We came to have breakfast and a very friendly girl Andrea served us, we are coffee lovers and she explained to us the properties of what they have on the menu... then we asked another guy and she told us that she was the manager, what a good girl they have representing them. All food fresh and very good

I went on Thursday, Barbara and Andrea treated us very well, they were almost closing and they still treated me very friendly, they gave me fresh empanadas and the bread was hot and very good.

The birthday cake was delicious, with a fluffy texture and a smooth, well-balanced meringue. I wanted a cake like those from Venezuela and they achieved it! Thank you Dania and Andrea for your attention and pleasing us with the details we requested.

Fortuna Bakery use to be so good when it was just that one bakery on John young. But now that one is no good, actually none of them are any good. The bread tastes as if they keep whatever they didn’t sell the day before or that week sometimes. We’ve even tried going at different times of the day to see but nope. They are not what they use to be at all. The bread is almost always served cold and it just taste old. It sucks because we use to go to Fortuna Bakery a lot but I don’t know what happened to it, it’s terrible now. But the people that work there are nice at least lol.

What a nice place, in the company of my friend NC, we had delicious empanadas and cakes for breakfast, we also brought home delicious cheese bread, a very quiet and familiar place, the Glorious music, make this place a wonderful place, Marcela put the special touch by treating us with such kindness, she is a very gentle person when serving us. Delicious empanadas They only made me wait more than half an hour and when I went to ask about my empanadas they told me that they were just going to fry them after they told me a 10 month wait. One of the girls told me if you want we will give you your money back. Imagine after I had waited 45 min I thought it was disrespectful Today 8/28/24

The place is great the food is wonderful. I just had to exchange one of my empanadas and a lady named Eliana was very rude, she gave me an attitude because I wanted to exchanged one of my item. Telling me that I was wrong and that it’s fresh. When I’m paying for my lunch and I explained to her that it sitting there for a long time. Just very rude ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, like fighting with me because of an empanada. Wow lol

Amazing panaderia/bakery/bistro. You need to get the Fortuna Sandwich filled with all the taste of Latino America. Their Yuca Rellena with cheese, and sorrounded with a beach of pork skin. Last but not least is their desserts, of tasty delicatense good. Don't forget the great service, clean dinning area and family treatment service. Do not leave to say hi to Jorge so he can tell you all the goodies they offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Well, we arrived at the Fortune Bakery in the Loop. I am looking for a large table for my 85-year-old aunt for the purpose of sharing a coffee. (Just note, my aunt walks with a cane.) The idea is to prevent someone from tripping over her leg. One of the employees (man). He tells me I can't sit at that table. According to, “I was busy.” There was NO ONE sitting at the table and no items on it. Just an empty bottle of water. The employee continues saying an older lady and her family are going to sit there. But there was NO ONE there or even close. People, we are in the United States, unless it says, wait to be seated at a table at the entrance. Don't get involved. Can you imagine what it would be like if the employee worked at a McDonald's?? Tell someone something like that, about saving a table for someone, (when he arrived he wasn't next to the local table either). If you are in a country that is not yours, adapt to the regulations of this country. First come first service. Otherwise, stay in your country. If they will not accommodate, set your company's rules if the tables are to be reserved for private clients. We cannot discriminate against anyone because of their AGE, RELIGION, sex, race or political affiliation. There was also no reserved notice on the table. The employee tells me, there was more table. First, I have the right to sit wherever I want, at least the business establishes notices, as they do in the same premises, the counter area at the back of the business. Where the notices say reserved. The employee, who also tells me the lady who keeps the table for him, is a regular customer. Well me too. He proceeds to tell me, God bless me. Gentlemen, do not include issues of religion, sex, politics or race in your work. The offense if I did not practice a religion in this country is serious. Employees should not imply their preferences toward customers either.

Chance made me see the place and I said let's go see and the sweets caught my eye when I arrived I asked the girl which ones were fresh she told me that a sweet is not left there for 5 days and she recommended the millefeuille because they were fresh Well, I won't regret it and in turn I wanted the strawberry one. As you can see, I didn't get to the car and I desperately opened the box. What a delicious sweet this is to transport me to my country. I recommend this for me. I would go every day.

Prices are too high for the quality of food, we used to come to Fortuna bakery in south chase because the service was great, (to be fair it's still good service) but the prices were better compared with other bakerys around but now is way too expensive and the product is average. Too sad Fortuna bakery, now that you have a lot of locations, your product went downhills
