My husband brought goat and found hair in his food. The lady told him the hair came from the air lol. My husband really wanted the goat so me his wife went back to repurchase it. The lady told me she refused to sell it to me because goat is very expensive and my husband could’ve ate the other goat he returned smh . She went on to say that this is the only Golden Crust where the meat is cut and slaughtered by Allah. Also she gave my husband her tip money as a refund lol just ridiculous . Be aware going here because this gave me a look at how people really cherish food over customer service! Without customers you have NO BUSINESS…

Let's just say I wouldn't feed my dog this plate. I was in a hurry and went in for beef Pattie's and decided to get a fried chicken lunch plate. Well this is what I was given, maybe day old chicken which was soggy and sitting there and rice and peas with oxtail gravy. It's Disgusting ! I won't be eating it, I don't have time to go take it back and I won't be giving it to anyone else. the two Pattie's I got were just as bad! Smh $19 down the drain!

I ordered a lunch special of brown chicken stew and a small oxtail... I acknowledge my biases right off the back because when I asked for extra gravy for the rice, I was told it would cost extra... I declined because never in my life, have I experienced this. Whenever I have gone to the Orlando location on colonial or the Tampa location, this is an easy request. I was also told it was to-go only, I could not eat inside. The portions were skimpy at best, the food was cold as it been sitting, the chicken was over cooked and tough to chew, the oxtail was amazing hours later (I ate it for dinner). I just wish there was more cabbage and gravy to mix with the rice and peas.

The food is super delicious, especially the Gungo peas soup on Fridays. The staff is not super welcoming and they really don’t interact with you. If you’re not interested in social interaction, it’s fitting. The great food definitely makes it worth the visit.

Got a small oxtail. Steam cabbage they skimped and tasted old. The rice smelled old and was dry. Oxtail trash. Workers seemed too young to care. They need better training. Honestly the worst golden krust. Check your food before leaving. Ordered 2 patties and only got 1.

The food was extremely dry and tasteless. Portions were tiny. My chicken was cold to the touch. I had to ask for sauce to make the rice edible. Ended up just throwing the plate away. They were out of Plantains, which they did not mention until after we had paid and then asked about them. Just a bad experience overall and I’ve always eaten golden crust. Never again In Orlando.

The employee of this place has no customer service training. On June 18th I visited the store with great excitement after coming from another state the day before. As a Jamaican I wanted to indulge myself in some real Jamaican food, my wife and I arrived 11.55 am and ask for four mild beef patties, she said she didn’t have any and I ask how long will it take for them to be ready, she said it would take 18-20min. I paid for the patties, and ordered a lot more delicious things that my eyes could see. We sat waiting for the patties. One hour later no patties, other people came in long after us also waiting. When the patties were ready, she began serving everyone who came in after us, one lady pointed to us and said they were here before us. Then I said to her I have been here over an hour, she just shrugged her shoulder and served us, during the hour there was never a word like sorry, only a few minutes more. When I got back to the hotel, I was more disappointed with the ackee and saltfish, the ackee were nonexistent, with a lot of vegetables, two dumplings and two bananas. We paid for a large meal. This was not even a small meal. Disappointed was not the right word.

Food is exceptionally fantastic, a hidden gem, despite the roughness in, and around the shared complex... Once inside, you quickly relax into the space and trust me, it's worth every penny!

I tried their mild beef Jamaican patty(Empanada). It was really good but I didn’t like how their prices weren’t updated on the screen. They do have a paper in front of the cashier saying the beef patties went up but it doesn’t state if anything else did. I payed $3.25 for each which wasn’t bad.

I 😍 the crispy 🥧 parties and the Krusty the Clown 🤡 character. It bring such tears of joy 😂 to my sons 🎂 party. Thank you, Golden Crust for all the hard work and entertainment you bring! !

The food was good. However, I was told that there is a camera where the food is handled. So whoever is working can not give you more then a scoop of each things. So needless to say the portions are very small.

I ordered brown stew breakfast, this is not brown stew. The dumpling falling apart, you can tell it’s over night food. The chicken was fried so dry, with no seasoning or flavor, with tax over $13 not again. I’m so disappointed

I ordered the oxtail plate with rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains through Uber eats. When I received my food I got toss salad in place of the cabbage and no plantains. I called the restaurant right away and got Sandy who told me that Uber eats makes up their own menu and there is nothing that she can do. I spent $33 on a plate that is missing 2/4 items. Very disappointed.

I had a catering event for about 300 people i called and spoke to a young lady named Moya. She told me she was just a cashier and that a lady named Shelley would be given me a call back.She would pass the message along. On my second called, she said to me.I'm just a cashier shell he comes in at 2 o'clock.I'll make sure she calls you back. That was Four days ago no call How do you expect your business to grow if you're not providing the service that people are calling about? Or your employees aren't passing along the messages to the correct catering managers or manager which I did ask to speak to both!

Food is not fresh, the fried fish after eating smell like salt fish and taste like dry fish. Please don’t cook old frozen red snapper if it’s spoiled.

Let me start with I never want to hurt business but this was not Jamaican, maybe some other Caribbean country cooking. To much black pepper in ackee, too oily , fried dumplin greasy, Callaloo& salt fish-flavorless.. totally drove a ways thinking this was going to be my golden crust Teaneck New Jersey experience, it was not. My belly ache & I’m still hungry😫

I think the Orlando location has spoiled me cause I go to the one on east colonial every chance I get and they are not stingy. This one did not add any extra gravy and they gave me the same amount of chicken that I paid extra for. I paid 16 bucks for the large chicken curry and all they did was give me extra dry rice no extra chicken. The service wasn't terrible but the Orlando location they screaming welcome as soon as u walk in and give service with a smile. The lady at the front looked like she was over today and wanted me to get my food and go lol. I will not be coming back here and I wish I read the reviews because I could have spent my money elsewhere and got more for my money.

Always open your food and check it before you leave this place. The food sometimes seemed to be from days before. Not fresh

I've ate here multiple times and each time I was treated poorly all I ask was for the sauce packet that's advertised and she disrespected me then try to charge me 50 cent for a sauce packet the size of a average bottle cover it's a shame yo own ppl treat you the worst I would not be taking Uber orders or eating out from here anymore

I ordered a small jerk chicken meal and jerk chicken with festival. The jerk chicken was not jerk chicken; it was more of a bake chicken. Don't taste no jerk seasonings. The festival was hard like a rock. If the festival is left too long in the warmer; the staff should have known the festival is no good. If I wasn't too far from the restaurant I would have returned this order. I been to Golden Krust in Alafiya and Kirkman Road and there food is good. Need a Jamaican cook that really knows how to cook. As I will no longer return to this location.

For someone who love buying oxtail at any Golden Krust I could this one was the worst I've ever had. Oxtail had no flavor, cabbage no flavor and the rice and peas just nasty.

There is noooo way this food was cooked by a real jamaican. Ordered red peas soup The soup is yellow. Zero taste. Which jamaican cook soup with american sweet potato( yams)?. Patty is dry and "tuff:. Waste of my money. Would never recommend this place to anyone.Please you all go back to the drawing board. Dissappointed to say this is "Authentic" jamaican food. Kmt.

Just ordered stew pork ( one of my favorite dishes when I used to live in Jamaica). Mind you I know it’s never going to be that “Authentic” taste but this nowhere near stew pork. They gave me 3 pieces of DRY pork. If you’re gunna call it stew at least have some sort of stew sauce on the food. Wow. Not even no potatoes no carrots smfh. NEVER AGAIN! . I also bought chicken soup. - no dumplings in the soup ?? Are you serious. And if u look u can see it was drenched in oil . These people are stealing a living.

Some of the worst jamaican food ive ever had. This is their brown stew chicken. It its tasteless, dry no seasoning, i would ask for a refund for my entire order if i could. Omg im more then disappointed. My friend got the curry chicken and i got pcitures of that. The cabbage has no seasoning in it what so ever not even salt and its barely cooked on top of that. Which one is curry an which one is brown stew. Yea u cant tell lol. Ps do not sit here and reply with "sorry it didnt meet your standers, nonsense" we all know if you honestly cared you'd just close ur business or get a better cook. I unfortunately didnt read these past reviews before ordering from this place and thats my ignorance. Never ever again, and I hope this help save even one person from this awfulness.

So this is supposed to be stewed chicken with rice and peas with the side of cabbage however I don’t know what I was served this tastes nothing like what Jamaican stewed chicken is supposed to taste like. The flavors are completely off. Rice and peas are cold no plantains this establishment needs major work on their preparation seasoning and cooking techniques of these Jamaican dishes

I walked in and I ordered the fried chicken with steamed cabbage, rice and peas and I got cold rice and no peas, cold old fried chicken that was burnt and dried up cold cabbage. Such a disgust I couldn't even eat the food because I was not sure how long they've had it sitting and it was nasty. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here ever. I wish I knew how to post the pictures.

My wife grew up on St Croix and if ound Golden Krust during a visit to Orlando to give her a taste of home. Food was great and tasted just as good heated up later at home since we bought extra just for that.

The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered 2 patties with coco bread. The patties were flavorful. The meat was well seasoned, and the patty shell was flaky. The coco bread was mild in flavor, very soft and warm. The food on display looked amazing. The tables, floors, and overall appearance were clean. I would definitely visit again!

This is not Authentic Jamaican Food.. I was disappointed with the food.

We went to purchase beef patties. We arrived before 6pm and was told that there was only one beef patty left and they weren't making any more (even though they don't close for another two hours). I asked about the fish dinner. I was told that they would have to cook it, and I said ok. Then she told me that they were out of fish. My colleague who purchased the one beef patty was not pleased with it. She said that it was mostly filler with very little beef and fried instead of baked. I would not recommend this place.

You guys are so expensive and very strategy about the food which has no taste. This is the first I heard you can't get oxtail gravy if you don't buy oxtail, I stay with Negrill in Orlando if the golden krus in Orlando doesn't do people like that, paying $38 for two small jerk chicken, very disappoint

Not the typical Golden Krust food quality as other locations I have visited in other parts of Florida as well as other states. Very disappointed as I am new to the area and was excited to have this restaurant chain close by. Will have to find another restaurant for Jamaican cuisine.

Rudest management I've ever met. I drove a long way to get treated horribly. Food was cold. They were out of everything. Hostile staff. Stay away from this place. They've fallen off in a bad way.

It has been a while since we got food from this restaurant. It used to have very tasteful food in the past. Yesterday, we were excited to get oxtail, curried chicken, curried goat and roti. Everything was disappointing. The curried chicken tasted as if they just seasoned it with curry and nothing else. The food was flavorless.

This is not the place to go if you want delicious Jamaican/ Caribbean food. I have only been here twice because each time something taste nasty. Paid for dumplings and laawwwddd it didn’t have no flavor just dough taste so nasty. Take your time and drive to the one on colonial their food bussin.

The food is amazing, the service is incredible, The store is very clean too! The lady there that's usually working in the mornings is very very nice and mannerly, she is very friendly too. I'd say this is the best Caribbean restaurant in Kissimmee!

They have a 1 star. Their customer service is horrible> i complained to the manager that my food smelled strange the same day of me receiving it. This was odd because I have got food from there many times before but this time it was supper weird. I called them and they did not call me back so I drove there to let them know that the food was not good. They didn't even ask to look at the food that it was barely eaten. The manager said that she is not responsible for the food when it leaves her establishment. She had a very nasty demeanor. I simply threw the food out and told her i would never return. I have never had to return food before for it not being good. She said she cooks the food fresh everyday and that was my problem. My stomach didn't feel the best that day but because she was so ignorant It didn't even make sense getting into details. I hope no one got sick from this food that day. Last but not least trust and believe we need another Carribbean restaurant in the area, because there isn't that many, sometimes owners/ managers feel that they can treat the consumer any way without recourse.

First off just want to say the food here is amazing. I met the young man that was working in the back and he was very polite. He should definitely be some kind of manager because his customer service was awesome and he can definitely make a person crack a smile. He gave good suggestions and I definitely enjoyed my time here.

When I got home I was surprised that I got a snapper 1/2 the size and was charged full price. Normally the snapper tail would be sticking out the large container. When I called the store, they said that is the size we received, so I asked why would you charge me for the full price. She said the register was being used and could not check. I recommend that you check the food before leaving the store. My wife usually order the food, but for me they slipped in a small fish.

This restaurant has been here for years and yet the food has not improved. The brown stew chicken was mediocre, they use cheap rice and it did not taste good at all. Ackee and salt fish had no salt fish in it and was flavorless no seasoning. Get some tips from Flavors of JA. Won't be returning.

Then the oxtail was tough and under seasoned and the owners wife wouldn’t even return my money back. But due to the health conditions of the food especially the FRIED dumplings I will be reporting the state and my bank. Don’t eat here. What a waste of 32 dollars

This place served cold old wings not fresh, like outta the refrigerator microwave heated up if I had my own ride I would've tooken them and threw them back at them. I'm a trucker from outta town she blame on Uber driver but that wasn't the case the uber driver But driver arrived ahead of expected time. This place was only 1.5 miles from where i was located. Beef patty was hot and fresh. Drink was very cold.

Hands down the best Curry Chicken with Rice and peas in Kissimmee 😋, the curry chicken has a hint of spice that’s so good, I asked for curry juice on the rice and they did just that. Amazing!! Thanks to the cooks for this amazing lunch. All they need is curry on the lunch menu lol.

I love the red rice and beans and the jerk chicken and sweet fried plantain with the sauces although they could add two more pieces of the sweet fried plantains instead of two but overall delicious it saves me from having to travel far to look for restaurants like this before I head off to work Thank you for all you guys do at golden Krust ♥️

Be wary of the pricing and portion. Visited establishment during lunch hours. Asked for a small was charged full price because i didnt say “lunch special”. It was the same size container and substituted the rice for more cabbage because last time I order the rice it had no taste. So be sure if you are ordering anything for the lunch menu, you say the key words “lunch special”. As the clerk stated, “I cant fix the price because it was already served. If you said lunch special we would have even you two pieces of meat one plantain or cabbage and rice. The cabbage is more money” SMH. I could have order Uber Eats or Door Dash and gotten the order I wanted from Flavors of Jamaica for a better cost, better tasting food and would have saved the gas and effort in going.
