Mike was our server. Really loved his personality, made the already great food an even better experience! All the good was amazing, everyone enjoyed their food. Definitely reccomend their blacked Mahi Mahi! Update: once again amazing, our waiter was Seth amazing service. Friendly, fast service. Checked on us properly.

Rum runner was great! Service was good for how packed and busy they were. But my crab was over cooked in my dish. Loved the spice and flavor but missed the mark with overdone seafood.

Came last week for a repeat on the 1 lb Snow Crab Legs and was VERY pleased. Came back a week later and were barely edible. What gives? Old and dry, stuck to the shell and a pain to eat. Tasted too strong also like they were old. Don't think I'll risk it again. Thank goodness Snow Crab is widely available. Both bartenders asked how it was and when I told them I was disappointed they shrugged and said oh, well. Not worth the drive and $32.

Food & Service was outstanding. Clam Strips and Peel n Eat Shrimp were top notch, including Key lime pie, and service was spot on! Atmosphere tends to be very loud which made conversation difficult. We look forward to returning when less busy and trying outdoor seating.

Very good food, very good service. But $5 for a domestic bottle of beer that was very cool, almost warm was ridiculous. She offered to get another warm beer but I passed and had a margarita instead. They know they keep their beer at a warm temp, so maybe have a few on ice for those that want something refreshing.

Went here for our 30th Wedding Anniversary today thanks to our neighbor's recommendation. Was so pleasantly surprised that it's actually now my favorite Seafood restaurant in the area! Awesome crab legs and great service. A special thanks to Bill for the delicious Champagne toast gratis!!

Love it, great charbroiled oysters, and other things

We have had the raw and charbroiled oysters, med n lrg clams, mussels in wine sauce, n the conch fritters, all were great. The key lime pie is very creamy. The service tho was great ... attentive and on it.

9 out of 10.The only reason they get a 9 is because the coleslaw was terrible . Other than that, everything was absolutely superb one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been.Service was fantastic as well .

This is my absolute favorite place to go for seafood and oysters. By the way, the lobster mac & cheese is to die for! and the jumbo cheese sticks are about a foot-long, a cheesy goodness that is totally worth the constipation.🫢🫣😂🥰

Our food was delicious and came out fairly quickly. They do something slightly different as far as servers go though. A group of them serve an area so you may have three or four different ones in one dining experience. By the way the oysters and the cheese wedges are especially amazing.

Cesar salad croutons soft, lettuce limp. Mozzarella bites were great. Enjoyed the waitress.

We had a bucket of raw oysters, my parents had gotten fried shrimp and flounder and blackened shrimp n mahi.We haven't been here in about 2 years, the food was exceptionally good, oysters were amazing, if you love clams get the fried clam strip appetizer. Fantastic service as always!

Good good and plenty of it. My only dislike was that the restrooms and the area outside them was a mess. The floor outside the restrooms needs a good pressure washing!

I like the location and the atmosphere is relaxing but the food is mediocre at best and I don’t think I can justify the cost of returning.

I live in Ocala but took a trip to Tavares and had the pleasure of experiencing this gem. I had the grilled oysters and oh snap seafood boil. Absolutely amazing, best quality and value. Flavor and size of seafood was incomparable, far exceeds any other place I’ve been to. Seth was my server and was friendly, attentive, and really added to making the dining experience memorable. I had such a great experience that I simply had to order another drink and dessert. The key lime pie is delectable. Overall fantastic experience from food, value, service, location. 10/10; will recommend to everyone- definitely worth the trip!!!

By far the best priced oyster bar and seafood restaurant I have ever been to! They have every single thing you can think of from lobster tacos to seafood boils! I fell absolutely in love with Tikis!! THE SWEET POTATO WAFFLE FRIES😍😍😍

We were staying at the hotel above the restaurant so ordered food to go from the menu in the room. Prices on the menu were not even close to what they charged. We called just to ask if we had ordered incorrectly and was treated terribly. They were so rude to us. The food was no where near worth the price or the rudeness. The crab cakes were just gross for $20. Yes 20 bucks for 2 flat greasy crab cakes. The Mahi tacos were not much better for $16. The fish was like ground up...just weird. Would not go again.

Great oysters. Guy that shucked was friendly and made some great suggestions.

1st off, Madisen took great care of us with her friendly, professional service. We started with a dozen (actually 13) raw oysters ($19.99). This is one of the few restaurants that posts the price of raw oysters on the menu vs. "market price" at most restaurants. Also, Madisen mentioned they have different days of the week when the oysters prices and other items are lower priced. Nice, spacious restaurants, and different rooms, and they also have tables outside. After the oysters, we had a side salad ($5) a spinach dip with lobster, crab, artichokes, and spinach ($16.50), which came out piping hot with a good amount of pita chips for dipping. It's unusual to have leftover chips with any dip at any restaurant! They also have a special on Saturdays for a pound of shrimp ($10!!!!!) served either chilled or piping hot with old bay or a spicy garlic sauce. We had the old bay this time, but next time, we'll try the spicy garlic with some ice cold Yuengling ($5) on draft. They also have a full bar and a nice selection of craft brews. Thanks again, Madisen, for taking great care of us and your other clients. We're looking forward to coming back again... hopefully, we'll be lucky enough to get you again!

All was excellent for a large birthday party. We go all the time. Highly recommend the fried clams.

We go to Tiki West frequently by boat, we love the oysters and the staff is great. The one thing that bothers us the most EVERY time we’re there is the lack of cleanliness. Everything always looks so dirty! Windows, doors, and walls, restaurant equipment and cooler doors, floor is always trashed and the bathrooms are never clean. There’s supplies stacked up everywhere and the entire restaurant looks disorganized. We can only imagine how the kitchen looks. It’s certainly a turn off and no matter how good the food is we always question whether or not we should be eating there, especially oysters.

The BEST Blacken Mussels ever!! Oysters on the half shell are always amazing, the Ahi is fantastic, truffle frys to die for... Love sitting outside eating delicious food!

Super enjoyed our dinner tonight.. Especially, the Shrimp and Grits with pork belly was Devine… I had so many words of OMG with every bite of it! 🤩👌🍻

Great oysters, raw and charcoal grilled. Snow crab is, they swear, fresh, and very good. You can't make a disappointing choice. One of our favorites, we eat here once a week

Excellent seafood and local beer on tap. The oysters were fresh and the service spot on. Lovely area but parking may be an issue for larger pickup trucks and during the week. Expect to park a little farther away and walk

Went with some family and had a nice vibe to the place... More of a seafood joint and I don't do that.. I got the wings and a couple drinks.. They was on point, Will go back for sure!

We literally just ate there and the whole time I had to sit less than 2 feet from some dirty looking Yorky in a baby stroller next to a group of about six incredibly loud drunk elderly people while they pet and fondle this dog while I’m trying to eat. I told the waiter and asked him if it was a pet friendly restaurant he basically said no so I pointed out the dog he just laughed and said he didn’t notice it then went on his way. I get if it was a service dog but this was a dog in a damn stroller inside a seafood restaurant while there’s outdoor seating everywhere and they were petting and playing with it next to my food. Disgusting.

Terrible hostess. Sat people before us that came in after us. We got relegated outside and the people that came after got the table we should have gotten. The hostess gave them menus before us and they ordered before we even got our menus. Never going there again

Gotta tell ya. Very impresses with everything, and everyone one at Tiki West. They do their best to give a great experience and if at times they fall short, they make sure to make it right either there in the moment or in the future. Kuddos to yall.

Stopped here for lunch after arriving in Florida for a vacation. What an awesome spot! Supper friendly staff, even took our picture for us. Ordered a bucket of raw oysters and they were amazing! We also had the fried Gator, a little heavy on the breading but very good. Ice cold beers and an awesome view in the outside dinning area. Thanks for kicking off our trip with a very memorable stop!

We sat outside. My husband had the cheese sticks (Huge!) and the fried flounder & shrimp with rice pilaf and cheese grits (Large serving size!). I had the steamed oysters (a dozen), lobster tacos served with broccoli instead of fries, and a Yuengling Oktoberfest. In truth, I thought I ordered 1/2 dozen, but I ended up with a dozen, and The oysters were ordered first and served last. I intended to grab a draft Sam Adams Seasonal Octoberfest, however I did not specify other than “Octoberfest”. My lobster tacos were amazing! The two tacos were served with broccoli instead of fries per my request. (My picture is after I’d already eaten one.)

Great first time experience. The waitress was very attentive. The crab was so sweet, no need for butter or sauce. The shrimp awesomeness was delicious. We see a return in our future.

We stopped in to order for a table of 10 and the waitress seemed overwhelmed from the word go Flustered and confused as to how to handle a large table top. She complained and the manager came over and asked if we could leave. Guess she and the manager weren't able to handle a 300$$ plus order and a ridiculously large tip. Sucks to be them. Never to return and definitely never recommend this place EVER!

The food is awesome! We had the Oyster and shrimp with some sandwiches. Mike our server was outstanding and on top of everything. Definitely a place to visit when you are in town.

We went Monday for the clam special but they were out due to the busy Father's Day weekend, but the owner called another restaurant to see if they had any. We're always greeted with warm hospitality and we've love the food and drinks.

I enjoy eating outside watching the lake and enjoying the activities of Tavares. I enjoy the raw oysters, crabcakes, peel and eat shrimp.....everything on the menu is great.
