Love this place When I was working at DataRemote in Cultler Bay was my go to place. Loved the food and the crowd really miss you guys....

We came here after a soccer game with seriously 15 adults and 13 kids and Tiffany was AMAZING. She gave us the best service and was fast and courteous and so nice. Food was good and heart, great portion sizes. We will be back!!

This is my favorite go-to restaurant with friends. We love it. The staff is great... The food and drinks are fabulous! Full menu and full service bar, priced right for freshness and oh so good seafood and more. The atmosphere is nice and not too loud. My goal is to try everything on the menu, eventually 😋. I am looking forward to my next visit very soon.

In the decades I've lived in the area I have passed this place hundreds of times on the way to Black Point Marina and each time I have put it in my "one of these days" mental file. We finally got around to it last week and the place did not disappoint. Located on ever-gentrifying Old Cutler Road this small unassuming place has been family owned and operated for many, many years. The atmosphere is very casual and there were a number of families as well as adult groups out for the night. The menu, of course, was seafood forward but what else would you expect from a place called Rodbender's? The menu included the typical Florida seafood items you'd find most anywhere like Shrimp, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, etc. but to my surprise (and joy) it also included less common items like Hogfish (usually only in the Keys), soft shell crab (Carolinas and northward), and sweet and tender cracked conch. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, the wait staff were cheerful and accommodating when we asked for a different side with our meal. Pricing is about what you would expect for Florida seafood and the helpings generous. We will most definitely come back especially when we entertain out-of-towners looking for real Florida seafood experience . South Florida is jam packed with great local breweries and the only reason I didn't award the place 5 stars was because they only had 2 craft beers on tap and both IPA's. The remaining handful of choices were just the mass market brands you would find in any grocery store. Not a deal breaker, mind you, but if you enjoy trying new brews with amazing seafood having a few more choices would only further elevate an already great experience.

Rodbenders had been one of my families go to restaurants for a long time, but now under new ownership, the service has become abysmal. It's sad to see another great restaurant in the area fall to pieces because of an ownership change. The food is still great, but plan on needing at least two hours for dinner and don't expect all of your parties meals to show up within 15 minutes of one another.

On our latest visit, we opted for the 10 oz Jumbo dolphin sandwich and were impressed by the generous portion compared to the regular size. My fiancé and I eagerly anticipate our next visit and can't wait to indulge in another delightful experience!

Rodbenders Raw Bar and Grill is absolutely amazing! It's not just about the food, which is fantastic, but also the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly owners and staff. The place has a perfect balance of being lively and relaxed. It's always a blast to go there with the family. Our top pick is definitely the Tuna Poke Bowl—it’s fresh, flavorful, and always hits the spot. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. In short, Rodbenders offers delicious food, excellent service, and a great place to hang out. It's definitely a 5-star spot in our book! Looking forward to our next visit!

Recent regular. Love the food, service, vibe, etc. One suggestion please on your combo plate (ordered 4 times; first 2 out of clams; 1x broiled). Remove the fried clam strips… they are not fresh and don’t do your place justice. Replace with fresh oysters or something fresh/local and adjust the price if you must. Thanks! 🙏

Seems like a great, popular local spot. Drinks and food were priced well, and we enjoyed the conch fritters and oysters.

We had high hopes for this place... Extremely disappointed... Server ignored us, he had an attitude, food was subpar.. I doubt we'll come back..

I've been wanting to visit this place for years. Finally, I had the opportunity to visit a few days ago. The food was average at best, the wife had the hog snapper with pasta, and I had blackened dolphins. The fish was fresh, but just not seasoned correctly. The taste was just not up to par with both dishes. Portions on everything was small but service was good.

Margarita was lemon and salt, mojito.. didn't even have yerbabuena. We left after 30 minutes sitting and nobody taking our order.

Our server was super!! She was attentive and not over bearing. The food was delicious, the portions generous and the cost was very moderate. Definitely not to be missed.

Food is ok be careful because if you’re allergic to something it’s doesn’t say it in the menu and I had to send my food back and it took 20 more mins to get my new food. Lowest was chewy not worth it and drinks are to fruity. Not a fan not sure I would return.

2 weeks in a row order the same thing dolphin Rachel it’s sad that on a Tuesday night you can’t get order right one it states in menu Swiss and coleslaw I ask for it on the side you put it on it . Then no where does it say it goes with dressing on it I ask for a side order of 1000 and you manage to put it on the sandwich how hard is it to get a simple one person order right ? Rather go to sandbar for more money from now on at least they listen to what is being ordered

We were looking for a place to get a good bite while in town for a week. Couldn’t have been more satisfied with Rodbenders. Great ambiance, quality service and delicious food. Also, surprisingly, probably the best spicy marg I have had in a while…and I drink a lot of them :) - seriously, cool place, relaxed and all around solid. Check it out!

The food served is Top-notch. The wings are so juicy and perfectly crispy, the best I've ever eaten, and the burgers are so big and delicious! My dad seemed to enjoy the oysters too. The waitress was very sweet and attentive.

Edible, short order fare. Nothing to write home about. Brought a guest and he didn’t like his soup and waitress forgot his beverage, so after 30 minutes of chasing the waitress down he got it.

I wanted to come here for a while. Always pass by the front and I was surprised about the amount of cars and golf carts in the parking and thinking that locals love to come here I decided to come. The food was great and good served. The service was fast and nice. You feel like you’re in any Florida Key restaurant. Definitely will return.

Not family friendly as staff are dressed like it is hooters. Sad, because the food is good. However, the women are dressed very inappropriately.

The congenial atmosphere at Rodbenders is so inviting. There is nothing like it in Miami. The menu has an offering second to none. The staff and management are always smiling, welcoming, and professional.

Delicious seafood but some sketchy white "merican" dudes in fishing shirts or drunks

Took a party of 7 to Rodbenders this past Wednesday night to Rodbenders. It was busy but we were able to to get a table right away. Our server, Cat, promptly met us and was attentive throughout the night. The appetizers, soups, salads and dinners were all exceptional. A great local place with lots of atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The place is run by a bunch of rude children. Walked in and was told by the front to find a clean table. Should have walked out then. But I was told this place was good, they must have been drunk! It took 20 minutes before someone came by after finding a clean table. Staff playing games with each other. Overpriced and small portions. The service: rude girls who argue with you about what you order. When asked if there were any managers here. Was told no, that there was no one in charge there. You get a choice of fries with the dinner but have to pay an upcharge for shoestring fries that come undercooked. The fish was small and tasted bad. The plate was hot, but the food was cold. Over Price apps. When served the apps, the plate looked half eaten already. The coleslaw had changed colors once you opened the container, smelled old and rotten. Could not finish anything they served including the coke which tasted funny as well. I hope I don't end up with food poisoning.

Lobster roll is not lobster iy is actually imitation crab meat with a bunch of cheese. It is embarrasing to sell something is not I live here in CB. And lobster is lobster not imitation crab. Shame on the kitchen staff for selling fake lobster

Food was good but our server (Tori M.) made our experience horrible. Appetizers and food came out all together after I specifically told her not to do that prior to our food coming out. Our table was cluttered with no space whatsoever. I had to ask for Tabasco several times. She did not check on us at all and once we were done eating it took about 30 minutes to get our bill. It was my first and last time going there.

We joined a high school graduation celebration last week for my niece and had a terrific experience! Not only did they cook our snapper to perfection but the sides and appetizers were super tasty. To put a bow on it, our server was exceptional, keeping drinks and cocktails coming while keeping our boisterous group focused, fed, and satisfied!

This is a seafood gem! My husband and I brought his parents to have dinner here and we had a great experience. The food is delicious and well worth the price. Portions are reasonable and there are tons of options. There is a variety of fish to select from as well as other options like chicken and red meat. The seafood is fresh and can be cooked any way from grilled, blackened, or fried to sautéed in a lemon butter sauce to an alfredo cheese sauce. I highly recommended this restaurant for an awesome meal.

Pretty good overall. The portion sizes were smaller than I thought for the price, but it was made up for in flavor.
