Fantastic Fudge in Fernandina Beach - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

My family and I visited on August 23, 2024. When we walked in, we were immediately hit with the smell of warm, fresh fudge. You could see them cooling and sculpting the fudge on one half of the shop. The shop also had coffee drinks and ice cream you could order, but we focused on the fudge and chocolates. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the menu for the chocolates. But we did get a random samplers box with a chunk of Oreo Fudge. It was wrapped in a box for us and the chocolates lasted maybe only a day because they were so good! Highly recommend checking this place out if you're a fan of sweets or if you're looking for a sweet treat to bring home to a friend!

The girls working there are very nice. The ice cream is yummy! My fudge seemed old but the dark chocolate with nuts was really yummy. I bought some and went back before going home for more. It has become a must trip when I visit my daughter.

Fudge is always great. This is our favorite place to stop by when in fernadina. It was so crowded inside, though. Long wait time. But that shows how good the fudge is!! Wish they had a bigger space.

Good fudge and chocolates but the customer service will hurt your business. A very rude young lady acted put out when we asked questions.

We enjoyed our cones! We had the Mint Choc Chip, Choc Fudge Brownie, and Raspberry Haze, and all were creamy and outstanding. Lovely staff, and the smell of fudge was AMAZING.

Ice cream was good but the 3 team members that help us where kinda rude or where snarkie... 3 2 scops and 1 1 scoops was around 33 bucks so that hurts the wallet for plan scoop ice cream

Waited 30 mins in line just to be told they don't serve milkshakes 1 hr before closing because they're too lazy to clean machine. This is the third time this has happened to me so I went and got 1 at deNuccis no problem

The line was all the way out of the door. But I can't lie, it was worth it. They don't just do fudge. They do things like cookies, coffees, ice cream and my personal favorite...Root beer floats😋. The atmosphere has a very hometown feel. The service was great and with a smile 😊.

My friends and I visited in May 2024 for Memorial Day weekend. This place is fantastic just like the name 😉. The staff is amazing and the icecream is incredible. If you’re in Amelia island.. do yourself a favor a come for a visit

NOT what it claims. I understand why they don’t give out samples: it’s not economical in these tough times and if they did, no one would buy it! I think the ingredients are fresh (at least the marshmallows in the rocky road were), but the fudge was hard the next day! I made the mistake of assuming it looked so good, it would taste at least good. I didn’t get much of a chocolate flavor and certainly not the taste of nuts. My next mistake was buying it shortly before closing on my way to dinner, so I didn’t eat much more than a tiny bit on my way to restaurant…and it wasn’t creamy then. The next day, it was hard, grainy, and crumbly. Perhaps that’s not a popular flavor and it’s been sitting around, but for $10 a slice, I expected more. So disappointing.

One of the best ice creams I've ever had even though I'm a very basic vanilla person.

I was in the store back in April of this year so I was excited to make it back. The atmosphere is amazing and what you would want to find in a store like this. The staff are quick and friendly. The aromas are so nice. It’s a very popular place but really worth the visit. I enjoyed the fudge and chocolate samplers. The white chocolate sand dollars are super cool. Make time to enjoy the ice cream offerings as well. Enjoy 😉

Delicious fudge and ice cream shop, but there was quite a wait to be served.

Our “fantastic fudge” was just “ok chalk”. I don’t know if they are all like that, but the cookies and cream was very chalky. I’m used to fudge being smooth. Not even our kids wanted to finish it.

We get ice-cream here every time we’re in town and they never disappoint! So yummy!

The ice cream is very good. We had the moose tracks, strawberry cheesecake, cookies and cream, and a lactose free strawberry. On another visit we had the fudge and it did not disappoint. The only ding on the shop, and it falls on most ice cream shops, is they always seem overpriced to me, but that’s pretty typical of everything in a tourist area.

The fudge here is thick and delicious. There is no better place in my mind when it comes to fudge. All other types of dessert they offer are just as well crafted and splendid as the fudge!!

The ice cream is delicious and I love the atmosphere but ... The workers are very disrespectful I believe. Also they need to give us a receipt. I think they need to have more training on how to treat customers. I know they're young people but they need to talk to them and tell them how to treat people.

So while I was walking around I saw the fudge being made thru the window which of course made me go inside and the sweet smell of chocolate permeated my senses. Seeing all the ice cream and getting a cup of Cinnamon Strudel 😆 OMG. I quickly found the caramel corn and saltwater toffee to take home. Really sweet young folks working hard and being very polite. Hope they’re parents read that. 😊

Such a cute shop! The peanut butter fudge was AMAZING! The kids ordered ice cream which did not dissapoint. Every one was friendly and didn't mind answering all of my questions.

Delicious ice cream and chocolate treats in the heart of downtown Fernandina Beach! It’s a very popular spot and the line was out the door on Saturday night, but well worth the wait. We tried the ice cream but the fudge bars, baked goods, and savory chocolate desserts looked delicious…we’ll give those a try next time!

This place is so amazing it is better than my first experience way back in 1995. Ms. Jaclyn was amazing. She knew her ice cream and fudge. What impressed me is when I chose 3 ice cream flavors she asked the order I wanted the ice cream in the cup. That’s good cause some ice creams have solid fudge chips in them and would come out of the cup and on your shirt. This place is fantastic to say the least. Visit some time and you’ll see why they’ve been here since 1988.

Yummy chocolate covered treats, big selection. They were fresh too. The fudge looked great, and the raspberry ice cream was delicious!

Asked the server when they close and she said 10pm. Showed up at 9:35 and they turned us away along with several others.

It was late one evening after having dinner, I was craving something sweet but none of the other restaurants were open, so we discovered this lovely joint! The fudge is out of this world, and they have a large selection of ice cream, including one flavor that combines ice cream with their fudge. The staff is really friendly and lets you sample anything you want to sample for free and with great eagerness and smiles. They are very generous in their servings and give you several scoops of ice cream in a cone or cup. Their pecan praline ice cream was great! Would definitely go back!

We visited this shop twice on our trip to Amelia Island / Fernandina Beach. First to try the fudge and then later in the week for ice cream. Everything was fresh and delicious and they have a great selection. They were also very accommodating when we asked for then to use a fresh ice cream scoop for our daughter who has a tree but allergy. They not only got out a clean scoop (as requested) they also opened up a fresh container of chocolate ice cream for her (without being asked). Highly recommend!

We ordered Mango and Vanilla flavor ice cream, wow, tasted good!! Girls who served us were super nice! They also have hand made chocolate fudge too. Give them a try if you visit The Historic Downtown Of Fernandina beach.

It’s 9pm on a Saturday and the rude fudge boy wouldn’t open the door because the manager said to “close an hour early” NOT WHAT THE SIGN SAYS… there was no sign on the door about closing an hour early or on their social media. Went to Fro-Yo a few buildings over and it was better! I will always go there instead of here!

THIS ICE CREAM WAS SO GOOD. Like, AMAZING. And their waffle cones are SO GOOD. I loved it. I got the Praline, and it was amazing. So perfectly creamy, and I 1000% do not regret quitting my dairy free life for it. It was so good.

Oh my gosh! I love this place! Yes...the fudge is very good, but the ice cream is some of the best in the country! I will put this up against Greeters, Ben & Jerry's. Don't even bring up grocery brands. They even put their fudge in some of the ice cream. I've been coming to Amelia Island for over 20 years - we always make a stop here. Oh...and take home some of the fudge, pralines, turtles or other candies home to your loved ones and friends. The BEST!

Everyone had a bad attitude. Rolling their eyes at customers. A simple purchase was a bad experience. The guy that served our ice cream float didn’t even ask for what ice cream flavor we wanted in our ice cream float and decided plain vainilla was fine. Then when I said my daughter wanted certain flavor, he gave attitude. Mind that I said that on time before he placed the scoop in the cup but yet he did anyways. My daughter had to stay with that flavor. The cashier woman rolled her eyes at my husband when he paid. Overall ice cream and fudge were good but the customer service is the worst. These people seem so miserable working there.

You can have the best ice cream and fudge on the island but the rude teenage girl in the blue Dartmouth sweater was so RUDE & SNARKY I will never return. There is no need or reason to have such a nasty attitude when being asked questions. It’s literally your JOB.

Really gone down hill! The candy is 1/2 the size it was just a year ago but the price is still high. The ice cream is that's what you want to call it is frozen water with flavoring. No cream in it. Very disappointed. I don't mind paying for quality but this has turned into another rip off tourist trap😔
