This is Empanada heaven, this little Shack makes the best empanadas in the region, I'm puertorican, and they make them just like we do if not better, and they are South american and Indian.

Little place. The empanadas were hit or miss - the shrimp ones were inedible, but the beef chipotle were pretty damn good. The ratio of filling to empanada is a little lean.

As I’m sitting outside waiting for my order I realize that I haven’t taken the time to review such an amazing establishment; best empanadas that I have EVER had. Can’t recommend this place enough. Fast and delicious!

The food here is awesome. When you're ready for a snack or a sandwich, do you have to go here and whatever you want to order? Order two of it because you're going to eat one when you get in the car and you won't have anything when you get out of the car. I learned that the hard way. So if I want one empanada I order four and the pineal sandwiches are delicious must have

Empanadas were a little too oily meat was seasoned ok not the greatest empanadas but not the worst.

Every time I order and ask for sauce I have to pay for it’s these tiny containers that are never full and it comes with 1 small sour cream. That’s very infuriating

Exceptional! Seriously, the owners and the staff wonderful and very kind. The food was surprisingly good, and I would have to say the best fried dough in an empanada I ever had. I tried the sugar emapanada and it was wonderful! All the food is home made, it is absolutely delicious! The best emapanada anywhere! And the prices are unbelievable, usually I pay $5 per empanada, but here it's only $3, wow, Plus their combos are amazing, and amazingly priced. 5 stars. Well deserved.

If you want some of the best Empanadas in the tristate area, then you must make your way to Grab and Go in Hamden, Ct. This place is no frills and can be easily missed due to its small size but food has huge flavor and is very reasonably priced. THIS IS A MUST TRY.

Sorry, not sorry. There are no pictures of these delicious empanadas because, well, I'm eating them. Tasty varieties of chicken, beef, pork, fish, and even no meat options! Just grab a few of my favorite chicken chipotle and a few of the beef chipotle to start. Heck, try them all, and you'll find you favs. Call ahead as they do cook fresh. Definitely recommend this spot.

Stopped by while driving past the area and it’s a great place for a quick snack or meal! We got the beef chipotle and pork empanadas and they were both piping hot and fresh and tasty.

Empanadas were great! We randomly stopped at the gas station next door and decided to try the empanadas. Im so happy we did!

All of the empanadas are very very tasty. The papi dogs are yum and the sauces are fantastic.

Go here now! If we could’ve tried one of everything on their menu we would have. Fantastic empanadas (the pork was particularly excellent), delicious homemade desserts, everything is fresh and the people there are so warm and friendly! Good vibes all around! What’s not to love?? Chopped cheese sandwiches and beef and cheese empanadas are my go to. So good every single time!

Best food and empanadas are the best

Love their empanadas but mostly enjoy their grilled chicken. Cutlets are a little high in salt for my taste, but the grilled chicken is perfect. I have it on a sub or sometimes on a roll. The price is always right. Best thing I like to do is add Avocado to a grilled chicken sandwich: heaven. Their beans are also very good. I've have their entrees with rice and beans; I prefer white rice as the yellow rice is a little too oily and salty for my preference. I try to eat low salt, low sugar, and low oils so it's hard to find food fresh and delicious enough. This place is it! Deff one of my favs in the area, always sad to see it close on Monday's but again, try out their food and find your new fav dishes. I believe this style of empanadas is more from the Andean/South American region, which I prefer as I'm also from that area. My fav empanadas are beef and salmon. So glad they have non-red meat options for their empanadas. Overall, love this place 😃

Cheap prices and lots of options. Very convenient location too. The only thing I would say is to update your recipes, you have such potential.
