It was my first time trying this restaurant after seeing great reviews about them. It's black owned, and I wanted to support it. Im not vegan. However, I do love vegetables. I got the mushroom burger with special fries, and everything was delicious, fresh, and hot! The young lady that owns the restaurant took my order, and she was so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to try something else.

I recently started working in Zachary. Ive noticed there aren't many healthy options to choose from at lunch so I thought id give The Golden Vegan a try because their food looks amazing on the website. I know nothing about vegan food but the owner was so helpful with helping me decide on what to order. I tried the burger today and it was amazing! I will definitely be back to try something new every week! I highly recommend trying it out if you are in the Zachary area!! 🤗

This is the best vegan spot in Louisiana. I always order more than one option at a time so I can eat it right then and again later after they close. If you needed a sign this is the one. Eat at this vegan restaurant it’s soooooooo good. Thank me later.

why isn’t this in baton rouge was the first question i asked when biting into the boom boom shrooms from golden vegan. absolutely amazing food at an honestly inexpensive cost (i’m so tired of overpriced vegan food when it’s just vegetables). hands down some of the best vegan food in louisiana and amazing service. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go :)

This is my 4th time eating at Golden Vegan and they never disappoint. Her new restaurant in Zachary is nice! Food is DELICIOUS! I ordered the Appetizer sampler (southwest egg rolls and boom boom shrooms) and the Oyster mushroom sandwich with fries. Food was ready in 15mins. It was soooo good! I ate the appetizers in the car on my way back to Baton Rouge and when I arrived home my oyster mushroom sandwich and fries were still HOT! Thanks GOLDEN VEGAN!

I ordered the vegan messy chicken wrap and a side of loaded fries. Both were absolutely delicious! I’m so happy there is a vegan restaurant right up the street. Definitely ordering again!

If you are new to the vegan world this is the place to go.. First visit we had vegan southwest egg rolls and the vegan messy chicken wrap.I thought the egg rolls where my favorite until I came back and tried the boom boom shroom Omg definitely my favorite! I highly recommend this place and the owner is so sweet.. oh and definitely try the Berry Blast lemonade!!

I order the Cheeseburger and fries along with the Egg rolls. That dam burger is better that MC Donalds sandwich. That food was bussin !!!! The only thing its missing is that sauce that came with the egg rolls. Egg rolls was off the chart. The food was hot. Good customer service all well. Can wait until she opens in a building soon.

Food was great! Was very excited to find a fully vegan menu. Food was ready on time and I struggled to find the place but called and was given great instructions and Food was waiting when I arrived 😋

I must admit, I was skeptical at first, but when I realized I was supporting a small minority business owner, I got up enough courage to try it. Her food is amazing. I am very critical of food, but I was pleasantly surprised. I live in Downtown BR and would drive all the way back to Prairieville to patronize this business again

The food is fresh and amazing. I recommend you trying Golden Vegan. I love the nachos, oyster mushrooms, and egg rolls . Just to name a few. Gold Vegan never disappoint.

Golden Vegan 🌱 10/10 ‼️ Everything was DELICIOUS, SO GOOD ‼️I ordered egg rolls, they were awesome and thick , it comes with spicy cheese sauce. I also got a plate of loaded nachos , when I tell you EVERY CHIP was covered and literally the whole plate was loaded. They were yummy and fulfilling(bbq sauce on nachos was bomb). Lastly, I got burrito. I have not tried yet but its super big and comes with cheese dip and green dip… unsure maybe its salsa verde. I definitely recommend golden vegan. Affordable, Fresh tasty VEGAN food, and excellent customer service ‼️ Even if you are not vegan, you will enjoy🌱‼️

I had the cheeseburger, it was well seasoned and arrived super fast so I could enjoy it hot. I wasn’t able to get a picture because I ate it so fast lol! I love having yummy reliable vegan options in Baton Rouge!

Not a sit-down restaurant yet, drove out here from the LSU campus just to find this out which was pretty disappointing. Only order ahead for delivery/pick up, no quick on-site take out either.

Some of the BEST vegan food we ever had! Everything was super fresh, ordering was swift and great customer service. I can't wait to order again 🤗
