I love getting take out here. This place absolutely slaps. The only thing I pass on is the clear soup. The soup is essentially hot water with an onion floating on it lol.

Place is pretty cool for the most part. There’s a drive-through where you can get your food which is good and the food is OK. I wouldn’t say five stars, but I would try it out at some point if you like to try new places.

Food & service are consistently wonderful, and it’s always worth the drive from our side of GVL. Thank you, Fuji!

Fuji is responsible for two of the worst restaurant experiences that I have ever had, and I once bit into a burger with a patty made of hair at Hardees. A few months ago my family suffered for over a week with salmonella caused by improperly cooked food at Fuji. It tooks months before we were brave enough to return. We ordered our food at the drive through and the order was wrong. Tried to call and inform them and couldnt speak to anyone on the phone that spoke clear english. So we drove back up to the establishment just to have them say they wouldnt fix the order or give us our money back. At least the grabage can got to eat. It is so sad because the restaurant was so good when it first opened. I guess this type of management is why I never see anyone there when driving by anymore. Be cautious if you make the decision to eat here.

What's up with the carrots? Are you really saving that much money using frozen carrots? Everything was delicious. We ordered shrimp hibachi and scallop hibachi. Both delicious, but the frozen carrots cooked in cinnamon really threw everything off. I'll order from there again, but I'll make sure that there's no soggy cinnamon spice carrots on my order. Seriously fresh carrots with no seasoning would have been a thousand times better.

We were really impressed with the food and service here, ESPECIALLY for the price. Will definitely go back.

For all of you looking for Asian food, move on and save yourself the time of looking through these reviews. To summarize this restaurant, it's southern food with a thin veneer of "Japanese" Its sad to say but sarku Japan in the mall has better "hibachi". If you like southern food, and want a different style, it's great. Personally, the sauce that people were slathering on, the watered down chicken broth (that I don't even know why they brought out - in its Styrofoam bowl), and finally the carrots were horrid. I guess sweet carrots are a thing out here, but I drew the line when I couldn't decide if the carrot or soda was sweeter. I gauge a restaurant by how good I feel after eating it, let's say I felt horrible afterwards. Both because of my bowels, and all the Styrofoam I was chucking in the trash. They also don't like sharing a soda between two people I guess, which is weird. For a fast food restaurant (it's not really a sit down) offering free refills but saying "nope you need two cups" is wild to me. As someone who's been a server that just felt petty, especially because soda syrup is fairly cheap. And if my wife and I share a soda, get one refill and call it a day? Is that a problem? Would you rather I get a 20 oz and guzzle my way to break even with 16 refills?

The cheapest hibachi this side of the third world. Oh. My. Gosh. Fuji near Furman is an absolute gem. Hard to find a place in this economy where Hibachi is fresh, fantastic and under $10! Go here.

Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Portions were very large. Ordered at the drive thru window, pulled up, and food was brought out a short time later. Hibachi chicken, Hibachi steak, and a shrimp and scallops. All were delicious. The carrots were at the top of the list for all-time top vegetables. It was out first visit and were already planning the next stop.

I always pick up my order at drive thru. The food is always good and fresh. Good quantity of food for a good price. Staff is very friendly, & welcoming.

These guys are my people i live so close that i can get my order and be back home in 10mins. The hibachi dishes are my go to and i like them with zuchini and snow peas. Super hard working staff. Thanks for opening up where you did.

I go to this restaurant frequently and the food is always delicious, affordable, and everyone is so kind! I never get Japanese from anywhere else now because it’s all too expensive or just not as good.

Came here on a whim, we were headed to a different restaurant but so glad we made a last minute change. The food was awesome we got the teriyaki chicken, the soup was very good, the service was very good as well. They were quick and very fairly priced!

We LOVE Fuji. I've been going to the one in Spartanburg for years, and they finally opened one here, close to home. The food is outstanding and the service is super fast.

Food was perfect and hot and the guy who took our order was nice as can be. I will definitely be back because not only did we get our food fast, but the prices were incredible and the restaurant was VERY clean, so we're the bathrooms,! Speaks volumes.

Shellfish warning! To the manger or in charge:, I learned that for the past couple weeks, I have suffered anaphylaxis shellfish allergies. I have mention to tone worker/ waitress(guy) I’m shellfish allergies, the person is charge is had explained to me, they have specific pan for the Specific food but, still to this day, cause me the severely. I’m no longer consume, this wonderful food however, sake of my health.I had order drive thru, and dine in. And or pick up. So be aware of shellfish cross contamination in at chef. What behind closed door you don’t see.

Tried Fuji for the first time tonight. The service was very quick maybe 5ish minutes, it wasn’t very busy. We paid $18 for a teriyaki chicken and a hibachi steak plate which I believe to be fair pricing, there is a 10% discount if you pay with cash. The food was great, it reminded me of a hibachi place I used to go frequently in my hometown. We will definitely visit again!

We've only done takeout from here but it's so good. It's like a Japanese Cook-Out restaurant but in the best way possible. Incredibly reasonable prices, incredibly generous portions, and incredibly delicious food. Highly recommend!

Did a to go order for 2 spring rolls and chicken hibachi. Food was so yummy! Hot and fresh! I love that the chicken was cut up in to smaller pieces. The carrots had a sweet taste to them, which I personally love! Rice was cooked right. Yum yum sauce was on point! Price point was not bad at all. I will definitely eat here again!

Tonight was my first time here at Fuji! The food was 5 stars, the service 5 stars and the atmosphere was 5 stars. The employees were very attentive & greeted me upon arrival walking in, offered me menu's, & waited patiently for me to give them my order. They also were all smiles. They took my order & within 5 mins I had my food, hot and ready. They brought it to my table and were so professional and nice. It's the little things like this that make places of business get a 5 star from me. I appreciate the customer service and it's a plus when the food is good! The vibes were real chill and laid back. No noisy atmosphere, or kids screaming, no rambunctious crowd was there. Just laid back and quiet and relaxing. They also play very relaxing zen kind of music that helps with the relaxation and like most of us we all need a good place to eat nice people with a relaxing environment. I recommend this place for a lunchtime or dinner evening. It's a place for all ages. The prices were decent and inexpensive which is affordable! The food is delicious and I even had leftovers! They really put on the meats and most places you visit try to give you more rice and less meat well here it's more meat and a good serving of rice! I recommend this place to all locals and newcomers! It's also in the cut which meaning by that it's in a private spot not a lot of traffic. Thank you Fuji for treating me to a great Friday night at Fuji! Thank you for your attentiveness and wonderful customer service! It's very much appreciated and I will definitely return for the good food and excellent customer service. So happy this place opened near me! It’s become a go to a couple times per week. I’m picky about this kind of food and while it isn’t the absolute best I’ve had, it’s still very good and I’ll continue to go often. I might even go now! :)
