Wonderful Service !! Greeted with a smile and overall great food !! I bought the Mary Jane wrap and it was tasty and made with love. Location is walking distance to the beach and has wonderful employees … the girls in the front of the restaurant had beautiful smiles and good spirits. Pura Vida

I took a friend out to Baptist Beaches yesterday and we decided to grab a bite and decided on Grom after looking at the menu. I asked Christine this morning how she liked her sandwich. We both got The Hammered Pig. Neither sandwich had coleslaw on it and they were very dry.

We travel from KY quite often and this is our #1 spot we have in mind for food when we’re in Jacksonville. THE BEST LIL SPOT IN TOWN !!

Love the breakfast here when craving something more non-traditional. The breakfast tacos are yummy and the jalapeño cilantro sauce they are topped with are a nice pairing. The side of fruit is always fresh. My husband loves the shrimp and grits. His go-to every time and believes Grom has the best shrimp and grits in Jax. Highly recommend!

I had to delete my previous 5 star review and leave a negative review :/ This place has really gone down hill. We like to hit it up Sundays after church, and the service and food quality has become really inconsistent. Usually more consistently bad than good. Super long wait. Fries are cold, bread tastes stale, and sub just felt lacking. Really disappointed as this used to be our go-to spot. Isn’t a one time thing. This was our third time after saying, we shouldn’t go there again. This time there won’t be a forth. C’mon Grom! I want y’all to succeed!

I had the sliders, which were amazing! This location seems a bit removed from major traffic areas, although it is very close to Jax Beach. Unfortunately, no direct beach front views :( The service was great though, & it has a very fun, relaxed, beachy vibe to it :)

Figured I’d swing by on my lunch break (I have a 30 min break for lunch) and sat there for 25 min before I left without getting my food. There was only 5 people in there including me I don’t understand why it took so long. Not only did I not eat anything for lunch and completely wasted my lunch break I’m also in the hole for $15 for the food I never got before I left. Thanks for ruining my Saturday now I gotta finish off my work day hangry.

We stopped because of the google reviews and the pictures! We got a smothered burrito with pork and boy was it amazing!! Do not miss out on adding the Peruvian Hot Sauce on top because the flavor is amazing!!! I wish we had space in the car to buy an extra burrito to go!

This place is a dive, and it looks like they built it out of someone's former house. HOWEVER, like most dives, this place is great! The servers were respectful and always had a smile, the atmosphere is nostalgic of my childhood yet still feels like a restaurant. I went with my friend and I was able to crush him (4 to 1) in Connect 4 while eating my delicious food. Definitely will go here when I go back to the beach.

So much has changed since I moved away from Jax Beach and I was so stoked to see the Grom is the same and the food and service is amazing! This is a must go when you visit!

We ordered ahead online and still waited at least 20mn in the restaurant. 2 breakfast sandwiches one bacon, one ham . Bagels were both super dry. Everyone raves about this place it came highly recommend but we were definitely disappointed. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Bummer

I love going here, the food is great! It's really good and tasty but beware, it's not health food! For breakfast I get the biscuits and gravy with spicy fried chicken and eggs over easy, yum, yum! For lunch I get the Mary Jane wrap with chicken and shrimp and a side of fresh fruit! Bon Appetite!

Definitely worth the time and energy. I was hesitant on stopping by, but happy that I did. The employees are incredibly sweet and will let you know if there is a long wait for food. I got their avocado toast due to egg allergy, but all the food looked wonderful. I’ll be going back!

Good time, great food, and groovy atmosphere. Staff was smiling and proud of the place. Sliders with Peruvian sauce, and potato salad was excellent. My wife enjoyed her very fresh, generous basket of handbreaded shrimp. The daughter had the chicken nuggets tossed in the Peruvian sauce. To say it was all excellent is an understatement. Prices were very reasonable as well. One block off the beach. We'll be back!

I walk here once a week for breakfast.. I get biscuits and gravy(amazing gravy) with scrambled eggs. The atmosphere and employees are wonderful and the food is excellent.

This place has a little outside seating as well as inside. Small parking lot in front of it. We ordered and got our food fairly quickly. Beachy style food. Pretty good taste.

Kind of off the main path type spot that has great food and a surfer/beachlife vibe around everything you experience there. From outside its kinda got the hole in the wall look, but once you step in and try the food and interact with the staff you will fall in love with this place. Edit 9/24/23 food quality is off a bit, everything was Luke warm at best, and other than the Parmesan potatos flavor was off too.. they are great even when Luke warm. Still love the feel of the place and hope they get their mojo back before our return.

Found this little spot totally on accident on Google maps, simply by exploring and thinking the name was strange. Decided to stop in for lunch before hitting the beach, and completely loved it! I had the Peruvian Gold Nuggets with fries and ranch, and wow it was incredible. I can't even explain that Peruvian sauce, but it's amazing. I ended up spreading out the fries on the bottom of the tray, then poured the nuggets on top of those, topping it all with more Peruvian sauce & ranch, and that was definitely the move. So delicious. My husband had The Hammered Pig, which was hammered fried pork loin with slaw, pickles, and garlic aioli. He added the Peruvian sauce from the table, and then he really loved his too. We got 1 order of kids pancakes for our 2 girls to share, and we're pleasantly surprised at the quantity for the price. Also, they were really good pancakes. We don't live in Jax, but if we get the chance to come back here one day on our visits, we would definitely eat here again!

This place has been kept and maintained excellently by the new owners. This used to be the spot in high school to get Samoans. I’m glad the new management has made a serious effort to maintain the charm and prices consistent with what people can afford.

Crowded, but still found a seat outside. Had to bus the table a bit ourselves, but somebody came and wiped it down. Had a late breakfast. Everything was tasty. Mimosa was OK. Servers at the counter did their job, but not much personality. One of the runners was great and friendly, joking with customers. Wish I could remember her name.

Was the best wrap I have ever had it was the Peruvian golden nugget wrap with the special sauce. I would drink that stuff if you gave me a cup of it. Absolutely hands down best wrap I have EVER HAD !!!!!!

Arrived to Jacksonville after a long drive and noticed this place had great reviews on Google. Well, the food is mediocre and lacked seasoning. Personally don’t think it’s great but it did the job just to put something on my belly. Service was great, friendly staff, and ambiance is good too. I think if the food had flavor, I would return.

I really enjoyed the low carb breakfast option. Very good, eggs with blacken shrimp, hot sauce and cheeses. Very tasty! Cooked perfectly. Friendly and great service.

This is a Gem for sure, first time I have ever been to Grom and it did not disappoint. The food was awesome, the staff is super chill but fast and 100% on point. They have all the best VHS movies from my childhood, the music they play is amazing and their Sweet tea is grade AAA+!! It just feels good to be here, I highly recommend🤙🏼

Fun place to go to before or after the beach. Great menu selection for the brunch crowd or post surfing grinds. Ordered the mj wrap with the beans and rice. Pretty good and was pleasantly surprised with the rice and beans. Other party member got the fried chicken wrap with fries and loved her selection. They know how to cook fries really well. Also they offer alcohol too. I even saw pitchers of mimosas floating around. I would come back for sure.

Have eaten here many times and it’s been great, however my most recent experience wasn’t. Went in for breakfast with guests from out of town, it was a super long wait for our food even though there were only two other customers. My scrambled eggs were over cooked and completely cold when my plate came out. I asked them to heat them up for me, they took the whole plate and brought it back five minutes later. The eggs had barely been warmed up and now the rest of the plate was cold. Also, both sausage patties were not cooked through, cold and bright pink/raw in the middle. Didn’t bother sending it back a second time. Pretty disappointing breakfast experience. Hoping it was just an off day!

It’s really alright there’s not to much to say the fries are just McDonald’s but I do like the vibe of the place. I did get the Samoan and the chicken tenders are basic just like the fries

The groms always good for lunch if you like the Peruvian but don’t want the whole sub. They have sliders that are on time try them out.

The food is good but I would advise to steer clear if there is any indication of a crowd, it is not 40 min wait good.
