They only serve single slices during lunch, not at dinner. At dinner, you can only order a pie. I won't be stop here again. Update due to the response from the owners. Your regulars might know your slice rules, but this information is for the average person who might stop in for a slice during off-peak slice hours.

Food not hot that I ordered on regular menu. Others food off the lunch menu was very hot. Great waitress. Didn't inform us that our group of 12 would not be sitting together.

Just moved to Ocala from Long Island 3 months ago , been on the hunt for good pizza, boy was I happy we decided to try this pizza , it wasn’t just good it was great!! And fantastic service , can’t wait to go back and try their dinners

Always great food and a pleasure

We moved to Florida from NY and have been missing our NY pizza 😩 It was always our Friday night go to. We tried a few places and didn’t like any of them. Well here it is Friday night and we REALLY wanted some good pizza. I did another google search and saw good ratings for Formaggio’s, so we decided to give it a try. This pizza did NOT disappoint. It was so delicious and reminded me of NY. The crust was crispy and tasty, the sauce was yummy 😋 and it was not drowning in mozzarella…which is what we found in the other places we’ve been too. We really enjoyed it. I highly recommend Formaggio’s pizza. We look forward to going back and trying their dinner menu. Thank you Formaggio’s for bringing us a little taste of home 😊

Being from out of town, I did a Google Maps search for pizza. The reviews looked promising. Formaggio's is a clean, quiet little place. The staff is very professional and attentive. And the food... Delicious! Quite possibly the best pizza our gang ever tasted. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

I was driving through Ocala and stopped by for a to-go pizza. The pizza was great, but the atmosphere seemed very nice with a bustling lunch crowd.

Everything was fantastic! The salad was fresh, the pizza delicious and omg the tiramisu was to die for!!!! Service was excellent too!

They have a kid's portion menu and nightly dinner specials, but you have to ask. We samples a neat lovers pizza, baked meatballs, spaghetti, garlic knots, tiramisu. All amazing.

Hey, I'd just like to sgare what happend to me they made a mistake on my pizza last week.. and the Owner & Employee had no problem Fixing it for me, the following week with a bigger pizza. The owner's a top guy shelf. He puts out a quality product at a reasonable price...I would recommend this place to anybody. I'm from New York and there's only a couple places in this town that you can get. Good Pizza and he's Definitely one of them!!!Stand up, guy, stand up. Business food is fantastic.

No waitress practically the entire time. Barely a drink refill. Bread and food came out of order. I didn't even see the waitress to flag her down, other tables were lacking too. Food was excellent. Pasta fagioli was on point. Authentic. Great food without having a full package, mediocre waiting staff. No bread until after the main meal and soup. Odd. Plus empty drink.

Best place to eat in town when it comes to Italian food. Pizza is top notch and the spaghetti is amazing. What am I saying, the whole menu is the best. Don’t ever change how you do things like the chains restaurants do you are doing everything right. If there are any bad reviews then go put your head in the sand cause your a complainer

EDITED: The best buffalo wings, hands down, in Ocala. Excellent food with great value. It's my favorite place. NO LONGER!! The quality of food has declined, and their dine in service is horrible, where it used to be pleasant.. I no longer recommend them.

The food is absolutely delicious!

I don't eat pork and I ordered the lunch special (2 slices & soda) with a group of people that ordered the same but with ham or pepperoni. They made the whole pizza with ham and pepperoni, and left 2 slices on the whole pizza just cheese. The pepperoni and ham juices ran throughout the whole pizza. Not only that, there was a piece of pepperoni on one of my slices. I had to wait for them to make me another 2 slices. If I go back I have to order the personal pizza so that they don't do the same thing. The chicken and fries basket, the chicken is not chicken breast. It's like compressed chicken parts.

We are from out of town and came by here on our first night arriving. I actually can’t believe how delicious everything was. We waited about 10 minutes for a table, greeted by a friendly waiter and ordered a meatball marinara pizza and the cheese bread and caramel cheesecake for dessert. I’ve been to Italy and I can’t explain it but I’ve NEVER had a pizza in America taste this authentic. I was pausing every few seconds The owner was super kind and checking on us throughout the meal. Would definitely visit more if we lived here.

Another wonderful supper at Formaggio’s. We eat here before every opening night show at the Ocala Civic Theatre which is not far away. Our usual server (Kim) was off so Mallory stepped in and did a wonderful job.

Excellent Greek salads! That's really all I can review, because I just got a couple of Greek salads to go, and they didn't disappoint. Exactly what I wanted, delicious. Sorry no photo, I didn't think of it soon enough and I had already devoured it lol.

We've went here for more years then I can remember. And the quality of the pizza always and I mean ALWAYS is top notch!!! The crust is amazing. Toppings are always fresh and abundant! Garlic knots are delicious! Love this place!

The order was to go, we ordered pizza and some super delicious cheese sticks, but my husband told me that the place looks spectacular that next time we will eat at the establishment since this was our first time of many that have to be 😍.

Way overpriced.......We ordered 1/2 tray of baked ziti and 2 large pizzas because we had a lot of family gathering on the day my dad passed away. The food was average and they charged $175!!!!

Haven't had the pleasure of dining in, mostly pick up, but staff is always great taking my order and awesome service. Not mention their delicious pizza. The only situation is parking, I understand it's not on them, though.

The service was quite attentive. The owner even checked on us. We had pizza, it was most flavorful- to the last bite. Even the crust was special and the whole pie was filled to the edges. We will be back!

I orders a pizza for take out and it was very good. If you are ordering for take out, call them directly to order, as the online menu is thru DoorDash and you pay more $$$ even if you are picking it up yourself.

My 16in pizza had 3 pieces with cheese. Horrible sausage today, tasted old. Pissanos has them beat by 1000%. Parking wasn't great. Acoustics are in need. Very loud. Reminded me of a loud pub.

Great place to get some Italian food. We had the deluxe pizza. They actually upgraded us a pizza size for free. Thr.pizza was very good. Mom had the stiffed shells and meatballs. Very cheesy and tasty. The service was top notch. We also had a Greek salad. Very good experience.

The pizza was amazing, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, light on the sauce, and well done on the crust. It did not disappoint. The pie was perfect in every way it could be for my taste. The service was second to none. The servers were friendly and made you feel like one of the family. It felt like we were regulars, and it was our first time there. The prices are great and the selection is great, next time I might try one of the pasta dishes. All in all, it was a great dining experience, one that I am looking forward to repeating.

I heard they had good pizza. So I placed a take out order yesterday about 5:00pm. I ordered a meatball marinara and a cheese pizza. I was told the order would be ready at 5:45. I picked them up right at 5:45. I drove my 15 minutes home. Both pizzas were soggy on the bottom. I understand the marinara sauce on the meatball pizza might have caused it to be soggy, but honestly, it shouldn't have. They should account for that. Even the cheese pizza was soggy on the bottom. So, I don't think I'll be going back. I'm very disappointed. Oh, by the way... I'm from the Northeast, Philly, and NY. I know great pizza, and this is not it.

I picked this restaurant for my birthday dinner and they are closed on Sundays. I delayed my dinner to Monday to go there. Our dinners were great and the antipasto was huge. I had the eggplant rollatini.

The food was good, the portions large, and the service was excellent.

We were a party of 9 with Kim as our server.... always awesome food. Salad, garlic knots, pizza and chicken parmigiana was excellent as well as our server Kim !

I really enjoy the food the sandwich I had today was delicious chicken parmesan but it was so cold in the restaurant I had to run out to the truck and get a sweatshirt it was so cold that it was uncomfortable and I use it on complain about the cold but

Very disappointing 1st experience. Heard the pizza was good here so I decided to place a pickup order over the phone. It's Monday night at 6pm and it took a few calls before they answered. A guy answered asking if I can hold for a moment and then was immediately followed by a female voice asking what I would like.. I told her I would like a large sausage pizza and I like it well done/crispy. She said give us 30min and we'll have that ready for you. I drive over 30min later to find out from the girl at the register that they have no record of my order. She went to the kitchen to check if the order ticket may have gotten mixed up but to no avail. She then proceeded to tell me that she could get one started right away and it would be only 10min until it was done. I declined since I was already waiting over 30min and I highly doubt the pizza I like to be made could be made well done in 10min. Poor organization and communication skills.. especially when there was more employees in the restaurant than customers. Atmosphere seemed nice though.

We are new to Ocala. Perhaps we are Pizza-spoiled having lived in Naples, FL for 30 years. We had high hopes for this 4.7 rated restaurant. Everyone was pleasant, the pie came out quick, but the quality of the specialty Margarita pizza was just - okay. We may go again to try some of the entrees but we'll continue our quest to find a thin, crispy, New York-style Margarita pizza loaded with Basil and Garlic. Suggestions are welcome!

Excellent food- when you dream of the perfect pizza, this is it. Thin but not too thin crust, perfect amount of crisp, not too much crust, and perfectly cheesy. I should have taken a photo but highly recommend looking at other reviews with them.
