Had breakfast and highly recommend the Breakfast Cuban sandwich.

I have eaten here about 6-7 times now and it has never disappointed!!! I usually get a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and a Pineapple-Cranberry mimosa!!!! I love the fact that feed officers in uniform when they are working, and that alone makes me want to support them even more!!! The service is phenomenal!!! I can't say enough about this hidden gem!!!

Awesome breakfast burrito. I was finishing the first half of it and thought, "Oh no, it's almost over", then looked down to my plate and had a second half to work on. Family enjoyed everything, line was a long but the wait was short. I hope to return!

We had breakfast here twice while vacationing on the island. Food was very good. Everyone was friendly. It’s a small place and very busy, but it’s worth the wait.

Creme brulee toast was tasty, and other breakfasts were ok, good portion sizes. Gets busy, be patient in queue, it went down quickly & service was friendly. Gone up a star for food as just tried the cinnamon bun! They are big!! Yum!!!! Interesting gifts to browse, although they seemed more expensive than other gift shops.

Got a croissant sandwich and it was delicious! I went with a couple other people and the portions were all pretty big. It was a bit of a wait for the food but worth it in the end. The atmosphere was fun and it was decorated with many odds and ends that were cool to look at. There was also a fun shop to look at while waiting for food. I would definitely come here again!

Awesome cinnamon rolls! Road tripped for 2 hours to get some and they were sold out by the time we got there. Tried the waffles and they were just as good. This is our new destination for morning eats on AMI.

Trying to figure out why it was as busy as it is here. The employees are very rude I let them know the coke machine was coming out water no one came out to refill after all food was delivered to tables they were all sitting on their phones instead of filling pop machine . The place is kinda filthy to be honest. The food was just okay nothing really special . Maybe there's not many breakfast restaurants but I def would not come back here .

Had a great experience! Staff is so friendly, and the food is phenomenal! We had the creme Brule French toast. Yum! The wait can be long depending on how many people are there at that time, but the food is worth it.

I just wanted to give Danny & Elania a good shout out , the sure deserved a raise, the last few times my family & I have come down , they have been nothing but excellent, wonderful customer service, the work very hard , getting the food out , making sure it's clean for everyone , & just being bright and bubbly , they are so awesome at their job!!! & I wanted to take the time out to make sure they know it .

Portions were very good sized. Fun atmosphere. Was bummed they didn’t have any key lime pie when we were there and it was very early in the day.

Not for me. I appreciate the “small town charm” but it’s a mad house. Waited 15-20 mins in a hell of a line to order then 55 mins to get our food after we were told about 30 mins. Seating is very limited for the crowd and it’s a bunch of yard sale tables that are quite past their prime to serve food on. I appreciate their style but they really need to make the dining areas bigger and the gift shop smaller and maybe some newer tables IMO. For the amount of business they’re doing they could afford some newer less used tables from the yard sales. As for the food it’s so, so. Breakfast burrito was ok at best. The waffles and pastries were good, smoothies had a little too much milk or whatever they used as filler. Mimosa was a very nice touch and tasty. Staff was very friendly. I would have given 3 stars but the whole “30 min wait” to get our food in almost double that is why two stars.

What an eccentric little restaurant/gift shop!!!! Glad we found this place. Many cool things for all &&&& amazing food to boot. HOMEMADE EVERYTHING!!! INCLUDING PASTRIES!!! We will DEFINITELY return next year when we pay a visit.

This is the first my husband and I have been to AMI and we absolutely love this area. The first morning here we ate breakfast here and it did not disappoint. There was a good line to order and at first we debated if we wanted to wait and we sure were glad we did The food and service did not disappoint! We are breakfast here twice and lunch once. All was good but the breakfast is the best by far! Great for food and portions for a good price. Highly recommend!

Seems like a hole in a wall, but the inside is a gem! Our ginormous blueberry muffin was so fresh and delicious, I'd definitely get it again! I'm told they are made fresh daily and I could tell. The coffee was also extremely fresh and hot.. Just what a coffee lover wants! The atmosphere is eclectic, it has a lot of interesting things to look at while you wait in line. I'm definitely heading back to try more.

My wife and I ate here for lunch and were very happy with our meals. She had BLT and had so much bacon she had to take a little off (I know that sounds 🤪). I had the Cuban sandwich and seriously it was the best I have had in this area. We will definitely be going back. Sorry no pics but didn't take phones in. It was an us day. Hope you enjoy.

Excellent breakfast and unique atmosphere. We loved the food and people. Everyone was really nice. The souvenir shop was nice too.

Food was great. Coffee was good. Came for vacation here will for sure come back. Staff was very sweet in particular I spoke to Zoey and she as well as the rest of the staff make you feel at home and are willing to help for anything. Very pleasant experience!

Food good not great, tiny portion size. Need more tables. Need to fight for somewhere to sit, could use a hostess up front to remedy the table situation. Zoey needs stop wiping same wet spot on counter when there is line people waiting to get their order taken. Other dark haired girl was on it.

The atmosphere was great, but huge disappointment on breakfast/coffee. We were a party of 5 and the only dish that was good was sausage and gravy. Most things under cooked and no flavor. 3 of us also ordered iced flavored coffee and it was so watered down it didn’t even taste like coffee.

I came in the other day for a bacon egg and cheese burrito with some add ons inside and I have to say it was amazing. The bacon was cooked to perfection. I believe due to the recent storm there is a plumbing issue however, as it smelled bad. Nevertheless, the workers made my food and my drink diligently and up to par. The coffee concoction I had was also quite delightful and she even put extra whip like I had asked for. And the employees I've seen were very friendly and had a smile that lit up the entire room. I don't know how there are negative reviews when such an amazing staff runs the place.

Hope this helps with honest review Front door entering store/restaurant was disgusting glass that was so dirty from finger prints food etc….. gross Now to bathroom was even worse floor was soaked wet and bathroom smelled like death or dead animals or something Employee was waiting in line when I came out and I mentioned bathroom condition and she shrugged shoulders with no care what so ever Basic breakfast nothing fancy ordered eggs over medium/hard and cashier even repeated it back to me and wife ordered scramble eggs dry not slimy or burnt brown Well my medium eggs the white was still runny not cooked wife’s scrambled eggs were slimy bacon was curled up in a ball and not cooked what happened to good ole flat crispy bacon and so called amazing cinnamon roll was horrible cold thick overly sweet burnt cinnamon taste icing over powered everything not worth the wait or hassle or definitely not the price Sorry can’t lie In review we are locals not vacationing Do the basics brilliantly need to slow down clean your restaurant because coffee in hot tubs even had mildew smell taste to them definitely won’t waste money here again for basic breakfast

This place is 5 stars all day long. Food was the best breakfast we had on the island and service was great too. Pancakes are huge so come hungry. I had a hot vanilla latte and it was perfect.

This place has been here as long as I can remember. The line is out the door almost every morning during the summer. They do a decent job getting food out and it is tasty. The hashbrown casserole is particularly delicious. Think Crack Barrel but better. Just be prepared to wait!

A pretty and very kind girl named Zoey or sum got my drink order completely to perfection. I had a big order and everything came out perfectly. 10/10

This stunning blonde with beautiful brown eyes took my order, and was very friendly and guided me thru the menu which I had hard time reading because I left my glasses at home. The welcoming feeling she gave off was unmatched and will definitely come again!!!!!!

Cinnamon rolls are the size of dinner plates. I had to go order and the breakfast sandwich took a bit of time, but overall it was pretty tasty. For those of you wondering, it's a very eclectic store front with a full-fledged diner in the back.

Food was tasty. 8 had the egg scramble, and the hash brown casserole which was super yummy. Took a long time to get our food, but I'll look past that since it was mother's day. But it wasn't that busy, so maybe they were just short handed in the kitchen

This place is really fun. It's a store in the front then follow the great smells all the way back and order some yummy breakfast or sweet treats. Yummy

Long wait for the biscuits and gravy but it was incredible.

Breakfast here was good, but the focus was the baked goods. The cinnamon rolls are the star of the show and they're big enough you'll probably be satisfied with one or two for the family. I wasn't sure I wanted to stay when I saw how long the line was, but the counter service was fairly quick.

Chaos is the best word to describe this place. The layout forces you to push past the gift shop checkout, through the dining room all the way to the back of the building to the kitchen to place your order. You get a number to put on your table so they can bring out the order, but there is no control of customer to table ratio so we stood there with our number and no place to sit until we eventually went outside to sit at a table almost in a parking spot. When we finished we had to gather our plates and garbage and fight our way back to the back of the building to put in buss trays. With some serious redesign of the space and a host station to control the seating this could be manageable but as is, it is just an added frustration that could easily be avoided.

Came to Anna maria island for a sister getaway! Stopped in Ginny & Jane for breakfast and it did not disappoint. We arrived at the perfect timing because we found a table right away. The line was not long. But by the time we were eating the line was out the door. We had Cuban sandwich, avocado toast, egg platter, hash browns and a waffle. Everything was yummy! Hash browns had a little after taste so we didn’t at it all. But everything else we devoured.

Great service, fantastic food, eclectic vibe. Visiting from CT - this place is a must try!!

I'm not sure what happened to the cinnamon rolls. I've ranted and raves about them since I first started getting them almost 20 years ago. My last purchase, I returned the rolls for a refund. They were not fresh (I bought them at 7:05 AM on a Sunday). I have bought these in the past and saved them a day at my home so I understand what a fresh roll and day old one is. The ones I bought did not have the quality of Ginny's & Jane E's consistent past. I am just hoping that this was just a 'one time' poor experience in food quality. I was offered a refund but honestly, I would rather have a quality product that I always have had in the past. I might try again and hope for a better experience.

We really enjoyed the cinnamon bun, lots of cinnamon which I like n lots if icing for those that like that. We asked for it toasted n buttered but it just came warmed up. Guessing they don't toast... would have been nice if they had said so. If sub sandwich places can do it, certainly they could. Over easy eggs came with whites runny also, so next time I ordered basted n everything was great. Nice relaxing place to eat.

Iconic AMI breakfast spot in a historic IGA. Have enjoyed varied breakfasts here over the years and many early morning runs for their insanely huge sticky (pecan rolls) buns and cinnamon buns. The Creme Brule French Toast is a must try. When the self serve coffee bar has Jamaican blend that's the best.

This place is amazing! I had the breakfast, specifically the crème brûlée French toast with mixed fruit…absolutely amazing 🤩 I was also lucky to have the homemade (made daily) cinnamon roll..mind blowing! My husband had biscuits and gravy, he said it was one of the best he’s had. Try the chicken & waffles, they were yummy. The service was great (Morgan), and the gift shop had many beautiful things; clothes, jewelry, trinkets. Overall this place is a MUST stop when you come to the island, whether staying for a day or for the week. ❤️

The latte I ordered was pretty good. I was told by others in my group the flavored coffees were good as well (Flavored coffee is a bit of a crime, in my view, but I know others prefer it.) The breakfast burrito I ordered was pretty mediocre. Eggs that seemed to come from a microwave, onions, red bell pepper, chicken sausage. Edible but bland. The interior is pleasant, albeit a bit overburdened by the 50s era music piped in. The place gets crazy busy from what I can tell, so if you want to go, go early.

The food, service and atmosphere was great. I Highly recommend the cinnamon roles and waffles. You WILL have to wait to order your food for awhile so plan for that. We’re here on a Monday morning in February and the line is literally to the door with no place to sit once you get your food. If you’re on Anna Maria island make sure you stop by and check it out. You’ll just have to have some patience 🤷🏻‍♂️

Very homey spot. They have elite cinnamon rolls but I recommend you split it with 2-3 people. Their hash browns are also excellent. Breakfast sandwiches were meh but it’s probably the best for a local place.

We have vacation in AMI every year, and Ginny & Jane E's is our first stop every time. The food is so fresh and delicious, staff is kind and helpful... we can't say enough great things about this place. Ginny & Jane E's also has great shopping. After you have your fabulous breakfast or lunch, browse their art, jewelry, and excellent selection of gifts. One-of-a-kind gifts for others and yourself. We recommend getting there early if you are seeking something particular in their bakery. Things go VERY fast because lots of people love Ginny & Jane E's like us. ;) Enjoy!

Growing up in Anna Maria the IGA was our grocery store. Seeing it turned into this great little spot and keeping the building looking original makes it that much better. Great food, cinnamon rolls are not only huge but have the best flavor with lots of cinnamon. You won’t be disappointed.

BEST chicken salad sandwich and homemade chips! Cute eclectic tables and chairs! Second attempt of eating here. The first time the line to order was out the door...more than an hour to get food. We left and returned at a less popular time (before 9am or after 1pm) still does a great business, but was better for us. A nice collection of local art work to browse through before or after you eat, or just to shop and not eat. Did I mention the giant chocolate chip cookie?! Delicious!

Delightfully delicious breakfast spot. Loads of character, feels like a small Cafe. Mismatched tables scattered about, knick knacks and a shop attached to it. Self serve coffee and an order-at-the-counter system. Very well done food, we all loved it. The staff was friendly and fun. We will be back for another breakfast at Ginny's and Jane E's. Long wait for a table and a disorganized system. Another group, that knew we were there first, swiped the first available table. Not cool to have to be so aggressive looking for a table. Only problem with the place.

Agree totally that the creme brulee french toast is not to be missed! Delicious! Smoked salmon bagel was also wonderful. 4 stars instead of 5 because woman who took our order was cranky. No smile. Nothing cheerful. Kept making me repeat order with no explanation as to why. Pickup instructions were delivered in rapid staccato style (like "I've said this a million times and I am So Tired of it and you seem not so bright and probably won't get it anyway...."). Really was unpleasant. 4 stars instead of 3 because a wonderful (and pleasant) young man who worked there helped us at our table and was very gracious, and also because the food was very good.

Lots of fun little local artisan items, which was fun. The roll we got was underdone, which took away from the experience, but was still nice. They made it right, though: so nice!

We visit here every time we visit the area in December and this year was no different. In the few weeks we were in the area we visited three times for breakfast, and every time we only had the creme brulé french toast! Hard to describe how lovely the french toast is! Always served hot, and has an amazing texture and taste. Definitely the best french toast we've ever had and I highly recommend it. The service is always very good and the prices are also good for the portion sizes. It can get very busy with long lines and no tables and we've always been at slightly different times and never found a pattern. So be prepared for a wait but it's definitely worth it. We will definitely be back next year!

Had lunch today and it was spectacular! Grilled chicken sandwich very good with the best fries I’ve ever had. The Cuban my husband had was huge. Brought 1/2 home! Very friendly and accommodating staff! Of course, the shopping for stuff always helps!

Hard to rate the atmosphere since it's part of the personality of the place. The service was helpful and friendly. Food was unique and very good and pricing was reasonable, especially since you are getting a professional chefs creation. Probably lower priced than other local restaurants.

It's worth standing in line and searching for parking and seating The cinnamon rolls are to die for. Chickens salad on croissant fresh and homemade. Smash burger juicy and well prepared. Absolutely A+ in flavor freshness and preparation. A must try place.

This is a nice place to stop and have breakfast/lunch before touring Anna Marie Island. The gift store has a really cute gift shop that is reasonably priced. Lunch was very good. Very eclectic.

Great food but I was quite disappointed with the service we ordered our food when we went to go find a seat there was none available due to the minimum seating and the cashier forgot about our drinks so I went back into line and asked for them and she asked for a receipt but we never got one! Then I asked if she could look up my order then she told me no and gave me attitude so I went ahead and got my food and boxed it up and went to my golf cart! Great food but don’t be surprised if you get some attitude from the cashiers!

This is the place to be for breakfast in Northern AMI. They have awesome and huge baked goods, made to order breakfasts, and very unique local artists items for sale. Come early if you want to get some of their famous baked goods because they go fast. The cinnamon roll is big enough to share. I also enjoyed their chocolate chip cookie on a different day. Their biscuits and gravy were also very good and sharable. Low top and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. AMI pricing. Eclectic atmosphere. Definitely a hopping place on any morning in the Northern AMI. I would recommend.

Never been here before until recently. We're locals and have always avoided this place because it is always packed with malihini (tourist). Today they were slow so we decided to try them out. It's a tourist trap when you walk in but their food was so good. We've been missing out. We'll go back when they are slow again and we're out and about.

Great place for breakfast! I always stop here to get a breakfast sandwich before I do a job in Anna Maria Island. The everything bagel with egg, sausage and cheese is the bomb!
