, Hiagies, Salads, Knish, Pierogies. I sent my son shopping & got me all of the above to take back home. No Knish we were all heart broken. We had the Kielbasy last night for dinner & it was excellent, delicious; I can not say enough. Great place, excellent food, a very positive food place. I highly recommend this place for anything you may miss while living in the South. I’ll know next time to call ahead of time for my Knish. Thank you!!!!

Weird - I thought I had written a review for this place before. This is a great Polish deli with tons of homemade cold cuts, sausages, pierogis, etc. The people who run this deli are very friendly. The fresh sandwiches are excellent. There are a few Polish delis in the area, but European Homemade Provisions is always worth a stop.

Very good selection of Eastern European food. From Kielbasa, to homemade pirogies, and all the European condiments you can think of.

Authentic Polish deli. A variety of homemade Polish hams, kielbasa, pierogies, sandwiches salads and other European products. They fo have a parking lot but, fills up during the holidays. They do have a wide selections of unique sandwiches which they cater to the lunch crowds and homemade soups and salads. Prices are reasonable. Their Polish boneless ham in s a holiday hit. Even after the holiday they will slice it for you. They have everything you need for your Easter basket. Even the butter lamb. Update, still very good. Just picked up my homemade grilling kielbasa, regular and spicy kabanosy, beef sirloin and as well as beef chuck hot dogs. Theses are the best.

Potato salad and beet salad are phenomenal

I recently moved here from CA while my daughter attends college. I'm thrilled to have come across EHP. Sandwiches never disappoint and I've had several varieties of pierogis along with some of grocery items. Friendly staff (possibly owners) always make me feel welcome.

Went two days ago spent 65.00 on various Polish prepared foods like kalbasy ham cabbage rolls babka poppyseed roll mustard and rye. Today the rye is mold the babka was stale. I called to let the woman who owns the place know. Would not take my call.

This place is very expensive and the gravity of the food is sub par. I will drive to Garfield to get authentic Polish food

Skip the chains and go 1/4 mile off Route 18 for actually good cold cuts and cheese. 50+ sandwiches to choose from, homemade blintzes, Swedish meatballs, borscht, and more sold in tupperware containers. Food quality is the same as (or beats) the better grocery stores. Not a lot of selection because of its size, but if they have what you want here, (jams, sweets, teas, etc.), come here for it. Much of the imports seem sourced from Central Europe. Clean, cute, honest atmosphere. Prompt service, fair prices, it feels like I should have paid more. Why this place hasn't been featured on some food travel show, I do not know. Nobody else in the area is taping little Polish chocolates to your sandwiches. This is a truly special place. Excellent food!! Always!!!! Great lunches, I even stock up on frozen soups! (Fresh hot soup too!) Can't say enough as how much like this business!!!!!

Pastrami slaw combo was very good. Rye bread was top notch. Only a 4 because the meat was thicker. Next time I will ask for it to be cut thinner. Can't wait to try the specialty foods.

Went there the other day after not being there for years the homemade rice pudding was cozy shack for sure I had one in refrigerator and no doubt the same and paid like 6 bucks for small container. Paid 14.50 for 3 stuffed cabbage that also where not homemade. Sorry to see.

Wow, I can't see enough good things about this place. All the European favorites you could possibly be looking for from cookies to candy. The meats are all like I used to find back in Europe and their Hungarian Kolbász is just like home made. I highly recommend you check this place out and save it to your favorites because I guarantee you'll be coming back again and again.

Been coming here since I was a child, and always a stop on the way to see our Polish relatives. Of course the perogies are amazing, smoke their own several types of kielbasa, daily soups/frozen available and each are fantastic. But the sandwiches are also just phenomenal, best sandwich kielbasa I've ever had. You can also grab Polish/German provisions you won't find in grocery stores. Nicest folks you'll ever meet who work there and around the holidays between the food/baked goods it's damn magical.

Food is ok. Employees are nice. Price is normal for a deli. They have a $15 minimum for a credit card. My total came out to 14.97, but insisted we have to buy something else. They have a very small piece of chocolate by the register for $1...they really couldve just not made a big deal about 3 cents and just charge the credit

My family usually gets kielbasa here, and I love to stop in myself to pick up a sandwich or some TV kielbasy as a snack. Everything I've tried here is great! I think I discovered a new favorite sandwich here today - the Remedy (honey roasted turkey, bacon, Muenster cheese, roasted peppers, dill mayo, celery salt, and pepper on whole wheat), but on rye bread and no roasted peppers (it's very easy to ask for a few changes). The first taste was incredible - tons of meat on it, too. I highly recommend shopping here!

Just go! Get inside this family run deli and let your sense of smell take over. Fresh meats and European style dishes. Kielbasa has to be the best in NJ! My family always asks me to stop here before functions to pick up one of their consistently good kielbasa.
