Excellent food taste feel like homely made

The food was delicious...had the chicken Tikka Masala and Butter chicken with garlic naan...and was not disappointed...full of flavor plenty of chicken in both and made with pride and love... stopped at the Chevron truck stop to fuel and stepped into the restaurant and was blown away with the service and food....keep up the wonderful food and service....

I've had the palak paneer the Mattar Paneer and the bhindi masala. All were absolutely delicious. It's hard to find bhindi(okra) and they do it oh so good!!!

My favorite is Badami Kheer. It's a cold dish, like a rice dissert. Perfect after driving long way on 5 and 99. It's not too sweet. Garlic naan and mixed vegetable pakora are tasty, too. Made on the scene. Naan is soft. We ordered a 32oz lamb curry, but didn't finish it. Chunks of lamb. Good taste.

Had the Chicken Tikka Masala for the first time from this location and honestly it was the BEST !! I have allergies to cashews and usually most Punjabi dishes they add cashew paste. So I had called ahead and let them know about my allergy and they told me they do not use it for this dish and made sure it was good for me to eat. It is far from home but I was passing by and choose to try it out and I do not regret it one bit. The lady on the phone that took my order was very polite and friendly! Great Food and Service, I would recommend everyone to try it out ! 😍🔥

This is the best place to have authentic Indian food. They also have great service. We ordered so much food and each of the dish were out of the world. Definitely try makai ki roti and saag, goat curry and curry pakora, they were delicious. I am definitely gonna come back to this place, extremely Happy with the food !!!!!!

Easily the best Matar Paneer I've ever had. Perfection. The tomato base was spiced to ideal. Not overly spicy not under. That sort of spicy where when you finish eating you still have a bit of a tingle rolling around your gums. This to me is in fact the ideal scenario and perfection. Usually I get rice to put it onto, but after getting the order of Garlic Naan there was no need to dilute down. The garlic naan dipped into made this easily not only the best Matar Paneer I've had, but factoring in how incredible the coating on the veggie pakora was as well? This could be one of the best Indian Resteraunts I've ever eaten at. I will admit I was a bit hesitant when my wife and I were traveling down 99 back home. My wife navigating found this place, and when I pulled in the location made me a bit hesitant. It is adjacent to a travel center. And boy I couldn't be happier to have been wrong. Definetly fits the adage of "never judge a book by It's cover" - if you see this pop up and you are looking for an incredible place to eat, Definetly do not "judge a book by It's cover". This is a "hidden gem" of a place for sure. My wife had the Chicken Tikka and after a few bites of everything she determines this was the best Indian resteraunt she's ever eaten at. If you are traveling in this area be in on 99 or anywhere remotely close - this is a quintessential example of a perfect hour stop off during a drive. Get some gas. Stay. Gets some mindblowingly incredible food. At the moment I can say that I feel like 168 reviews and a 4.8? This is still underrated. Aside from the incredible meal everyone that works here was beyond friendly and courteous. From the person who served us, to the really nice older woman who had such a wonderful and warming smile on her face to the gentleman who came out from the back and chatted with us for a few minutes. Do wish my wife and I lived closer but I suspect anytime we are in the future within 30 minutes of here - we do visit Bakersfield every few months - this is going to be our go to. Menu is extensive and I would safely say that anything one may order off the menu is going to be 5 stars.

I had the lamb curry. It tasted incredible. The best ever. A little pricy but I made two big meals from it so it worked out. Truck parking right next door. I love this place. Mom&Pop place. Bread is fresh baked.

SO YUMMY! I couldn’t stop eating. The tea was perfect. The staff was a pleasure. Food was Scrumptious!!! I loved the Samosas and Garlic Naan and Garbonzo Bean dish. And Saag. 10/10 would come back when on our next ski trip towards Mammoth.

Completely unexpected, although not completely unexpected? Excellent food, friendly folks, great value. It's quite possibly the best restaurant in Delano, although I'm not claiming to be much of an expert, having only eaten at a few other places in the area. The atmosphere is Spartan and antiseptic, but the good news is that the bathrooms were amongst the cleanest I've ever used. Add some art to the walls and a little music, and this place could really bring home a win. We'll go back if we ever find ourselves hungry in Delano.

Ok this place must be under a magic spell or something…we literally stopped here the day after Christmas at 8p on the way home from our trip - no other food options around, totally in the middle of nowhere- and the food was amazing, like better than many of my favorite places in LA. Had samosas, chicken tikka masala, rice, garlic naan. All of the sauces and spices were top notch. Family run business. Will return.

Mix prantha with punjabi chaa too much tasty.so my punjabi brothers come and eat food on this place flavour of punjab. Punjab di khushboo andi ethe aaa ke.

I am a Trucker and this place have Very Nice and Polite people. We tried Dal makhani, Shahi paneer ,Aloo tikki chat and Mix Parantha. Food is fresh they make it all in front of you. I will come back again.

This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything here tastes amazing. Our favorite are biryani and chicken tikka, but we have tried almost everything here and we are never let down. There are many Indian restaurants here in Bakersfield but we don’t mind the drive to Delano for Mandeep’s food, we eat from here once a week, it’s that good 👍 I highly recommend it!!!

It was my first time trying this restaurant after hearing positive things about it so I decided to give it a chance finally. It definitely lived up to my expectations for sure. The service was very friendly and the food was amazing. The pricing was good as in comparison to the other Indian restaurants I’ve had. If you happen to be passing by the 99, I would highly recommend stopping here.

This is by far the best Imdian food I have... not just in the area, the best at at all. The service is great everything is made there... the garlic Naan is perfectly soft and crispy...omg so good. Today ordered lamb korma and butter chicken, amazing! Brought a friend who had never tried Indian food before and he loved it. It was so good I almost forgot to take pictures.
