To say we were impressed with Harbor Candy Shop was an understatement! They had SO many chocolates to choose from, and really unique and artisanal ones at that! I wish I could’ve sampled one of everything. We picked out a couple truffles and a box of a dozen pieces to take home. Super high quality. I’ll always make sure to stop here when I’m in the area! The staff was patient and kind as we took in all of their offerings and decided what we were going to pick out, and they had some adorable fall treats out too!

The best turtles EVER! So yummy and fresh. Chewy soft caramel. Not too sweet. Highly addictive!

The dark chocolate truffle, raspberry truffle and dark chocolate non praline were excellent.

It's such a cute candy shop with so much yummy goodness to choose from. 😋 Everything in this candy shop looked delicious. Definitely check this candy shop out when exploring the area.

Not a lot of room to look around if it's busy. Chocolate was pretty good. A little on the pricey side but it's a tourist area so you kind of expect that.

This is one of the cutest candy stores I have ever seen in my life. You can watch as they make things, the selection is gigantic and everything looks delicious. Ended up with some taffy and turtles and both were incredible!

This little candy shop makes you wanna have one of everything in the place. The gentleman who makes the confections was there with his hat on and is apron, and he was arranging them. Goods of the day that he in freshly made pretty hard to leave there without one of all, at least all the non. Perelles, I did leave with some christmas present so and none of them are for me.

Old time candy store. Such a wonderfully delightful throwback to the stores of yesteryear. Along with the nostalgia comes the huge amount of gluten free offerings. Where have you guys been all my life???

This shop is amazing! I manage a candy shop myself in NH so I think I'm pretty hard to impress when it comes to this stuff but the variety of things they have is outstanding! We stop in multiple times when ever we are on vacation. I know they also make a lot of the chocolates themselves and you can tell they take a lot of time perfecting them all! You have to visit this shop!

Tastes like soap and perfume. This chocolate shop was so cute with nice employees and a great selection. Unfortunately either what they’re using to clean is highly scented and contaminating the chocolate or employees making them are wearing strong perfume one or the other because the chocolates tasted like fragrance. Some much stronger than others. Some were bearable others I couldn’t get the perfume out of my mouth. Dropped $40 super unfortunate I hope this reviews makes them aware so they change whatever is causing this to happen.

Very nice shop. Expensive as heck but you either eat here or just go buy a chocolate bar or something. This is a specialty store that caters to people who have money or expensive tastes or both. I bought 4 white chocolate covered cherries for $3 so 75 cents a piece lol. They were very good thank you lol. Other chocolate there priced by the lb at like 30 or 40 dollars a pound makes this chocolate business pretty lucrative lol. Anyway nice store I was just passing through.

Found this gem a few years ago on my annual family trip to Maine! Absolutely amazing EVERYTHING! The chocolate pralines are to die for. Looking forward to stopping in again this summer. Highly recommend! Decadent and delicious. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming!

This place is unbelievable! - 3rd year I have purchased their chocolates and had them shipped to our home at Christmas. They make the most delicious chocolates I have ever tasted. We used to buy from Kellerhaus in Meredith, NH. - Now it's Harbor Candy Shop -the best raspberry creams, orange creams and black currant cups. Please don't change a thing! Also - your shop is exquisite!

Every town should have something like this. It was accessible, but also had the highest artisan chocolate around. Great curated selection. Highest quality. impeccable service. tasteful and proven packaging. amazing taste. superb. when I see a place like this where I'm going on vacation, I know it's going to be an awesome week. bring money you will need it for buying everything in the shop. made right there behind the glass. can't say enough about this place.

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid and my grandparents took me. My parents live in maine now and I go every chance I get. And I just discovered they freaking SHIP 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I’m so excited. I LOVE their fudge. And a bunch of other stuff that I forgot to order in my fudge enthusiasm. I introduced my boyfriend to it also, and he’s maybe more obsessed than I am? And he’s a health nut so that speaks volumes lol. Love this store forever

Harbor Candy Shop is a must visit! We go here every time we are in Ogunquit. Handcrafted confections, old school favorites and of course salt water taffy. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Been coming here since I was a young child. The best, most delicious chocolates you’ll ever find. The 25 piece assortment is to die for!!! And also makes the perfect gift! My favorite are the beautiful green velvet Christmas boxes. Everyone who receives them can’t get over how delicious they are! Will be a customer for life 🍫❤️🇫🇷

While visiting Ogunquit I passed by this super cute candy shop and the incredible smell of freshly made chocolates drew me right in. There is something there for everyone! From nostalgic childhood favorites, fresh local Maine saltwater taffy, and the most incredible chocolates/truffles I have ever had in my whole life. My only regret is not buying more to take back home with me.. thankfully they do have an online website so I will be buying more in the near future! I don't normally write reviews but this is well deserved.. the chocolate caramels are absolutely out of this world amazing. And the staff was super friendly and helpful :)

Such a cute little shop! I love a good candy store, and this is both local and has been a part of the community for several decades. There’s candy there to fit everyone’s budget and it’s homemade!

Absolutely delicious! Caramel is buttery, chocolate is not too sweet. Best American chocolates (eg turtles, etc...) we've ever had.

Love this shop! Only negative experience I had happened yesterday when the cashier kept on speaking when she knew we were deaf. Not all deaf can read lips. She didn’t make any effort to communicate with us. This kind of behavior is annoying for us. Thanks!

Our first visit, it's so charming and upscale, the packaging was extra nice, and the chocolate was the most flavorful I've ever had. Definitely worth it, excellent for birthday or hostess gifts etc.

Fruit jellies (I tried lime, lemon and blueberry) were fresh and flavorful. Those and the chocolate covered caramel marshmallows were my favorites. Cute shop in a small downtown area. They had beautiful handpainted eggs for Easter.

What an absolutely beautiful candy store. The selection there was over the top. I can't see not finding something there to satisfy your sweet tooth. While I did not purchase anything, the eye appeal was definitely there just for a moment to take you down memory lane! Thank you for the experience of such a beautiful shop.

Chocolate is phenomenal. Customer service-not so much. After my fourth visit this winter, No one greets you as you enter and the people working there don’t seem to like people and this is the off season. Are they even more rude during the summer?

Great selection of unique packaged and handmade candies. Windows into the candy making sections allow for visitors to see the chocolatiers in action as well.

I have a friend who's a certified chocoholic. For years I've been searching for something she really loves. When I sent her an assortment from Harbor Candy, she called me to tell me to stop looking because I found it. :D The chocolate is fantastic! I'm less of a chocolate fan, although I do like it, but the caramellows, beehives, fudge, and GLORIOUS brittles are what I keep coming back for. Worth every penny, and great mail-order service. I hope someday to visit in person.

Went here last week on vacation. Very nice shop with every type of candy I could ever want. Purchased Crème a la Sucre and Penuche fudge—both were delicious! It’s a good thing I don’t live closer because I’d be there all the time! Highly recommend!

Phenomenal Candies & Chocolate!

This was a beautiful shop and the smell and chocolate gave me the feeling of being a part of my favorite movie Willy Wonka. BUT that feel-good feeling left quickly once I realized my sister and I were being followed. As my sister enjoyed her search for a particular chocolate, I watched the candy maker watching us. He followed us throughout the store. After the purchase was completed we went into the adjacent store and a few moments later the same candy maker was now in the store and watched us again and inquired about socks (really). I am a proud Black woman and know when I’m being profiled. Perhaps not the store but that worker needs to not only be LGBTQ friendly, let’s try a little Black Lives Matter as well.
