Food was delicious. Customer service was horrible. Stepped outside for a min to put gifts in the car since we were celebrating a friends birthday. Came back and they said they threw all our food away after they added $40 gratitude for 3 adults. Not upset about the tip its the Way they handled the situation after they threw all my food away. They didn’t care. We weren’t gone for more than 2 min! Our server was Jordan.

So the food has good flavor but their down fall is that the food is always at room temp. I've been twice and I had hoped the 1st time it was just a fluke. We did get the Apple crisp and that was piping hot so we thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not sure if I'll give them another try, I want to but I don't enjoy cold food. Hopefully, they'll get that under control because other than that I enjoy the atmosphere and cocktails.

Frescos is one of our favorite restaurants downtown! The food is always fresh and flavorful. They have great portions and even have a dog menu for your pup! Staff is super friendly and attentive. We look forward to our Saturday brunches at Frescos!

This is a little hidden gem in Lakeland. We’ve been here twice in the past few weeks and we’re always happy. The ambiance is fun, the service is incredible and the food is fantastic. The first time Brandon served us, the second Mallory and both times Manager Shane chatted with us. These people are so friendly and accommodating. Oh btw, their happy hours are amazing and I’m coming back for their brunch!

On August 25, my boyfriend and I decided to take our usual Sunday brunch ritual to the next level by inviting his parents to join us at Frescos, our go-to spot. We’ve been raving about this place for months, so I was a bit worried when we faced a longer-than-expected wait time. I really wanted them to have a great first experience! But then, something amazing happened. After chatting with the manager, Shane, about our concerns, he stepped in and truly made things right. His attentiveness transformed our experience, making us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. He checked in frequently to ensure everything was perfect, from our orders to the overall atmosphere. It was clear that he genuinely cared about our comfort and satisfaction. And let’s not forget our waiter, Austin! He was exceptional—super attentive and full of great recommendations. He even suggested a dessert that blew us all away! By the time we left Frescos, we were all buzzing with joy from the fantastic service we received. We definitely plan to return and can’t wait to bring more family from Tampa next time. Frescos has officially solidified its place as our favorite brunch spot!

First time diner at frescos. Met a long time military friend here and wasn't sure what to expect. Exceeded my expectations by far. The food would make Gordon Ramsay proud it was sooooo good. The service was incredibly fast for how busy they were. They were packed and I can definitely see why. Austin was our server and he had us laughing the whole time. Most pleasant dining experience I've ever had. If I could give ten stars I would.

Nestled in Downtown Lkld, Fresco’s is definitely top notch. Our server Mallory was exceptional and she took care of us like we were family. My husbands meal was tasting off, and Mallory and Shane (the manager) were quick to fix it. I had the chopped salad with salmon and it was lovely. For dessert, we had the mini pecan pies- chefs kiss. All the food is amazing. My favorites are the buffalo cauliflower and the southern charcuterie. Prices are more than reasonable. My next goal is to try their brunch.

Popped in here for lunch on our way from Orlando to Clearwater. Sonny the bartender is an awesome super fun and funny host. Food was great and got to meet the “mayor” of Lakeland sitting next to us. Highly recommend!

Fresco’s is located in downtown Lakeland and parking isn’t hard to find on the weekends. There was plenty of parking around 10am. We were seated with a call in reservation but it’s just really better to show up early and get a table before it gets busy for brunch. If you have Chase as your waiter, you’re guaranteed to have a great time with great service. He made sure we were taken care of and even recommended a watermelon mojito when I didn’t want the blackberry one and it was absolutely delicious! Turkey BLT: 5/5, it was loaded! Fries were really good! Steak bowl: 3/5, it was okay. Creme brulee: 1/5, I don’t recommend at all. It was very bland and nothing close to a creme brulee. Food and drinks were good but Chase is the #1 reason we would go back, he was awesome and his vibe was very welcoming. Try out Fresco’s if you’re ever in Lakeland!

Breakfast was outstanding! Our waitress was too notch, courteous and efficient. Would definitely recommend for any meal.

We were in town from Orlando and stumbled upon this gem when we googled brunch places. The food was delicious. The staff was amazing and very cool vibes at the bar. We will definitely be back soon!

First impression was great. Hostess was very kind and accommodating. Our service on the other hand was completely awful. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks. A passer by dropped off our apps saying "here you go and left"...no plates. Our server was nowhere to be found, yet once I did we were ignored twice. Finally got our plates with an apology. Dinner was then served shortly after. No complaints about the food other than some items lacked freshness. In the end...we had our plates stacked, ready to pay for an additional 20 mins before I asked additional staff for help. What looked to be a manger came to our table saying, "I'll grab these"...and left, no apology for an additional delay in our service. Our server then shows up shortly after with the bill. Oh and we had left over flatbread pizza so I asked for a box...was given a styrofoam container with separation slots for sides instead of an actual pizza box we could lay our food flat in. We couldn't get out of there quicker. What an awful anniversary dinner experience this was. I'm so disappointed in the service we received. We will not return.

Had a wonderful evening dinning at this establishment. Our server "FSU" was on point and very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Frescos is deff one of my to go spots in downtown Lakeland. The food is exquisite, the girls working there are so professional and sweet. I went for brunch the first time and the girl taking care of me made sure she kept the unlimited mimosas coming. The atmosphere feels so warm and inviting even though it is very popular and crowded. I love their caprese salad paired with a glass of wine. The second time I had the salmon and it tasted so FRESH! 10/10 recommend Frescos.

Excellent Bar staff and drink selection. Have not had a chance to try the dinner menue yet, but eagerly waiting for the next visit.

Finally found a place that serves Monte Cristo’s. These look fancy and delicious. They look fancy and are delicious; made from scratch. Also have to remember to try egg rolls next time from what they told me.

The food was good. The bread could have been toasted better on my club sandwich. I asked for a cup of ice and didn’t get till the end lol. Their mimosas are great and bottomless but they’re really slow bringing them out(3 within a 2 hour span). Drinks weren’t refilled either. First time there tho. Maybe our expectations were higher.

Love this location, been going here since 2019 and have NEVER had a bad experience. The drinks are great, bottomless mimosas, food is amazing, staff is great (Love Sonny). Recommend this place to everyone who will listen

We have eaten here every visit to Lakeland, and we love it! Unique twists on classic comfort foods, you need to get the honeyed brussel sprouts appetizer and pecan hand pies for dessert! The fried green tomatoes are also a favorite of ours. We had the seared salmon, and braised short rib. Both were excellent!

While I found the location very convenient, Lakeland Auto Mall, the menu is very limited, but the service was served with a great smile!

service was slow. Spent about 20 min of my visit waiting for someone to come around the table. I would have ordered dessert, but no menu was offered and the next time they came around, it was with the bill. I paid and left.

Trinity was great! She always was smiling even we were being difficult!!! That’s what I call great customer service!

Incredible shrimp and grits! Top 3 I have ever had. The bartenders were fantastic and super knowledgeable on whiskey. They went above and beyond and gave me great recommendations. The selection was amazing and surprising for a place like this. Will return anytime I'm in Lakeland

I love Frescos! I had the lobster Mac and cheese. It was delicious and enough to take home for another meal. My Brother Bill and my Mom had the teriyaki chicken with fried rice and egg rolls. We got the chocolate peanut butter cake to share for later. We can’t wait! The whole experience was wonderful and we will be back!

Shared two flatbreads and a side of the Crispy Honey Brussel Sprouts - heaven. The brussel sprouts were so crispy and just the right amount of honey. We had the Roasted Margarita and Fig flatbreads. I preferred the Fig without the apples but Mom liked the apples. The Fig is a little sweeter but both were DELICIOUS! Jordan was also amazing and anticipated needs I didn’t know I had - 12/10 recommend

Being a Polk County native originally and visiting this place from Tucson, Arizona, while I’m down for my father’s open heart surgery, I was excited to finally get a chance to try this spot. I tried the filet with mashed potatoes and my mother tried the brisket fries. The filet was yummy but overpriced at $32 for the small serving on the plate without a doubt. Suuuuper light box if getting to go. The brisket fries was just okay at the $16 price tag. The food was good overall despite the small portions but there was a lot to be desired from the young girl and the two young guys who was working at the hostess desk when we walk in. They think it’s funny to laugh at customers as they’re walking off. It’s going to run off customers. I would come back before I leave for Tucson next month to try something else and give it another shot but ehhh. The hostess kinda made us not want to and my parents live here in this town permanently and always have. It was also my mother’s first experience here and she was wondering why the hostess was laughing at us which reeeeeeeally made me want to say something but I gave y’all a pass for her sake because we’re already dealing with a lot due to my fathers double heart bypass at Lakeland regional. Parking was pretty difficult to find which also took away from the experience a bit as well. The server who rang us up for our pick up order was really nice and did a great job. We wouldn’t come back just because of that hostess and the small portions which we could have overlooked had it not been for that brat hostess. 07/05/2024 - 8:07pm was our visit according to our receipt. I’ve been here many times, for brunch. Corned beef hash! 👏🏻⭐️👏🏻 So very good! I came today while driving by Lakeland and had lunch. OMG so…the Rueben is just as fantastic as the hash. 🤤 This place, every time…so delish! Definitely a quieter, more calm atmosphere during the week. Love love love Frescos! Food is outstanding and service with friendly smiles!

Thank you for having gluten free options. The food was excellent. Not too many options for gluten free in Lakeland. We both had the bowls. It was also dog friendly. We sat outside in a well shaded area. I would recommend this restaurant as a must try.

Our first time here - amazing!!! Our waitress, Aliva was wonderful! Very personable and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the beet salad and my husband has the reuban with coleslaw. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had dessert... the peanut butter cheese cake was very, very good. The chocolate fudge cupcake was very rich. Great atmosphere, food and service. We definitely be back!

This was my first time visiting here. Nice cozy atmosphere. I must say the food is cooked to perfection. It was good. The unlimited mimosas was also a must try again. I enjoyed my lunch date with my husband. Only problem is our waiter was not very friendly. I mentioned to her that this was our first time there. She asked us what drink we wanted. Not stating what were the choices of products. We had to ask questions about Everything b/c she did less talking and a whole lot of rushing. Next visit, i hope we have a much friendlier waitress. Who is willing to introduce us to this place properly. I want to try more foods and drinks here.

This place was fantastic! Two people in our party had the sirloin, although the portion of the potatoes really should be bigger considering the cost of potatoes is cheap the steak was cooked to perfection!!! We had a minor issue but the manager came out immediately and not only made it right but went well above and beyond what needed to be done. I had the Pork Tenderloin and it was mouthwateringly delicious also cooked to perfection, and the grit cake YUMMMMM. My aunt got the Maple Chicken and didn’t even offer me bite!! She said it was fantastic and the sweet potatoes were the best she’s ever had. Our waiter was great and knew how to “read” his tables, when he was at our table he was hilarious and telling jokes because we were fun and joking with him but then he would go to his other tables and was the epitome of professional as that was the vibe they gave. We ordered drinks and my husband ordered a whisky he hadn’t tried before, which the bartender overheard. Next thing we know the bartender is at our table with 4 bottles of that whisky as it had different types and he wanted to make sure my husband picked the one he really wanted to try. I will definitely return when I’m back in Lakeland.

I’m off on a beautiful Sunday day off .. which means: Brunch! Was initially thinking more like breakfast at my local diner in walking distance. Lucky enough, I check to see if it’s open before walking cuz.. Lakeland 😩 ..ugh no offense but it’s quite offensive for a whole diner to be CLOSED on a Sunday. (I won’t “air out” said diner in question because I plan to give them a great review as well ..yumz) Side note: I would have been pissed walking in Florida summer heat to find it’s closed. But that’s not what we’re here for.. sticking to subject at hand: Welp to FRESCO’S ❣️ it is then. Brunch is my favorite time of day (on -we from Jer-Z pronounce this word as awN so excuse my vernacular- awN a Sunday ESPECIALLY) If we’re not going to Fresco’s for weekend brunch in Lakeland then what are we doing?! Oh “avoiding traffic” I suppose. Which is valid. There IS a wait (hence diner first choice) but that’s for a table with no reservation. I mean if “we’re not awN a wait, we ain’t poppin’ .. no?!” ..seating outside and at the bar was first come first serve. Initially I’m thinking “oh it’s a beautiful day out lemme sit outside”. The host was kind enough to get me a cute lil’ table in the shade promptly. No wait at awL (keep up.. I’m from Jersey.. that’s “ALL” to yous guys). I had to rethink this decision while waiting on my server. When Steven greeted me just within a couple minutes I was already sweating from humidity. (How do yous survive this Florida heat ??? )🥵 I knew his name because the hostess let me know his name in advance, which I think is pretty awesome and thorough. The hosts “be on their job” lol So I tell Steven (excuse if it’s Stephen) .. “man it’s hot out here I’m thinking of just eating inside instead”. He understood the assignment, went inside, and found me a spot at the bar. Shout out to Steven whom even validated my change of heart telling me about having to serve out there is especially brutal. With no issue at awL lol he didn’t miss a beat. “Aye!! Give my boi a better section! He deserves it” lol Talk about VIP treatment. I just wait at the table outside, that no amount of ice and water could relieve me from. Steven pops out from the back and says “follow me” in no time and walks me to the only spot left at the bar. He informs me “the ladies (guests) at the bar were made aware of me joining them” -something to that effect. I won’t even mention while walking in through the back, escorted by Steven, I run in to Chase. Whom I know through an old co-worker/ friend at the Terrace Grille. (That review.. mmm not so 4star but I’d recommend you go see Chris for a drink at the hotel bar or ask for Kaela -one & only among many Kaylas at the hotel I once worked but that’s for your Googling pleasures) Chase was awN his “busy worker bee shi” 😆but still had time to stop and say hi. Hugs to you! (He even mentioned my former review lol it wasn’t the best -what can I say, I had the inside scoop). Epic to say the least. Love you too bro❣️ Digression Needless to say I felt special in my “just rolled out of bed messy hair” glow. Sunny (excuse if it’s Sonny but he shined like the Sun so it’s only appropriate) is an amazing bartender that took care of me alongside Brandon. Did I mention bottomless mimosas. Yea excuse the long story review. The food is always great.. even made friends. In short lol great service.. nice atmosphere, make reservations (!!) because we come for the food. I’m full and defeated (I say this when I can’t finish and in this case it’s my French Toast -to go it is!! I got so full). It’s only a win when I’m a part of the “clean plate club”. Front end host/ staff was very pleasant, very knowledgeable, and accommodating for our party. Waitress was patient with great table manners and suggestions for brunch. Portion size was excellent for the amount invested. Overall, excellent establishment for a sunday morning brunch.

Fresco deliver a fantastic breakfast. They have vegan options which was perfect. I ordered an omelet with vegan crumble, and it was delicious. We did however had an issue with our cranberry juice. It appeared to taste like the line used for dispensary was previously used for sangria. The waiter had to take glass back and brought new fresh cranberry. Which makes me wonder 🤔 they've cleaning bar procedures... other than that. Service was good and food was excellent.

Zoe was our waitress and she was quick, polite and very helpful! Food was delish, I had the chopped salad with grilled salmon 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 brought home dessert so can’t tell you all how it was yet! 😉

While food was good. You should not offer bottomless drinks at brunch and then send hostess over to let you know it is time for you to go. Next time maybe they should let you know up front there is a timer. Likely will not be back nor recommend to others.

For lunch, I ordered the chicken salad croissant with the pasta salad and a Lakelander beverage. At first bite, the sweet flavors of the chicken salad exploded in my mouth. The tenderness of the chicken with a bit of sweetness and a soft, buttery croissant were absolutely divine. The pasta salad was light, cold and refreshing, my drink was satisfying and I loved the cinnamon stick it was served with. And of course, I had to have the best dessert EVER: Creme Brule. My server, Brandon, was friendly, engaging, and attentive. This is the place to enjoy your food instead of scarfing it down. Thanks, Brandon!

My sister is getting married so we decided to get all the bridesmaids together for brunch. The food was good, drinks were okay but can’t complain with the price, and our waitress was excellent. My issue was we sat down at 9:59am and we understood there is a 2 hour limit. Once we hit 1.5 hours, an older bald man came to our table and told us we needed to leave as we had been there well over 2 hours. I explained we knew about the 2 hour limit and our party was finishing their drinks and we’d leave but that we had until 11:59am. He was insistent we’d been there over 2 hours and had other people to seat and that we needed to leave to make room for others. This hasn’t been my experience before but we were very upset that he lied to our face and was trying to push us out the door. He wasn’t polite and showed 0 customer service. He didn’t even greet us, just walked over and said we’d been there too long and needed to leave. If this is the service he has to offer, he needs to be kept in the back because he doesn’t know how to talk to people.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here last week. It was just fantastic. The pre-planning was easy, and the room was set as we discussed, with a custom menu. Both the service and the food was above our expectations. We expected a good night and good meal - this was a great night and a great meal. Everyone in attendance (21 of us) had very nice things to say. Thanks for being part of our son/daughter-in-laws weekend!

The manager Shane ( I believe) short little bald fella.... he was an absolute delight. Cheerful, upbeat, walking around with a smile from ear to ear. I will definitely be coming back, hopefully the lil bald guy will be there!!!! Ps the deviled eggs are to die for.
