First time here and I found the price to portion quantity to be fair. The steak was a bit on the salty side but everything else tasted great. The service from the staff was great.

I don't like the food very much, there are other very good Fritangas in the area. The people who serve are not very friendly and the place is hot and the music is very loud!!

The terrible service where the girl chooses the smallest portion of roast meat is in very bad taste and one feels discriminated against.

I have been visiting this place for several years, at the beginning everything was good, but lately the food has been terrible, which is why I have left. The meat sometimes comes out raw or burnt. The gallo pinto is sour or burnt, sometimes tasteless without any taste. Sometimes you don't even feel the salt in the meat. You should sell quality and quantity and, as good owners of a fritanga, you owe it to your customers. I hope you improve the service.

I've been a regular customer at this takeout restaurant for some time now, and while the food quality is undeniably good, I've encountered persistent issues with inconsistent pricing and a lack of transparency. Despite being a loyal patron, it seems like every time I visit, the prices mysteriously fluctuate. As someone who doesn't speak Spanish, I've often found it challenging to communicate my concerns effectively, especially when attempting to address the overcharging that occurs far too frequently. What's particularly frustrating is the dismissive attitude I encounter when I try to point out the discrepancies in pricing. It's as if my concerns are simply brushed aside, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Adding to the frustration is the fact that they refuse to provide itemized receipts, opting instead to only give a total, making it impossible to verify the charges accurately. While my family enjoys the food here, the constant worry of being overcharged has significantly diminished my enthusiasm for patronizing this establishment. I find myself avoiding it whenever possible, only resorting to ordering when I'm absolutely desperate. It's a shame because I genuinely enjoy the food, but the lack of transparency and feeling of being taken advantage of leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Until these issues are addressed, I'll sadly have to take my business elsewhere.

The place is good, excellent service from the young women....The big problem...they don't have a phone number to place orders, not everyone uses Uber Eat, plus I always buy delicious, very juicy grilled breast, now there is a Instead, they are dry and hard. What a disappointing experience. The place is kinda dark considering the whole front entrance wall is all glass. When I went to look at the food I noticed that the trays didn't have any steam coming out and I asked the girl if the food was hot. She responded with "the fire is on." I then liked at the area where the cheese and maduros were and noticed the glass covering was fogged up from the steam. I then asked the girl if the area where the food was was hot because I didn't see the stream and she responded with the same response "the fire is on" as if saying I already told you. I trusted what she said and placed my order, but to my dismay when I went to eat the was not hot at all. I then told the girl that the did was not hot and she then gave me the same response again "the fire is on" and asked me if I would like her to hear it up in the microwave. I asked for the manager or owner and she said the info is on Google. So here I am. I wish I could give this place a negative star. I find it ridiculous to pay for me to have to reheat food that's suppose to be hot. Needless to say I won't be going back there ever again.

Great food at affortable pricing

Unfortunately does not have the authentic fritanga taste. Carne asada tasted different also thr Gallo pinto tasted different. Sorry for the 3 stars but I've had a few fritangas in this area and they don't taste authentic. I really hope you guys can try and improve the taste as I'm right around the corner from you

Super stale old food. Went once and never will go back.

The gallo pinto literally had no flavor, tasted very watered down. The meat was salty and dry. The only decent thing was the queso frito but it was a small piece and dry too.

Este lugar la comida era muy buena pero ahora no está bueno tiene mucha sal la carne no parece carne asada no tiene buen sabor es muy caro para la calidad hoy gaste 49 dólares y me dolió haberlos gastado y la papa con leche muy fea tienen que cambiar como la cocinan la vida esta muy cara para uno le sirvan una comida no bien preparada y la carne asada esta muy cara para que tenga ese sabor yo no se si son los mismos dueños pero tienen que cambiar gracias😡😫

I was starving and asked my partner to pick up some food close by. He brought home a couple things, fried cheese, platanos, yucca, rice with chicken, potaotes, and carrots, beans, and the rice and beans mixed ( I forgot the name of it) the mixed rice and beans smelled spoiled, we didn't eat it. I told him to take it back but he was out all day so we decided to call to let them know. We tried a couple times but no answer. So here I am, writing a review. If they answered I wouldn't have written this. The other food was ok but nothing special. Platanos and boiled yucca were really good, everything else was flavorless. Did I mention the rice and beans was spoiled. They served us spoiled food. : /

E estado en esta fritanga mucho pero mucho tiempo la comida siempre deliciosa el personal muy atento todo el tiempo pero una persona que me impacto mucho mas fue JOMAR muy atenta en lo que yo ordeno siempre con una sonrisa en ella pero ya no la e visto mas trabajando en el horario que yo voy a comer al restaurante.

Soy cliente habitual y tengo días de no recibir el mismo platillo agradable, dias si otros no, siento como que cambian de cocinero como hoy el arroz estaba duro los frijoles demasiado aceitosos y la carne cruda, me encanta el sabor y casi diario almuerzo ahí pero deberían mejorar si van a cambiar de cocineros al menos entrenarlos antes, sinceramente quien cocino la comida hoy no sabe hacerlo, por otra parte también deben entrenar a sus despachadores hay una chica delgada pelo corto que no me pone cubiertos y cuando le reclamo me dice que no se los pedí, no se si ella come con las manos pero al menos la mayoría necesitamos los cubiertos para almorzar. Me gustaría que tomaran en cuenta mis sugerencias como cliente ya que siempre aprecio una buena comida

Really good food when looking for a decent affordable lunch and dinner. Really good taste of Central American food. My reason for the lack of 2 more stars is freshness specially with the rice. I would put special attention on the use of salt in your food, as it is sometimes too salty or doesn't have any salt at all. So, consistency is key for these guys to improve.

I really enjoy the food. The best so far it is nacatamales 🤤 and prices are affordable. I would keep eating food from here because of its variety too. Thank you

Hola señor o señora, solo quiero hacer una crítica constructiva, yo soy cliente fijo de esta fritanga porque la comida es deliciosa, pero con esto del covid tu sabes que hay que tener mucho cuidado y pues he visto que la muchacha de ojos verdes la blanquita cada que llego esta pegada a su celular, y señora usted sabe que están manipulado dinero y después coge el celular y después me despacha la comida ya esa comida puede venir con el covid, la verdad es que me da un poco de temor seguir comprando ahí, disculpe pero hay que tener más cuidado con esos celulares

MY FAVORITE PLACE! The best fritanga in south Florida in my opinion. Large variety of food, great taste, and honestly the only place I go to when I want Nica food and drinks.

Love their carnitas & carrot orange juice. Very friendly staff but it should be renamed " Fritanga Venezolana" most of the staff is from Venezuela.lol

Service dead. Need to welcome people and not be so laid back. We are paying for it.

Kids running around the bar at 10pm at night. When asking the manager on duty, he says that was the company policy & if our table did not like it to leave (I found it to be a strange response). We had 4 adult beverages on our tab and a meal. I personally handed him the tab due to the waitstaff being busy. He told me that he was “Not my f’en waiter” & took it anyway. Change was given & we tipped the waitstaff. I spoke briefly to a co- manager letting him know that we would not be back. The “other “ manager on duty walked up behind me turning me around and to us to get the “f” out of his bar. Needless to say he was incredibly out of line. His staff was apologizing for him. 2 late I’ll never go back & will recommend to my staff @ work no to go there as well. A discussing display of management.

Had chance to be great but average at best prices too high food so so service the same nothing makes them special. Went to twice done.

We have eaten here about two or three times after the opening . One visit was okay the decor is nice change to the dump it was before . The Bar has been renovated quite well.The food is typical Sports Bar fare . The wings,ribs,tacos and burgers are okay but they need to find a better cook , that would make a world of difference .

Best Nicaraguan food in Cuttler bay

Saw a new sign recently advertising brunch in the front of the place. Decided to give it a try. Nothing fancy here. But the food was good and not as expensive as other spots in town. The hubby had the Dano breakfast sandwich which he said was yummy. I had scrambled eggs and bacon. Again, yummy. I thought the coffee was a little strong. My second cup was cold. Hubby had no problems with the Java. We will go back!

Service was good........food was horrible...I don't know who was in the kitchen but....WOW! I will try one more time...that's the limit...So close to my house...wish it was better.

I went in one night 20 minutes to closing ordered 4 plates of food, for the family. All 4 plates were different but all 4 plates were delicious, I ate a little off everyone's plate. The whole family kids ,even though my kids are very picky eaters, and all were happy with full bellys.

Food is good and staff is friendly, we come here when we're craving some carne asada and quest frito.

I moved to Colorado but I loved coming here! I used to live in Homestead, which lacks much in the way of fritangas (hard for me since I grew up in Sweetwater—land of the Nicaraguans haha). But I always enjoyed driving over here and getting my hefty portions of gallo pinto, queso frito, and tajadas and my husband loved the carne asada. I'll definitely come back here when in town again.

I have been going to this place since it was called Shipwreck. I love the food, customers, and the staff because they make everyone feel welcome. I go with friends, my boyfriend, or solo and every time I feel relaxed and comfortable. The owner is down to earth and always checks in and asks, "How's it going? " Other than removing the pool table; I still think the place is awesome. The only change I would recommend is when they have bands or DJs they should move some of the tables.

We drove by this place at night and found a lot of bikers parked there, so weren't real sure 2 girls from Indiana should go there at night. But, the following morning, we were looking for a place for breakfast and noticed a kid holding a sign about breakfast and brunch on the weekends. So, we decided to eat there before going to Homestead Speedway. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food, service and a great Bloody Mary. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this place to start your day off in Florida.

Happy to finally have a hole in the wall with great food nearby. The atmosphere is very casual. Maybe too casual. Could be a bit cleaner. But for the price and the food is an excellent bargain! Beers are cold on tap and well priced.

OK; a Sports Bar and Grill offering "brunch"....well after driving past the new "brunch" sign we decided to stop in. What a pleasant surprise - not only was it an extensive menu, not your standard boring buffet, but an a wide variety of delightful dishes. We tried a variety but one of our favorites was the pancakes, light and fluffy with fresh fruit and syrup trimmings, large helping of made to order eggs and home style hash browns. They only serve weekends until about noontime so be sure to get there in time. You could enjoy a brunch cocktail by the way!!

Went here today with my parents, husband and son. Place was crowded due to Dolphins game. No problem getting a table. Waitress took our drink orders right away and was very personable. Ordered and food came out quickly. Very good menu selection for a sports bar. I had a French Dip that was yummy. Everyone in my party said their food was tasty...especially the burgers. Good neighborhood establishment.

This place was a bust. Close to home but not hardly worth what was paid. Fish and chips was mediocre, kinda like fish wrapped in soggy pancakes and lightly fried. Not exactly the crispy texture I was looking for. Waiter couldn't figure what kind of vinegar I wanted with it, brought me red wine vinegar, some attitude, and a touch of bewilderment when I asked her for malt vinegar. Finally did find it though. Caesar salads didn't have croutons 🤔. YMMV Likely won't be back.

Cutler Bay Sports Bar & Grill is a good local hangout. The people are friendly and the bar is well maintained. It gets hot I stopped in and enjoyed a draft.

This is our local sports bar and grill, we love their food. And service is great. The wings are some of the best I've tasted. Favorite is the blackened honey. The Mahi mahi sliders are tasty and the cheeseburger sliders. We usually take out as can get very busy but if we can we eat there. Parking is easy,food is great, service is amazing. Well done

Many different choices of all kinds of food, everything is good. It is a bar atmosphere, but some people brought kids, would not recommend that. For those who still smoke, there is an outdoor seating area for smokers.

Good place to order for take out the dinning room its a little small but can manage the owner is a sweet heart and they make a killer meat and potatos!!! Highly recommended
