Love this place! Great variety of local goods and friendly service!

What a lovely family farm shop. The owner Theresa and her daughter Rachael took time to talk about the farm and made recommendations of other area farms we should visit. They have local meat and cheese, yummy cookies and pies and scones. The scones tasted (almost) just like mine, not dry at all. They also have a large selection of cute gift items. They make cool seed starter pots from cow manure to help reduce the amount of plastic that goes into the landfill and make use of something most farmers get rid of. This place is totally worth a visit!

Didn’t appreciate being called greedy by the owner this morning (Thanksgiving) for asking to purchase two chocolate pies. I’m usually good about ordering my pies in advance, but my son was just diagnosed with an incurable autoimmune disease three weeks ago. So in between the multiple visits to CCMC, labs, MRI and iv infusions, ordering pies by the deadline slipped my mind. I’m sorry you’re frazzled, short handed and have had a busy three days, but I would trade you my last four weeks for those three days any day. Please be kind and don’t judge, you never know what someone else is going through.

An otherwise decent business with a good selection of boutique food products, and plant nursery. But I had a problem when checking out. My purchase was less than $10, I only had two bills in my wallet, a $20 and a $5. An older woman checked me out and gave me the total and I handed her a $20, she was momentarily distracted and when she came back to give me my change it was change for a $10. I said I gave you a $20 and she fired back I had given her a $10 and was emphatic about it. I protested a little and she stood her ground. I'm an easy going guy and I didn't want to make a scene, I do value my money but for $10 I wasn't going to get into it with a local. (Update edit) Freunds did reach out to resolve the issue I had, it shows they are a business that values it's customers and integrity.

Great place to stop by! Their pies are really superior, especially the cherry pie. Their chicken pot pie makes for a tasty and easy dinner too! Best produce and a fun environment. Their employees are cheerful and the bakery treats are lovely. Five stars all around!

One of my favorite places to go in the summer. Freund's has a wonderful selection of plants for perennial gardens. Ornamental and fruit trees (small selection of trees, but very nice) a greenhouse full of vegetable plants and flowers...it's fun, and relaxing, to walk around and find what you want. They have chickens to visit with and a very nice store where they sell fresh eggs, baked goods, and a lot more. It's kind of like an old general store. The staff is always friendly, helpful and relaxed. They remember you from one visit to the next and always welcome you with a smile and often talk with you for a few minutes. It's worth stopping at Freund's....it's great.

We always look forward to stopping at Freund's on our annual trips to the Berkshires. Lots of selection, a variety of treats, and incredibly friendly staff. Visiting with the chickens in the parking lot is also a highlight. This year's highlight was a coconut custard pie. So yummy!

Stopped by this market/farm. The girl working there was so helpful & very knowledgeable about the farm/area’s history. They have an amazing bakery. You must try the apple cider donuts!

This is a lovely garden farm market. Fully stocked, very organized. The market side has homemade goodies. My experience with local small business is use cash if your able. It saves them the 3% on c.f. transactions.

Great Great Family and Great Great Hard Workers...Congratulations...21 years ago I worked in that Farm with Theresa, Mathew and Benjamin, I learned so much with them, Theresa is a magnific woman she knows so much about her bussines and her flowers...great learnings from them... Mathew F. Her Husban a great man too... very smart person...one day he teach me a great lesson in this quote: Theresa my wife and Me togheter are likes a 25 cents coin...She is one side and I am the other side...(Mathew's philosophy)...with that comments He teach 21 years ago a Great Lesson that I will never forget...Thanks Mathew, Thanks Theresa and Thanks Benjamin and I am so sorry for my personal errors but the men path will be covered with error untill we die and as a Job says in Bible at the end my errors will be mine anyway and Favian says that ERROR IS THE KEY TO THE SUCCESS...hugs.. and God Bless You So Much!!! ..You are part of my History Freunds Family... Authentic farmers store. Family owned. Great pies, cedar and apple donuts. Knowledgeable staff. Not a tourist trap.

Love this place, so much fun with the amazing spoiled chicken and caws. Great staff except for an old lady that kept telling us to leave and refused to help us but the lady owner/manager was great. She even gave us 3 live organically healthy chicken for $15 box😀
