I am a long time and loyal foxtail customer- wanted to try the Tavares location. I was a little disappointed when the barista didn’t know what a London fog was and proceeded to make a bitter, flavorless and not creamy drink. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my drink while I studied after the barista disappeared for an extended amount of time (I was the only customer there being served). I can over look that as I was not in a hurry but it got worse: Later into my time there many other customers came and went and a second barista started her shift alongside the other- she was excellent and clearly service oriented. The first barista that had served me earlier proceeded to audibly belittle and make derogatory comments to his coworker about the other patrons that had been there while I was studying. I felt terrible for the second barista having to listen to him- she did not engage but how awkward and I’m sure she felt really embarrassed to be out in that position. I was appalled and kept listening to hear what he might say about me! He did not but I had to bite my tongue not to go tell him the whole establishment could hear him and if he was my employee he would have been publicly fired and embarrassed.

Perfect in every way! I love that it is across from a public library, too!

Neat Foxtail location in more of a house setting with seating areas in the different rooms. The employees were friendly and the coffee was great. My wife enjoyed her hazelnut latte, and I enjoyed my iced vanilla latte.

This is an old house, turned into an amazing and clean coffee shop with delicious breakfast choices! Seating is available inside and outside, with an additional meeting space inside. Kid friendly as well!

LOVELY coffee shop in Tavares, FL! Cute, clean and delicious latte with optional sugar-free vanilla! Old house converted so I almost missed it, across from library. I'd highly recommend putting a big white OPEN sign in front/street side when open as I almost didn't go in until I walked around back and saw an Open sign.

Very clean. Fantastic restored historical building. Awesom staff. Very good coffee. Wonderful outdoor patio. Very nice interior works spaces, too. Definite must when in Tavares.

i was so thrilled to find out we have a foxtail in tavares! the decor inside the house is so cozy and cute and the baristas are soooo kind and upbeat :) great coffee and such good vibes here!!!!

Amazing staff and atmosphere. Plus I found out this shop was only opened to support charity work. Come out and support a local business doing the right thing.

the baristas are always so sweet! when it is empty they strike up conversation and make you feel very welcomed, such a cozy vibe to the whole place! i come whenever i spend the day at the library and it has always been very amazing! 🤍

The cutest foxtail ive ever been too. Service was was wonderful and it was such a vibe. Clean and great place to sit and relax with your friends.

This place is an entire vibe. What a beautiful location for a coffee shop. Foxtail Tavares gives you quaint coffee shop feelings with expertly crafted drinks. I love the indoor and outdoor tables, along with a children's playing area outside. If I lived down the street, I would be here everyday to unwind and read a book with a fresh coffee.

Baristas were friendly & crafted spectacular latte. Atmosphere is beautiful & relaxed. Will be a regular!

Ayrel is amazing. I get coffee from there most days and she welcomes me by name. She is very kind and also a great barista. This is great place and I always recommend it to people wanting good coffee.

Very cute coffee shop. I like to come here to study. Normally only one person working so the wait can be long if it's busy. Really small parking lot with 3 car parking and a handicap parking. Better to park at the library and cross the street.

Friendly staff, the food and coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was very enjoyable and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit as a family. Fast service, the manager was very friendly, accommodating, and patient. They have a small table for kids with crayons and books that my daughter enjoyed as well. We love the design of the remodeled old house it made it feel very homey. Definitely recommend.

The place is beautiful. Lots of areas to sit and relax both inside and outside. The back area is fantastic! Super friendly staff and the coffee is always good. Very welcome new addition to downtown Tavares.

Great place to take a break and chill during a hectic day. Right across from the Tavares Public Library.
