Great spot for breakfast! Typical Keys feel

Traditional diner feel, nice employees, and good food. They also have scrapple which is rare to find down here.

Good brunch food. I am surprised that they have such an extensive gluten free menu, that is nice to see! The Belgian waffle with strawberries was good, and the steak and mushroom sandwich. I had a traditional egg and bacon plate. Glad we stopped her on our route to key west. Only thing I disliked is having only 1 bathroom stall and it’s outside the restaurant.

Gross waitresses at this place. I ordered a simple BLT and fries which were very dry. The waitresses gave me an attitude. I asked to speak with the owners who I know, and the waitress claimed that She was the owner! I left promptly and will never come back. All I can say is that I prefer the Cafe on Big Pine now. The Cafe has much better food and more polite waitresses. You know a fifth generation conch knows where the best food is! I have commercially fished and dove tropical fish for twenty nine years, so I have supplied many of these restaurants with seafood. The Cafe has delicious mahi mahi and crab cakes as well.

Nice place. Big portions, around $15.00 per person, coffee refills and it was very yummy. Our server was Amber. She and the gentleman at the counter Chad was very nice.

Delicious diner style breakfast. Love places like this, wish I could find a good one back home. We had the country breakfast. They claimed to have the best housemade sausage gravy you'll ever have. I have had better, but not often - it was pretty good. Scrambled eggs were good, and with it ridiculously hot, fresh fruit was a great idea instead of home fries.

This was our go-to place for a great breakfast. They have a free membership that tracks your purchases. We qualified for free items. The staff was friendly and I believe it is family run. On our first visit, the manager greeted us and made us feel welcome.

This is THE place for breakfast in the Lower Keys: easy access from both Key West or Marathon. Dorothy (and her teenage daughter) were the best waitrsses!! Food was excellent with large servings. Don't miss this gem!! -sorry, no photos.

Sunday, March 17, 2024 we had a late Breakfast at the Galley Grill based on a recommendation. So glad we visited and dined. Delicious. Great proportions. Outstanding Service. Fair Pricing.

Food is good, service was a little slow even though there were not a lot of customers

Ate amazing catch of the day meal with one of the nicest coleslaw salad, great grilled cheese sandwich with applesauce and a very good key lime pie! Katy, the best server! Accommodated our youngest with crayons and a coloring sheet.

Best breakfast ever!!! Sweet potato hash was amazing.

We had better food and paid less than our two meals yesterday!!! Crab cakes and sweet potatoe fries and Cole slaw were great for me. Wife enjoyed the quesadellas and home made salsa.

Came in for a quick lunch on the way to Key West and it was very delicious and an amazing value. Got a shrimp wrap and some great onions rings. Service was fast and friendly. Sat outside and very comfortable.

Stopped for a breakfast on a way back from Key West. Open already at 7.30. It's right after Shell petrol station so you need to slow down not to miss it. Ordered shrimps and grits, always have it when being in US. Portion was HUGE! Shrimps cooked well, not dry at all. Bacon crispy. Loved it!

Had the country breakfast and the sweet potato hash. Best breakfast we've ever had. It was busy, but they were quick with getting tables bussed and turned over to the next bunch of people waiting. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely visit again!

Do not be fooled by the under-stated appearance of this establishment. The food, the service...everything is top notch!!! Extremely clean. The staff treat you like you really are family. Located off of US1, it's easy to miss so be on the lookout! Add this place to your list of must-visit restaurants!

We have been going to the Galley grill for many years for breakfast and lunch. We had dinner for the first time it was excellent. Family owned and wonderful service and food.

I gave the Galley Grill 5 star cause they wear smiles when you arrive after a night of wearing a smile, and you will not leave hungry. Check it out you'll see .

The service at this establishment is HORRIBLE from beginning to end. Ordered coffee and cranberry/walnut pancakes. I had to get sugar from another table then was delivered blueberry pancakes and had to go to counter and ask for syrup. I really cannot rate the food because she took my order incorrectly and when I received the food, I saw blueberry pancakes instead of cranberry walnut. I took the plate of food to the counter and said the order was wrong. She looked at her orders and said that’s what I ordered (with attitude) I told her no it’s not what I ordered. She told me to take the plate of food back to the table and she would place an order of cranberry pancakes (while my eggs and bacon get cold). I told her nevermind with the order and just cancel it. My significant other ate his food and at no point did anyone return to our table for any service or to see how everything was going or even refill my coffee. I did take note of the tall blonde stuffing food down her throat behind the counter the entire time. The dark haired lady put our bill on the table and walked away without saying a word which at that point I knew the entire experience was a bust. We walked to counter to pay bill and the entire time she talked with the other brown haired waitress and did not acknowledge us at all. She flipped the payment screen around so I could pay and walked away. My boyfriend and I looked at each other in disbelief and shook our heads. I had the receipt print and had to walk over to her and ask if she could retrieve my receipt and she huffed and said it is right here where you printed it. Unbelievable!! Rude and disrespectful group of gals over there. Never again will they get the opportunity to deliver that type of service to me or anyone I know. SEE YA!

Cute breakfast/lunch place in summerland key. Brought 2 toddlers here solo - they were so busy for New Year’s Day but server still went out of her way to bring height chair, coffee & fruit bowl out asap after noticing how restless the kids were being. Everyone who worked there was really nice and everything was cooked well - my kids loved the sausage! I was a fan of their coffee menu which included espresso options

Updated lower star due to service. I’ve been here a few times and the last time I went Service was so bad, I will never be back, even though the food is amazing. As a single female diner alone, I experience discrimination and poor service often. I was so blatantly ignored that another blonde waitress tried to get the bartender/ waitress of lonely tables attention. Even then, it took her another 5 minutes to come over and even longer to bring a to go box. I walked to the register myself, and she was so surprised not to get a good tip for all that she blurted out loud to the waitress next to her, “She left me a $3 tip.” Yes I did, and I would have loved to give you much, much, more but I refuse to give someone so much who gave me so little! Originally I was Surprised to find a full page of gluten free breakfast items! Definitely hit the spot to have so many choices gluten free buns, bagels, French toast, and even pancakes? I was blown away by the food options. Too bad the service experience was so bad.

We visited the morning after Thanksgiving and although it was busy, the service and food were fabulous. Our sever was polite and efficient. Our food came out piping hot and was prepared perfectly. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and it was so yummy! We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.
