These are theeee best hot dogs I’ve ever had in my life! The onion rings are absolutely amazing. They are made fresh! She is so very sweet and personable. I can’t wait to try the junk fries. With the first bite I knew she had just gained a loyal customer. I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone.

Have been going to this hot dog stand since I was a kid. It was at the Snook .

NOT FRESHLY COOKED, I got served cold to the touch precooked Philly steak, that the lady forgot to reheat ,TERRIBLE, who knows how long ago that was sitting in the fridge accumulating bacteria and else, and to served cold even worse .I asked for my money back to never buy from them again.Buy from food trucks that you can see the food being cooked through a window in the front not in the back hidden from view there is a reason why they set up this place like that so you won't see .Be aware STAY AWAY .

I absolutely love this place. My favorite part is telling people about the Fredgie dog with peanut butter on it and they look at me crazy. I’ve now taken 3-4 people to try it they love it and have taken their friends and family to try it. If you live nearby this is a must. I absolutely love this place the foods great there’s almost never a wait time and they have benches that face the water that you can eat at. Sometimes when it’s windy if you don’t wanna hold your food the whole time you may wanna eat in you car but eating outside you see and hear the water and there’s always birds walking around wanting some food don’t cave! They won’t bother you if you don’t bother them! Be sure to look at the clipboard when you go there’s cards so you get your 10th dog free and trust me you’ll want it after you’ve had your first try!

This was our second visit. This time we had a Fredgie's original and a Carolina Dog that we shared. Both so very good. The Carolina Dog had the special chilli with peanut butter plus was topped with Cole slaw. The Cole slaw gave it a nice sweet balanced flavor. The location on the Indian River is so pretty. It was a gorgeous day and they have added lots of flowers and potted plants to enhance your relaxing experience. It's such a nice locals hidden find. 😋😋 A year ago: We had a Fredgie's Dog and a Chicago Dog. The Fredgie's Dog had peanut butter and chili, with spicy mustard on a Texas Toast bun. Although it sounds like an unusual combination, it was delicious. The Chicago Dog had pepper, tomato, onions, relish, spicy mustard, on a toasted Hot Dogs bun. It was, also, delicious and a few of the peppers were fairly spicy. Overall, we enjoyed both dogs. The lady told us about the history of Fredgie's Dog and they are close to their 40th year in business. She also said no one has disliked the Fredgie's Dog. The service was fast and friendly. There are several tables under umbrellas right on the inland waterway with a nice breeze and a pretty view. The perfect spot for a nice little snack.

I'm from Toledo Detroit area so I know all about Coney hot dogs! We have struggled mightily to find a good hot dog place in Florida. And trust me we've tried most of them! I'm going to keep it real; they are not Detroit Coney hot dogs! However, a really nice surprise was the toasted buns! Absolutely delicious! But I have buried the lead here. This one is all about the location. It's a food truck but it's located right on the shore. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO FIND THIS PLACE DRIVE STRAIGHT THROUGH. YES CROSS THE STREET AND IT'LL BE RIGHT THERE ON YOUR RIGHT HAND SIDE. While I did not give this a five-star for the food that is probably more indicative of my high standards for Coney hot dogs, But these are really really good hot dogs and a very good price!

I've been going here since I was a kid and even after over a decade this place still has some of the best hot dogs in South Florida. They also have pretty great burgers as well. I never miss a chance to visit here when I'm in town. Update: Fredgie's never disappoints! 10/10, IT IS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!

The food was definitely great, but the seating and the view is really makes the experience. I challenge anyone the try and find a spot where you can eat lunch for ten bucks on the ocean like this.

First of all, you don't know me. Secondly I gave it a three out of 5 stars (okay rating if you ask me). In addition to the above you sound very unprofessional assuming I am trolling for someone (which I am not). However, I will be sure to let all my social groups be very aware of the jump down your throat kinda ppl the owner of fredgies is over a three star rating. Get it together act more professional like a business owner should.

100% Delicious hotdogs and fries, amazing guys super friendly, was a relaxing time eating and enjoy the nice bay lagoon view. I will Definitely come back again.

What an absolute gem of a food truck! Got the Chicago dog and it was fantastic. Outdoor seating is shady and comfortable with a nice breeze coming in off the water, and the view simply cannot be beat. Great vibe!

The trash fries. TBH I’m a “don’t mess with my fries” kinda girl, but when I saw these, I had to try them. So good!! The burger, hotdog and onion rings were also really good! Thank you!

We love our home town Fredgies! We even have our favorite day of the week to go "Fredgie Fridays!". My favorites are the Trash Fries and the Cheese burger with grilled onions and mushrooms made to order. The folks working the counter and cooking are friendly, professional and fast! And you can't beat the location, sitting riverside with a nice breeze and view at the picnic tables that are set up with umbrellas.

Nice selections of food options. Sabrett hot dogs are the average dog not world famous as I had better. Skip the cheese topping as it was the fake cheese. Looked yellow but watered down and no taste. They have burgers and cheesesteak as well. Very reasonable prices and what a great location to sit at the picnic table and watch the water.

The Chicago dog is really good the cheeseburger is good to Philly cheese steak and a funny taste to it didn't really care for it the fries were definitely overcooked every time I go there but won't stop going back I'll just get chips next time not bad

Had Fredgies for the first time today and got the smothered chicken sandwich. It was delicious!! Fresh and hot, made right after I ordered it. Delicious flavors and the lady working was so sweet and you can tell she takes pride in all of the food she was making. You have to stop here!

We stop here all the time and way home from the beach and the hotdogs and onion rings are always very delicious. Great outdoor view sitting on picnic benches looking at Indian river as well.

Enjoyed a nice lunch at Fredgie’s. Tasty hot dogs and chili cheese fries. Nice little waterfront location. Lunch was less than 15 bucks. Tasty and a bargain. I will be back.

First time here always driving by so we went we like the food items, but the tables were dirty. the owner's comes out and smokes and smells like cigarettes blowing right towards me and my husband plus I'm on oxygen for lung disease I didn't appreciate it don't hurt to move away from the tables not everyone likes cigarettes smoke. Your product is subpar at best, not to mention over-priced, $14.75 for 2 hotdogs, fries and a soda. We watched both of your employees smoking and either washed or sanitized there hands before they served there next customer. Maybe a visit from the state will help you get your act CLEANED up. I will never spend my hard earned money at your dirty establishment again Period.

The view is the best part of this hotdog stop. The dogs were ok. The onion rings were tasteless. The touching of the face and hair while making our food is not good sanitation practices.

I had hotdogs with onions and wife had a chili cheese dog and we shared onion rings. Everything tasted good and prices were low. Great place for a quick, reasonably priced lunch. Seating is outside on the water under shade trees. It was very a clean and well kept area. It's also dog friendly with a community water bowl and you can get a doggie dog for a dollar.

Thank goodness someone still gives a $hit in Florida, when this place closes turn off the lights it's over. Aside from typical a-holes trying to run over pedestrians in the parking lot, it's still a truly wonderful and cheap experience after all these years

Nice. Very nice. Had a Chicago, a burger, and a classic. Side of onion rings and a side of fries. It’s what you would expect. All of it cooked just right and served fast. Buttered split top buns take it to the next level. Clean tables on the water with good shade and a clean porta John. Simple classics.

This place is killer. Found out about it 2 months ago and have been 4x now. Last 2 times the chili was cold on all of our hot dogs so im not sure what thats about but the girls were pretty swamped so im not gonna knock them for that. I'd be super interested in buying this place if you ever want to sell Mr Fredgie. Super cool little spot to chill.

I use to put peanut butter on my hot dogs as a kid. i was searching places for a good dog in area and found this place that actually had peanut butter on hot dog added with chili and mustard and it was amazing thank so much. We had it deleivered very prompt

The two ladies working in the stand are so sweet and boy howdy they can cook!!! Not only were the hot dogs good, we tried a cheeseburger, and it too was finger licking good! Came here with a coworker for lunch for a burger and hotdog, great food by the beach, started with a hotdog to hold me over until the burger was ready for a perfectly full stomach

I got a Freddie’s Special and both of my boys got cheeseburgers. Hard to believe, but peanut butter and chili really do go well on a hot dog :-) The cheeseburgers were also a hit with my oldest claiming this was the best food we’ve had on our vacation. My chili cheese fries were commandeered by my 13 year old, who didn’t think he’d want chili on his fries. Now he can’t stop talking about them. Since my fries were taken, I went back and got a Sausage and Peppers. That was also great. I’m kind of glad I gave up the chili fries :-)

A must stop if anywhere in the Stuart St. Lucie Jensen beach area. Best hot dog in the world, and that includes Mustards last stand in Evanston, IL.

George Moonis ,is a lair. Fredgie"s has been there 36 years and has never severed a boiled hot Dog, all hot dogs are grilled with a grilled bun. Really sad in these hard times that small businesses with 5 star reviews are struggling and fighting for their lives and scum like George want to bring them down with lies. Fredgie's does not want liars, that are out trolling to deliberately want to hurt businesses.
