Good food but a little pricey. But considering some of the proceeds go to local fire stations, I believe it's worth it.

Had problems with picking up a doordash order. The girl at the register was very rude, not to mention the guy with brown hair nd glasses(assuming he was the manager on shift) was rude also. After i contacted the customer, i went back in to see if there was any way to solve the problem nd i was completely ignored by him.! After hearing him talk on the phone about the doordash order, he walked back over to the sandwich station without saying a word to me.! If you’re a manager, yu should be communicating with your customers.! If you’re afraid to resolve a problem with a customer, then you DEFINITELY SHOULD NT be a manager or even ACTING LIKE you’re a manager.! 6/30/2024

I will be notifying the corporate office on how poor they treat oncoming employees. I came in to fill out application and do an interview aswell, u waited 45 minutes before leaving out due to horrible service!

The atmosphere goes down severely, Because they allow homeless people to use their restrooms which is a dangerous game berween overdosing in the restroom to bathing and leaving behins body lice for your customer base . Not healthy!

Do not go in and eat there. Do not order in person. Order online or on the phone. They will ruin your day. Every locations I’ve been to the workers are all rude and dismissive and cut you off and just rude. My advice leave the worst reviews for the customer service best reviews for food. I love there subs I always have they have the best gluten free bread. But do not eat there. All locations are rude!

The general manager that’s works at this location was very very rude. When I first walked in to explain my issue from the previous day she cut me off, did not let me finish my sentence and started to make my order without no understanding of what had happened the previous day. I had ordered a turkey bacon sandwich which had no bacon, I did not notice until I was already home. She then continued to cut me off as I spoke. She had a very bad attitude and mind you this is not the first time I have gotten lunch from this location with her being very nasty. I can’t imagine this is the type of person that you all would want to run your business or employees!!! I also witnessed her being rude to the gentleman that was after me. She is very lucky I did not cause a seen bc i sure could have!!! This is absolutely insane I will NEVER be going back to that location again in life. If I do it may not be a good outcome. The Sandwhich was no better this time then last time as the bacon was soggy!!!

I came here at 8:30 online it says the close at 9 when i arrived the stated they were closed and gave me attitude

2 years in a row I was refused my birthday sub. They tell me I must order online but after wasting 10 minutes resetting the password the website gives me a QR code for in store use, the attendant refuses to accept it even after I show her what it said on my phone as the manager hovers and keeps telling her the birthday subs can only be ordered online. Happy Birthday... NOT. Done with Firehouse!

We have been going to Firehouse Subs for 6 years now, started first in Illinois and now living here in Florida and have never had a bad experience. Great job to all the Team members!

Standard Firehouse Sub shop. The last time I ate lunch there, the ice dispenser was broken. Subs are always made well. Staff is always courteous.

Came in to redeem my birthday sub and buy a second sub for my girlfriend. Everyone just shrugged their shoulders and said they didn’t know how to redeem that and that it had just changed a few days prior when I showed them that the app wasn’t showing the reward. I asked the manager if I she could honor it in store with the purchase of another sub and was told that the owner doesn’t want them doing that. I’m not at fault for the app changing how the redemption works and any other restaurant would’ve just honored it as long as I meet the requirements and made the additional purchase. The owner should empower the management at this store to be able to make better judgement calls and not be so greedy and restrictive.

Delicious subs but I think I have had better at other locations. The staff could be more friendly but they aren't rude. It just could be nicer. I was having issues with my online order so they let me get my sub for free in store. I love the good options. So many tasty treats! I always get the firehouse meatball. I would eventually like to try the hook and ladder. They offer a cool bucket with a three dollar donation. I just didn't know where I was going to put the bucket. The soft drink dispenser didn't have any ice and some drinks weren't working so I just got a bottle of water. Most other customers were doing the same. The employees would talk about the other customers and employees in a sort of rude way after they left. I wonder what they said about me. 🤔 I was nice and everything. The atmosphere is nice. This location is quite small though compared to others. I think that all the locations near me are far better. Everything even cleanliness could be improved. Welcome to Firehouse! Does not participate in the military discount. Stale bread, not toasted. The meat and cheese not steamed. Appears the sandwich was prepared in advance and sat on a shelf. Very disappointed. Avoid. Not up to Firehouse Sub standards.

Sub was just ok. Doesn't compare at all to Publix Subs.

The subs here are a bit more expensive than the subway but they are worth every penny. Their dressings and sauces are so tasty. I wish you could buy them from somewhere for your regular usage at home. I had tried spicy Cajun chicken and the veggie. The quantity is also good for one person. Both of them Must haves. Must have sauces are Peppercorn Ranch and Spicy Cajun mayo.

This is the second time I have come here and experienced horrible customer service. Sherry, who is apparently the GM, yells at employees in front of customers and has zero concern for customer service. She got my order wrong and said she was going to fix it and instead served 3 other customers in front of me and then grabbed her purse and left! Really not sure how anyone would ever give her a management position because the employees under her acted with more class and professionalism than she did. There was another lady who worked there (who looked like her sister), who was yelling at another employee at the top of her lungs, saying that he was invalidating her feelings? Me and the other three customers in the restaurant stared at each other in disbelief. I will be going to another location from now on.

The food was really great. We all agreed that our sandwiches were very well made and delicious however the store was kept at an incredibly cold temperature. Our food got chilled pretty quickly and we were literally freezing by the time we left. I understand that sort of thing is on purpose and I think it's kind of rude

Just wanna say thank you for blatantly ignoring my existence in the store and allowing that white man & his child to straight ignore the line even after I stood there for 15 minutes. Thanks so much!! Definitely a kid friendly store I see!

Second & last time to order from here. Not like other firehouse sub places. Only had 2 subs to do and couldn't even get one right. Unfortunately didn't see until after bringing home. Ormond is worth going the extra miles for a sub made correctly

Good food but prices for sandwich is too high. Shouldn't cost 10 for ham 6 inch sub. It shouldn't be more then 6. My opinion.

Probably not going to return to this firehouse. I ordered a meatball sub, and the meatballs did not taste good. Like they were cooked that morning and sitting out all day. I don't think the bread was even fresh.

We go once a week to this place. However, when we arrived tonight, we noticed all chairs were up on the tables. It was 7 pm, so we asked the employees if they were closing. One of the ladies replied "we close at 8, but..."... insinuating that it was too late for us to stay. An older lady said "no, it won't take that long, you're good ". I don't like to be treated like that, so we turned around and left. I don't think I'll ever come back.

This place is a joke...their prices are ridiculous don't give them your business...ordered a medium sub which should be $9 and mac and cheese which they charge like $5...and a drink...comes to $19 ok but the mac and cheese is like less than half the bowl it comes in...like 20 cents worth...mac and cheese is the cheapest thing you can make...I called back and the manager was rude and hung up and saud I was rude for questioning the price and quantity...this was my first and last time trying this place...and you want tips and donations!? Ha!!!

The prices on the menu board didn't match what was charged, and staff didn't seem interested in making it right other than saying "Sorry, the prices changed on Sunday"

They had a roach crawling on the counter and dead roaches on the floor. One of the cashier was very musty and smelled like hot garbage, very unclean! I told them about the roaches and they didn't seem to care maybe because they were too high on something, they were acting very strange!!!! Unacceptable 😐🙄

I enjoy this place very much it's clean the bathrooms are clean. The people have good customer service skills. They make your food fresh and hot. This I enjoy very much. I like this Firehouse Sub because they put crushed pickles on the inside of my sandwich as well as solid pickles on the outside. Not all Firehouse Subs does that but this one does and I like this one very much.

Excellent subs,only tried the meatball dub but my friends had tried the Italian sub and said it was fantastic. The employees are extremely polite and courteous.

Typical for brand. Visited off peak hours (4:00 pm) and was served efficiently and courteously.

I just visited the Firehouse on 2525 W International Speedway near Ormond. To say I was not satisfied would be an understatement. I ordered a simple Turkey sub with cheese and mayo. Also, a side of Mac and Cheese for $4.19 I asked for cheese THREE times. Needless to say, I got home and NO cheese. In fact, barely any Turkey. Then I went to enjoy my Mac and cheese only to discover the container was HALF full! Horrible dining experience to say the least.

Consistently good quality and the food tastes good too. They’ve also never messed up an order of mine, even special requests. Highly recommend!

Despite severe understaffing of only 2 employees. They where friendly. Informed us of the wait. When they took order the food that was received was hot and tasted fresh. Firehouse corp may want to look into better management for this location, not a manager in site during lunch rush.

Overall delicious submarine sandwiches -- great ingredients as always; good customer service. I definitely should have looked in the bag, but they forgot to put in the pickle even though they asked if it was good to put in the pickle separately, and I said "yes." Ordered the italian sub, and it was ready within eight minutes.

Had to find somewhere else to eat again down in Daytona Beach due to obnoxious wait times so I went and got sandwiches. Showed up just before closing but the staff didn't mind. My order was perfect, staff was awesome, and the sandwiches were still hot when I got back to my hotel room to feed my family

Really like Thier subs. Lately this has become a more infrequent event with me because of pricing. The Mini though still gives you the super taste, on a smaller more affordable scale

The hot subs were less than warm. We ordered it in the store and waited so not sure, why it was not warm enough and the buns were soggy.

My hubby and I ordered Italian subs small cold med hot . Mine said No oni got four big rings om mine … special oil’s horrible cheap on cold cuts and I fresh bread … Jersey Mike’s sooooo much better . Never going there again

The subs are up to par with the usual firehouse standards and are delicious. However customer service is terrible. we were not greeted at the door, the girl at the cash register did not smile once or show the least bit of enthusiasm when interacting with us. We said our pleases and thank yous but received no manners or “you’re welcomes” back from staff at all. They were quite rude and cold. They also forgot to include the usual pickle spear with our subs. However food is always excellent, I eat here regularly. Just trying to provide some constructive criticism :)

This Firehouse subs was my first experience in one, and probably the best experience I've had in a sub type restaurant in awhile. The Hook and Ladder is absolutely fantastic and I wish I had gotten a bigger one! There was a large amount of choices for drink and side which is a plus, and the staff was very friendly and funny. I'll be back!

Sandwiches are never really consistent. One visit is good, the next, not so much. Overall, a great sub.

Store is clean, staff was friendly and food was good. In the past I have ordered a pastrami sandwich and also the Hook & Ladder. Right off I-95 and close to the speedway, airport and I-4, the location can't get much better.

Good as always but second time hair has been in my food from the girls not wearing hair nets or hats. It happens I get it, but when handling food they should have to wear something.
